It was Thursday, July 31, 1986 in the Loud House as anoth summer day was passing by. Inside the house, Lori was in the living room watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High on their 27-inch television.

On the television screen, Stacy was taking the initiative, rubbing her hands through Damone's hair, rubbing his sides, kissing his neck, then pulling away.

Stacy then whispered to Damone, "Why don't you take off your clothes, Mike?"

"You first," Damone said to her.

"How about both of us at the same time?" Stacy asked Damone.

Damone nods in response and watches as Stacy unhooks her top and steps out of her bikini bottom. She then stands up in the shadows of the afternoon sun before she sits down on a red changing room couch, and gathers her legs up to her chest and watches as Damone struggles with his clothes. While hopping on leg, Damone pulls first out of his pants, then his jockey underwear. Bashfully, he goes to sit next to Stacy on the couch. The two then begin to kiss, and it quickly escalates into heavy petting before Stacy pulls away.

"I want you to know that it's your final decision if we should continue or not," Stacy suggested.

"Let's continue," Damone replied before Stacy leans back and pulls him on top of her.

Back in the living room, Lori's eyes widen as she moves a little closer.

"Ooooh, yeah. That feels good," Lori said to herself.

Suddenly, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne came up to Lori.

"Hi, Mom. Whatcha doing?" Ronnie Anne asked Lori.

Lori then suddenly screams upon the presence of Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, "Ahhh! Ronnie! Lincoln!" and she immediately changes the channel to a football game.

"Sorry, kids, I uh... I was just looking for the sports channel," Lori said nervously.

Suddenly, a knock is heard on the door.

"Come on in!" Lori answered upon the knock.

It turns out that Lana came in the front door, with a new pair of blue tennis shoes in her hands.

"Hey, Lori, wanna see my new shoes?" Lana said as she sows Lori her new blue tennis shoes.

"Wow! Those are great, Lana!" Lori said happily, "Let's see what they look like on your feet."

"All right, let's see if they fit me," Lana replied as she put her new tennis shoes on, "Okay, nice. They actually look real good on me."

"Okay then, let's see if we can get those great new shoes tied up," Lori said to Lana.

"Uh, actually... I have a confession to make," Lana said as she looks to see that no one is watching then she leans to Lori's ear and whispers, "Lori, I don't know how to tie my shoelaces.

"What, you don't know how to tie them?" Lori said to Lana.

"No, I don't Lori," Lana replied.

"Here, I'll show you, "Lori said as she placed Lana's foot on the chair, "Look at this knot. Have you ever seen a more perfectly executed shoe-fastening bow?"

"Gosh... Probably not," Lana replied.

"Well, let's be honest, Lana. I learned how to tie my own shoes when I was a little girl your age, Lana," Lori explained, "And I'm willing to pass on what I know. Watch and learn as an old professional like me shows you how to do it."

With that, Lana sits down in the chair and Lori sets her foot on the couch.

"Pay close attention, Lana," Lori said as she starts to untie her laces, "Well, you start by taking one lace per hand... " and she pulls a little on both laces, "And then you... Uh, you gotta... Loop the, the..."

"Lori, are you sure you know how to do it?" Lana asked Lori.

"Lana, please, shoe-tying requires peace and quiet," Lori said to Lana, "Okay, where was I?"

"Lori, your shoes are still untied," Lana said and it turns out Lori has not tied her laces.

"Oh, well..." Lori said as she looks away, "I guess you don't want me to show you how to do it."

"I'm sorry!" Lana screamed as she covers her mouth with her hands, "I won't interrupt anymore!"

"Okay, I've got it, Lana!" Lori then explained, "The first rule of shoe-tying is always start with your right foot. Now the lesson will officially begin," and she sets her right foot on the couch and unties her laces.

Lori then ties her laces up, but they come undone. She laughs nervously and tries again, but the laces untie themselves once more. Lori smiles sheepishly at Lana while she glares at her, "That's... "knot" right," Lori laughs nervously, "Get it? Knot... right... hmm...

"No," Lana said grumpily.

"Okay, no more fooling around," Lori replied as she tries to tie the laces again," I've got it!" and she lifts up her hands to show his fingers tied in a lot of knots.

"Damn it! My hands are all tied up now!" Lori said to herself in anger.

"What was that? Are you okay, Lori?" Lana asked Lori nervously.

Suddenly, Lori looks angry at Lana, "Lana, aren't you late for something?" Lori asked her in a stern voice.

"Oh, I got to feed my animal pets, You're right!" Lana replied as she runs and bursts upstairs, "We'll have to do this lesson later!"

"Aw man, I can't believe I've forgotten how to tie my own shoes," Lori said dejectedly, "They've been tied for as long as I can remember."

A cutaway gag with Lori as a little girl with her shoes perfectly tied lasts for a few moments before it cuts back to Lori in the living room.

