It was Sunday, July 6, 1986 in the Loud House. Lori and Lincoln were preparing to do a little nice and quiet time as Lincoln was holding a new comic book. They then got started by kicking off their shoes as Lincoln kicked off his flip-flops and Lori kicked off her sandals.
"Sandals and flip-flops off," Lori kicked off her sandals.
"Shirt removed," Lincoln said as he removed his red shirt, leaving on only his orange trunks.
"Shorts, be gone," Lori said as she dropped her shorts, leaving only her pink swimsuit on and they then entered her room and sat on their bed with Bobby.
"Woo. Another new comic came out. For us, I don't think there's a better way to read comics for us than in our undies. Well, Lincoln and I are wearing our swimsuits, though, but it's acceptable. Ultra rare comic? Check. Optimal reading attire? Check."
They both put on gloves.
"Comic protection? Check." Lincoln replied.
"Well deserved and much desired peace and quiet? Check," Lori replied.
However, Lucy's on the bed's headboard.
"I have to tell you about this dream I had last night." Lucy explained.
They gasp at her presence.
"What is it now, Lucy? You know, We'd love to hear it, but as you can see, we're..." Lori explained but...
"So, I'm hanging out in this coffin, and all of a sudden..." Lucy began to explain..
Lori and Lincoln know that they won't stop and go under the grownup table to read their comic.
"Peace and quiet? Check. Again." Lori said to herself.
"Hopefully, Mom and I will have peace," Lincoln replied but suddenly, a lizard comes crawling over his comic.
"Izzy! Where are you?" Lana screamed.
Lori and Lincoln scream and Lori hits her head under the table.
"Ow! Didn't realize we're under the table," Lori realized before Lana looked under the table. There you are! Oh, hey, guys! I see you met my new lizard, Izzy. Wanna pet him?
"No, Lana. Lincoln and I just have reading to do," Lori replied as she and Lincoln then move to the house's vents.
"Peace and quiet. Check. Again," Lincoln complied.
"Does seem a little cramped though," Lori commented before all of a sudden, Luna plays a really loud guitar riff and causes her and Lincoln to fall out of the vent and into her room.
"Nice stage dive, bro!" Luna shouted as she continues playing, making Lori and Lincoln shake over the noise's vibrations.
Later, they were now in a dark place where only their eyes can be shown.
"Finally, peace and quiet! Check! AGAIN!" Lincoln screamed as he began to lose it.
"Now, to put on some light so we can see what we're reading," Lori commented as she turns on a flashlight. But, the moment she did so, it is revealed that they are actually reading in the garbage can outside, "What the...? How did we end up in a garbage can?"
Luan lifts up the lid with a garbage bag.
"Oh, hey, guys," Luan greeted.
"What is it now, Luan?" Lori asked.
"What has four wheels and flies? A garbage truck! Well, I would take trash, but I refuse," Luan replied and she laughs as Lincoln and his mother roll the garbage can away in frustration, "Now we're both on a roll!"
Luan laughs some more and bangs the lid on her knee. Lori and Lincoln then walk into the living room as they were picking trash off of themselves as they suddenly see Bobby on the couch eating some donuts and Ronnie Anne eating some popcorn.
"Hey, guys. Are you both alright?" Bobby asked in concern.
"How can we be okay, guys? There's no place in this house where we can't read without any interruptions," Lincoln explained.
"Yeah, is it too much to ask for a little peace and quiet so that somebody can read their comic in their underwear or swimwear for that matter?" Lori asked as she and Lincoln both both walk over to the sofa to sit down and she turns to the viewers, "Sadly, when somebody like me has eight sisters and is the mother of the youngest girl and the only boy, it's way beyond impossible for me and the kids to get a moment's peace in this house."
"I wonder if there's anything good on TV right now," Lincoln said to himself.
"Well, there's plenty of good stuff on TV," Ronnie Anne said, "In fact, Bobby and I were watching another episode of The Flintstones on NBC."
As soon as Ronnie Anne finished, an ad comes on.
"Do you find it almost impossible to get a moment's peace?"
"Yes, we both do!" Lori replied.
"Then you need the Noise-B-Gone 2000 Earbuds! With 12 different soothing sounds, tune out that noisy world and enjoy a little me time. Two for just $14.95! Call now!"
"SOLD!" Lori and Lincoln shouted together.
"It's only two for fifteen dollars! Perfect deal!" Lori said happily as she and Lincoln then go around looking for some of his money that they have been saving up in various places they would keep it and get the exact total they need and then get on the phone with customer service, "Okay. It's Same-day delivery, right? Do you know how much more it is?" As they are told, they get out some more money and have enough for the same-day delivery, "Let's do this, Lincoln."
In just a short amount of time, a delivery drone comes by with the package and Lori answers the door and picks up their package, but the amount is too much for the drone to lift and it crashes down on the porch, they then open up the buds to see what they're like.
"Wow. Look at the size of these things. Nobody will even notice that we're wearing them. Isn't that right, Lincoln?" Lori asked happily.
"Yep. Mom's got the word pretty much," Lincoln replied as they put in the buds while seeing the ruckus their family is causing, "We ready, Mom?"
"Yep. We're ready. Noise...be gone!" Lori said as she and Lincoln both then press buttons on buds and suddenly gets a wind chime sound over their sisters' commotion. They then try other settings like trickling water, chirping birds, and waves crashing and are very relieved, "That's much better. Goodbye, pesky, noisy sisters of mine," Lincoln joins in, "And hello, quiet time."
Leni then comes in to talk to Lori and Lincoln about something, but since their earbuds have canceled out her dialogue, it is unknown what she is telling them.
"Whatever you say, sis!" Lori didn't pay attention.
"Yeah, Leni. Whatever you say," Lincoln didn't pay attention either.
Next, Luna comes in to show off a rocking solo, but Lincoln doesn't hear it. Lori doesn't hear it either.
"Cool jams, Luna!" Lori said, still not paying attention.
Finally, Lana and Izzy come in and Lana has something to tell Lincoln, but she is muted out like Leni and Luna.
"You know it, girl!" Lincoln was too focused.
He and Lori then take their buds off as Lana leaves.
"Noise-B-Gone Buds, you...are...ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! So, why stop at comics?" Lori said happily as she and Lincoln then put the buds back on.
"Yep, let the quiet times roll!" Lincoln said happily.
While working on a model plane with Luan telling some of her comedy material...
