It was Saturday, May 10, 1986, a day like any other in the Loud House. For Lori, it was a perfect time to go out and spend time with her siblings and even Lincoln. As in this case, Leni and Lori were getting ready to go out for a shopping spree.
"Hey, Leni. Thanks again for letting me come with you to the mall today," Lori replied.
"Gee, thanks Lori. I can't wait to pick out a new coat for you in case if it starts raining again," Leni said.
"What's wrong with the coat I'm wearing?," Lori said nervously, "It looks perfect on me."
"It needs a new style. Those coats are so last season," Leni said as she and Lori pick up their purses but she then checks hers," Okay, let's see, I have my driver's license, I've got my credit cards, so I'm good to go."
"What about our shopping list? And Lincoln? Oh, god. I must not forget about him," Lori said as she rolls her eyes around.
"The purse, women!" Lisa said as Leni checks her purse one last time. Leni and Lori walk downstairs.
"Culottes, jeans, pom-pom sweater," Leni said.
"Going shopping, you two?" Lincoln asked.
"Not just shopping. Reininger's is having a huge two day, 25% off blowout sale, and I made up a dream shopping list for it," Leni said happily.
"Leni's taking me there pick out new clothes for me and her," Lori said happily.
"Yay, new wardrobes!" Leni said happily.
Lori then turned to Lincoln with a sweet and soft voice, "Oh, and Lincoln. Since Leni and I are going to the mall, it looks like you're gonna have to come with me as well. No child of mine is going to be left alone without someone looking after you."
With that, Lincoln heads over to Lori and hugs her.
"Gee, thanks, Mom. We're all going to the mall together," Lincoln said happily.
The three of them leave, as their siblings bid them ado.
"Shit, where did I put my purse?" Leni said in an angry mood
"Seriously?" Luan asked.
"Check your arms," The sisters said in unison as they return their breakfast.
A few hours later, they are in their regular clothes eating lunch.
"We're back," Leni said off-screen.
The siblings look in shock to see that Lori, Lincoln and Leni have been beaten up as they are with their messed up clothes and bruised everywhere.
"Are you okay, guys? Did you wrestle a bear?" Lana asked them.
"Oh... I wish I was wrestling a bear! Because that would be less torturous then the massacre at Reininger's!" Lori said nervously as she looks to Lincoln, "There were grabbing and pushing and even trampling! So much trampling! I tried to get some clothes. But they just wanted it more!"
"Wait, you didn't get any stuff?" Lynn said nervously.
"Well, you know how shoppers can be!" Leni said as she sounded like she was growling, "Sometimes, they can be a very grabby and pushy and clawy and shovey!"
"And tramply as well!" Lori said exhaustingly as she lies down, "Damn..."
"Ah, wait, did you let a bunch of greedy bargain hunters take your stuff?!" Lola asked.
"Pretty much, yeah," Lori said nervously.
"Don't worry, Lori. I'll just make new clothes with my old ones. To the sewing machine!" Leni shouted as she goes upstairs. Lori then gets up and heads to the couch to watch some television with Lincoln.
"Poor Leni. This always happens," Lori said as she gets out the TV remote.
"I have to agree, Mom. She's too nice for her own good sometimes," Lincoln agreed.
"And very mean and aggressive at other times," Lori said as Lola takes the remote from Lori and starts channel surfing, "Wait, it's not her fault, you guys. Those shoppers back there are totally brutal! It's better just to let them have what they came for and not cross them."
"And while we're on the subject, you can be a bit of a pushover too, Lori," Lana explained.
"What?!" Lori explained nervously.
"It's true. You and Lincoln are even nicer then Leni," Lynn said.
"So what?" Lori scoffed, "That doesn't make either of us a couple of pushovers along with Lily!"
"Yes it does. Every time you and your kids wanted to have some time together, one of us wants to use it and you just let us," Lynn explained.
"So what? Lincoln and I were just being nice," Lori said.
"Just like you were nice when you let someone cut in front of you in line every time you were waiting all those hours for the new John Ruby book to come out?" Lynn asked.
"Those people were too excited. I can understand. John Ruby is a very popular book," Lori explained in a stern manner, "And besides I still got the book... The next day when they restocked!"
"That proves it, Lori! You and Lincoln are the biggest pushovers in this family!" Lola said to Lori.
"Indeed, your submissive nature makes you easy prey," Lisa said before Lucy takes the remote from Lola.