"Well, I guess I'll be able to remember after a good night's sleep tonight," Lori finished.

Later that night, Lori, now in her sleepwear, was climbing into her bed with Bobby and Lori had a sad look on her face and looked away as she laid her head down.

"Lori, is something wrong?" Bobby asked her quietly.

"No. I just had a pretty rough day," Lori said quietly, "I just hope that tomorrow will be a better day."

Well, all right, then," Bobby said softly before he and Lori shared a goodnight kiss before they started falling asleep, "Good night, Lori."

"Good night, honey," Lori finished as she turned off the bedroom lamp as she went to sleep with Bobby.

Friday, August 1, 1986

The next morning at the Loud House, the sun is rising and the rooster crows everyone up. Inside the house, Lori was still sleeping in her bed with Bobby. While sleeping with him, the clock turns to 6:30 A.M. and the alarm goes off. Once the alarm goes off, Lori wakes up stretching her arms and then turns her alarm clock off. Lori then got out of bed and puts on her normal shoes and they are still untied.

"Oh... No big deal," Lori said to herself, "I'll remember sooner or later."

Later, after she ate her breakfast, Lori changed into her work uniform and she went out the front door.

"Because I am ready!" Lori shouted in happiness, "I'm... read..." and she takes a step and trips "...y!" and she stands up, "I'm read..." and she takes another step and trips "...Ooh!" and she stands up, "I'm read..." and she takes another step and trips "...Uh!" and she stands up, "I'm read..." and she takes another step and trips "...Ooy! I'm read... Doy! I'm read... Doy! I'm read... Uh! I'm read... Doy! I'm read... Doy! I'm read... Duh!"

And it repeats a few times for Lori on her way to work at Gus's Games N' Grub. Luckily, she makes it to her wokplace. But inside, Leni and Lana were sitting at a booth. Lori then tripped through the doors once she entered and Leni and Lana noticed them.

"Oh, hi, Lori," Leni and Lana greeted Lori.

Lori then gasped and said to herself, "Oh, no! I can't let them see I still haven't tied my shoes!"

Once she finished, she stands up and started sliding her shoes across the floor.

"You look different, Lori," Leni said to Lori, "Have you been dieting?"

"Well, a young woman like me has to look her best while at work," Lori said as she walks to the kitchen moving her shoes across the floor, "Well, I have to get to work right now!"

With that, Lori opens the kitchen door and she suddenly plops on the floor, face first. She grunts; then talks muffled by the fact that she hasn't stood up yet and is talking straight into the floor, "Goddamn it! Maybe I should just lay here."

Jeffrey then peeks his head through the order window and said, "Well, these burgers and dogs aren't going to cook themselves, Lori."

"Jeffrey's right! Got to make... those burgers and hot dogs!" Lori said as she holds out a spatula and gets up, "Laces or no laces!" and she crawls over to the grill while grunting, "Ah... I just have to stand in this one spot," and she make a cheeseburger, "Ta-da! A perfect cheeseburger.

"Alright, Lori, hand it over," Jeffrey commanded Lori, "Well?"

Lori takes a deep breath. then she imagines that Jeffrey is really far away. She also imagines her shoelaces as snakes that squeeze her then the hallucination goes away.

Lori then got an idea and told Jeffrey, "Hey, Jeffrey, I've got an idea! How about you come and get it for me?"

"Oh, gee, Lori, that's a great idea," Jeffrey said sarcastically, "And maybe I should cook the patties, and do the dishes, and wear that stupid uniform of yours, and live in the Loud House, while you live in the retirement home with your grandfather!

"No!" Lori denied.

"Then bring that patty here now!" Jeffrey demanded.

"Okay, Jeffrey. Here I come. I'm coming over," Lori said as she begins to scoot her feet across the kitchen floor inch by inch, "I'm bringing the patty to you. Here comes the patty. No problem. I'm walking...this burger here...over to Jeffrey. All right, Jeffrey. I'm giving you the patty... For the hungry customer... So they can eat it... When I give it to you... Which is right... now.

But it turns out that that Lori never moved.

"Uh, Lori? I'm over here! Now move!" Jeffrey yelled at his co-worker.

"Okay, Jeffrey," Lori said as she looks down at her feet, "Just slowly move your leg. Walk over there... with the..." and she tries to take a step but trips herself and sends the patty flying through the air at Jeffrey.

"Lori!" Jeffrey screamed as the patty lands in his mouth.

"I'm sorry, Jeffrey," Lori begged Jeffrey.

"Lori!" Jeffrey yelled after chewing the patty.

"I'll just make another!" Lori yelled as she makes another patty, but trips again throwing the patty towards Jeffrey.

"Lorraine!" Jeffrey yelled before another burger enters his mouth.

"Hold it..." Lori said as she makes another burger before suddenly she trips again, sending the burger into Jeffrey's mouth again, "Let me just..." and she makes another patty before she trips again and launches another burger a couple more times and it continues for a while.

