It was April 28, 1986 in the Loud House. Lori was doing something that was part of her parental duties of Lincoln and Lily while Bobby had some errands to fill for his mother Maria. Lori was in the kitchen washing dishes as she placed all the clean plates and bowls in nice stacks. And while she was placing the last stack of plates she was greeted by her sister Lucy.
"Hey, Lori," Lucy greeted Lori.
"Oh, hi Lucy," Lori greeted Lucy before suddenly, she slips on a splash of water and fell breaking the plates, "Oh dear..."
"So what's your excuse?" Lucy asked.
"Well, since I'm the only sibling who's old enough to drive, I figured I'd help teach Leni how to drive. I also figured I'd help Luna wash the dishes," Lori said as she saw the broken dishes on the floor, "Though, something tells me I might be a little late for the driving instructions."
"Why would you take someone like him on a date anyway?" Lucy asked.
"I heard that I've been dating him for the past 6 years now. What about you?" Lori explained.
"I wrote a poem for your ten week anniversary for taking me to the cemetery. It's called "Bobby," Lucy explained and read her poem, "Bobby, I thought you were a stalker, When you left brownies in my locker, Bobby."
"Uh. That's very nice Lucy," Lori replied, "Well, I'm going back to my room. Perhaps I can appoint another date with him sometime either this week or next week," Lori said as she walks upstairs to her room, and finds Lincoln talking to Leni who was in an unhappy mood right now. She continues to walk to Leni when Lincoln notices her.
"Where you going, Mom?" Lincoln asked.
"I was seeing if I can take you and Lily out one night. Maybe I might have something that doesn't involve anything breaking," Lori said as she picks a piece of a broken plate out of her hair, "Ouch."
"What if I told you that there was a way to drive you anywhere you want to go, without doing any medial task?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm listening," Lori replied.
Later, Lori, Leni and Lincoln were in the living room playing Total Turbo on the NES. Hoping it will teach Leni how to drive. Lincoln puts the cartridge into the NES console and gives Leni the steering wheel controller.
"Wow! It's just like a real steering wheel!" Leni said in surprise.
"That's right, it's called a steering wheel," Lori replied, "So, you ready to get started?
"But Before we get started, I need my special driving outfit!" Leni said as she goes to change into her special driving outfit and makes a couple of poses. Lori takes a photo of one of Leni's poses.
"Ooh! She is looking hot and ready for the test," Lori commented.
"Great. So, can we get sta..." But Leni interrupted him.
"And I'll need my special driving smoothie, too, so if you'll excuse me..." Leni said as she goes to the kitchen to make a smoothie before coming back to the couch and taking a sip, "Soy pumpkin cookie crumble cream. It's pretty seasonal if you ask me.
"Great. So, now can we..." But Leni interrupted him once again.
"Excuse me! Aren't you gonna open the door for me?" Leni said bitterly as she takes another sip of her smoothie.
Lincoln sighs and pretends to open a car door with the sofa as the car, "Click! Creak!"
"What a gentleman," Leni said as she sits down and The game starts.
"Okay, all you have to do is keep the steering wheel straight, and you'll..." But as soon as Leni starts playing, she crashes into the wall and the game is over, "Leni, no. Not like that." Lori said in fear.
"Um...let's try again," Lincoln said as Leni chooses to continue, "Just keep the wheel straight," Leni crashes again, "Okay, one more time," Leni continues, "The road is straight, so keep the wheel straight," but Leni didn't listen as she crashes again and the player jumps out of the car and it explodes, resulting in yet another game over and Lori was irritated by her incompetence.
"Agh! Leni! You have to stay on the road!" Lori said suspiciously before Leni tosses controller in frustration.
"But, what's the point? We're not going anywhere fun!" Leni said bitterly.
"Let's move this along..." Lori clears her throat, "Actually Leni, we're going to the mall."
Leni suddenly bursts into happiness and takes the controller back, "Why didn't you say so?"