"Much like the baby wildebeest of the Serengeti," Lucy explained.
"Shut up! The kids and I can be as aggressive as any of you! Watch and learn!" Lori yelled as she takes the remote from Lucy and she hisses at her. She then gives the remote back to Lucy frightened.
"See? You and Leni both need to know how to be a little tougher," Lana explained.
"A little meaner," Lola said as she gets into a fist fight with Lucy over the remote.
"More aggressive," Lynn said as she joins in on the fight.
"I WANT THE REMOTE!" Lola yelled at Lucy as the other sisters, except Lori and Lily, join the fight.
"Give me that remote back!" Luan screamed.
Lincoln also wasn't in the fight, but manages to grab the remote anyway and use it.
"More like us," Lincoln answered.
"I'm not sure I'm gonna like where this is going, Lincoln..." Lori said nervously.
Cuts to Leni sewing something in her room with her mother's old sewing machine while her siblings come in pushing Lori and Lincoln.
"Leni, how would you, me and Mom like to go back to that sale tomorrow, and get everything you wanted?" Lincoln asked.
"That's okay. I'm fine. Lincoln. Lori, come here," Leni said as they both approach her, "Do you both want to know what I just did?"
"What is it that you want to show us?" Lori asked.
"Yeah, Mom and I want to know," Lincoln said as Leni shows what she's sewing.
"I turned this nightgown into a pair of jeans!" Leni explained.
"Geez, Leni. Now you don't even have a nightgown," Lori said which causes Leni to realize that she doesn't have a nightgown anymore.
"Oh, that's just great!" Leni said as she gets some other jeans, "Well, I can make one out of these other jeans!" Leni said as they shake their heads.
"Guys, this isn't necessary, All right? I can be sort of aggressive but I do have maturity inside me! I've been in this family for seventeen years and I've had Lincoln's parental duties for the past five years and Lily for the past year and a half ever since she was born," Lori explained, "And to conclude it, we all have got around just fine."
"By not getting into any fights or quarrels and finding good compromises for them," Lisa explained.
"Yeah, you guys need to learn to stand up for yourselves," Luan said as she proceeds to sit Leni down.
"Yeah, you don't wanna be wilted-beets in the spaghetti!" Lana explained.
"Hmmm, that's close enough, Lana," Lisa explained.
"But don't worry, we're to teach you how to become more assertive, decisive people!" Luan explained.
"Well, okay. If you guys want. I'm just happy when you're happy," Lori explained.
"We have a lot of work to do," Lincoln sighs and said despondently.
"Guys, for the last time, I am fine!" Lori said.
"Uh, no you're not, Lori. You need to learn to stop letting people push you around! You need to be more aggressive!" Lola said.
"I am not a PUSHOVER!" Lori yelled as she got more aggressive to Lola.
"Yeah! Like that!" Lola said.
"Fine, I'll do it! But only so I can go back to that sale tomorrow with enough costumes both regular and kid sized!" Lori said aggressively.
"Kid sized?" Lincoln asked.
"For Lily. We're planning a little getaway with Bobbythis weekend," Lori explained.
"Enough! Let's just get this over with..." Leni said angrily.
Later, outside the bathroom...
"Tomorrow, you're going back to that mall as a new Leni. And the new Leni, doesn't let people cut ahead of her in line," Lincoln demanded.
Leni nods, and Lori, calls out to everyone, "Ten, hut!"
The other sisters are lined up along the wall, Luan approaches Leni.
"Now, you're number one in the bathroom line. Don't let anyone make you number two," Luan said.
"I don't!" Leni said bitterly and coldly, "But fear not! No one's gonna cut!"
"Alright, Lori. This is your chance to get in that bathroom. You go in there and fight Leni for first in line!" Lynn explained.
"But she has the bathroom first and I can..." Lori said nervously.
"You can nothing! The new Lori doesn't care who's first in line unless it's her!" Lynn explained as she pushes Lori up front, "Now go!"
Lori decided to start acting, "Hey! I need that bathroom! I drank a jumbo Flippy and I got to let it loose!" Lori said in fear.
"Oh, you poor thing! Go right ahead!" Leni said sympathetically.
"Oh, thank you," Lori said sympathetically as her sisters all groan.
"Alright. Step aside and watch a pro do it. Lynn, your assistance," Lola explained.