Pretty soon, Jeffrey is extremely huge and a group of customers is standing at the register before Miguel pokes him..

"All right! Big guy! What is all the holdup?" Miguel complained.

Jeffrey then turns around and belches really loudly.

"I think my heart just stopped," Jeffrey replied before the customers started complaining, "It's Lorr..." he burps interruptingly, "...aine's fault!

Suddenly, 'Loraine's fault' echoes in Lori's head.

Lori then starts to tear up in sadness, "I've failed. My career is over. I'm sorry, spatula," and she puts down the spatula and takes her hat off, "I'm sorry, hat," then she puts it back on," I'm sorry, floor," then takes a box of Ground Beef patties and a package of wieners from the wall and brings it to her and hugs it, "I am sorry, my sweet little burgers and wieners," before she lies on the floor in a fetus position.

In the bathroom, Mr. Gamesngrub was on the toilet working on a crossword puzzle, all of the answers he has given is the word "Money".

"Let's see, a five-letter word for happiness. Money." Mr. Gamesngrub said as he laughs

"This is the worst service we've ever had so far!" Chaz complained.

"Yeah, we're going to the Burpin' Burger!" Mollie agreed as they all started to leave.

Alerted upon this Mr. Gamesngrub opens the bathroom door to see what the problem is.

"Wait! Wait! Don't go!" Mr. Gamesngrub screamed as it turns out that his pants are on the ground.

"Oh yeah, we are definitely out of here," Harold McBride replied as the customers continue to complain.

Mr. Gamesngrub immediately runs over to the door, his pants are still on the ground.

"Wait! Wait, don't go! That's my money walking out the door!" Mr. Gamesngrub screamed before he turned his attention to Jeffrey, "What's the meaning of this, Mr. Jeffrey?"

"It's Lori's fault," Jeffrey said grumpily to his boss.

This causes Mr. Gamesngrub to get very angry as his eyes turn into steamboat whistles.

Mr. Gamesngrub then screamed out in anger, "LORRAINE MARIE LOUD, GET OUT HERE!"

Lori then peeks out the kitchen door.

"More!" Mr. Gamesngrub said angrily as Lori peeks out a little more, "More!" before she stretches herself partially through the door before he screamed, "ALL THE WAY, YOUNG LADY!"

This causes Lori to snap out of the door and falls to the ground.

"What is the matter with you, Lorraine?!" Mr. Gamesngrub screamed at Lori, "I ought to make you do community service for this!"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Gamesngrub," Lori pleaded to her boss, "It's just that I... I...

"Yes?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked her.

"I... I... I... I... I... I..." Lori stuttered.

"Yes, yes, yes?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked her still.

"I... I... I... I... I..." Lori still stuttered.

"Out with it, Lori!" Mr. Gamesngrub screamed as he shakes Lori, "What is it?"

"I forgot how to tie my shoes," Lori screamed at her boss in fear.

"What? You forgot how to tie your shoes?" Mr. Gamesngrub said in shock.

"Yeah, I did!" Lori then asked her boss, "Do you think you have a good pair that will replace these untied shoes during my work time?"

"Hmm, a replacement pair," Mr. Gamesngrub thought to himself then spoke to Lori, "Yes, Lori, I do have a pair that shall replace your untied shoes. Come, let me show you."

With that, Lori and her boss went to her boss's office, and came up to his desk.

"All right, Lorraine, my girl. Are you ready for your new replacement pair?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked.

"I'm ready, boss," Lori replied.

"Okay, Lori. Here comes your replacement shoes," Mr. Gamesngrub said as he pulled out the replacement pair from under the desk which turns out to be a pair of roller skates.

Suddenly, Lori goes from shy to happy upon seeing that her replacement shoes are actually roller skates.

"Whoa! Roller skates for work?! No way!" Lori said happily.

"So do you like this new pair?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked her.

"Oh my god! I love them!" Lori said happily as she gazed at her new roller skates for work, "With those, I'll be able to get my job done faster. Mr. Gamesngrub, I'll take them!"

"All right then, Lori. These roller skates are all yours," Mr. Gamesngrub agreed as Lori took off her untied shoes and put on her new roller skates. Once she stood up, she was about to slip and fall but she quickly maintained her balance.

"Wow, I got to say! These roller skates are quite nice," Lori said happily whily maintaining her balance.

"Well, that's great of you, Lori," Mr. Gamesngrub said to Lori, "Now go get them customers back for me!"

"Will do, boss!" Lori saluted as she left the office.

Outside in the main area, Lori came out of her boss's office, now wearing her new roller skates, ready to bring the customers back.

"All right, boss! Time to get those customers back! And my new roller skates will do the trick!" Lori said bravely as she used her new roller skates to head to the kitchen.