Funny! Funny stuff!" Lori said happily.
While playing a game of Duck Hunt on the NES with Lynn watching.
"You betcha, Lynn-arino!" Lori replied.
While working on a magazine puzzle, they walk by Lucy.
"Yep. Sounds good, Luce," Lori replied.
They then went past Leni.
"I hear that!" Lori shouted.
They then come across Lisa who is holding some beakers
"Abso-tutely!" Lori and Lincoln said happily.
They then go into his room to shoot some hoops. Bobby and his daughter Ronnie Anne suddenly walk into Lori's room where she and Lincoln were.
"Hey, guys. I know you find it tough to find a moment's peace in this house and don't get me wrong, I know what that's like so I'm..." Bobby tried to explain but Lori and Lincoln however were hearing their conversation with the earbuds on.
"I know what you mean, honey! Lincoln and I just need some quiet time!" Lori replied.
"Okay... Well, your daughter and I I just want you both to know that you can come to me for some quiet time. Hey, maybe you can help me with my hobbies. Will Tomorrow morning sound good?" Bobby asked.
"Totally!" Lincoln still didn't hear Bobby's conversation and neither was Lori.
"Thanks, you two! We'll be with you fair and square by then!" Bobby replied softly as he and Ronnie Anne off.
"Wow. Things really are silent with these buds on after all," Lori said happily but Lola suddenly then comes in to talk to them about something important, but thanks to the buds, neither of them can understand her. What Lola's talking about is worrying her, but they just tune her out more.
Yep. Just what we needed, Mommy. Just what we needed," Lincoln said relaxingly.
Later that night, they were getting into bed in Lori's room and Lori was cuddling up with Bobby and Lincoln was cuddling up with Ronnie Anne. Lori and Lincoln take their buds off and polish them.
"Thanks for a silent day, guys. You're our new best buds," Lincoln said happily as he and Lori put them them away and await to use them again tomorrow before getting snuggled under the covers.
"I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be a great day, Lincoln," Lori started yawning.
"Yep, until then, sweet dreams to allof us," Lincoln said dreamily before Lori turned off the lamp as they all fell asleep for the night.
Monday, July 7, 1986
Lori was waking up and so was Lincoln.
"Wow. That was a good night's sleep, wasn't it Lincoln?" Lori asked softly.
"Yeah, Mom, it sure is," Lincoln replied softly as he woke up.
"Well, time to get ready for another silent day of nothing but peace and quiet," Lori said relaxingly when suddenly, Lola barges into their room and jumps up in front of them on their bed.
"GUYS!"
They then scream and fall off their beds, which suddenly wakes Bobby up.
"Lola. Did you have to wake us up all of a sudden, Lola?!" Bobby shouted.
"Hey, Lori, Lincoln! Don't forget that you promised to do that thing for me by 3:00 P.M. today," Lola demanded.
"Huh?" Lincoln and his mother both notice their ear buds are on the floor and quickly hide them.
"You both didn't forget, did you guys?" Lola asked suspiciously.
"What the... Of course we didn't forget, Lola!" Lori replied.
"Good, because you wouldn't want to make me MAD!" Lola shouted before she ran off back to her room.
"All right, now what did we promise them?" Lori asked before Lynn enters their room.
"Hey, guys! What are you both up to this morning?" Lynn asked them.
"Hey, Lynn. You don't happen to know what Mom and I both promised..." Lincoln replied but Lynn grabs them both out of their room.
"Come on, guys, it's go time!" Lynn called as she takes them out into the backyard.
"Lynn, what's happening? We'd like to know what's going on here," Lori explained with reason.
"HIYAH!" Lynn hits Lincoln with a dropkick.
"Whoa! Hey!"
Suddenly, he and Lori are both getting kicked by Lynn multiple times.
"Ow! Lynn, what do you think you are doing?" Lori asked angrily.
"Practicing my kickboxing! HUAH! Yesterday, you said you and Lori would be my sparring partners," Lynn throws more kicks at them, "Remember? HIYAH!"
"Yes, we do remember," Lincoln replied before Lynn delivers a powerful kick to them.
"So, uh, do you know where Lola went today, Lynn?" Lori asked before Lynn hits them with another powerful kick.
"Uh, no. Why?"
"Well...I guess we promised to..." Lori explained as they avoid another blow, "...do something for her, but..." Another dodge comes by, "Lincoln and I sort of forgot what it really is."
Lynn punches Lori in the face.
"WHAT?! I really hope you both remember! You know what happens when you make Lola mad! Did I ever tell you both about the pudding incident?" Lynn asked angrily.
"The... pudding... incident?" Lori and Lincoln realized.
"Yeah, when Lola gave me karma for eating the last cup of pudding," Lynn replied.
Flashback to the pudding incident, where Lola notices there's no more pudding in the fridge and Lynn has the last cup of it.
"So, you ate the last pudding, huh?" Lola demanded.
"Oh, did I? Well, I sure did, Lola. Because you don't have a heart," Lynn replied, suddenly Lola got angry at her.
"Oh, really. Because karma is gonna come to you later tonight!" Lola replied angrily with a demonic frown on her face.
Later, as Lynn is getting ready for bed, she notices something under her blanket, lifts it up, and discovers that Lola popped her Soccer ball with a soft knife and screams in horror
End flashback.
"All because you ate the last pudding?" Lori and Lincoln said in fear.
"Yep. Now stay focused. HIYAH!" Lynn then launches Lincoln right into her Soccer goalie net and suddenly lands on Lori's face, "GOAL!" Lynn runs off and thy both get up.
"Man, let's never hear about her soccer madness again," Lori replied.
Suddenly, Leni grabs them to her room.
"Lincoln, come on! I need you," Leni commanded.
"For what?" Lincoln demanded.
"Leni, what are you doing?!" Lori demanded.
"Don't be a dope. We literally talked about this yesterday!" Leni said angrily.
"Boy, Leni sure doesn't seem happy," Lynn said in worry.
In Lori and Leni's room, Leni is using Lincoln as a mannequin for a new design and Lori looked worried.
"I think my design for the Manotard is really working. I'd like to thank you for agreeing to be my model, Lincoln," Leni said coolly before she suddenly pokes Lincoln with needle.
"Ow! Yeah, sure. So, um, let me ask you a hypothetical question," Lincoln explained.
"Go ahead. I'm waiting for you to make a hypothetical question!" Leni said coolly.
