STATUS QUO CHANGE: Starting from this chapter, "Gus's Games and Grub Snack Bar" is now known as "Gus's Games and Grub Arcade and Restaurant".
It was Friday, August 8, 1986 in the Loud House. Lynn Sr. was getting ready for their annual Take Your Daughter To Work Day as he was thinking to himself that there was no better day for it to happen than today.
"Hmmm, since it's Take Your Daughter To Work Day, I guess I should be able to call everybody down here right away," Lynn Sr. said to himself before he prepares to call the kids to come down, "C'mon, girls, it's time for Take Your Daughter To Work Day!"
All his daughters except Lori stampede down the stairs, cheering. Lori, Bobby, Ronnie Anne and Lincoln all come down stroll by elegantly, with Lincoln wearing a lavish girly outfit.
"As Lori's beloved daughters, we too cannot wait for this day," Ronnie Anne and Lincoln said as the latter imitated a girl before Lynn Sr. traps them with his hand as they alongside Lori and Bobby were about to exit the doorway.
"Hold it right there, guys," Lynn Sr. shouted.
"Wait, Wha.. What's wrong? What's going on?" Lori asked.
"Nice try, guys, but it's Take Your Daughter To Work Day," Hearing those words, Lincoln then takes off wig disappointingly.
Lori then spoke with her father, "Come on, Dad. Every year, they get to go with you to work and have an awesome time, and Lincoln and I both get stuck at home because I have to stay with him. That meant I always had to keep my eye on Lincoln wherever we go by ourselves."
"Sorry, pals. Besides, my office isn't that awesome," Lynn Sr. replied.
"Hurry, Pops! We don't wanna miss the doughnut cannon!" Luna said happily.
"I'll bring you back a jelly-filled!" Lynn Sr. shouted as he headed out the door and the eight girls cheer as they head for Vanzilla.
"Uh, Mom, Dad, I have to go with your father," Ronnie Anne said as she went out to Vanzilla with the other sisters and Vanzilla headed off for the office a few moments after.
"You know, Lincoln, it's not fair that we should have to miss out on Take Your Daughter To Work Day because if they leave us alone at home again, we'll just spend the whole day at the beach building sandcastles, surfing with the waves and playing volleyball," Lori explained.
"Really?" Lincoln asked as he puts the wig back on and applies lipstick.
"Yep. So I'm officially making today Take Your Son To Work Day for you, Lincoln. We're having it at our workplace at Gus' Games & Grub!" Lori explained.
"Whoo. Wait, what about Dad and Ronnie Anne?" Lincoln confessed.
"Don't worry about it it, hon. Bobby will be helping my mother out at her job at the dentist," Lori said softly.
"Yeah, Lori's right, Lincoln. Bobby's coming with me to the dentist's office," Rita agreed.
"Wait. To the dentist's office? But ma'am, I don't know about this," Bobby confessed.
"Hey, come on, Roberto," Rita spoke with her "son-in-law", "I know it's not as exciting as my husband's office, but you're Lincoln's father. You can make anything fun while your son's with Lori at the pizzeria while I get you to have a dentist appointment."
"Look, there's nothing wrong with my teeth, ma'am. I promise you..." Bobby confessed.
"I know. I was just gonna check your teeth and with this machine, The faster it's done, the more teeth will get clean," Rita replied.
"Well, Okay."
"Don't worry, Dad. You'll be okay with the dentist," Lincoln commented.
"Nice dress, Loud!" Mr. Grouse complied.
Lincoln comes to a screeching halt, as does the music.
"Uh, I think Mom and I should change into our restaurant uniforms," Lincoln confessed.
"Great idea, Lincoln," Lori replied, "Bobby, you're gonna have to go with Mom today. I gotta take Lincoln with me to my workplace."
With that, she and Lincoln go up to change into their restaurant uniforms. Afterwards, they head out on the sidewalk and walk to Gus's Games & Grub, "Arcade and Pizzeria, here we come, Lincoln!"
At Gus's Games and Grub, the manager Mr. Gamesngrub was at a stand in front of his workplace, and everyone in Royal Woods who came there to eat and play games was gathered for the big ceremony.
Mr. Gamesngrub then spoke into the microphone to everyone, "Welcome. Welcome, everyone, to what we employees at Gus's Games and Grub consider a major turning point in the history of our finest eating and playing establishment in Royal Woods!"
Everyone applauded and cheered in response, though a few were annoyed,
"I paid nine dollars for this?!" Jackie replied annoyed.
"And I payed ten!" Fiona said annoyed.
"Now, as a request from Lori, we have made a big important change to our famous workplace!" Mr. Gamesngrub announced to everyone, "And we have our top employee Lori Loud here, who has brought her special son Lincoln with her as it's her special "Take Your Son to Work Day" as the two get ready to unveil our new sign for our workplace.
Everyone cheered upon Lori and Lincoln in their restaurant uniforms, making preparations to unveil the new sign.
"Care to do the honors, you two?" Mr. Gamesngrub suggested.
"With pleasure," Lori and Lincoln both agreed as they went over to the old sign that was replicated on a movable wall that was split in two.
"All right, Royal Woods? Are you ready to see your new sign for Gus's Games and Grub?" Lori and Lincoln asked everybody politely.
"Yeah!/Let's see the new sign!/Go for it!/We'd love to see it!" everyone cheered.
"All right, Lincoln. Let's do it!" Lori said happily to Lincoln.
"Yes, Mom, let's unveil the new occupation name," Lincoln replied, "We are all set and ready!"