"GAME ON!" The announcer said NES-Digitized-Speech style.
This time, Leni plays the game like a pro with words of praise such as "Good!", "Holy Cow!" and "Damn, Girl!" appear on-screen.
"Wow! Go, Leni!" Lincoln cheered for Leni.
"Yeah, you get them, Leni!" Lori cheered for Leni.
"Move it, twerp! Leni needs a new driving dress!" Leni shouted as she drives off a billboard and moves ahead; gets to the mall at the end of the level and beats Lincoln's high score.
"That was incredible!" Lincoln shouted in happiness.
"Yeah! This is such a thrill!" Lori exclaimed in happiness as Leni has her virtual NES self punch an old lady.
"Outta my way, twerp!" Leni shouted before Lincoln takes away the controller.
"Easy there fast and furious," Lincoln explained.
"BUT I HAVE TO GET TO THE MALL SO I CAN GET A DAMN JOB THERE!" Leni angrily yelled.
"Look, Leni. The mall can wait," Lori denied, "You've got a driving test to pass!"
With that, Leni smiles and heads out the door.
"Go, Leni, go! Go, Leni, go!" Lori and Lincoln cheered but they notice Leni went in the wrong direction.
"Leni! The bus stop is that way!" Lori shouted as Leni turns around and heads the other way.
Go, Leni, go! Go, Leni, go!" Lori and Lincoln cheered but moments later, Leni was escorted back home by a cop. You can tell things did not go well. The cop handed citations labeled "Crazy Mall Chick", "Incident Report", "Forgot the speed limit", "Didn't use the turn signals", "Hijacked test vehicle", "Assaulted Instructor Jelinski", and "NOTE: Culprit is dangerous". Mrs. Jelinski was in the police car yelling at Leni for her maniacal driving.
"Uggghhhh! It's not fair! When I did all that in the game, I won! You twerps need to get your rules straight!" Leni shouted bitterly at them as she storms upstairs and slams her door closed.
"Well, thanks for trying together. But, you know, I guess there are some people who just can't be taught," Lincoln complied as he also heads upstairs.
"B-B-But wait! This can still work," Lori said in fear but Lincoln and Leni had already left upstairs. Then Rita and Lynn Sr. appeared from the dining room after hearing everything that happened.
"So that's your plan, huh? Teaching that "workout girl" to drive?" Lynn Sr. denied to Lori and Lincoln, "Pssh, yeah right. That's not gonna work, you two!"
"In fact, Leni can't even drive a lawnmower," Rita added.
"What?!" Lori said angrily to her parents.
Flashback to when Leni tried mowing the lawn.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! MAKE IT STOP! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Leni panicked as she drove the mower through the hedges.
Flashback ends.
"Trust me, Lori. You're gonna fail. You, Lincoln and Leni altogether," Lynn Sr. said sternly to Lori and Lincoln before he and Rita started looking for Luna.
"Lynn, where's Luna? She owes me a pedicure," Rita asked Lynn Sr. as they looked for Luna.
"This isn't over yet, you two," Lori shook her fist at her parents since she and Lincoln were determined to teach Leni how to drive. They went to Lori and Leni's room to see Leni going back to making Lori's bed.
"Hey, Leni. What are you doing?" Lincoln asked Leni.
"Going back to making Lori's bed, now get out of my room while I finish, twerp!" Leni replied coldly to Lincoln.
"But Leni, that's some nice craftsmanship. But you can't give up on driving. It was our fault you didn't pass the test," Lori said in fear.
"Maybe I'm just not meant to be behind the wheel. You know?" Leni asked bitterly.
"No. See, our video game approach on our Nintendo was all wrong. Let's try a different method," Lincoln said as he holds up an instruction manual.
"Wait! Lincoln, I'll take it!" Leni recalled.
Later, he and Lori have set up a pretend car test for Leni to practice on, "Okay, lesson one: preparing to drive."
"Ah, we're teaching Leni to drive again?" Lori asked nervously.