"Say you promised Lola you'd do something for her, but you forgot what it was," but Leni suddenly shoves a needle into Lincoln in shock before getting angry and raising her voice.
"LANDON! WILL YOU STOP MOVING?!" Leni screamed.
"It's Lincoln!" Lori corrected.
"Lincoln, Landon, it doesn't matter!" Leni explained before she raised her voice again, "DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE LOLA REALLY ANGRY?! DID I EVERY TELL YOU BOTH ABOUT THAT GOOD-FOR-NOTHING TIARA CRISIS?!"
"The... tiara... crisis?" Lori realized something.
"Yeah, you know, when I literally got karma for placing my ass on Lola's favorite tiara," Leni explained.
Flashback to the tiara crisis as Leni sits down in the chair only to hear a crunching sound and finds out she sat on Lola's favorite tiara. Lola sees the aftermath of her tiara being destroyed.
"Oops. Jees, I am so sorry, Lola," Leni said nervously.
"HOW COULD YOU BREAK MY FAVORITE TIARA?! NOW PREPARE TO HAVE YOURSELF SOME KARMA FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Lola yelled with an extremely angry demonic frown on her face from Lynn's flashback.
In Lori and Leni's room, all of Leni's stuff is gone.
"WHERE'S ALL MY STUFF?!" Leni screamed in anger.
"Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! Free stuff!" Lola called outside.
Leni looks outside and notices that Lola is giving away all her stuff and gasps in demise. She then heads outside and storms up to Lola in anger and rage.
"LOLA CELESTE LOUD! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH MY BELONGINGS?!" Leni shouted angrily.
"My sister doesn't need this stuff, but you do!" Lola replied before Leni suddenly got really angry and began screaming at full volume.
"LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Leni screamed at full volume in anger, calling for Lori.
End flashback.
"All because you accidentally broke her tiara?" Lori and Lincoln screamed in fear.
"And viola! Okay, girls, fashion show!" Leni finished.
"What? Girls? No way!" Lincoln said embarrassed.
"Leni, isn't this a bit too much?" Lori asked nervously.
"You promised," Leni replied as all her friends pop in and ogle Lincoln in the manotard; one of them even takes a selfie with him much to his embarrassment.
"Dad, are you sure you can do this?" Lincoln asked Bobby, whom he and Ronnie Anne were now seen wearing their swim attire.
"Totally! Just like you said, boy!" Bobby shouted as he takes a running start then leaps to Lincoln, where he catches him, and then falls, "Oof! We should really work on that.
"Say Dad, when did you even start on your little lifeguarding experience?" Lincoln questioned Bobby.
"It's just a hobby that I've been working on for the past year, you said that you and Lori would help us," Bobby explained.
"Right. Well anyway, Mom and I promised Lola something and..." Lincoln replied.
"WHAT?! Do you remember what it was?" Bobby and Ronnie Anne said in shock.
"Guys, Lincoln and I were hoping you knew," Lori explained.
"Oh no, this is not good! You should never make Lola mad! Have we ever told you both about... The Slip?" Bobby asked.
Flashback to The Slip, Bobby and Ronnie Anne were painting something in the hallway then some red paint dripped. Then, as Lola worked on her pageant walk, she slipped on the paint that the two dropped, getting it all over her back.
"Oops, sorry Lola!" Bobby said nervously.
Yeah, we didn't notice the paint dropping!" Ronnie Anne added.
Lola still had a demonic frown from Leni's flashback.
"TIME FOR KARMA, BASTARDS!" Lola screamed angrily.
Minutes later, after the two washed their hands in the bathroom, they gasp in horror to see that their painting of him, Lori, Ronnie Anne, Lily and Lincoln as a family was destroyed. Then, he followed the trail of painted footprints to see that his chest was smashed to pieces with the easel, which made them scream in horror.
End flashback.
"She did that?" Lori and Lincoln shouted in fear.
"Yes. And I don't even wanna know what she's gonna do to you If you don't do what she asks you to! Hurry, you two!" Bobby shouted.
"Got it!" Lori said as she and Lincoln both run off, but Ronnie Anne stops them.
"But, not before we do one more practice performance..."
After their practice performance, the four were back in Lori's room when Leni comes in and decides to have one more thing with them.
"You sure we agreed to do this, Leni?" Lincoln asked Leni.
"I believe your mother's exact words yesterday were, "Whatever you say, sis" Leni replied.
It turns out that Lori was now being used as an ottoman for Lenito paint her toenails and Leni decided to speak with Lori, "So, I hear that you and Lincoln literally got a little Lola problem."
"How did you know, Leni?" Lori was surprised that she knew.
"Word gets around. Now, listen to me very carefully! You know what happens when you make Lola mad, so you have to make sure to figure out what you promised her! Did I ever tell you about...Sneeze-ageddon?" Leni asked.
Flashback to Sneeze-ageddon; Lola and Leni are sitting on the couch bored; Lola suddenly sneezes and notices Leni right next to her and clears throat.
"I didn't hear a 'bless you'!" Lola demanded.
"I don't care, Lola! That's not what matters!" Leni ignored her but Lola becomes completely outraged by what she said.
"TIME TO GIVE THAT BITCH SOME KARMA!" Lola shouted angrily.
Later, with a pot of boiling water on the stove that Leni passes by.
"Has anyone seen my mixtape around here? I could use it for my workout right now," Leni asked before she notices the pot, opens the lid, uses tongs to pull out a familiar object, gasps to see that it's one of her mixtapes now destroyed and screams in panic.
End flashback.
"If she did all that stuff to you guys, what is she gonna do to us?" Lori asked in fear.
"Maybe you should both talk to Lana. I'm sure she'll be able to help you," Leni explained coolly.
"Of course! Thanks!" Lori gets ready to go but suddenly...
"Hold on, Lori! I haven't done my top coat yet," Leni declared.
"Very well, Leni. You finish up," Lori replied as she resumes her ottoman position, "I just don't know how much longer it will be."
In Lana and Lola's room, Lori and Lincoln were speaking with Lana.
"You...WHAT?! You both know what happens when you make Lola mad! I don't know what she wants you to do, but you both really need figure it out soon enough. Did I ever tell you both about...the frog fiasco? Lana demanded.
"Do Lincoln and I really want to know about the frog fiasco?" Lori asked in fear.
Flashback to the frog fiasco; Lola is trying to apply some mascara when a frog croaks from behind her and makes her mess up.
