It was early Sunday Morning, March 16, 1986 in the Loud House. The sun was rising and the roosters were crowing. Inside Lori and Leni's bedroom where she was sleeping steadily and soundly in their bed. Lori was snoring as her alarm clock ticks. The alarm then sounds when it hits 6:30. She wakes up, but she was unaffected by the annoying sound, and Lori having a smile on her face, turns it off and she jumps out of bed and happily throws her curtains open to get some fresh air.

"Wow! Today's that big day! I gotta wake Lincoln up!" Lori said happily before went to Lincoln's room to wake him up.

In Lincoln's bedroom, he was sleeping soundly and holding on to his Bun-Bun, when Lori slowly opens the door and comes in with a big smile on her face. She then kneels down to Lincoln and spoke softly to him, "Rise and shine, sweetie!"

Lincoln then wakes up and slowly opens his eyes to see Lori with a sweet look on her face.

"Good morning, Lincoln," Lori said sweetly to Lincoln as he yawns.

Lincoln then yawned and asked Lori, "Good morning, Mom. I'm just happy that you woke me up."

"Guess what, Lincoln? Today's my big day! But I'll explain it to you all when we have breakfast after our quick shower," Lori explained.

"Uhhh... okay, Mom" Lincoln replied before he yawned again

With that, Lincoln got out of bed and he and Lori both started getting ready for their big day by getting themselves a quick shower together. After getting a quick shower, they both dressed up in their normal attire. Afterwards, everyone was at the dining room table having a big breakfast, with their plates filled with bacon, eggs, toast and sausage.

"Oh, boy!" Lana shouted happily.

"I can smell this big breakfast right in front of all of us!" Lynn shouted happily.

"Wow. This is such a big breakfast this morning!" Luna shouted happily.

"Dig in, everyone!" Rita replied and they get ready to eat but Lori stops them.

"No, don't dig in yet!" Lori shouted.

"Lori, are you serious?" Rita complained.

"Before we start eating, we are going to say Grace. Everyone, get with me and bow your heads," Lori commanded and they all then say grace, "Dear Lord, as now we break the fast, we thank thee for the night safe passed. Now grant safekeeping on our way. Good cheer and strength and health all day."

"Amen."

They all then get back to their normal sitting position.

"Okay, we're all ready to eat now," Lori complied and they all then start eating their breakfast, while they're eating their breakfast, they are amazed at how delicious they are.

"Mmm, mmm, mmm. This is a delicious breakfast," Lincoln said happily.

"Yeah, our parents make us a stunning breakfast," Luan said happily.

"Well, eat up, everyone, because Lincoln and I have a big day planned ahead," Lori said as the family continues eating their breakfast for the next 10-15 minutes.

After they finished their breakfast, the kids thanked their parents for the morning feast and Lynn and Luan assisted Lynn Sr. with the cleaning by washing the breakfast dishes. After they cleaned up, everyone dressed up in their normal clothes and gathered around in the living room for something very important.

"All right, we got to be in top physical condition for today, Lincoln. It's very important," Lori explained.

"Yes, Mom. Let's get everybody together!" Lincoln replied.

Lori then clears her throat before she presents the important meeting.

"Okay, everyone! Let's get together now! Now I know you want to have time to yourselves. But guess what, everyone? This here is extremely important for the family. Do any of you know what is going on right now?" Lori asked them.

"Is there a big workout competition going on?" Leni asked.

"No, Leni. There is not a workout competition going on," Lori responded.

"Or how about a big April Fools Prank-pocalypse?" Luan asked.

"No, Luan. No prank apocalypses! They'll hurt the townspeople," Lori responded.

"How about a football championship?!" Lynn asked.

"Lynn, no! No football championships!" Lori responded angrily.

"How about another pretend funeral?" Lucy asked.

"Lucy! Enough with the goddamn pretend funerals already!," Lori started raising her voice.

"How about a gator wrestling tournament?" Lana asked.

"NO! NO ALLIGATOR WRESTLING! THAT'S NOT HAPPENING!" Lori responded furiously.

"Another big rock concert?" Luna asked.

"NO!" Lori was about to lose it.

"Maybe another nice beauty pageant?!" Lola asked.

"Or how about a big science fair?" Lisa asked.