"Yes, Mom. But this time, we really need assistance," Lincoln explained.
"Can I help?" Lori suggested, "I'm sick of Mom and Dad sanding their own calluses and making Leni fail! Ugh, barf!"
"Me too," Lucy replied, "I can't write another poem for Bobby. I've run out of words that rhyme with 'babe'.
"Oh, Thanks, guys..." Lincoln responded.
Suddenly, all of the other sisters come in wanting to help Leni learn to drive and get out of doing tasks for Lynn Sr. and Rita.
"I can help!" Lola shouted.
"I'll help! I'll help!" Luna shouted.
"Me, too! I wanna help!" Luan shouted.
"Me me me me!" Lana shouted.
"I want to help too, Lincoln!" Lynn shouted.
"I can be of assistance," Lisa said as Lori with a feather duster entered.
"Are we really doing this again? Haven't Mom and Dad already established us that Leni can't drive, and she can't be taught!" Lori said in fear, "I really don't think I want a part of this too much."
"C'mon, Lori. You wanna take Lincoln out on another night out with Bobby, don't ya?" Luna asked.
"And all this work for an escort is really getting tiring," Lana said.
"And she can take me out to sports games on occasion," Lynn added.
"C'mon Lori, you can't be mad at Leni 'cause she drived you crazy," Luan laughs.
"All were sayin' is give Leni a chance," Luna begged as the kids came up to a stern Lori and they all smiled at her with hopes in their eyes.
"Promise me this will go well?" Lori said sternly to everybody.
"Trust me, Mom, this time our plan is foolproof," Lincoln said eager.
"As long as the fool doesn't crash and burn like last time," Lori said, "What have we got to lose?"
"Great! Now guys, we need to set it up like a real car," Lincoln commanded as they gather up some of their things and do as he and Lori told them.
"Thanks, guys! Luna's bass drum is the brake. And Luan's whoopee cushion is the accelerator," Lori said as she puts her foot on them to demonstrate their uses.
"Accelerator? Don't you mean gas?" Luan said suspiciously.
"This golf club's the gear shift. The wreath is the steering wheel. Car horn, turn signal, and...oh! These keys..." Lincoln said as he grabs Lily's baby toy keys, "...are, well...the keys. Got all that?"
The others smile in hope.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it now," Leni said.
"That's what we'd like to hear, now first, fasten your seat belt. Lola!" Lori called.
In response, Lola puts some of her beauty pageant sashes on them to simulate the seat belts.
"Well, that was easy," Leni said to herself.
"Next, check your mirrors," Lori explained.
"Why? Do I look bad?" Leni said in an angry tone.
"No, no, no, no. I meant..." Lori said.
"Wait! I forgot something!" Leni recalled before she ran off and everyone else groans.
"Good god!" Lori said in fear.
Leni comes back now wearing a helmet, "There! Now that's much better," Leni said bitterly, "That way it can help me get to driving for real."
"Lesson 12: Avoiding road hazards. There's a squirrel in the road. What do you do?" Lincoln asked as Lily walks in dressed in a squirrel costume and makes squirrel chatter sounds before Leni gets out of her side and screams in horror. Eventually, it seems hopeless as the others seem to have already given up.
Use your turn signal!" Lori shouted as Leni taps Luna's drum, "No, that's the brake!" Leni taps Luan's whoopee cushion. "No, that's the gas!" Leni slaps Lori, "Leni, that's my face!" She points to the ladle, "This! This is the turn signal, dammit!
"Ahhh, yes! The turn signal! And it is just right by the wheel," Leni replied as she points to the wreath.
"The spinny..." Lincoln realizes, "Wait a minute! Mom, what exactly did you say to Leni last time?"
"I said we were going to the mall," Lori explained.
"That's the problem! I haven't been speaking like Leni!" Lincoln said nervously.
"Why? There isn't a country named after me!" Leni said bitterly.