"Aww! You're a burpy-durpy today. Isn't he the cutest?" Lana said cutely but...
"Prepare for some karma, Lana!" Lola yelled with a demonic angry face.
Later, Lana is getting ready to feed her frog.
"Who's hungry?" Lana called but notices that Seymour is not in his tank, "Seymour? Where'd you go?" she hears Lola whistling and notices her carrying a shovel, seeing that Lola killed and buried Seymour, "NOOOOOOOOOO!"
End flashback.
"I mean, I can't prove she took out Seymour...but I never saw him again," Lana said depressingly.
Suddenly, Lori becomes desperate and scared.
"Lana, what are we gonna do?! It's almost 3:00! YOU GOTTA HELP US!" Lori screamed in panic.
"Okay, okay. Take it easy," Lana replied as she thinks for a second and then gets and idea, "I know! Why don't you just think of everything she might want you to do and then do it?"
"Everything?" Lincoln asked in fear.
"Do you both remember Seymour?" Lana asked but Lori and Lincoln gasped upon it and realized that they have no other choice and give it a try. Lincoln went ahead to polish Lola's tiaras and beauty pageant trophies, cleans her side of the room and princess mobile while Lori mows the lawn, and cleans the gutters.
"Jeez. Why does Lola care whether the gutters are clean or not?" Lori asked suspiciously.
"I know. It's crazy, right?" Lana asked and Lincoln has even repaved the driveway, "Lola does love a smooth driveway."
"Uh huh. Yep. She wants everything to be perfectly nice and clean," Lori added.
They even makes topiary sculptures in Lola's honor to the point where they're too tired to keep doing these tasks.
"Phew...we did it..." Lincoln commented exhaustingly.
"Yeah...I guess we did..." Lori replied exhaustingly.
Lana then sees the time.
"One minute to 3:00. Good luck, you two," Lana replied as she prepares to leave.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Lincoln asked in fear.
"Somewhere safe. You know...just in case," Lana replied as she closes the door and leaves.
"Oh, no. 3:00. Lola's gonna get angry at us. Get ready, Lincoln. Lola's gonna give us some serious karma!" Lori said in fear.
"Yeah, she may even leave me having nightmares one day, Mom," Lincoln said in fear.
"Ohhhh. Let's hope to God it never happens," Lori said in fear.
The time has come, and...Lola is completely outraged...
"LORI! LINCOLN! IT'S 3 O'CLOCK! YOU'VE BOTH FAILED ME!" Lola screamed as she bursts into the room in a furiously enraging manner.
"Oh no. It's Lola! She's gone completely furious!" Lori screamed in fear.
"YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE LOLA MAD!" Lola screamed furiously as she sports a demonic frown and has flames of fury in her eyes as Lori and Lincoln beg for mercy.
"Lola, please! Lincoln and I would have done what you asked me, but neither of us heard you!" Lori screamed in fear as she and Lincoln reveal the buds, "Just so you know, Lincoln and I were both wearing these. All we both heard was the sound of waves. Or was it crickets? Doesn't matter! The thing is... Lincoln and I both know that you didn't hear either of us."
Lola then goes from blind with rage and anger to suddenly calm and merciful.
"Yes, I know you didn't hear me," Lola replied calmly.
"Huh?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"Wait, how did you know, Lola?" Lori asked and the other sisters sans Lisa pop in with satisfied smiles except Leni who had an angry look.
"Well, you're still not as clever as you think, Lori and Lincoln Loud!" Lola screamed.
Flashback to what Lola was trying to tell Lincoln yesterday.
"Lincoln, is this too much mascara? Be honest. It's super, super, super important!"
"Aah. I couldn't agree more!" Lincoln muted Lola out.
"Ah, what are you gonna do? I couldn't agree more either," Lori also muted Lola out.
"Agree with what?" Lola asked.
"Right back at ya!" Lori replied.
"Okay, you're weird," Lola replied before Lincoln's basketball shoots out of bounds and knocks over their wastebasket revealing the Noise-B-Gone package, which Lola notices, making her make that demonic frown and fill up with rage and angry she made in all those other flashbacks, "So, Lincoln, are you and your mom the biggest dorks in the world?"
"You can say that again!" Lincoln still didn't hear Lola.
"Yep! Indeed what Lincoln said is true," Lori said as she didn't hear Lola either.
"And do you love the taste of dog poop?" Lola asked.
"You know it!" Lincoln replied and Lola slyly smiles and tells the other sisters about the earbuds.
"So, he and Lori have been tuning us out all day?" Leni asked in concern and Lola nods.
"You mean they weren't really listening to you guys?" Bobby asked in surprise and Lola shakes her head.
"No wonder they didn't help me restring my guitar!" Luna said angrily.
"Or come to my séance!" Lucy said angrily.
"And that's why neither him or Lori didn't laugh at my jokes!" Luan said in surprise.
"Or even help us out with our usual hobbies," Ronnie Anne added.
"Yeah, that's why!" Leni yelled angrily before Lynn started making a big threat.
"I'm gonna go rip out those earbuds and..." But Bobby and his daughter stopped her.
"Wait! Guys, There's gotta be a non-violent way to teach the two a lesson," Bobby explained.
"Yeah, because if you hospitalize them both, my dad here is gonna have to end up paying for their medical bill," Ronnie Anne added.
"Oh, there they are!"
End flashback.
"So, all that stuff you guys made us do today...that was all made up?" Lincoln asked and Lola nodded in agreement.
"Mine wasn't. Look, Ronnie Anne and I just really want to spend time with you," Bobby explained.
"You had it coming, little bro. You can't just ignore us. We're your family," Luna explained.
"It's not nice to ignore people's problems," Bobby explained.
"And remember, you're not the only one who has to live in a noisy house. We all do," Lori said softly.
"Yeah, even Dad and I are part of this noisy house as well, just like what Mom said," Ronnie Anne added.
Just when all seems to have been resolved, Lisa rushes in in a panicked state.
"LORI! LINCOLN! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME WITH MY LAB EXPERIMENT!" Lisa screamed in fear but Lori and Lincoln thought she's in on a joke Lola was doing.
"Okay, Lisa, you can give it a rest. Mom and I both know all about your little joke," Lincoln explained.
"What joke?" Lisa asked before she notices the earbuds, "I'm gonna need those." she takes them, puts them on, and hides under Lincoln's bed.