"I'm in a hurry, Lola! Let me cut!" Lynn screamed but Lola growls as Lynn tries to cut, but Lola starts attacking her, "Ow! How are you so freakishly strong?!" Lola then started pinning Lynn down.
"I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE THE TASTE OF FLOOR, ATHLETIC BITCH!" Lola yelled.
"Tackle, pin, catchphrase. Got it!" Leni said bitterly as she took notes and Lori looked on in concern.
Later, out in the backyard, the kids, minus Leni, Lori, and Luna, pile some clothes on a table.
"Second lesson. The new Lori and Leni aren't afraid to go after what they want," Luna replied, pointing to the table, "There's some rocking threads on that clearance table, but you got major peeps blocking your way. What are you gonna do, dudes?"
"I'll tell you what I'm gonna do! I'm gonna go in there and get what I want!" Lori explained.
"Yeah!" Leni cheered as the two march up to the table with serious looks on her faces.
"Hey, you! Get out of our way!" Lori said angrily.
"Why don't you make me?!" Lynn yelled at her.
"OH YEAH?!" Lori shouted.
"Yeah!" Lynn shouted.
"WELL, BRING IT ON, ATHLETIC ASSHOLE!" Lori shouted at Lynn.
Cue the hard rockin' music as Lori cracks her knuckles a bit before she gets into a serious brawl with Lynn and they both start fighting each other. Lincoln then watches Lori fight Lynn while eating popcorn.
"Wow. Mom sure learns fast," Lincoln said to himself.
"You can say that again, bro," Luna replied.
A few moments later, Lori comes out flawlessly and Lynn is left with a black eye and a sprained arm.
"Ow," Lynn said in pain while Lori blows on her hair a bit.
"All in a day's work," Lori said softly.
"All right. That was a wrap. Let's see if Lens can do just what Lori did," Luna said before Leni politely taps Lynn on the shoulder but in a very harsh manner.
"So sorry, would you mind moving?" Leni said in a stern tone as she tries to find an opening, "No? Fine! I can wait until your ready!" Leni walks away, as her siblings at the table sigh and Luna pushes her back.
"Yo, LJ, show her how it's done," Luna explained.
"With pleasure," Lynn said as she runs off, and returns wearing her football helmet, "Hut, hut," Lynn paints black lines on her face, "Take a hike!"
Lynn rampages her siblings like football, spins a sweater over her head to celebrate, and starts doing a victory dance on it, much to Lori's charging.
"Hey! Bobby gave me that sweater!" Lori shouted as she shoots Lynn a dirty look.
"Run, block, do a dance. Got it!" Leni said to herself while taking notes.
Cuts to the kitchen.
"Third lesson. Protecting your property," Lucy said as she hands Leni a flashlight, which Leni snatches from her.
"The new Leni doesn't let greedy shoppers steal her stuff," Lucy explained.
"And the new Mom takes what's hers," Lincoln said to them.
"That flashlight is one that Lori had since she was a kid. Your goal is to hold on to it, no matter what," Lana explained.
"Hmmph! Here's your stupid flashlight, bitch!" Leni said bitterly as she gives Lana the flashlight, "Maybe I can just use a spare lantern if we have one!"
"Leni!" The sisters replied that as they put her back in the chair.
"Put yourself first!" Lana explained.
"Jesus, Leni! Are you learning anything?" Lori asked before Lynn takes the flashlightand goes to the other side of the kitchen.
"I'll show you how it's done. Lori and her kids have been protecting their junk from us for seventeen years, eleven years and a year and a half respectively," Lynn replied as she holds on to the flashlight real tight with her hands, "The key is to use a good, firm armpit grip. Alright, come at me!
"Listen! Enough is enough. All your doing is making us be as selfish and greedy as you guys! And I won't be a part of this anymore! I'm out of here!" Lori shouted as she exits the kitchen.
"Typical, Lori. Always chickening out with Lincoln when the going gets tough," Lynn said before Lori stops mid exit and turns around to give a death glare at Lynn.
"What the hell did you just say in front of me?!" Lori said angrily at Lynn.
"I'm saying you've gone soft, you're too nice and kind to ever get what you want," Lynn replied.
"I. Am. Not! A PUSHOVER!" Lori started yelling.
"Yes you are! You and Lincoln are nothing but big nice softies," Lola agreed.
"No I'm not!" Lori yelled more.
"Yes you are!" Lynn shouted back.
"Stop it!" Lori shouted angrily.
"But it's true!" Lynn said angrily.