Or a family road trip?" Rita and Lynn Sr. asked.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Lori screamed and they were all shocked by Lori's sudden outburst, "GOOD GOD, EVERYONE! CAN'T YOU ALL BE PATIENT WITH ME AND LINCOLN... FOR ONCE?!" Lincoln then raises his hand. Upon that, she becomes soft and sweet again, "Oh, Lincoln. You raised your hand. Do you know what's going to happen?

"Well, you're getting a job, Mom?" Lincoln asked nervously.

"Yes, Lincoln. That's right. I'm getting a job so I can make some real money," Lori said happily but the family gasps upon that statement, "You all heard what I said. I have been dreaming of getting myself a job somewhere in this town. And the one place I've been dreaming about working at is the fabulous Gus's Games & Grub, a fascinating pizzeria blended in with such a radical arcade of super-cool games. Just imagine being employed there as a waitress."

"Wow. That's quite lovely," Luan said in surprise.

"Yeah, so rad, man!" Luna said in surprise.

"Can't wait to see you working there!" Lynn said happily.

"Well, I have to say. This is very impressive to say the least," Lucy said happily.

"Yeah, you gotta make sure you're all set for the job, Lori," Leni informed Lori.

"Don't worry, Leni. I will," Lori replied as she and Lincoln then get their things ready. After they got their things ready, they both then prepare to head out the door, "Well, Lincoln. Are we ready to get that job?"

"Yep. You, Mom, have always got the bigger part!" Lincoln replied happily.

"All right! Let's go!" Lori shouted happily.

Outside the house...

"WE'RE READY!" Lori shouted before she and Lincoln fling the door open and run outside and onto the way to Gus's Games & Grub.

"We're ready! We're ready! We're ready! We're ready! We're ready! We're ready!"

Suddenly, they run right past Bobby and Ronnie Anne.

"Go, Lori, my babe!" Bobby shouted happily.

"Go, Lincoln!" Ronnie Anne shouted happily.

"You go, bros!" Luna shouted happily.

Later, Lori and her son Lincoln were now standing in front of Gus's Games & Grub, amazed by the sight and looks of it.

"There it is, Lincoln. One of the finest establishments ever established for eating and playing. Gus's Games & Grub, Home to a fascinating pizzeria mixed in with a precious arcade, with a nice lovely "Help Wanted" sign on the window. For the past two years, we've been dreaming of this moment. We're gonna go in there, march straight to the manager, look 'em straight in the eye," Lori looked the viewers in the eye, "lay it on the line and..." but she changes her mind a bit, "...figure out what I should do right now."

Suddenly, Leni shows up behind her with Luna.

"Lori, just what do you think you are doing?" Leni asked coldly.

"Look, Leni, I was just about to..." Lori was about to confess.

"Lori, you already told us what will happen. You're both going to Gus's Games & Grub and you're both going to get that job and that's that!" Leni explained coldly.

"Leni, look, I take Lincoln wherever I go. We're like a family! Nobody should be left behind," Lori confessed.

"Hey, sis?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, Luna?" Lori answered.

"Whose first word was "literally?" Luna asked.

"Mine was," Lori answered.

"Who took a white-haired boy in as her son when he was six and she was twelve?" Luna asked.

"I did," Lori answered.

"Who's a... uhhh... who's... uhhh," Luna grimaces and contorts twice while trying to come up with a good third line, "Ah, and who's a beautiful young mother with beautiful blonde hair and often wears a trench coat around town?"

"I am!" Lori answered.

"And who's the coolest white-haired boy who is the adopted son of the beautiful blonde-haired biggest sister?" Luna asked.

"I am!" Lincoln answered.

"Who's ready?!" Leni and Luna shouted happily.

"We're ready!" Lori and Lincoln shouted happily.

"Who's ready?!" Leni and Luna shouted happily.

"We're ready!" Lori and Lincoln shouted happily.

"Who's ready?!" Leni and Luna shouted happily.

"We're ready!" Lori and Lincoln shouted happily.

"Let's go get that job, Lincoln!" Lori shouted happily.

"Yeah, Mom! Gainful employment, here we come!" Lincoln shouted happily.

"That's the spirit, bros!" Luna shouted happily.

"Yeah, go get 'em, guys! We're counting on you both!" Leni shouted happily.

"Thanks, girls! You're the greatest! Come on, Lincoln! We've got a job to be sign up for!" Lori said happily as she and Lincoln both start running toward Gus's Games & Grub, "We're ready! We're ready! We're ready! We're ready! Go, Loud Family! Go, Loud Family! Go, Loud Family!"