"Oh dear. What's going on now?" Lori said in fear.
Suddenly, there's a rumbling going on in Lisa and Lily's room.
"Oh no. Everybody! Cover your ears now!" Lori screamed in fear as she uses her fingers to cover up Lincoln's ears as Bobby covers Lori's ears and Lincoln covers up Ronnie Anne's ears in addition. Suddenly, the rumble causes a giant explosion that blows the entire roof off the house and land back on top the house, upside down. The explosion was so loud that it caused the other siblings except Lori, Ronnie Anne and Lincoln to go deaf.
"GREAT! NOW I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!" Leni yelled at the top of their lungs with everyone else, "WHAT?!"
Lisa then emerges out from under the bed, still wearing the earbuds. At the same time, Lori uncovers Lincoln's ears and Bobby uncovers Lori's ears and Lincoln uncovers Ronnie Anne's ears in addition.
"DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?!" The deaf siblings began to yell at each other.
"Boy, Leni said that she can't hear anything," Lori explained while Lisa recognized the situation and quickly sneaks past the deaf siblings and rushes to her room to try and fix this situation... only to see that the explosion messed up her and Lily's room, and her lab.
"Damn it! My lab is crippled! There's only one solution now. Lori, you know what to do!" Lisa commanded and Lori grabs her phone and hands it to her boyfriend Bobby before the latter calls Rita.
"Hello? Ma'am? Are you there?" Bobby asked to the phone.
"Bobby? What's going on? And why are my daughters yelling?! What happened this time?!" Rita asked on the phone as she was hearing her girls yelling.
"Ma'am. I think this all started when Lori and Lincoln got themselves two pairs of Noise-B-Gone 2000 Earbuds! They had 12 different soothing sounds that would tune out that noisy world and enjoy them a little us time. And that was when Lola started spying up on other people and giving other people some serious bad karma. And when an explosion occurred the next day, almost all of us went deaf," Bobby explained to the phone.
"Oh, boy... We'll straighten this out, Roberto. Don't worry," Rita said before she hangs up and Bobby hands the phone back to Lori.
"Thanks, honey," Lori said softly to Bobby.
Two hours later, the siblings were in the living room with the parents and Bobby standing before them, looking upset with them. Lori and her son Lincoln were holding the two pairs of earbuds, Luna was holding Lily with Ronnie Anne assisting her and Rita and Lynn Sr. were holding the bill for their hearing restoration and roof repair and Rita was looking extremely upset with the girls.
"Does anyone want to explain what this was all about?" Rita asked angrily.
"Look, I will explain to you wha..." Lola started to stand but Leni and Luna both grasped her shoulders.
"SIT, YOUNG LADY!/SIT, LOLA!" Luna and Leni both shouted as they pull Lola back on the couch. Lori and her son Lincoln then step up, still holding the earbuds.
"Don't worry. Lincoln and I will explain the whole thing," Lori replied.
"All right. Go right ahead, Lori," Rita agreed softly.
Lori then explained the whole thing, "Okay, so it all started when Lincoln and I got us two pairs of sound-canceling earbuds known as Noise-B-Gone 2000 Earbuds! They had 12 different soothing sounds that would tune out those noisy sisters of mine and enjoy a little us time. Apparently, these earbuds made us try to drown those earbuds out. The following day, things got really bad, when Lola gave my sisters some serious karma because she thought that we failed us. And we told her that we were wearing those earbuds. And we told the family that we can't ignore the family. But Lola forgot to fill Lisa in on the plan, as Lisa's experiment just made an explosion so powerful that it deafened a lot of us here in the house. And that's what really happened in this house, and all because we just wanted some quiet. We weren't trying to ignore anyone, not even Bobby or even Ronnie Anne. It's just that Lincoln and I just wanted to read some good-old fashioned comics in peace. We could've just left the house and do that if we didn't need to strip down to just our swim attire to feel more comfortable doing it during the summer."
The parents then faced the girls, upset at them.
"Lola, did you honestly think that was necessary?" Lynn Sr. asked angrily.
"Well, those dumb babies needed to be taught a lesson, Daddy!" Lola declared but Rita was upset with her children.
"I think some need it more than others, the seven of you are grounded for the next three days. So no music, no jokes, and no phone calls unless it's an emergency," Rita declared before she faces Lori, Lincoln and Lisa, "As for you, Lori, Lincoln and Lisa, you three are off the hook. That goes for you too, Bobby and Ronalda."
Hearing that surprised Lori, Lincoln and Lisa, but also angered Lola.
"Really? But, my mother and I are the ones that caused all this," Lincoln said in surprise.
"Yeah. I wanted a time of quiet, too," Lori said in surprise.
"And I caused the deafness," Lisa said in surprise.
"Yeah, my mom and my brother wanted some peace time," Ronnie Anne agreed.
"After what you've been put through, fellas, that'd be beating a dead horse," Lynn Sr. commented.
"And technically, Lisa, your experiment was only an accident," Rita replied.
Lola then jumps on the coffee table and decides to act out of character, "ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?! THIS ISN'T FAIR!"
"Young lady, you can't take these matters into your own hands!" Rita shouted to Lola, "Now you march up to your room and think about what you've done!" this causes Lola to sigh in defeat and walks upstairs dejectedly, "And if anyone else is prepared to argue with us, it's an extended grounding for ALL of you," and everyone then goes silent causing Rita's look to soften a bit, "That's what we thought."
"Believe me, ma'am. I don't think you might be getting another argument from any of your daughters," Bobby replied as the rest of the girls walked upstairs without a word, aside from a few apologies to Lori and Lincoln.
"Sorry about what I did to you. Pricking you with those needles really hurt me as well," Leni said sadly as she leaned in and gave Lincoln and Lori a kiss on each of their forehead, making them smile.
"It's okay, Leni. Mom and I both forgive you," Lincoln said softly.
"Oh, and I suppose I should be even more sorry for using your mother as an ottoman," Leni still said sadly.
"You can start by trimming your toenails, Leni," Lincoln said softly.
"Noted," Leni said sadly as she heads upstairs and Lynn comes to them and punches Lincoln and Lori's arm softly.
"Hey, Lori, Linc, I thought beating you around like that would be fun, but being made to do it pretty much killed it," Lynn said depressingly as she headed upstairs.
"I thought so, too," Lori said softly.