Once she entered the kitchen, Lori got to her fry cook business right away as she went right to the freezer, opens it up and gets out a Ground Beef patty between two pieces of paper. Once done, she brings it to the grill and removes the top piece of paper.

"Ooh-wah!" Lori shouted as she crumples up the piece of paper and throws it into the garbage can, which on the other side of the room. Once done, she puts the patty on the grill on the side that does not have paper on it, before removing the remaining piece of paper, as she crumples it up and throws it into the garbage can as well.

Once she finished, Lori got to work on the dishes, as she cleaned up the dirty dishes in soapy water, including the plates, cups, and silverwear. After getting the job done, Lori returned to the grill, with the spatula now back in her hand.

"All right! Here comes the next side!" Lori shouted in happiness as she flipped the patty, put the spatula in her pocket and rolls out of the kitchen and into the main dining area with her roller skates on where a bucket and mop are prepared.

"Now let's clean up that floor!" Lori said happily as she started mopping up the floor all the way from the doorway up to the kitchen area, made very easy with her roller skates on.

Outside, Mollie was surprised to see that Lori was back in business with her new roller skates.

"Is that...?!" Mollie then called for everybody, "Hey, everybody! Lori Loud's actually doing her job now!"

Other people including Bobby, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne heard Mollie and became surprised and happy to see the young woman working again as they went inside the restaurant/arcade and saw her heading back to the kitchen since she already finished mopping up the floor.

"Time to finish up the job!" Lori said bravely as she returned to the kitchen and gets her spatula out and takes the patty off the grill before she stops near a counter with containers consisting of ingredients for a burger.

Once in the kitchen, Lori got to work and she makes two halves of a cheeseburger.

"Hmmmm, something's missing," Lori said to herself before she realizes what's missing and roller skates towards a cabinet with pickles and opens it. Once there, she picks which one it is and takes it," Aha! August 11th," and she shakes the jar, opens the lid, slurps some of the pickle juice, evaluates it in her mouth, and returns it to the jar," Fine month for pickles."

With that, Lori goes back to the counter and adds two pickles and adds a slice of lettuce which was on the other side of the patty and then connects both halves, and with that, she exits from the kitchen with the fully-made Cheeseburger.

"Our squeaky-clean Games N' Grub area is back in business!" Lori said happily.

Everyone applauded upon Lori back in business thanks to her new roller skates.

"Wow. You got on some nice roller skates, Lori," Mollie explained.

"Why thank you, Mollie," Lori replied, "I think they make a great pair of work shoes."

"Wow, Lori. Those new roller skates you got on will help get your waitress chore done faster here at this pizzeria," Clyde commented.

"Gee, thank you," Lori said softly, "Anyway, does anybody want this perect cheeseburger on a pristine plate?"

"I do! Pick me! I want the burger! I'd like to have it!" All the customers begged to Lori.

Lori then cleared her throat.

"All right. For the person to have this perfect cheeseburger, I choose..." Lori paused for a few moments before she points to Lincoln, "LINCOLN LOUD! YOU ARE THE ONE TO HAVE THIS PERFECT CHEESEBURGER!"

"YES! WOO-HOO!" Lincoln cheered as he ran right up to Lori and took the perfect cheeseburger his mother made and started eating it. While he eats it, he becomes very happy and starts to really like it, "Mmmm. This is so freaking good, that I'd like to try a second bite of this burger!" and he then takes another bite of the cheeseburger, "Mmmm. So good and delicious. Quite a rare delicacy, too."

"Man, oh, man, do I love my job!" Lori said happily to herself.

"Mom! That was the best burger I have ever eaten! I've never seen a burger that's been cooked with this high amount of perfection! Thank you for giving me this burger!" Lincoln said happily as he hugs Lori, "I love you, Mom!"

"I love you too, sweetheart," Lori said softly to Lincoln as she hugs him back.

And all the customers and staff including Jeffrey applaud upon Lori putting her family first before her.

"Wow, Lori actually cares about her child," Jeffrey said apologetically.

"I don't believe this! My ears are about to ring with money!" Mr. Gamesngrub said happily.

"Hey, Lori. I'd like two chili dogs for me and Dana with a serving of nachos for both of us," Carol suggested.

They all started getting out some money and started waving it in the air as more people started entering waving money up high in their hand, requesting orders for Lori.

"Two fresh burgers for me and Chaz, please!" Leni suggested, "And make two small ones for the twins as well!"

"I want a fresh cheeseburger with extra crispy fries!" Whitney suggested.

"One fresh sausage and pepperoni pizza for me and Jordan, please!" Mollie suggested.

"I want some fresh chili dogs with curly fries!" Margo suggested.

"I need two cheeseburgers now with extra fries! Save one for Luan!" Benny suggested.

"Luna and I want a cheese pizza with extra mozzarella sticks now!" Sam suggested.

"I want two freshly cooked hot dogs with extra chili!" Ronnie Anne suggested.