Inside Gus's Games & Grub, the owner Gus Gamesngrub was washing a table when he hears somebody running towards the workplace. It happens to be Lori and Lincoln running up towards the place to get the job and be employed.

"Wow. Two people running in to get a job! I gotta warn everybody about this!" Mr. Gamesngrub shouted happily before he heads to the middle of the place to warn everybody, "Hey, everybody! We have got two new people that are getting ready to employ for duty! They'll be coming in very shortly!"

Lori and Lincoln then come inside the place.

"Permission to come aboard, Captain! We've been training for the past few years for the day that we could join the service. And now we are ready to be employed," Lori said happily.

"The Man and Mother with a Plan are here for a job," Lincoln said happily as he and Lori both head towards Gus with happy looks on their faces.

"So, boss. When do we start?" Lori asked.

"Well, isn't that your little boy there?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked.

"Mm-hmm, that's my son, Lincoln. He'll prove that he and I will both be valuable workers here at this pizzeria and arcade," Lori confessed.

"Hmmm. Okay, all right, then. Lori. Lincoln. We're gonna give you both a test. And if you both pass, you'll be part of our Game and Grub crew," Mr. Gamesngrub explained, "Now follow me to the kitchen, lads. We're gonna prepare you for some serious cooking skills here and see how you both cook. I'm up for a little taste test today."

"Huh?" Lori said in shock.

"Cooking?" Lincoln asked nervously.

Lori and Lincoln were now in the kitchen wearing their restaurant uniforms with some brand new spatulas in their hands.

"So, this is our kitchen. It's where all our food here is cooked," Mr. Gamesngrub explained.

"Hmmm. This kitchen is... kind of in rough shape," Lori said nervously.

"That's because it's a little worn out, Lori. Things get worn out as they get older. But beside that, this kitchen has everything that you and Lincoln need for cooking food," Mr. Gamesngrub explained as he presents the two new employees what the kitchen has, "We got the grill, it's in fair shape by the way, a nice fresh hot dog roller, great for roasting wieners, a beautiful air fryer for making fries, mozzarella sticks and even some fresh pizza bites and of course a lovely vending machine perfect for ice and soft drinks."

"Wow," Lincoln said in surprise.

"So, our test is gonna be how we cook something here. Is that right?" Lori asked.

"Yep. I'm gonna be seeing how you cook the food here. And once you're done cooking. I would like to see how it tastes. The cooking test will start... now!" Mr. Gamesngrub called and he leaves the kitchen, and Lori and Lincoln get themselves ready to cook some good food.

"All right, Lincoln hon. Are we ready to cook some food?" Lori asked happily.

"Yep! It shall help me out for when you and I prepare meals for our own family!" Lincoln said happily.

"That's the spirit, sweetie! Now let's get to it!" Lori said happily as they got to work, "All right. Let's get to work."

They then started by getting out some hamburger and hot dog buns, which means that they're going to make some hamburgers and hot dogs. Lincoln then pulls out some beef patties and a couple of wieners.

"Hmmm, yeah, patties are very important for this kind of food. And so are the wieners," Lincoln said to himself as he places the wieners in the roller before putting the patties on the grill.

"Okay, patties on the grill and wieners in the roller. Perfect. Hey, Lincoln, I think you should watch the hot dogs, okay? I'll watch the burgers so I can make sure they come out right," Lori replied.

"Sure thing, Mom," Lincoln complied as he heads to the hot dog roller to watch on the hot dogs while Lori watches on the burgers. Lincoln got some of the things ready to put on hot dogs, including some shredded cheese, diced onions and hot dog chili as he got them set up and ready to be put on the hot dogs.

Back at the burger grill, Lori makes sure a tomato is perfectly aligned as she carefully slices the tomato with the spatula, "Tomato slice is aligned perfectly. Very important when making some fresh cheeseburgers."

Back at the roller, Lincoln is carefully cooking the wieners on the rollers as he makes sure they're cooked right, "Okay. Hot dogs should be rolled perfectly."

Lori, at the grill still, patiently waits for the patties to cook on the grill as she flips them on the other side, "Okay, one side on both patties are easily cooked."

Back at the roller, Lincoln takes a few wieners off the roller and places them in buns and prepares to add cheese to them.

Lori, who was now at the condiment stand, puts ketchup on two pickles to apply faces on them. She then applies a cheese "blanket" and kisses a pickle starts reading, "Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."