"No, he means that we haven't been using words you understand," Lori said sternly.
"Let me try again. Use the turn signal," Lincoln said as Leni nods with a rattle sound effect and flips the turn signal.
"Good. Now turn left," Lori said but Leni doesn't know, "That means turn to your good side," and Leni gets it and turns to her good side, "Now we're getting somewhere! Hey, crew, we're gonna need some new car parts."
So the kids replaced everything with shoes and boots, things only Leni understands.
"This is a break pedal. What does the break pedal do?" Lincoln asked but Leni doesn't know, "White shoes after Labor Day!"
"Ew, stop!" Leni said in disgust.
"Exactly," Lincoln said.
"I gas you won't be needing this," Luan said as she takes back her whoopee cushion but Lola scowls painfully at Luan's pun and hands Lori and Lincoln a Go-Go boot.
"This is the gas pedal. What does the gas pedal do?" Lori said but Leni doesn't know.
"I got it! Boots from the 60's." Lincoln commented.
"Go-Go!" Leni screamed.
"Yes! Leni, I think you're ready for the next level!" Lincoln commented.
Later Leni's skills were put to the test as she was on lawnmower.
Now, remember what we practiced, Leni!" Lori shouted happily.
"Go-go boot!" Leni shouted as she accelerates, "White shoe!" She stops for a squirrel to pass, "Go-go boot!" Leni accelerates, heading for the hedges.
"Leni! Watch out!" The siblings shouted in fear.
"Good side!" Leni said as she turns left in the nick of time. Everyone starts cheering for her.
"She's doing it! Yeah, nice job, Leni!" Lincoln shouted.
"I'm doing it!" Leni said as she starts to feel happy that they are teaching her how to drive a lawn mower.
"Wow, she finally knows how to drive a lawn mower," Lori said happily.
In the basement of the house, Rita and Lynn Sr. had to do the laundry for Lori.
"Good god, those stupid clothes!" Rita said as she pulls them through the door only for them to fall on top of her.
"Rita, where is everybody?" Lynn Sr. asked his wife before he called for Luna in an angry tone, "LUNA ELISE LOUD! WE'RE STILL WAITING ON YOUR MOTHER'S PEDICURE!"
But suddenly, he and Rita hear the others cheering outside and finds out that Leni has improved so much, that she can now sign her name on the lawn but their parents were absolutely angry, livid and furious.
"Lynn, we are not going to let Lori give up the car keys that easily..." Rita said angrily.
"You're damn right, we aren't, Rita!" Lynn Sr. agreed in anger, "We're going to make sure Leni fails her next driving test tomorrow!"
Later that night...
"Night, Leni! You're gonna do great tomorrow!" Lincoln said as he climbed into Lori's bed.
"I really hope so," Lori said as she climbed into her bed with Lincoln.
"Night, Lincoln! Night, Lori!" Leni said as Lori and Lincoln are fast asleep together in her bed and Leni puts on her sleeping mask and reaches for the lamp switch.
"Click," Lori replied.
"Got it!" Leni commented before she goes to sleep.
Soon afterwards, Rita and Lynn Sr. comes into the room as they were now determined to make sure Lori remains the only sibling who can drive. So therefore, Lynn Sr. and Rita both slip a fake driving instruction tape over Leni's ears to ensure that she will be doomed to fail.
"Never check your mirrors. Always comment on your driving instructor's weight. In America, we drive on the left side of the road," Rita's recording said as Rita and Lynn Sr. go back downstairs to their master bedroom with sinister grins on their faces with Leni and Lori being none the wiser.
April 29, 1986
The next day, Lori, Lincoln and Lily were waiting for Leni to get back from her driving test, unaware of what happened last night. Rita and Lynn Sr. then came by with a load of Lori's clothes alongside some of theirs and Lincoln's clothes, who were confident about their nasty trick on Leni.
"Oh! Hey, Mom. Hi, Dad," Lori greeted.