As Lisa was the last to head upstairs, Lori and Lincoln approached Rita, and Lily was still sitting on the couch.
"Thanks for being with us on this, mother. And here are some earbuds," Lori commented as she and Lincoln hand Rita a pair of the earbuds.
"Why are you giving me these?" Rita asked in surprise.
"You know, if anyone should have them, it should be Lily for her naps," Lori explained.
"Poo-Poo," Lily smiled as she gives them a kiss on the nose, making him smile.
"Great idea, Lori," Rita said happily, "Oh, and another thing. If you both needed some peace and quiet, you could have just asked."
"Yeah, we know that, but getting peace and quiet in this house just from asking is pretty much impossible," Lori explained.
"That's a pretty good point there, fellas," Lynn Sr. added.
"Besides, Mom and I are sure that we're not the only one that wishes for peace and quiet at times," Lincoln explained.
"Yeah. Even Dad and I may need some quiet time, too," Ronnie Anne added.
"You're right. Your father and I sometimes wish for peace and quiet too," Rita replied.
"And this week may finally provide it," Lynn Sr. added.
"In that case, Lincoln and I will be upstairs reading Ace Savvy then. Now if you'll excuse us..." Lori said as she, Ronnie Anne and Lincoln then head upstairs to her room, but they couldn't help but peek in Lisa and Lily's room.
Inside, they happen to find Lisa cleaning up the mess that the explosion made as they walk into the room.
"Wow, what a mess," Lincoln commented.
"Just can't stand the smell of this room right now," Ronnie Anne added.
"I agree. Such big clutter here," Lori agreed.
"I know, such a big mess here," Lisa replied as she cleaned up the mess.
"You need some help cleaning this up?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah. You look like you could use a hand," Lori suggested.
"Much appreciated," Lisa accepted and Lori, Ronnie Anne and Lincoln join her in cleaning up her and Lily's room, with Lori setting her daughter Lily's crib back up.
"So, how come you weren't in Lola's joke, Lisa?" Lori asked.
"Because the spoiled princess didn't tell me about it," Lisa explained while Ronnie Anne helped her set up new tubes in her lab.
"What? She didn't tell you?" Lori asked while setting her daughter Lily's blanket in her crib.
"No. But even if she did, I would not partake in such tomfoolery," Lisa explained while cleaning her new equipment.
"I'm kinda surprised you didn't," Lincoln replied while he and Ronnie Anne help his mother Lori fix Lisa's bed.
"Well, would I seem like the person to do something like that?" Lisa asked.
"Uh...no. But if you did, it would be one hell of a shock," Lori replied.
"Affirmative," Lisa agreed as she proceeds to set up new chemicals.
After about 20 minutes, the room looked as good as new. In fact, it looked like the explosion didn't do a thing. The four of them then wiped their hands good and clean.
"There we are. Good as new, Lisa!" Lori said happily.
"Uh huh. Just the way it was before," Lincoln said happily.
"And it's looking just like the explosion never happened in the first place," Ronnie Anne said happily.
"Indeed, sister and brother units. I appreciate your help," Lisa said happily.
"Glad we could, Lisa," Lincoln replied.
He and Ronnie Anne and Lori then give their little niece/cousin a warm hug. Lisa hesitated at first, but smiled and hugged back.
"Well, I have to say, happiness actually feels nice," Lisa replied and they then break off from the hug, and the three then leave the room.
Meanwhile, in the twins' room, Lola was on her bed, still angry at how the ordeal turned out. And at the same time, she was also guilty for her "joke".
"This whole ordeal was the worst idea I ever had. I didn't mean to be such a jerk to the others..." Lola said sadly while Lana walked into the room, but didn't look at her twin. Instead, she just climbed on her bed, as her frog, Hops, jumped on next to her. That's when Lola got an idea, and it was a good one, "That's it! Lana, get the girls in here! Quick!"
"Why should I? You were the one that gave us this karma!" Lana growled at Lola.
"GET EVERYONE HERE BEFORE I GLITTER-FY YOUR TOOLBOX!" Lola screamed at Lana.
"Very well, Lola," Lana replied as she hops off her bed and walks out of the room, before Lola lets out a sigh as she calmed down.
"I gotta stop getting that angry..." Lola looked down.
Soon, all of the girls except Lori, were in the twins' room. Bobby even joined in.
"Okay, Lols. Lana brought us here like you wanted," Luna explained angrily.
"Now, what is it that you require?" Lisa asked.
"Guys, I got the perfect idea to apologize to Lincoln and Lori, AND give him peace and quiet too!" Lola explained.
"If this is another joke, I'm gonna..." Luan tried to explain but...
"SHUT UP ABOUT THE JOKE! Just huddle up and I'll explain," Leni explained before the sisters roll their eyes and do so, being a bit skeptical about Lola, "Okay, this is it... Everyone, I think we should make a tree house for Lori and her kids as an apology for the earbud incident."
After explaining the idea, the girls were surprised.
"That's... actually a really good idea, Lola," Lucy said in surprise.
"Yeah, no kidding," Lynn said in surprise.
"Didn't expect an idea like this to come out you," Luan said in surprise.
"Watch it, Luan," Lola commented.
"You want to make a tree house for Lori and Lincoln?" Lana asked in surprise.
"Of course we will," Lola replied.
"That's a perfect idea, Lola! I think that she and the kids will love it!" Bobby replied happily.
"I literally agree," Leni agreed.
"Lana, do we have enough materials?" Lola faced Lana.
"Let me check," Lana checks around to see if there are enough materials to make a tree house. She opens the closet, and a TON of mahogany wood falls onto her, "Well, we got enough wood."
"And what about tools?" Lola asked before Lana pokes her head out of the pile, a board on her head with her toolbox on said board.
"Those, we're gonna need a bit more of if we're all going to build this together. I've only got enough tools for one person," Lana replied.
"We'll do that around the end of the week, probably around Thursday," Lola declared.
"Right," Lana replied as she climbed out of the pile.
Thursday, July 10, 1986
Three days later, Lori and Lincoln were sitting on the couch, wrapping up a movie.
"Well, that's it, the entire original Star Wars trilogy in just one sitting, something I thought we'd NEVER accomplish in this house," Lincoln replied.
