Hope you guys were having a good time. I know I am. Last time, Fox somehow managed to reverse Ice Shell, returning Ur back to her body, albeit a younger body, and was reunited with her two students, after lecturing them. Now it's time for them to finish up their mission. Sit back and enjoy.

Chapter 7: Under the Moon Light

"I don't know what you mean," Lyon said as he looked at the Fairy Tail mages with a confused expression.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Lucy asked as she put her hands on her hips. The Fairy Tail mages, and Ur, who was wearing Gray's shirt, were standing in front of the mages that wanted Deliora released.

"Like I said, I don't know," Lyon replied, looking each of them at the eyes. "I never heard of the village before today, and the Moon Drip spell was only used to melt the ice, not turn people into Demons."

"How do we know you're not lying?" Natsu asked, crossing his arms.

"They're not," Fox said, already wearing his cloak, hiding his tails, Kurama on his head. "If the Moon Drip was the cause of the village turning into Demons, then Lyon's group should have turned as well. You three as well would be Demons if the Moon Drip is the cause."

Lucy, Gray and Natsu widened their eyes when they realized that what Fox said made sense. Fox walked towards Lyon's group, causing them to look at him warily and in fear. After all, this was the man who defeated the monster Deliora.

"Can you answer me one question?" he said in a polite tone.

"Yes?" Lyon asked, wondering what the question is.

"Did any of the villagers come to the ruins?" he asked. Lyon and his group looked at each other, with most of them shaking their heads.

"No, not a single villager came to the ruins," Lyon replied. "Like I said, we didn't even know there were people here."

"I see…that makes perfect sense," Fox said as he stood back and started walking to the village. "Thank you for your cooperation, Lyon-san. You are free to go."

"What?" most of them said in a confused voice as Fox walked away from them. Only Erza and Ur seem to realize what he meant.

"You're free to go," Fox repeated, turning to Lyon's group. "You may leave the island and start anew now that Deliora is gone. Go and start a restaurant or something. Go on, shoo, and do whatever you want. Oh, and please don't mention anything that happened here. I prefer to keep my involvement a secret."

Before they could ask what he meant, the shadow below him expanded towards his comrades, and Ur, and they were swallowed by it, surprising them. The group looked at the space with wide eyes, wondering what happened.

In the emergency village the villagers set up, the group appeared from the shadows, with Fox, Erza and Ur standing while the rest fell to the ground, feeling unbalanced and dizzy, though Natsu was worst off, with him looking pale and ready to throw up.

"What was that?" Lucy asked as she and Gray struggled to stand while Happy helped the sick Natsu up.

Fox turned around the village, surprise to feel that the villagers were gone. "That's strange…the villagers are gone."

"They are," Erza agreed with narrowed eyes, preparing to strike. "Were they attacked when we were gone?"

"…One of them is coming," Fox said, turning behind. The rest followed and saw a lone villager running towards them.

"There you are!" she exclaimed in amazement. "You won't believe what just happened!"

She hurriedly led the mages towards their village. When they got there, they were shocked to see the village that was melted by acid repaired. In fact, it looked like no damage was done to it. All the villagers looked awe at their home while the mages looked surprised.

"What happened?" Lucy asked in wonder as she looked around. Last time she saw the village, everything was melted. "It's like everything went back in time."

"Back in time…" Natsu mused, narrowing his eyes as he detected a familiar scent.

"…I feel some leftover magic," Fox commented as he looked around the place, and it felt familiar. "Anyway, we figured out your problem."

"What are you talking about?" the village elder with the long earlobes. "We asked you to destroy the moon so we can turn back to human!"

"Yes, that is true," Fox said with a nod. "But there was one thing that didn't seem right."

"Yes," Erza said, walking next to Fox and paced in front of the villagers. "Lyon-san said that he has been on this island for three years, using Moon Drip. A beacon like that would be very suspicious af-."

"Erza-san, watch out," Fox called as Erza stepped on a pitfall trap.

"KYA!" she screamed as she fell in the hole.

"Wow, even Lucy's pitfall was fixed!" Happy exclaimed in amazement.

"Erza said 'kya!' like a girl!" Natsu exclaimed in amazement.

"That sounded cute," Gray commented.

"No! She's going to kill me!" Lucy cried in a panic as Ur looked at them with deadpanned eyes.

"Hahahaha!" Kurama just laughed as Fox helped Erza out of the hole.

"-ter what happened to you," she continued, like she didn't just fall in a pit. "Why didn't you investigate the ruins for the past three years?"

"B-because…because of tradition," the elder replied nervously. "Those ruins are sacred and we are not allowed to go near them in respect of tradition."

"In face of the circumstances, I would find hard to believe you didn't try to investigate due to tradition," Erza said in an accusing manner, causing the villagers to sweat.