"Don't even give us that look, young lady!" Lynn Sr. said in an angry tone to Lori, "Shouldn't you give that young man of yours a ride to the comic book store?"
"Oh, and lavender sheets. Don't forget," Rita demanded as she and her husband handed them some of their clothes.
"No, thank you though," Lincoln said as he hands the clothes back to Rita and Lynn Sr, "I think we'll wait for Leni to get back from taking her driving test, with her new license.
"I really hope she'll pass," Lori agreed before Lily gave a raspberry at the parents meaning she agrees with them.
"Lori, Lincoln, for the last time, Leni is not going to pass!" Lynn Sr. said angrily to them as he passes them some clothes, "Now get to washing, you two! Now!'
"Actually, I'm pretty sure she will pass," Lincoln said as he passes them back.
"Yes, Lincoln. I hope she does," Lori agreed.
"No, she won't! Because your father and I made sure of it!" Rita said angrily to them before she grabs a sweater with a wolf howling at the full moon.
"Wait, guys, stop! So please help us! Please don't shrink Mom's favorite Daddy sweater!" Lincoln said in fear.
"Yeah, you two! You both need to shape up, otherwise I will shrink one of your shirts in the dryer if you don't tell us what you did!" Lori said bitterly to her parents.
"Okay! Okay! All right!" Lynn Sr. said as he and Rita decided to tell them what they did, "All right, look, Lori. Your mother and I might have sabotaged Leni by giving her bad driving instructions while the three of you slept last night, but it's just because if Leni can drive, her room will never be clean and no one will ever need you or Leni for anything ever again!"
"Ahhh. So that's why you wanted me to remain as the only one who drives," Lori said sternly to her parents, "Well, that wasn't part of the plan.
"Don't worry, Mom. No matter what it's like, Lily and I will always be there for you," Lincoln said sympathetically.
"Really, Lincoln?" Lori realized.
"Yeah. I always will," Lincoln said as he and Lily hug Lori.
"Awww. That's my sweet little family," Lori said sweetly as she hugs them back in response.
Lynn Sr. and Rita's looks then soften a bit as they come to the three of them, feeling something warming up in them a bit.
"Look, Lynn and I know wer were kind of sarcastic but what if our bad driving instructions make Leni crash? What if she gets hurt?" Rita asked but Lori and the kids are shocked by this statement.
"WHAT?!" Lori raised her voice towards her parents.
"We got to get to the DMV!" Lincoln shouted as Lori busts out the keys. Then the three were rushing to the DMV to find Leni not totally hurt.
"Leni! Oh, thank goodness, she's okay," Lori said happily.
"And maybe she passed!" Lincoln said nervously.
Unfortunately, the same cop from before arrives meaning only one thing... "No, I'm afraid she didn't," the cop replied with reason, "She drove on the wrong side of the road, neglected to check her mirrors and commented on the driving instructor's weight!"
Lori then got really pissed off as she started shaking her fists, knowing that her parents did something bad out of jealousy.
"Well, that makes 14. Guess I'll have to drive a lawnmower forever," Leni said, heartbroken as they got home.
"Look, Leni. It wasn't your fault," Lincoln replied, "You just got to make sure that you always check your mirrors, never comment on your driving instructor's weight and drive on the right side of the road."
"Yes, it was. You worked so hard to help me pass, but..." Leni said dejectedly, "I blew it. I was just thinking about all the fun places I would drive us to. The mall, the comic book store, my friends, even the tavern... And it was all because Mom and Dad sabotaged my driving test out of jealousy."
As Leni laments at her failure, Lincoln felt extremely guilty for Leni's unexpected follies. Meanwhile, she started to get really angry as she realized that Lynn caused her to fail again.
"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" Lori cried.
"Please, Lori. Calm down," Rita said before Lori got angry at her parents
"Mom, Dad! What the hell did you do?!" Lori yelled at her parents.
"I, uh... well, your mother and I may have sabotaged Leni's driving test," Lynn Sr. replied.