"NO IT'S NOT!" Lori shouted.
"Yes it is..." Lynn denied.
Lori growls furiously and began to think back all of her sibling said to her previously.
"You and Lincoln are the biggest pushovers in this family..." Lola explained.
"Your subversive nature makes you and your son both easy prey..." Lisa said.
"Always chickening out..." Lynn said.
"Face it! You and the kids are nothing but big nice softies," Lola agreed with Lynn.
Lori couldn't take it anymore. She grew so angry she screamed at the top of her lungs, " THAT'S IT!" She began to attack Lynn, "GIVE ME THAT FLASHLIGHT!" She yelled as she brutally fought Lynn for the flashlight as she protected what's hers.
"Armpit tuck, fall on floor, protect vital organs," Leni said to herself as she took notes before she leaves without saying anything else. The fight cloud then stops to see that Lori came out with the flashlight in her hand and Lynn on the floor bruised and tattered. The other siblings applauded at Lori's performance.
"Wow! Mom, that was awesome! "Lincoln said in surprise.
"I knew you had it in ya!" Lana cheered.
"She gets that from me you know," Lola replied.
"So how do you feel, Mom?" Lincoln asked Lori.
"I... feel great actually," Lori said happily, "I can't believe that I finally got what I wanted after all. Ha! I feel like Leni and I can both take on all the shoppers!"
Lynn weakly got up and approached Leni.
"That's the spirit! Ow. Got it yet, Leni?" Lynn said to Leni.
"Uh-huh," Leni replied now in a good mood to Lynn, "Look out, customers! Leni Loud is going to come after you!"
Sunday, May 12, 1986
The next day, Leni, Lori, and her siblings are waiting in the line at Reininger's.
"Thank you guys for all of your help. I'm so excited about the new Leni! Just one question: Where did the old Leni go?" Leni asked before just then, Miguel shoves in front of Leni and Lori like they're not even there and her siblings are not happy.
"Hey! No fair!" Luna shouted.
"Hey! No one takes our spot and lives!" Lori yelled angrily as she and Leni attack him the same way Lola did to Lori the day before and pin him to the ground.
"I hope you like the taste of floor, bitch!" Leni yelled as she starts knocking some of the mall visitors in anger.
"Yeah, Leni! That's it! Let's give them a piece of our mind!" Lori shouted.
"That's how to explain that you're queens!" Lola yelled as Miguel runs away.
Meanwhile, one of the store employees nervously opens the doors, and everyone starts rushing in. Leni and Lori look at each other with determination and rush in. Leni makes her way to a swimsuit section, but sees a bunch of other woman taking the swimsuits, "Hut! Hut! Take a hike!" Lori and Leni shouted as Leni shoves the women out of her way to reach the swimsuits. She gets one and starts doing a dance, with Lincoln and Lynn joining in.
"Woo! All day long, baby!" Lynn cheered.
Meanwhile, Lori searches for costumes at a store and sees two girls going for it. Lori angrily charges at them, "Move it, twerps!" she yelled as she shoves the girls out of the way and and grabs the costumes, "Yeah!" She then sees the crowd of angry kids in front of her, "Hey, kiddos?! Y'all want some of this!?" The kids attack and Lori took on all of them.
Meanwhile, Leni grabs a sweater of the rack, and some lady tries to steal it from her, but Leni grabs it.
"Hey! It's mine! Don't even think about it, twerp!" Leni shouted angrily as Hip checks the lady into a pile of clothes.
It then cuts to a montage of Leni and Lori grabbing clothes before others could get to them and puts them in her bag. The siblings watch Leni dragging two girls for a sweater, who also has a grip on it, but Leni takes it from them. The girls start attacking Leni, but she ends up winning and is later seen twirling the sweater around.
"Yaaaay! They all cheered for Leni and Lori.
Leni and Lori are now at the check-out line and they walk over.
"You guys rocked!" Luna shouted cheerfully.
"Yay, Leni!" Luan cheered.
"Way to go, Lori!" Lynn cheered.
"You crushed it!" Lana cheered.
"Thanks guys. Hard to believe I could get any of my shopping done without your help," Lori explaind.
"Ah, we got to celebrate. Pretzels and sodas. On Lincoln," Lynn explained.
"Wait, why me?" Lincoln asked.
"Thanks, Lincoln. Meet you guys at the food court," Leni said as the siblings leave while a guy cuts in front of her, an obnoxious guy who cut in front of her earlier addresses this.