"One sausage pizza for me, Mom, Dad and Lynn, please!" Clyde suggested.

"Whooooo's hungryyyyy?!" Lori shouted and everyone cheers in response, "All right, time for me to get to the kitchen and get those orders cooking!"

With that, Lori roller skated over to Jeffrey.

"Jeffrey, we got a big round of orders coming up!" Lori shouted to Jeffrey.

"WHAT?!" Jeffrey asked in shock.

"You heard the manager, Jeffrey!" Mr. Gamesngrub shouted in agreement with Lori, "Show him the orders, Lori!"

Lori then wrote down the orders, one by one, "Two large burgers for Leni and Chaz and two small burgers for the twins! One cheeseburger with extra crispy fries for Whitney! One sausage and pepperoni pizza for Mollie and Jordan! Two fresh chili dogs with curly fries for Margo! Two cheeseburgers with extra fries for Luan and Benny! A cheese pizza with mozzarella sticks for Luna and Sam! Two freshly cooked chili dogs for my kids! And a sausage pizza for Clyde, his mom and dad, and Lynn!"

"Oh boy, I'm gonna be tired," Jeffrey moaned.

"To the kitchen!" Lori shouted as she roller skated to the kitchen to prepare their orders.

"Okay, time to get those orders cooking up!" Lori commanded as she started cooking up the food for the hungry customers, including frying up the burgers on the grill and hot dogs on the rollers, cooking up pizza in the oven, cooking up fries and mozzarella sticks in the fryer and serving nachos, chili for the hot dogs and soft drinks.

"Okay, food's starting to cook up!" Lori said to herself before she looked at the orders, "First up, two large burgers for Leni and Chaz and two small burgers for the twins!" and she starts becoming cheerful, "Oh boy! This is going to be a fun work day!"

With that, Lori started cooking up four burgers, placing two large patties and two small patties on the grill.

"First order is cooking up right away!' Lori said happily as she was feeling happy that the roller skates were helping her get the job faster.

About a few minutes later, after Lori placed the patties on the grill and they cooked up on one side, they were ready to be flipped to the other side.

"One side is done on all four patties!" Lori said to herself happily, "And it's on to the other side!"

Once done, Lori flipped all four patties on the grill and she focues on the other patty that she was cooking at the same time.

Lori then thought to herself, "Hmmm, perhaps I might prepare the next order while I do the first order."

About a minute later, Lori decided to prepare the next order at the same time, placing another patty on the grill, while grabbing some french fries and putting them in the deep fryer.

Afterwards, she started setting up the condiments along with the buns, and prepares the cheese sauce for nachos and marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks.

Once done, Lori got out a large plate with four hamburger buns, opened up the buns, and she placed the four patties onto their respective buns before roller skating to the condiment section, and put all the ingredients on each burger, including the cheese and pickles before connecting all the halves together.

"Two large burgers and two small burgers, up!" Lori exclaimed as she roller skated out to the dining room area and served the four burgers to Leni, Chaz and the twins.

"Thank you, Lori!" Leni said happily.

"Yeah, thank you very much!" Chas said happily.

"You're welcome!" Lori said happily before she roller skated back on to the kitchen to cook up the next order.

For the next few minutes while Lori was cooking up the food, she was organizing the clean dishes while the grill and deep fryer were cooking up the burger and fries.

Suddenly, while Lori was organizing the dishes, Jeffrey popped his head into the kitchen, calling for Lori.

"Lori, where's the cheeseburger with extra crispy fries?" Jeffrey asked Lori.

"Just one moment, Jeffrey, I got to finish organizing the clean dishes," Lori said to Jeffrey.

"Come on, Lori. I'm waiting for the next order," Jeffrey demanded.

"Okay, Jeffrey! One hamburger coming right up!" Lori said bravely before she lifts up the patty up with her spatula, "Here comes the patty!"

And Lori roller skates over to the condiment table where a bottom bun was on a plate and places the patty on the bottom bun.

"Come on, Lori!" Jeffrey demanded to Lori.

"Next up, the condiments for a burger!" Lori explained as she placed all the condiments on a burger while speaking Spanish, "Primero queso, seguido de ketchup, mostaza y pepinillos, lechuga, tomate, cebolla y panecillo. Todos juntos en ese orden."

"Will you quit fooling around, Lori?" Jeffrey demanded Lori, "Where's that burger with fries for Whits?"

"Hold on a second, mi amigo!" Lori called as she picked the plate up that had the complete cheeseburger and roller skated over to the deep fryer where the fries were being cooked. Once there, she grabbed the frying basket that had the fries in it and placed the fries onto the plate with the cheeseburger.

"One cheeseburger with extra crispy fries for Whitney, up!" Lori screamed as she roller skated out to the dining room area with the cheeseburger and fries on a plate.