"GRRRRRRRGH! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Lori yelled at her parents furiously before she slapped both of her parents in the face, "Why?! Why would you do this, Mom and Dad?! I can't believe you sabotaged Leni's test just so you could make her fail again!"
"HOW COULD YOU MAKE ME BLOW MY CHANCE OF GETTING A DRIVER'S LICENSE?!" Leni yelled at her parents.
"It's like she went to go buy the dress she knew you wanted," Lincoln said angrily in agreement with Lori and Leni.
"Look, we're really sorry, Leni. But your father and I just didn't want to make Lori give up those car keys that easily," Rita tried to explain but...
Leni immediately started losing it and started yelling at her parents some more, "GRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! I HATE YOU, MOM AND DAD! YOU BOTH RUINED MY CHANCE OF GETTING A DRIVER'S LICENSE! THAT WAS DISRESPECTFUL OF YOU BOTH TO DO SO! I WISH YOU NEVER SABOTAGED MY DRIVER'S TEST IN THE FIRST PLACE!"
Once Leni finished, she ran inside to the dining room, shedding tears out, meaning that her parents have betrayed her, Lori then turns to her parents before she does anything else.
"Mom! Dad! Both of you! Straight to your room! Do not even think about coming out! You are both grounded for sabotaging Leni's test! Do I make myself clear?!" Lori said sternly to her parents as they give in.
"Yes, Lori. I guess this means your father and I will be in our room if you need anything," Rita said dejectedly as she and Lynn Sr. walk inside to their room, knowing that they are grounded for sabotaging the test. Lori then looks back to Lincoln and Leni.
"It was really nice of you to help Leni practice for her next test, Mom," Lincoln said dejectedly.
But Lori realizes something turning around inside her head, "Wait a minute! I think I have an idea that might change all this!"
"You do?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah. I know the perfect place where she'll take it," Lori said as she walks inside the house to the dining room where she saw Leni crying her eyes out.
Lori then came up to Leni and decided to speak with her, "Leni, wait! I retract my earlier statement!"
"What? What do you mean?" Leni said in surprise as she had mascara running down her cheeks.
"I think I know the perfect place where we'll teach you how to drive," Lori said happily.
"Really?" Leni asked.
"Yeah! Come with me. I'll show you," Lori said as she took Leni with them.
Sometime later, the three were now in an old abandoned road outside of town and Lori is driving while Leni and Lincoln see two crows cawing.
"Lori, why are you taking me to an old abandoned road outside of town?" Leni asked Lori.
"To overcome your fears of driving, Leni," Lori explained as they pass a skeleton pointing left and it falls apart.
"It's not working!" Leni said nervously.
"Here we are!" Lori said happily.
"Uh, where are we?" Leni said nervously.
"This old abandoned road shall be the perfect venue for your driving test," Lori explained.
"Dr-iving test?!" Leni said nervously.
"That's right! You're free from all the distracting obstacles on our very own driving course," Lori said as she stops the van, "Out here, there's nothing but the road, "She gets out of the van, "Now, scooch over," but Leni doesn't since she's afraid, " Come on, Leni. Scooch over," Lori lifts up the seat and wiggles it until Leni is behind the wheel.
"But Lori, what about the fact that I'm unable to drive?" Leni said nervously buckling her seatbelt, "Mom and Dad told you guys that I would never make it."
"Forget all about that. Out here, you can teach someone like you to drive," Lori explained.
"Lori, I'm still intimidated!" Leni said nervously.
"Listen, Leni. If you're nervous about driving, simply repeat the words: "Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road." Got it?' Lori informed her.
"O-o-okay," Leni said as she takes the wheel, "Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road. Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road. Uh, focus on the road, there is nothing but the road," and she presses the gas pedal and covers her eyes. Focus on the road," before uncoving her eyes," There is nothing but the road. Hey, look at me. I'm not crashing and burning."