"I wouldn't do that," the obnoxious guy said as he points to Leni and Lori, but he turns around, sees Leni preparing to bull charge him.
"You better run for your life, you little twerp before I TURN YOU INTO A HUMAN PRETZEL!" Leni screamed angrily but Lori gasps at her upon what she said.
"Leni! Did you just say...?" Lori said in surprise.
In response, the guy makes a run for it, Leni smiles at this and high fives Lori, while the obnoxious guy just keeps to himself.
Later, with the siblings at the food court.
"Wow. Leni and Lori really malled the competition," Luan said happily.
"People are going to think twice before crossing them," Lucy replied.
"We changed their lives," Lola shouted as she raises her soda, "To us!"
"To us!" They all said as they clink their sodas together.
Later, with Leni and Lori.
"Oh, you're right Leni," Lori said as she goes through her clothes, "This new magenta turtleneck shirt is perfect for me!"
"I know right! You look literally adorable!" Leni said sweetly.
Lori hears crying from the distance, "Huh?" she said when she looks over and sees a teenage girl about her age crying with her mother there to comfort her.
"I'm sorry you didn't get that dress you wanted, hon," a mother said sadly.
"It's not just that!" a teenage girl whimpered, "Some mean girl pushed me and called me a bozo!"
Lori started to look extremely guilty and regretted what she did.
"Oh my God. What have we done, Leni? We've tried to be assertive and we ended up becoming a couple of big bullies. I have to make this right," Lori said guiltily, "Leni? Hold my place in line for me. All right?"
"Okay, Lori," Leni said as Lori leaves her spot in line with her bag and runs up to the teenage girl.
"Ah! There she is!" the girl said as she hides behind her mother, "Don't let her get me, Mommy!"
"No wait! Just Let me explain!" Lori said in fear.
"Now you listen here, young lady! You have no right to push around my daughter like that!" the unnamed mother said to Lori.
"I know. And I'm really sorry! I didn't mean any harm. It's just that my siblings wanted to teach me how to be aggressive and I was completely out of control," Lori said as she goes into her bag and pulls out a dress, "I believe this will make up for it."
"My dress!" the teenage girl said happily as she takes it from Lori, "Thank you!"
"You're welcome," Lori replied.
Meanwhile, back at the line, Leni said as she was going through her clothes, Leni then pulls out a top.
"This top is perfect for a cozy Saturday," Leni said before she pulls out the sweater, "Hmmm, yeah. Maybe this sweater will look so good with my new nightgown jeans."
Leni puts it back only for Mrs. Parker to appear behind her.
"Are you sure you don't have any more of those polka-dot swimsuits?" Mrs. Parker asked the clerk before she clerk shakes her head, "That's all my granddaughter wants. Well, that and for me to live forever but I can't promise that."
Leni saw that she had one and decides to call to Mrs. Parker, "Here!" She called bitterly at first as Mrs. Parker walks up to her, and Leni takes her suit out and started saying softly and sweetly, "You should probably go ahead and take mine.
"Oh my, you angel. Amy will be so happy," Mrs. Parker said as she take it and walks off, and another woman walks past but notices Leni's sweater.
"That sweater is so cute, where'd you get it?" the woman said as she admires the sweater.
"I think this was the last one," Leni explained.
"Oh, it's hard finding sweaters that won't give me what my doctor calls 'Category Five Rashes," an unnamed woman said happily, "That's me, allergic to almost every fabric that is within the sweaters. Well, enjoy it."
"Wait! I can't imagine how awful that would be," Leni said as she offers her the sweater, "Here, just take mine and get it over with."
"Aw, that is so sweet, the woman said as she takes the sweater, "Thank you."
Just then, a guy runs past and drops his credit card. Leni picks it up.
"Excuse me, is your name "American Bank"?" Leni asked someone.
"Oh my stars, I am so stressed about finding a tie for my anniversary, that I must've dropped it." the tie guy said stressfully but Leni gives the tie back to him, "Twenty-five years, it's a big one."
"You know, I'd be glad to help you," Leni explained.
"But you'd lose your place in line," the tie guy said. before grabs her bag and gets out of the line.
"Fine! But this is more important," Leni said as she and the guy leave to find a tie.
Meanwhile back at the food court, Lincoln and his mother Lori were both having a drink.
"Yep. Today could be the start of a whole new life for Leni," Lincoln said.