"Thank you, dear waitress Lori," Whitney replied softly as she took the plate that had the cheeseburger and fries.

"You're welcome, Whitney!" Lori said happily before suddenly...

"One sausage and pepperoni pizza for Mollie and Jordan, Lori!" Jeffrey called for Lori.

"Uh oh! I better get going with my work!' Lori said in fear before she roller skated back to the kitchen to make a pepperoni and sausage pizza for Mollie and Jordan.

"Twelfth Street Rag" started playing as Lori continued on with the orders. In the process of the order, Lori grabbed the pizza dough and made it round before putting tomato sauce on it followed by cheese, then pepperoni and sausage before putting it in the oven.

A few minutes later, the pizza comes out perfect with the cheese all melted as Lori pulled the pizza out of the kitchen oven and placed it in a pizza box.

"One pepperoni and sausage pizza for Mollie and Jordan, up!" Lori screamed as she roller skated out to the dining room area with the pizza box in her hand, serving it to Mollie and Jordan.

"Thanks, Lori!" Mollie and Jordan said happily to Lori as they took the pizza from her in happiness and Lori returned to the kitchen to prepare the next order.

"Two fresh chili dogs with curly fries for Margo!" Jeffrey called for Lori.

Lori got to work of the next order as she placed two hot dogs on a roller before placing some hot dog chili in a small pot on the stove and placing some curly fries in a deep fryer and it all went from there. A few minutes later, Lori took the two hot dogs off the roller and put them in buns. Once she did so, she got the small pot with hot dog chili and placed it on both hot dogs, before getting the frying basket that had the curly fries in it and placed them onto the plate with the two chili dogs.

"Two fresh chili dogs with curly fries, up!" Lori shouted as she roller skated out to the dining room area once again, serving the chili dog with curly fries to Margo.

"Thank you very much, Lori!" Margo said happily to Lori as she took the chili dogs with curly fries in happiness and Lori returned to the kitchen once again.

Two cheeseburgers with extra fries for Luan and Benny!" Jeffrey called the next order to Lori.

Two cheeseburgers with extra fries coming up!" Lori shouted to Jeffrey as she went ahead and placed two patties on the grill. Afterwards, Lori grabbed some french fries and put them in the deep fryer and they started cooking right away.

A few minutes later, Lori was doing her business as she had already flipped the two patties cooking on the grill and the fries cooking up in the deep fryer.

"Man oh man, I really love cooking food for these people here," Lori said to herself happily before Jeffrey called for her.

"Hey, Lori! Two cheeseburgers with fries for Luan and Benny!" Jeffrey demanded Lori, "Lori, I don't have all day!"

"Keep your cool, Jeffrey! Two cheeseburgers with fries coming right up!" Lori said as she grabbed the plate with two bottom buns and went over to the grill and placed the two patties on the two bottom buns, and roller skated back over to the condiment table.

"Come on, Lori!" Jeffrey demanded to Lori, "We don't have all day!"

"Next up, the condiments for a burger!" Lori explained as she placed all the condiments on both burgers, "Primero queso, seguido de ketchup, mostaza y pepinillos, lechuga, tomate, cebolla y panecillo. Todo junto en ese orden para ambas hamburguesas."

Two fresh cheeseburgers with extra fries, up!" Lori screamed as she roller skated out to the dining room area, serving the two cheeseburgers and a large set of fries on a plate.

"Thanks, Lori!/Thank you, Benny!" Luan and Benny both said happily to Lori as they took the cheeseburgers with extra fries in happiness and Lori returned to the kitchen for the next order.

"One cheese pizza with mozzarella sticks for Luna and Sam!" Jeffrey called for Lori.

"One cheese pizza with mozzarella sticks coming up!" Lori shouted before she grabbed some more pizza dough and made it round just like last time before putting tomato sauce on it with cheese all over the pizza before putting it in the oven.

While at it, Lori grabbed some mozzarella sticks and put them in the deep fryer and it all went from there.

A few minutes later, the pizza comes out perfect with the cheese all melted as Lori pulled the pizza out of the kitchen oven and placed it in a pizza box. Afterwards, she got the mozzarella sticks out of the deep fryer and placed them in a bowl with a serving of marinara sauce.

"One cheese pizza with mozzarella sticks for Luna and Sam, up!" Lori shouted as she roller skated out to the dining room area with the pizza box and the bowl with mozzarella sticks in her hand, serving them to Luna and Sam.

"Thanks, sis!" Luna said in happiness.

"Yeah, Lori! Thank you! You're the best fry cook in town!" Sam said happily as she and Sam took the pizza box and the bowl of mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and Lori once again returned to the kitchen.

"Two fresh chili dogs with for Lincoln and Ronnie Anne!" Jeffrey called for Lori.