Lincoln finishes making the hot dogs, having already placed them in buns, and added ketchup, mustard, and shredded cheese to the hot dogs.

"Now this is what a real hot dog should look like. Plenty of cheese on top with a bit of diced onions and some chili on it, too," Lincoln replied as he finished by adding chili to the hot dogs.

At the same time, Lori gently puts the top buns on her cheeseburgers.

"Perfect. Are we ready for them to taste our food?" Lori demanded happily.

"Yep," Lincoln replied as he and Lori both place the burgers and hot dogs on a plate.

Outside of the kitchen, Mr. Gamesngrub was waiting patiently, "Hmmm, I wonder how Lori and Lincoln are doing?"

They then exit through the kitchen door with a plate of their hand-cooked hamburgers and hot dogs.

"Order up!" Lori called in happiiness.

"My goodness. What are those on that plate?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked in surprise

"Lincoln and I cooked up some fresh cheeseburgers and chili dogs," Lori explained.

Mr. Gamesngrub then takes one of the chili dogs that Lincoln made.

"Hmmm, maybe I should try the chili dog first," Mr. Gamesngrub examines the chili dog, "Wiener cooked just right. Plenty of chili and cheese on top, and... Ooh. Some diced onions on here, too. I'm in on the wiener."

He then starts eating the chili dog and begins to like it.

"So, what do you think of my chili dog, boss?" Lincoln asked.

"Yum. This is delicious, lad. You make some delicious hot dogs," Mr. Gamesngrub replied before he burps, "Oh, and how about the hamburger that uh... Lori made?

"What? Oh, you mean, the cheeseburger I made?" Lori corrected.

"Yeah. I'd like to try it out," Mr. Gamesngrub replied as he takes the cheeseburger that Lori made and started eating it. While he eats it, he becomes very happy and starts to really like it, "Mmmm. Why this food you made tastes so good, that I'd like to try a second bite of both the hamburger and the hot dog," he then takes another bite of both the cheeseburger and chili dog, "Mmmm. So good and delicious. Quite a rare delicacy, too."

"So, boss. How is our cooking? Do you like it?" Lori asked with concern.

"Mmmm. Wow, your cooking skills are fabulous. Therefore we concede to you, Lori and Lincoln Loud, as our new beloved employees here at Gus's Games & Grub," Mr. Gamesngrub bowed to them and the employees cheer, and suddenly, a customer comes in which happens to be a young girl named Jordan.

"Oh my, are those some new employees here at Gus's Games & Grub?" Jordan said in surprise.

Several of her friends including Clyde join in with her and head inside.

"Quiet, employees. We got some customers coming," Mr. Gamesngrub informed.

"Wow. You must be the new employees here," Mollie explained.

"Yes, we are. We've just been accepted," Lori replied.

"Wow, Lori. You and Lincoln would make great employees here at this pizzeria," Clyde commented.

"Huh, how did all of you get here?" Lori asked in surprise.

"Hey, Lori. I'd like two chili dogs for me and Dana with a serving of nachos for both of us," Carol suggested.

They all started getting out some money and started waving it in the air as more people started entering waving money up high in their hand.

"I want a fresh cheeseburger with extra crispy fries!" Whitney suggested.

"I want some fresh sausage and pepperoni pizza with extra mozzarella sticks!" Mollie suggested.

"I want some fresh chili dogs with curly fries!" Margo suggested.

"Two fresh burgers for me and Arturo, please!" Maria suggested.

"Yeah, serve them extra well!" Arturo suggested.

"I need two cheeseburgers now with extra fries! Save one for Luan!" Benny suggested.

"I want some cheese pizza with extra mozzarella sticks now! Sam suggested.

"I'm starving! I want some two freshly cooked hot dogs with extra mozzarella sticks!" Jordan suggested.

"I want two cheeseburgers with extra pickles, please!" Francisco suggested.

"One sausage pizza for me and Harold, please!" Holly suggested.

Lori and Lincoln then look at one another.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Lori asked.

"I sure am, Mom. Let's cook them lots of food," Lincoln replied.

"Whooooo's hungryyyyy?!" Lori shouted and everyone cheers in response, "All right, let's get to the kitchen and get cooking!"

They all cheer for the two new employees. Cue Tiny Tim's "Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight" as Lori and Lincoln enter the kitchen and prepare to serve lots of meals for the hungry customers, including frying up the burgers and hot dogs, cooking up pizza, serving nachos and mozzarella sticks and soft drinks.