"Ahhh, yeah. It sure is. I wonder what her future will be when she's like this," Lori said as she starts fantasizing about Leni's future. Starting with her being the CEO of a major fashion corporation, and giving a presentation.
"The ABCs of being a CEO," Leni explained.
Next, fantasy Leni is signing a books titled "Taste the Flan" written by herself. Then they fantasize Leni being on a talk show.
"So, Ms. Loud, you're the head of a fashion company, the best-selling author of 'Taste the Flan', and a role model for young women," the interviewer asked Leni, "To what do you attribute your success?"
"Well, I really owe it all to my siblings, see, there was this two-day blowout sale..." Leni explained.
Back to reality.
"And just imagine what Lori's future would look like..." Lola said as they then start to fantasize Lori's future.
Where she and Lincoln have become famous action movie stars, leading in many action movies. In one movie adult Lori and Lincoln were seen shooting at aliens.
"Smell you later, bitches!" Lori screamed as they throw bombs at one of the aliens. Next, they are seen signing autographs outside the movie theater. Then they fantasize the two in a talk show.
"Lori Loud and Lincoln Loud, you're the stunning actors of "Zombie Bugs from Mars" and "Aliens in the Restaurant," the host explained, "And you, Lori, are a role model for females everywhere. Tell us, what is the reason for all of your success?"
"Well I couldn't have been so famous without my siblings. You see there was this blowout sale at Reininger's..." Lori said as her sisters continue fantasizing, completely unaware of what Leni and Lori are doing back at Reininger's.
"Problem solved, now you'll have something to wear to the dance," Leni said as she a dress to a teen girl as they hug.
"There you go! You'll look so lovely in that hat," Lori said sweetly as she gives another girl her age a top hat.
"You came all the way from Cheboygan for a flutter sleeve blouse?" Leni said proudly as she gives a woman a blouse, "You should have it."
"Don't worry, I have a closet full of these," Lori said as she gives a girl an old blue shirt.
"Please, there'll be other culottes," Leni said as she was giving some guy her culottes.
"I insist you take these leggings for Leni," Lori said as she gives a girl some leggings.
"Send me a picture, I wanna see how those gaucho pants look in you," Leni said as she gave a lady some pants.
Leni and Lori finally get to the front of the line, and Leni puts the only thing she has left on the counter.
"This is a great find. I wish I had time to browse the racks," the cashier said.
"Oh, well, why don't you take it?" Leni asked.
"Oh, oh, I couldn't do that, this is all you have and you've been waiting in line for so long," the cashier said.
"It's okay, I wouldn't even be shopping here, if it weren't for people like you working so hard," Leni said as she leaves, while the cashier smiles.
"That was a good thing you did Leni," Lori explained.
"Thanks, Lori. You want to go next?" Leni asked her.
"Nah. I already gave away all mine," Lori explained as they leave, Leni gives the obnoxious guy who cut in front of her earlier a salute, he yelps and takes cover.
Meanwhile, back at the food court...
"No, the castle Leni's gonna live in, will have three swimming pools!" Lola explained.
"Ooh, and a chocolate fountain!" Lincoln added.
"And a zoo!" Lana added.
"And Lori's boyfriend will be totally shredded!" Luna shouted.
"There they are!" Lola said as she pointed to Leni and Lori and they cheered for them.
"Hey, you guys!" Leni said happily.
"Uh, guys, where are your bags?" Lincoln asked as he noticed something.
"Uh, yeah. About that.. We kinda gave away all our stuff," Lori said despondently.
"What?! After all our training?!" Lynn said in shock.
"What happened to the new Leni and Mom?" Lincoln asked.
"She wasn't really me. I'm sorry, you guys," Leni said despondently, "It did feel good to get what I wanted, but it felt even better to give other people what they wanted.
"And to be honest the new Lori wasn't fitting well with me. I was so aggressive and mean I've became a complete jerk. I actually hurt a child today! Face it! It's just not me to be mean," Lori said sadly.
"Guys, we're worried about you. How are you going to make it in life if you keep putting yourself last?" Luan asked.
"Well, Fran and I cannot support you forever," Lynn said as she holds up her phone and Francisco is on the other line.
"I don't think you guys understand but putting yourself last can actually be a good thing," Lori explained.
"Oh yeah? And exactly how can it be a good thing?" Lola asked before Mrs. Parker walks up to Leni.