Lori was finally excited that she was finally going to start up the order from her kids. She got to work immediately and placed two more hot dogs on a roller before placing some hot dog chili in a small pot on the stove. A few minutes later after the wieners and chili cooked for a while, Lori took the two hot dogs off the roller and put them in buns. Once she did so, she got the small pot with hot dog chili and placed it on both hot dogs before adding shredded cheese on both of them.

"Two fresh chili dogs for the kids, up!" Lori shouted as she roller skated out to the dining room area once again, serving the chili dogs to her kids Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.

"Thanks, Mom!/Thank you, Mom!" Lincoln and Ronnie Anne said happily to Lori as they took the chili dogs in happiness and Lori returned to the kitchen to prepare the final order.

"One sausage pizza for Lynn and the McBrides!" Jeffrey called for Lori.

"Finally, the last order," Lori said to herself before she shouted to Jeffrey, "One sausage pizza coming up!" Lori shouted before she grabbed the last of the remaining pizza dough from the package and made it round just like the other pizzas she made before putting tomato sauce on it and placing cheese and sausage all over the pizza before putting it in the oven.

A few minutes later, the sausage pizza comes out perfect with the cheese all melted and the sausage all juicy and tender as Lori pulled the pizza out of the kitchen oven and placed it in a pizza box, ready to be served.

"One sausage pizza, UP!" Lori shouted as she finally brought out the sausage pizza for Lynn and the McBrides as she roller skated towards them and served them their requested sausage pizza.

"Thank you, Lori!" Lynn, Clyde, Holly and Harold all said happily.

"Yeah, Lori! You're an amazing waitress and fry cook!" Lynn said happily, "Keep up the good work!"

"You're welcome, fellas!" Lori said happily as she roller skated back to the kitchen.

"Boy, I really love my new roller skates," Lori said dreamily believing her new roller skates saved her job.

Finally at the end of the day after all that hard work that day, Lori and her boss Mr. Gamesngrub were in his office and they were both happy with how things worked out.

"Well, Lori. We did it. We got all them customers back!" Mr. Gamesngrub said happily, "Those roller skates you had on really helped us with our business and that means more money! And this money really keeps me going happy and green while we work!"

"That's great, Mr. Gamesngrub! And by the way, thank you so much for giving me these roller skates," Lori said happily to her boss, "They LITERALLY make my job as a waitress and fry cook a lot easier!"

"You're quite welcome, young woman," Mr. Gamesngrub replied, "I'm very happy you like them!"

"Also, Mr. Gamesngrub, I was thinking about something else," Lori said to her boss.

"Really, Lori? What is it?" Mr. Gamesngrub asked Lori.

"Sir, I was thinking we should change this place from just a snack bar to a straight up restaurant!" Lori suggested.

Hearing that they should change the place from a snack bar to a restaurant really got Mr. Gamesngrub hyped with his eyes turning into dollar signs and a big smile on his face.

"Change my Games N' Grub Area into a Restaurant?!" Mr. Gamesngrub said cheerfully, "Oh boy, Lori! You've got some great ideas inside your brain!"

"And I'm thinking we should change the work hours here," Lori suggested, "I am thinking the new work hours for this place should be from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m."

Hearing that the new work hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. really made her boss extremely happy.

"Lori, that is such an excellent idea!" Mr. Gamesngrub said happily, "That means this place will be open during dinner hours!"

"Yeah, and there'll be more customers here since it'll soon be open at dinner hours!" Lori agreed happily.

"Lori, my girl! You've got yourself a deal!" Mr. Gamesngrub said as he shook hands with Lori, "We shall make the changes later this week. Now get on home, girl."

"Thank you, boss. I gotta take those untied shoes with me as well," Lori said to her boss as she began leaving the area so she can go home since it's the end of another work day.

"See you in the AM fellas. Momma's going home for the night," Lori said as she roller skated her way home.

Some time later, after Lori roller skated her way home from work, she got right up to the walkway to the house. There, she took off her roller skates, leaving on her socks which were kind of smelly. Once she took off her roller skates, she went up to the front porch carrying both her untied shoes and her new roller skates.

Lori then entered the house, carrying both pairs with her up to her bedroom.

"Hey, Mom," Lincoln said to Lori.

"Not now, Lincoln," Lori said to herself as she went upstairs, carrying both her untied shoes and roller skates.

"But Mom, can't I at least get your attention?" Lincoln pleaded Lori.

"Lincoln, please. I'm not in the mood," Lori replied, "It was just a long day of work. I just need to relax."

"Mom probably isn't in the mood tonight, Ronnie Anne," Lincoln said to Ronnie Anne before he decided to go check on Lori, "I better go check on her."

Inside Lori and Leni's bedroom, Lori was laying down on her bed after she changed out of her work outfit and into her sleepwear, putting her untied shoes back on as Lincoln came in.

"Mom, I need you for something," Lincoln pleaded.

"Just please leave me and me untied shoes alone, Lincoln," Lori said stressfully to Lincoln, "I'm not in the mood tonight!"