"Could it be that every time you tried, you can't?" Fox guessed, causing the villagers to look at him in shock.

"H-how did you know?" one of them asked. "Yes, we did try to investigate the ruins, but whenever we try, we end up back in the village."

"I see…that confirms it," Fox said with a nod before looking at the moon. "Well then, let's go and destroy the moon."

"What!?" Lucy, Natsu, Happy and Gray exclaimed as Fox and Erza stood side by side, looking at the moon.

"This could be interesting," Ur said with a grin as she watched the two mages.

"Wait, are you really going to try?" Lucy asked incredulously. "That's impossible, even for you two!"

"Just watch and learn," Fox said as he and Erza faced the purple moon. "Ready, Erza-san?"

"Yes, I am," she said with a nod as her armor glowed. She was wearing a gold and blue armor which features a barbaric appearance and is adorned with numerous fur trimmings around the armor's joints. The armor is also complemented with blue ornamental stripes over each piece of armor and golden animal-like ears with a blue stripe across each ear. The breastplate features a medallion similar in shape to a four-leaf clover over the armor's collar and displays a blue ornamented cross over her abdomen area.

On her hand was an extravagant looking spear, steel blades adorning the gold center with red, ribbon-like decorations. The rear of the poles features a thick golden stud with a flat, silver surface.

"Will you assist me, Fox-san?" she asked.

"Why not?" he said with a shrug as he gathered chakra in his left hand. "When you're ready."

"They're really gonna do it?" one of the villagers asked in awe.

"We'll finally be human again!" one of them exclaimed in hope.

"Aw man, this is gonna be awesome!" Natsu exclaimed with a wide grin. "They're gonna destroy the moon!"

"There's no way we can top that off!" Happy said with a nod.

"There's no way they can do it!" Lucy exclaimed at them. "And why do you want to top off destroying the moon?"

"Ready?" Fox asked as he crouched on the ground.

"On my mark," Erza said as she aimed at the moon, ready to throw the spear. "Ready…Set…Go!"

Erza hurled the spear up to the sky with all her strength, a mach cone appearing on the tip. When it was in the sky, Fox jumped to the air, leaving a small crater on the ground. When he was near the spear, he punched the rear of the spear, propelling it further and faster.

Everyone watched as the spear flew fast towards the sky in awe. Suddenly, it hit the moon, shocking everyone, causing it to crack.

"I don't believe it!" Lucy exclaimed in shock. "The moon…it's cracking!"

"They did it!" the villagers exclaimed in shock. Suddenly, the purple broke apart, revealing the white moon, surprising them. "What!?"

Suddenly, the villagers started glowing, surprising Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Gray.

"They're glowing!" Natsu exclaimed.

"They're probably changing back to human!" Lucy said as the glow slowly died. To their shock, they didn't change, they were still Demons. "What? But why?"

"As expected," Fox said as he landed on the ground, looking at the sky as Erza changed back to her default armor. "The island was surrounded by a Magic shell needed to perform Moon Drip."

"And it has an unusual effect on Demons," Erza said, causing the villagers, Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Gray to look shocked.

"W-what are you saying?" the villager elder said, still shocked.

"They're saying that you weren't changed into Demons, you were already Demons," Ur explained. "Which explains why you couldn't come close to the ruins, which was a place laced with holy presence."

"Y-you mean…we've always been Demons?" one of them said as they looked at themselves, their expressions slowly turning into recognition.

"Yes, we have," a voice said. They all turned to the gates and saw a Demon with a trimmed mustache with a bandana, brown shirt, pants and purple skin with black spots and a pair of horns.

"AAAGH! GHOST!" Natsu and Happy exclaimed as they hugged each other.

"Bobo…" the chief elder said as he walked towards his son who he thought he killed. "Son…You're alive!"

"Yes," Bobo said with a smile. "I'm sorry for tricking you. But when I saw how you guys thought you were human, I didn't think it was safe for me, so I had to leave and look for help."

"But how are you alive?" Gray asked, narrowing his eyes. "You disappeared, didn't you?"

Suddenly, Bobo disappeared, shocking most if them. They heard some flapping sounds, causing them to look up and saw Bobo with purple wings and a fanged grin. He then turned to the Fairy Tail mages and bowed his head in gratitude.

"Thank you for helping us!" he said as tears of joy leaked from his eyes.

"My son!" the chief elder exclaimed as wings appeared from his back and flying towards his son, hugging him as tight as he could. "I'm glad you're alive!"

All the Demons, finally free of the illusion that they were cursed humans, cheered and flew into the air with leathery wings. The mages watched with awe and fascination as the Demons smiled widely.

"They look so happy," Natsu said with a grin.

"Aye!" Happy agreed.

"They're Demons, but they smile like angels," Lucy said with a smile.