"Wonderful! Keep that up and you'll have your driver's license in no time at all! Just make sure you repeat your mantra." Lori explained.
"Focus on the road, the open unintimidating road," As Leni says this, they ride on a curved road.
"Driving within the lines," Lori said as she checks said rule off her list, "Well done, Leni. You're getting the hang of it."
"Focus on the road," Leni said as she activates the turn signal, van turns left, "There is nothing but the road."
"Finally using your turn signal, woohoo!" Lori said as she checks off "uses turn signals," "Check."
"Focus on the road," Leni said as she drives the van on a circular road, "there is nothing but the road."
"Roundabout navigation, check!" Lori said as she checks off said rule.
"Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road!" Leni said as she presses the gas pedal slightly harder, speeding the van up just a bit.
"Safe and steady acceleration, check!" Lori said as she checks off said rule.
"Focus on the road..." Leni said as she drives the van up a mountain, "There is nothing but the road," she drives the van through snow on top of the mountain and drives down it back to the road. Lori checks off "Vertical driving".
As time went on, Leni continues repeating the mantra several times as she drives the van over loopy roads and even under the road as well. She also makes the van jump a gap, and even ducks under a garbage truck.
And therefore, a psychedelic moment of her driving begins: First, she drives on what looks like a mobius strip. Then she drives over a road with another Leni under it. Then, she drives up a curvy road with a Marshmallow-Man like face, which swallows the van. The camera pans upward to a Saturn-like planet, and Leni jumps out of the planet and drives along its ring-like road. The rings break and Leni flies, acting like she's in a trance. The same goes with the van driving as Leni's head is at the bow before the van drives around the inside of another Leni, while at a real-life road. Finally, a skull rises, Leni's mouth is in its eye sockets before its road-tongue rolls out, and Leni skates out, wearing cars as roller skates. She jumps off, spins, and falls.
Back to reality, as it turns out that they were going back into Royal Woods.
"Check...check...and...CHECK! and Ooh, what is this?!" The camera zooms to the only rule not checked off on Lori's list: Safely dock vessel, "Only one more test, and it's the easiest one yet. Leni, all you have to do is safely dock this vessel." Lori said to Leni who was still repeating the mantra. She is sweating and drooling, and her eyes are hypno-like.
"Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road. Focus on the road, there is nothing but the road. Focus on..." Leni said to herself.
"LENI!" Lori shouted and got Leni's attention.
"Ahhh! What do I do now, Lori?" Leni screamed.
"Calm down, Leni," Lori informed, "Listen. all you have to do is safely stop this vessel!"
"Uh...focus on the road, there is nothing but the road!" Leni said to herself.
"Just stop the van!" Lori exclaimed.
"Ahh! All right!" Leni shouted as she steps on the brakes, and suddenly the van comes screaming to a stop near the Department of Motor Vehicles.
"Goodness gracious. There isn't a scratch on this vessel," Lori said as she checks off the last rule, "Leni?"
"Yeah?" Lori asked.
"The test is officially history! You, you finally passed! Time to get your license!" Lori said happily.
Leni smiles and sheds a tear, "At last, I finally learned to lighten up."
Inside the DMV, Lori, Leni and Lincoln are at the front.
"Hey, Mrs. Jelinski," Lori greeted.
"Oh, hey Lori. What are you here for?" Mrs. Jelinski asked.
"Guess what just happened? I taught Leni how to drive and guess what we got for the results?" Lori asked happily.
"What is it?" Lori then shows the results to Mrs. Jelinski, showing that Leni got a perfect score. Mrs. Jelinski becomes proud, "Oh my goodness. Lori, I had no idea you were a great driving instructor towards her," Mrs. Jelinski said happily, "Leni, you are now officially a driver."
'Yep. That's right, Leni. It's time to get your driver's license," Lori said happily.
Scene cuts to the license registration building.
"Stand behind the line, Leni," Mrs. Jelinski said.
"How do I look?" Leni asked.
"You look perfect," Lori replied.