"MOM! CAN'T YOU GET MY ATTENTION FOR ONCE TONIGHT!" Lincoln screamed at Lori, knocking her off the bed and onto her bedroom floor.

"Okay, Lincoln, it looks like you have my attention," Lori said nervously.

"All right then. Let's gets those shoes tied for you," Lincoln said as he went ahead and ties Lori's shoes that were untied.

Once Lincoln tied Lori's shoes, Lori then sat up to see that her shoes were actually tied now.

"Lincoln! I... I don't believe it!" Lori said in surprise at first but soon became happy, "You actually remember how to tie a person's shoes!"

"Yep! In fact, I'm able to know it right through my shoes," Lincoln said as he shows himself wearing shoes that look like old-style bowling shoes.

"No kidding!" Lori said happily, "How did you learn to do that?"

"It's something that I learned to do since I was in first grade when you taught me how to tie my own shoes, I'll show you," Lincoln explained as he started playing a song on his personal stereo.

The song "Loop Dee Loop" begins and Lori and Lincoln started dancing.

"Wanna learn how to tie your shoe?"

First off, Lori is in a classroom wearing a teacher's outfit and on the chalkboard there are sketches of shoes.

"It's a very easy thing to do"

Ronnie Anne and Lincoln appear beside a stool. Lori puts on her glasses and taps the board with her pointer as Lana appears in a desk next to Lori.

"Just sit on down and I'll give you the scoop"

Lana holds out an ice cream cone and Lori gives her a tied shoe that looks like Lori's shoe. Lana looks surprised.

"What's that?"

Next up, the words "Loop Dee Loop" in shoelaces show up and Lori pulls on two of the aglets.

"It's called the loop-dee-loop. You gotta take a lace in each hand"

Two Loris hold an aglet in one of each's hands goes up and past one another before they cross each other's paths.

"You go over and under again"

Then they come back around under the cross path that they made, and then they go upward and then come back and pass each other's path one more time.

"You make a loop-dee-loop and pull"

Then, a small Lori ties the lace of a big Lori's shoe.

"And your shoes are looking cool."

The Big Lori is shown wearing a top hat and giant shoes as she takes her hat off and kicks the newly tied shoe and it flies off. Afterwards, Lori multiplies into multiple Loris and follows the lyrics.

"You go over and back, left to right, Loop-dee-loop"

Up next, Lori was holding her laces while jumping before it changes to a bunny toy, then a present.

"You pull 'em tight, like bunny ears or a Christmas bow"

The bunny toy then becomes a bunny slipper and Lori is seen wearing it and the present as shoes

"Lace 'em up and you're ready to go."

Lori runs out before she jumps off of a tight rope wire swing before she stops and spins around and then falls.

"You make a loop-dee-loop and pull"

Then, Lori and Lincoln begin falling into a giant shoe that looks like Lori's shoe.

"And your shoes are lookin' cool."

Lori pulls on the laces and wings appear on both sides of the shoe and the shoe plane takes off. Afterwards, the plane passes by some giant tied shoe laces before it hits a roller coaster track and the wings fall off and it becomes a roller coaster car.

"You make a loop-dee-loop and pull"

Finally, the shoe falls off of the track and lands on the ground.

"And your shoes are lookin' cool"

Back in Lori's bedroom, Lori, Bobby, Ronnie Anne and Lincoln, now in their sleepwear, were all sitting on her bed together and she was happy that she's finally able to remember to tie her shoes again.

"Wow, Bobby! I feel like my beautiful self again!" Lori said happily, "I finally know how to tie my shoes again."

"Well, good for you, dear Lori," Bobby said softly.

"Hey, Lincoln, thank you for helping our mom remember to tie her shoes," Ronnie Anne said to Lincoln

"You're welcome," Lincoln said happily before he turned to Lori, "And by the way, Mom, thank you for giving me that perfect cheeseburger you made for me."

"Awwww, that was so sweet of you, Lincoln," Lori said softly before she kissed both Lincoln and Ronnie Ann on their foreheads, "By the way, kids, I got myself a new pair of roller skates for my work job as a gift from my boss."

"Wow! Really?!" Lincoln said happily.

"New roller skates?!" Bobby said in surprise.

"No kidding!" Ronnie Anne said in surprise.

"Yeah, in fact, those new roller skates I got at work actually help me with my job as a fry cook and a waitress at work," Lori explained.

"That sounds great, Mom," Ronnie Anne said happily.

"Yeah, they help get the waitress job done faster," Lincoln agreed.

"Hey, Lori, let's hope you remember to tie shoes for a long time," Bobby informed Lori.

"Don't worry, hon. I will," Lori said softly to Bobby as they both shared a kiss.

With that Lori, Bobby, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne continued to have themselves a fun time in their family room as the evening went on, hoping for something else to happen during the remainder of their summer vacation.