"You know, it's been nice having all this quiet around the house, I've been able to do all the things I could never do without my sisters driving a steak through it," Lori said to th viewers, "But, if I am completely honest, it's starting to feel a little lonesome without all the chaos. It seems that Lincoln and I are just not use to all this quiet and can't wait for everything to go back to normal, which is no problem, because this is the last day of their grounding, but, we're also a little scared by the idea. Lincoln and I have been able to do all of our favorite things around the house while they stayed in their rooms without doing much of theirs'. If they thought we were ignoring them a week ago, we're almost certain they'd think we were rubbing my freedom in their faces. So, tomorrow morning, when we get out of bed, I think that Lincoln, Bobby and I are all gonna prepare for the worst."
Once Lori finished, she and Lincoln get up and stretch, due to being on the couch for a while.
"Man, I was on that couch for a while," Lincoln commented.
"Me too, son. It was such a relief," Lori replied stretching before they hear someone tripping and wood hitting the ground on their left and they both face their left, but there was no one there.
"Weird... thought I heard some trip and drop wood," Lincoln said in surprise.
"Huh. Nobody's around at the moment," Lori replied.
In the front yard, Leni and Luna make their way to the front yard tree with the wood.
"That was close. Little bros almost saw us," Luna replied, before a plank fell on Leni's foot and she screamed in pain, "You okay, Leni?"
"Not really. The wood landed on my foot," Leni said as she shook her foot.
They soon reach the others, where the other tools and wood were gathered at the tree with them.
"Hey! You two made it!" Luan exclaimed.
"Are you alright, Leni?" Bobby asked.
"Not really. I tripped and the wood just literally landed on my foot," Leni replied.
"Ouch. You think you'll be able to help out?" Lynn winced a bit.
"I'll be fine, Lynn," Leni said as she fought through the slight pain before Lola got the girls' attention.
"Okay, guys. We got rest of the week to get this tree house ready!" Lola exclaimed.
"Then let's get to work!" Lana exclaimed.
"Right!" they all nodded.
The girls begin to get to work on Lori and Lincoln's new tree house. Heavy tool bang and wood moving or cutting is heard as the montage of them building the treehouse set to "Sunshine in Hawaii". Hours later, they were all exhausted from putting all the wood and nails together.
"Okay, everyone! That's it for today!" Lola rubbed her exhausted hands, "Owww..."
It pans up to show that the floor of the treehouse was done.
"Well, the floor is done at least..." Leni replied very exhaustingly.
"Yeah... that's good enough for the first day..." Luna replied very exhaustingly.
"Now we all need baths... and I WANT one..." Lana replied very exhaustingly.
"Wow, That's surprising, Lana..." Bobby said in surprise very exhaustingly.
"You want a BATH, Lana?!" Lola said in surprise.
"I can limit how dirty I wanna be in a day... This is breaking it..." Lana replied very exhaustingly.
"Man... I'm beat..." Lynn replied very exhaustingly.
The sisters, plus Bobby then head inside the house to get clean.
Later that night, Rita, Lynn Sr, Lori, Lincoln, Ronnie Anne and Lily, in their PJs, were the only ones at the dining table and Lori was drinking a cup of water and Lily was in her lap.
"Hey, uh... where is everybody?" Ronnie Anne asked after she and Lincoln looked around.
"Well, they all had baths, then went straight to bed," Rita replied.
"Do any of you know why?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"Not sure, kiddo," Lynn Sr. replied.
"Hmmm, I actually know why," Lori explained.
"What's that, Mom? You do?" Lincoln and Ronnie Anne both asked Lori in surprise.
"Yeah, I'm guessing it's because they were acting weird," Lori explained.
"Big sistews acting weir," Lily babbled in Lori's lap.
"I kinda agree with that, guys," Lincoln agreed.
Friday, July 11, 1986
That morning, Lynn Sr. came into Lori's room, where she, Lily, Ronnie Anne, Lincoln and Bobby were in.
"Guys, breakfast is..." but Lynn Sr. stopped in confusion as he saw Lori and Lincoln in an armor of pillows, "Uh, what are you both doing?
"Just getting ready for the day, sir," Lincoln answered.
"Yeah, Dad, we're getting ready," Lori answered.
"Ummm, mind explaining the need for the pillow armor?" Lynn Sr. raised an eyebrow.
"Well, we've been able to do all our favorite things around the house while my sisters, except Lisa, stayed in their rooms without doing much of theirs," Lori explained, "And if they thought we were ignoring them back on Sunday, we're almost certain they'd think we were rubbing our freedom in their faces."
"Guys, please take the pillows off," Lynn Sr. replied to them and Lincoln hesitates, but he and Lori slowly do so. They then sit on the bed with Lynn Sr, which was another thing he asked then to do.
"Guys, if you're worried that your sisters may be mad at you, then you're overreacting with pillows," Lynn Sr. complied in worry.
"I guess you're right, Dad," Lori replied.
"Uh-huh," Lincoln replied.
"Besides, they should know that you aren't one that would rub in freedom. Junior, I could see her being like that. But you and your kid? Ha. Never in a million years," Lynn Sr. explained.
"You... do have a point," Lincoln realized.
"Yeah, what he said," Lori agreed.
"C'mon. Let's go enjoy breakfast," Lynn Sr. suggested as everyone else stood up.
"Okay," Lincoln replied.
After Lori, her boyfriend, kids and father all walk out of the room, they came downstairs to the dining room where breakfast was being served by Rita. There, they saw their family who haven't even begun eating.
"It's about time you got down here, we were getting hungry," Lynn said depressingly.
"Sorry about that, let's dig in," Lincoln replied and the siblings started eating breakfast, and after a minute, one of them broke the silence.
"So, Lori, Lincoln, did you both enjoy your past few days of quiet?" Lola asked softly.
"For the most of it, yes. It was nice being able to do what we want without interruption," Lincoln said softly.
"But man, did we miss all the craziness around here," Lori said softly as she drank her cup of sweet tea.
"Lola, do you think we should tell them?" Lana asked Lola.
"Let's wait until we're done with the project," Lola replied softly.
Later, Lori and Lincoln in their normal clothing, were in her room reading one of their comic books, when they heard Rita call out.
"Lily! Take five, everyone. I need to let Luna put Lily down for her nap," Rita called out as Luna sets Lily in her crib, put the earbuds in her ears and turned them on, putting the baby into a deep blissful sleep, they went into the twins' room and shouted out the window. As expected, Lily didn't hear a thing.
"Okay, carry on. Well, that was actually a good idea buying those earbuds, you two," Rita said happily.