"Ready?" Mrs. Jelinski asked.
"Ready," Leni responded bravely.
Mrs. Jelinski takes a picture of Leni smiling. Once the picture is taken, a banner comes down which says "CONGRATULATIONS" on it. Balloons and confetti fall as Leni gets her new driver's license.
"Oh my," Lori said in surprise.
"Congratulations, Leni. You are now officially the one millionth person in this town to pass the test," the man on TV announced.
"Oh my god! For real?" Leni shouted excitedly, "What did I get?!"
"You have officially won a brand-new automobile. The all new Ford Mustang SVO. The ultimate car in all of Royal Woods, Michigan," the man on TV announced as Leni runs up to the new automobile.
"Wow. Such an elegant design for a car like this," Leni said happily.
The man on TV then continued, "Men will want you," and the men sigh, "Women will want to be you," the women all faint in response, "And you'll be the envy of your friends."
"I can't believe it finally happened," Lincoln said and Lori agreed as Leni was now inside the new Mustang.
"Isn't this amazing? I finally got my license and a new car," Leni said happily.
"I'm so happy for you," Lori said sweetly as the horn suddenly blows in her and Lincoln's face.
"Wow. Talk about a "loud" horn," Lincoln laughs, "Get it, Mom?" Lincoln said as they both laugh together.
Later, Leni was now driving in the new car like normal with Lincoln riding along with her while Lori took the van home.
"Woo! This is the greatest day ever. Right, Lincoln?" Leni said happily.
"Yep, I can't think of one thing that would make your day better than to finally get your license," Lincoln agreed.
"Yeah. And I have to say, it's a lot faster than walking somewhere. This is a timesaver," Leni said happily.
Back at the Loud House, Leni has parked the new car up to the driveway next to Vanzilla. Lincoln gets out of the new car with Leni.
"Hey, Leni. Thanks for the ride," Lincoln thanked Leni.
"No problem, buddy. You can't help being a... pedestrian most of the time," Leni explained.
"Don't worry about it, Leni. Let's go back inside and see what they're up to now," Lincoln said as he and Leni went up to the front porch where Lori was already standing.
"Hey, guys! Come in! We've got a big surprise for you both!" Lori said happily.
Meanwhile, as the three go inside, they realize everything in there is dark.
"Okay, so why is everything dark?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, I can't see a thing," Leni said.
"Not to worry, I got it handled," Lori said as she flips the switch, turning on the lights when suddenly... "SURPRISE!" The trio screams in shock. The entire family is there to congratulate Leni on finally getting her driver's license.
"Congratulations, Leni," Bobby said excitedly.
"You are now officially a driver like Lori," Lynn said excitedly to Leni.
"Ohhh, you guys are the best," Leni said sweetly as she walks up to them," You can definitely thank Lori and Linky for helping me pass the test."
"I'll have to say, sis. It looks like you're taking one step closer towards being a legal adult," Luna said sympathetically.
"And now I finally got myself a driver's license," Leni said happily as she shows them her new driver's license.
"Hey!/Wow!/That's great!" They all replied.
"Hey. We're sorry we sabotaged your test earlier. And by the way, We deserved to be punished sabotaging your test," Rita said dejectedly.
"Hey, it's all right. Lincoln and I saved the test for her," Lori said sympathetically, "And I'm very happy that I was able to do what a responsible parent like me does around the house."
"See, Lori's speaking out the truth," Leni agreed.
"Come here, Leni," Lori said sweetly as she and Lincoln hug Leni and she hugs them back.
"Thank you all for keeping my hopes high," Leni said sweetly as the whole family also hugs Leni together, including the parents whose look has softened up.
"Well, Lori? I guess you and Bobby and the kids will always be like a family forever," Lynn said sympathetically.
"Yeah, I guess we always will," Lori said sweetly.
"Yep. We're best siblings towards one another forever," Leni said sweetly as the whole family continues hugging Leni together.