"Hm…How oddly poetic," Fox commented.

"Let's celebrate!" the Demons cheered.

Later…

In less than an hour, a party was happening, made by the Demons as a sign of gratitude to the mages who helped them. Torches were lit, music was being played, flowers hanging like streamers and delicious food was prepared.

Fox was simply enjoying their drinks, which was like sake. Erza was sitting next to him, enjoying the cake, and Kurama was enjoying the food. Gray, Lucy, Natsu, Ur and Happy were sitting next to them too, resting after what felt like a long day. Ur was given a dress made by the villagers, giving Gray his shirt back.

"Hm…Hey, Gray," Lucy said, getting Gray's attention. "You got a wound on your head. It might scar."

"Really," Gray said, touching the place where Lyon's attack hit him. "Oh well, let it scar. It'll be a reminder of how I got it."

"Look, he's so cool," one of the female Demons said, looking at Gray with a blush.

"And handsome," her friend agreed, giggling.

"Tch, don't act so cool, Stripper," Natsu said, eating the fire on the torch.

"Look, he's eating fire!" one of the Demons said in shock and awe.

"He must be a Demon…"

"So, tell me about this Fairy Tail?" Ur said, holding a cup of alcohol, before it was confiscated by her hand. "Hey!"

"You're too young to drink," Fox said as he handed her a cup of juice.

"Young!? I'm old enough to be you're mother!"

"Mentally, yes, but physically…you're a minor," Fox said as he drank the alcohol in one go. "It might be pass your bedtime."

"Why you…" Ur said, a vein appearing on her head.

"So, Fairy Tail is a great place!" Gray exclaimed before a fight could escalate between the two. "There's lots of good people, like Master Makarov! Maybe he'll let you join, I mean, if you want to…"

Gray looked down bashfully, acting like a kid who wanted to show off to his parents. Ur smiled, seeing that Gray grew out of the depressed kid who wanted revenge into a fine young man.

"Sure, I've got nowhere to go," Ur said as she drank the juice.

"You will?" Gray said, excitement in his eyes.

"Yes, it sounds fun," Ur said.

As they celebrated, Fox was still thinking about the lace of magic that surrounded the village. That magic, he knew he felt it before, and he wondered why she was here. He mused as he moved the cup of alcohol away from Ur's reach.

A few miles away from the village, a masked figure wearing a cloak was looking at the village, smirking before disappearing into the night.

"Oh, about that reward, here," the village elder said as he and Bobo walked towards the mages, carrying the large amounts of Jewels, as well as the Gold Key.

"Woah! 700,000,000 Jewels!" Natsu exclaimed, remembering the reward money.

"That's a lot of money!" Gray exclaimed, also happy.

"That's a lot of rent money!" Lucy cheered happily.

"Aye!" Happy cheered.

"I'm sorry, but we'll have to decline," Erza said, shocking the four group. "This mission wasn't official, so we can't accept the reward."

"But still, you have done so much for us," the elder said. "Please accept it as a sign of our gratitude."

"Hm…Well, if you put it that way, we will accept your reward," Erza said as she went and grab the Golden Key. "The Gold Key will suffice, thank you."

Natsu, Happy and Gray were depressed while Lucy cheered that they got the Gold Key. They then kept celebrating while the night was young.

The Next Day…

Everyone from Fairy Tail, as well as Ur, who was wearing new clothes provided by the villagers, were walking to the beach, having bid farewell the Demon villagers. Bobo offered to row them back, but Erza said that they already have a way back, so she kindly declined the offer.

"Fox-kun, what kind of boat did you guys used?" Lucy asked Fox as they neared the beach.

"A pirate ship," Fox replied, and sure enough, there was a pirate ship waiting for them.

"Erza-sama, Fox-sama, Kurama-sama, welcome back!" the pirates exclaimed, happy to see them alright. "We're ready to set sail!"

"Wow, that's impressive," Gray commented as he looked at the ship. "No wonder you guys got here so quickly."

"Well, let's not keep them waiting," Fox said as he, Kurama, Erza, Happy, Gray and Ur climbed on the ship.

"I'm not getting on a pirate ship!" Lucy exclaimed before Natsu patted her shoulder.

"You can swim with me," Natsu said with a grin.

"You're crazy!" Lucy exclaimed.

Soon enough, all of them were in the pirate ship, which started setting the sails, moving back to Hargeon Town, with Natsu leaning near the edge, looking ready to throw up.

At the hills of the island, Lyon, Sherry, Toby and Yuka were watching the ship leave. Lyon was looking at Gray and Ur, a mixture of happy and sad on his face.

"Should you really not go with them?" Sherry asked, looking tearful. "Are they not your family?"

"Yes, this is for the best," Lyon said as he looked at, Gray, Ur and Fox. He then turned to the three who chose to stay with him, a smile on his face. "Say, how do you feel about joining a guild?"