"Things that bother you never bother me, I feel happy as pie, a-ha, Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight, having a wonderful time"

Next scenes show Lori and Lincoln prepping up the condiments and preparing the cheese sauce for nachos and marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks.

"Haven't got a lot, I don't need a lot, coffee's only a dime, living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight, having a wonderful time"

As some time passes, they prepare more of the foods as well as stylizing the hot dogs, hamburgers, pizzas, nachos and mozzarella sticks.

"Just take it from me, I'm just as free as any daughter, I do what I like, just when I like, and how I love it!"

Next scene shows them setting up the hamburgers, hot dogs and slices of pizza with sides of nachos with cheese and mozzarella sticks. They then start launching them through the order window to a hungry customer and starts ordering the meals to the hungry meals.

"I'm right here to stay, when I'm old and gray, I'll be right in my prime, Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight, having a wonderful time.

As the song prepares to finish, numerous meals are launched through the order window to the hungry customers. Eventually, all of the customers are served and they leave the restaurant in pure happiness and joy. Lori then launches the last of the hamburgers and fries to Whitney as the song ends.

"Thank you, Lori and Lincoln! You're the best!" Whitney said happily as she left.

Lori and Lincoln then blow on their spatulas.

"All in a day's work," Lori said happily.

Later, in the main dining room, Mr. Gamesngrub was amazing with what Lori and Lincoln did in the kitchen.

"Wow, my goodness. That was absolutely the greatest foods-man-ship I have ever seen from you both. Lori. Lincoln. Welcome aboard, you two," Gus said happily as he gives Lori and Lincoln nametags, each with their name written on them.

"Wow. After all this time, we finally got ourselves a job," Lori said happily.

Three cheers for our new employees here at Gus's Games & Grub, Lori Loud and Lincoln Loud!" Gus said happily with the employees.

And they started cheering for the new employees, "Hip-Hip!" "Hooray!" "Hip-Hip!" "Hooray!" "Hip-Hip!" "Hooray!"

"Thank you, everybody. I'll be in the quarters, counting up the money I've earned from their precious cooking skills," Gus replied as he wheels a wheelbarrow piled with an enormous stack of cash to his office.

"Wow. I'm really going to enjoy working here at this pizzeria and arcade," Lori said happily, "This is like a dream coming true, Lincoln."

Suddenly, one of the family members, Lynn Loud Jr. enters the pizzeria.

"Well, good day to you, everybody!" Lynn greeted as she entered.

"Oh, Lynn. It's you. Would you like to play or have a little bite?" Lori asked happily.

"Just came here for a bit of a munchie, Lori," Lynn replied.

"Oh, okay then. What would you like to order, Lynn?" Lori asked happily.

"One cheese pizza please," Lynn suggested .

"Time to get to work again!" Lincoln commanded.

"Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight" starts playing again as he and Lori run back to the kitchen and they both start serving up pizza for Lynn.

"What the...?"

Unexpectedly, a score of pizza slices and hamburgers are immediately fired through the serving place. Suddenly, it collides with Lynn and send her flying out of Gus's Games & Grub. The scene then cuts to the exterior, with Lynn screaming as she is being flown out the restaurant/arcade along with numerous crashing noises going on.

"Mr. Gamesngrub! Mr. Gamesngrub! Mr. Gamesngrub, come see your new employees!" an employee screamed.

"I'm right here to stay, when I'm old and gray, I'll be right in my prime, Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight, having a wonderful time"

When the song finishes, it transitions to around 6:00 P.M. when Lori and Lincoln are seen leaving the restaurant, with happy looks on their faces, given that they enjoyed their first day at work.

"Bye, Mr. Gamesngrub. We'll see you again soon," Lori waved happily.

"Bye, hope you enjoyed your first day at work," Gus thanked as they left the restaurant.

Later, they were on their way home in time for dinner...

"Well, it looks like Lincoln and I finally got ourselves a job at Gus's Games & Grub. This means that we can finally be able to get paid every Friday. Oh, and I also forgot to mention that we take off Saturday and Sunday pretty much, so yeah. It looks like we're all set for a nice bright future ahead," Lori said to the viewers before she and Lincoln both head towards the front door of their house and she opens it, "Well, we better get moving, Lincoln. Don't wanna be late for Salisbury Steak Sunday dinner."

"Me either, Mom. It'll be great," Lincoln said happily as they head inside the house and Lori closes the door behind her.