"Uh, yeah. I just wish we'd bought them in a different situation," Lori replied.
That's when they heard the sound of handiwork outside.
"What's going on outside?" Lincoln asked.
"Why is there so much wood being nailed in outside?" Lori asked.
"Oh, the girls are working on a project in the front yard. Don't go out there yet, they'll let you know when it's done," Rita explained.
"I hope Lola's not still mad at us," Lincoln said with worry.
"Yeah, I really hope not," Lori said with worry.
"Trust me, young lady. She won't be," Rita explained.
"Well, if you say so, mother..." Lori said softly.
Later, they were watching some news, when Lana came in.
"Hey, Lincoln, hey Lori, there's something out in the front yard we want you both to see," Lana suggested.
"Um, okay," Lincoln replied.
"But first, you gotta close your eyes," Ronnie Anne said and Lori and Lincoln proceed to do so.
"Alright then, lead the way, Lana. It's all you and Ronnie Anne," Lori replied as she and Lincoln both followed Lana into the front yard where the rest of the sisters were waiting for him and Lori, "Okay, we're here."
"Okay, you two. Open them up," Ronnie Anne commanded.
Once Lori and Lincoln opened their eyes, the sisters smiled and simply pointed to the top of the tree where they found something that surprised them. It happened to be a tree house that had a large balcony, a second floor with wooden stairs, windows, and wooden pillars. The Ace Savvy emblem was under the first floor's 3 windows, and there was also a bell hanging off a rope on a pulley beside it. Upon this, Lori and Lincoln were both at a loss for words.
"Wha... What is this?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"We made you and your mother a tree house," Bobby explained.
"Y-You did...?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"Of course we did!" Lola explained softly.
"This way, you guys can both have some quiet and privacy while keeping your ears open," Luna explained.
"Wow, I don't know what to say. Thanks, guys," Lincoln said happily.
"Well, credit is where credit is due. It was actually Lola's idea," Leni said happily.
"Lola?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"Yes. You see, I heard what you said about Lily needing those earbuds more than any of us, and that made me feel guilty about what I did to you last week. So, I decided to do something to make it up to you both and give you what you wanted. I thought a tree house would be the best solution," Lori explained softly.
Lori and Lincoln smiled, and they both hugged Lola tightly.
"Thank you so much, Lola! Mom and I both love it!" Lincoln said happily and Lola then smiles, and returns the hug to her cousin Lincoln and aunt Lori.
"Anytime, guys," Lola said softly and they then take another look at the tree house.
"Wow, and all of you worked hard on this?" Lincoln said in surprise.
"Wow, I had no idea it would get done so quickly," Lori said in surprise.
"Actually, nine of us did, but we can't say one of us didn't at least try," Lucy explained.
Flashback starts with Lola trying to hammer a nail in, but sends the plank flying and hitting someone in the head.
"OW!" Lana screamed.
"Sorry, Lana!" Lola flinched.
"Yeah, I don't see you "nailing" that in," Luan replied.
Later, Bobby, Leni, Luna and Ronnie Anne are standing by the shed surrounded by nails making an outline around each of them.
"Eep!" Leni shivered.
"Maybe you should stay away from the nail gun..." Luna replied to Lola.
It then pans over to show Lola, holding the nail gun with a sheepish look on her face.
"Sorry."
Finally, it shows Lola cutting up some wood with a chainsaw as she took off the chainsaw mask.
"Okay, this section's ready!" Lola called and it quickly zooms out to show Lynn, Lucy, and Lisa a few feet beside her.
"Uh... Lola..." all of a sudden, there was a crack, then the sound of wood collapsing with Lynn, Lucy, and Lisa falling and screaming on it, "WRONG SECTIOOOOOOON!" Lisa screamed as she, Lynn and Lucy all fell before a loud crash is heard which widens Lola's eyes and she hides the chainsaw behind her back.
Returns to the present where Lola is seen twiddling her fingers with a deep blush on her cheeks.
"Don't get us wrong, guys. Lola really did try to help," Leni explained in worry.
"Trust me, Lincoln and I both know that," Lori replied.
"She is the one that tied the string holding the bell, so that's just as good as the hard stuff," Lynn explained.
"We put the bell on it so we can get your attention when we need or want you," Lana explained.
"That's a really good idea, probably the best yet. You really put some effort into making it up to me and Lincoln," Lori said softly.
"When you had those earbuds on, I thought neither of you cared about us, but leaving those earbuds with Lily proved to me that you both actually do. I just had to do something big to apologize," Lola said softly.
"Well, Mom and I both accept your apology, Lola," Lincoln replied.
"Thank you, guys," Lola said softly and Lincoln went down on his knees and hugged Lola, which she returned as the rest of the sisters joined in.
Later that night, Lincoln and his mother Lori, in their PJs, were in the 1st floor of their new tree house, reading an Ace Savvy comic. Inside was a bunch of furniture (including a chair by the window, a table, etc.), a ladder to the second floor, and even carpet. It even had a little kitchen, oven and all.
"Now this is peaceful," Lincoln said happily.
"Wow, neither of us had any idea how our family was able to make a kitchen, but I'm not complaining," Lori said happily as she glanced at the kitchen.
They set their comics down and look at the beautiful night sky out the window.
"Man, it's so beautiful outside," Lincoln said happily.
"And the girls did an amazing job on this tree house!" Lori said happily as they look around.
The bell is then heard ringing from the pulley. Lori and Lincoln look out of the balcony, and sees Lola and Ronnie Anne, in their PJs, pulling the rope to the bell.
"What's up, Lola?" Lincoln asked loudly.
"Hey, guys! Pizza's here!" Lola called waving.
"Really?!" Lincoln said in surprise.
"Yeah, Linc! It's here! It just arrived at our doorstep!" Ronnie Anne called down below.
"Well, all right, girls! We'll be down in a second!" Lori called.
With that, Ronnie Anne and Lola runs back inside as they both pulled a cord that extended a slide from the back of the tree house before they both slide down. Once they reach the bottom, they head up the porch stairs and stop at the front door.
"Ah, what a day," Lincoln said relaxingly.
"You know, if you have a problem, don't try to avoid it, especially if your family has the same problem. It definitely helps to keep your ears open when someone needs your help. And definitely don't try something to "teach someone a lesson", both just might bite you in the backside," Lori explained before she opens the front door, they both walk in, and she closes the door behind him.