Meanwhile, in the Magic Council Fiore Branch Building, Siegrian was in his office, looking out his window with a smirk on his face. Suddenly, a masked man appeared behind him.

"So, how did it go?" he asked to the man, who removed the mask, and suddenly, the man turned into Ultear.

"Fox is as impressive as we thought," she said with a smirk. "He managed to defeat Deliora with one attack."

"Oh? Well, Deliora wasn't that important to our plans," Siegrian said as he walked towards Ultear, grabbing her chin. "Tell me, how where those Fairy Tail…What's wrong with your face?"

Ultear blinked as her right cheek started swelling like a balloon. She suddenly screamed in pain as she held her cheek, with Siegrian laughing at her predicament.

"Ow…to think it would suddenly hurt!" she said as she remembered the punch Natsu gave her back in the village. "Natsu Dragneel has potential too, but Fox is the one you really need to look out for."

"Let's see how they change the game," Siegrian said as he sat on his desk, smirking. "Entertain me some more, Fairy Tail."

Few Days Later…

The group finally made it to Magnolia after traveling from Hargeon Town. Erza asked Fox why they couldn't travel through the shadows, he replied that he couldn't do it with so many people at long distance. Besides, he enjoyed a good walk back to the guild. Beside him, Lucy was giddy, looking at her collection of Celestial Spirit Keys.

"Can't believe after all that hard work, we just got a little key," Natsu complained, pouting and crossing his arms.

"Aye," Happy agreed.

"Oh well, there's nothing we can do about that," Lucy said cheerfully.

"Easy for you to say, you're the only one who got something from it," Gray commented. "What key is that, anyway?"

"It's the key of Sagittarius, the archer," Lucy explained.

"Sagittarius, you mean like this?" Gray asked, imagining a man with a horse head, carrying a bow and arrow.

"No, more like this," Lucy said, imagining a creature with a man's upper body and the lower body is a horse's, carrying a bow and arrow.

Natsu, however, was imagining a weird creature, with a yellow head with pink petals, a strange, smiley face and a green, leafy body with tentacles.

"…That's neither a man nor a horse," Lucy said with a sweatdrop.

"Well, I hope you're having fun, because once we get to the guild, you will be punished," Erza said. It took a few seconds before they realized what Erza meant.

"Oh no, we forgot we stole that request!" Lucy exclaimed, remembering that little tidbit.

"Oh no, what's going to happen to us!" Happy cried.

"The Master will decide," Erza said, a smirk on her face. "Personally, I hope he does IT…Fufufu."

"True," Fox said, turning to face them. "It has been a while since IT happened to someone."

"What! No!" Happy cried.

"Not IT! Please, just kill me!" Gray cried in panic.

"What is IT!?" Lucy cried, getting scared.

"Don't worry," Natsu said in an easy-going tone, grinning. "The gramp loves me. I'll talk to him about all this."

"I don't think you should do the talking," Lucy said with a deadpanned expression.

"Oh no, there's no escaping it," Erza said with a smirk directed at Natsu. "I can't wait for IT."

Natsu just grinned before he slowly started paling and sweating profusely. He then tried to run, but Erza grabbed him by the foot and started dragging him back to the guild.

"No! Anything but IT!" he cried as he clawed on the ground.

"What is IT exactly?" Ur asked. Kurama flew down towards her and whispered something to her ear. "Oh my…I feel sorry for you."

"What's gonna happen to us…" Lucy cried as Gray and Happy followed

The group walked further into Magnolia, right to where their guild was located. Fox noted that the people seemed to be giving them strange looks, and he could feel their pity.

"Something's wrong," he commented and quickened his pace, surprising them.

"Fox-kun?" Lucy asked as they quickly followed him.

When they finally reached sight of the guild, they gasped at what they saw. The guild was a wreck, pillars of metals protruding through the walls and roof, the symbol trashed on the ground, the board carrying the name destroyed.

"Our guild!" Gray exclaimed in shock.

"What happened?" Erza said in silent anger.

"W-who did this?" Lucy stammered in shock.

Happy, Ur and Kurama just looked at the building in shock while Natsu glared at what happened to their guild.

As for Fox, he was releasing red aura as his body shook from anger.

"Fox, calm down," Kurama said, feeling his partner's anger.

"Who did this…?" he asked silently, his voice distorted.

"It was Phantom Lord," a voice said right next to them. The group turned and saw Mirajane walking towards them with a sad look on her face. "They attacked our guild during the night."

And ending it here. Well, that happened, the group came back from their unofficial mission from Galuna Island, and came back with a new member, but came back with a destroyed guild building, and that pissed off Fox. Wonder what's going to happen next?

Well, next chapter, war between Fairies and Phantoms. See you later!