"Oh, there you are, dear!," Mrs. Parker said as she holds up a present, "I got you a little something to say thanks."
"Awwww, you shouldn't have! I hope your granddaughter loves it," Leni said as she takes the present.
Lori smirks and gestures how Leni was rewarded for her good deed.
"Presents are nice, but you know what's nicer? All those clothes you guys gave away!" Lola explained.
Just then, the teenage girl from earlier in her dress came up to Lori, "Lori! Lori!"
"Aw! You look so good in that dress!" Lori said sweetly.
"Thank you! I want to give you something! The teenage Girl asked as she gives Lori a blue sweater.
"For me?" Lori said in surprise and the teenage girl nodded, "Why thank you!" she said happily and gives the teenage girl a kiss on the cheek in return, leaving the teenage girl in awe.
"Yeah, yeah. The shirt was great. But it would've been better if you bought it!" Lynn explained.
Just then, a waiter comes in with a cart of fries.
"Excuse me, Miss, we have the number three combo, with fries, for everyone in your party, courtesy of that woman over there," the waiter informed.
The woman from before waves to Leni, and gestures to the sweater Leni gave her.
"Wow, You look great! No rashes whatsoever," Leni said while Lola takes the fries.
Just then, the tie guy and his wife walk up to Leni.
"Excuse me, Miss," the wife explained to Leni that her husband loves the tie, "Thank you so much for helping my hubby, he has never looked this cute in such a long time."
"We got you a gift card to the fro-yo shop," the tie guy said as he pulls out a gift card.
"I have to say, that's pretty sweet of you, that's one of my favorite places," Leni said as the lovely couple starts off, "Happy anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Bank."
But The couple has no clue what that means.
"You know, Leni, it's great that all these people are doing nice things for us. Though I still think it's more important that you..." Lori said before Ms. Carmichael called off-screen.
"Excuse me, I wanted to meet you."
"Uh, excuse me?" Leni asked as Ms. Carmichael walks up to her.
"Hi, I'm Ms. Carmichael, I'm the manager of Reininger's," Ms. Carmichael introduced, "and you are..."
"Leni. Leni Loud," Leni Loud introduced as Ms. Carmichael shakes her hand.
"Well, Leni Loud, that was such an amazing deed that both you and Lori have done at the mall," Ms. Carmichael said happily, "In fact, I've been hearing such wonderful things about both you and Lori. You know, we could use a sales employee with great customer service skills."
"Well, it looks like it's my time to shine as I am finally toughening up to be a real sister. How is the work service here?" Leni explained.
"Hours are flexible, and employees get a fifty percent discount on all merchandise," Ms. Carmichael explained.
"It's like there's a blowout sale happening in my heart. Ms. Carmichael, I accept this new job," Leni said happily and her relatives smile.
"Excellent. That's what I really wanted to hear. Stop by whenever you have the time to fill out paperwork," Ms. Carmichael said as she and Leni leave.
"I'll see you back at home, guys," Leni thanked them.
"Now, do you get it?" Luan said eagerly.
"We sure do. Mom and I were so wrong about you and Leni," Lincoln replied.
"Yeah, guess we don't have to worry about you guys after all," Lynn said while she ate her fries.
"Hmm, if being nice does that much for Leni and Lori, I wonder what it could do for me," Lola said as she gets up from her seat holding her fries and walks up to the obnoxious guy, "Hey, mister? How would you like my fries?"
"Oh, no thank you. I'm trying to watch my cholesterol," the obnoxious guy replied.
"Go ahead. Take them," Lola demanded.
"No, really. I'm good," the obnoxious guy replied.
"TAKE THE FRIES, BITCH! BEFORE LENI TURNS YOU INTO A HUMAN PRETZEL!" Lola shouted threateningly which causes him to run.
"What is up with this mall?!" the obnoxious guy screamed as he runs off in fear and Lola glares at him.
"Maybe stick to what you know, Lola," Lincoln said.
"One thing's for sure, Lincoln. We just might possibly know that some people might just never change after all," Lori explained.
"Yep, they probably won't, sis, but at least Leni is at least toughening up a bit," Luna replied.
"Indeed she is," Lori agreed.
"I guess it makes all of us better and tougher," Lincoln said.
"And louder, too! And it just might help some of our future problems for many years to come," Lori replied.
"Yep, you said it, Mom," Lincoln agreed as everybody continued to enjoy their time at the mall together.