"ALL RIGHT EVERYBODY!" Mr. Gamesngrub shouted, "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, GUS'S GAMES AND GRUB..."
Lori and Lincoln then immediately pull down the old sign that says "Gus's Games and Grub Snack Bar" and unveil the new sign that says "Gus's Games and Grub Arcade and Restaurant."
"IS NOW AN OFFICIAL RESTAURANT!" Mr. Gamesngrub shouted happily and everyone cheered upon the place now being known as "Gus's Games and Grub Arcade and Restaurant".
"I'm a genius," Lori said happily to herself.
"We did it, Mom!" Lincoln said happily to Lori, "This Games and Grub place is now an official restaurant!
"Boy, I sure am happy that it's now a restaurant and not just some snack bar!" Jeffrey said happily.
"And plus, don't forget everyone!" Mr. Gamesngrub made another announcement, "This restaurant has new work hours. Starting from today, the work hours will be from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm! THAT MEANS THAT WE WILL BE FINALLY OPEN FOR DINNER HOURS!"
And everyone cheered again in response.
"All right, boys! It's time to go to work and serve up a lot of people in our now arcade and restaurant!" Mr. Gamesngrub cheered.
"LET'S DO IT!" Lori and Lincoln cheered as they did a high-five together like mother and son.
"Here come orders during the evening starting today!" Jeffrey cheered as all the employees went inside the place to open up the kitchen area and get to work right away.
Meanwhile, at the dentist's office, some of the patients who were visiting have some really bad dental work. Dr. Feinstein's patient Tara comes out after having a really bad tooth taken out.
"Okay, Tara, the pain will go away in a few days. In the meantime, here's a lollipop," Dr. Feinstein gives Tara a lollipop and turns to his assistant, Rita Loud, "Good morning, Rita."
"Good morning, Dr. Feinstein. You remember Lincoln?" Rita asked.
"I'm afraid he's not here since Lori got a job. Bobby, where's your son?" Dr. Feinstein asked them.
"He's with Lori. She got herself a job at the arcade and pizzeria back in March," Bobby replied.
"Okay, Alright, Bobby. Let's see how those permanent father teeth are coming in. Open wide," Dr. Feinstein suggested as he pulls Bobby's nose and opens his mouth; sees some plaque building up, "Mm-hm. So have you been flossing, Mr... Santiago?"
"Uh-huh. Every night. Lincoln's been flossing and so has been Lori. My mother has been doing the same, too," Bobby explained.
"Sure you have. Say, Who's that guy over there?" Dr. Feinstein asked.
"This is Bobby Bubblestone," Rita introduced.
"Hi."
"Well, I hope you're not chewing bubblegum," Dr. Feinstein replied as he goes back into his office.
"Okay, Bobby, while I'm working with Mr. Bubblestone's teeth, you can hang out in here and read comics," Rita then hands Bobby some dental comics. Bobby seems a bit disappointed.
"Hmmm. Teddy Toothbrush VS the Evil Ninjavitis?" Bobby asked confusingly, "This doesn't seem fitting for an overweight father like me."
"Mm-hmm. My favorite issue is number four: Fastest Gums In The West," Rita then imitates a whip motion and noise.
"Can't I hang out with you while you work, ma'am? You know, my son's hanging out with Lori while she works," Bobby confessed
Suddenly, Dr. Feinstein then comes in to inform Rita, "Rita, I have an abscess that needs to be drained. Bobby, bring a bucket!"
"Actually, I'm good here," Bobby gagged a little while Rita is writing something.
"Be right there, doctor," Rita replied.
Rita leaves and Bobby then speaks to himself, "Okay, I can make this fun. Of course my mother is a nurse here in the town's hospital but the dentist job she has is quite challenging.
The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II plays as Bobby lifts himself up in a patient's chair, pretending to be an astronaut in outer space.
"This is Captain Santiago to Ground Control," Bobby makes radio hiss sound, "I can see Uranus from here, and boy, is it gassy. This is one small step for man, one giant leap for..." suddenly, he notices something, "Lana?!"
It turns out that Lynn Sr.'s office is across the street from the dentist's office. Lana and Lynn are spinning around in office chairs and laughing. Luna has the doughnut cannon and she and Ronnie Anne are firing doughnuts everywhere.
"YEAH!" Luna screamed out happily.
"Lynn's office is across the street? No fair! My son can't compete with that!" Bobby complained as he slams his fist on the adjustments and the chair starts folding back on him, "Houston, we have a problem!" he tries pushing more buttons only to get further crushed, "MAYDAY! MAYDAY!" and pushes more and suddenly gets flown out of the chair and winces in pain.
The screen fades to Lori and Lincoln at the restaurant, with Lincoln standing at the cash register with Jeffrey assisting him.
"Welcome to Gus's Games & Grub. My name is Lincoln Loud," Lincoln greeted.
"And I'm Jeffrey. Would you like to play some games here at this arcade?" Jeffrey said in a monotone voice.
"Nah, I just came here to get something to eat," Mollie replied.
"Oh, uh all right, what would you like then?" Jeffrey asked.
"Hmmm... uhh... oh, I'll have a..." Mollie tried to order as Lincoln takes out the pencil and the paper, "...no," Lincoln puts the pencil and the paper away, "Maybe..." Lincoln takes out the pencil and the paper, "...no," Lincoln puts the pencil and the paper away and Jeffrey starts to become annoyed, "Hmmm... I'll have..." Lincoln takes out the pencil and the paper, "...no. Or maybe..."
"Are you planning on ordering today, Mollie?" Jeffrey said in annoyance.
"Um, I'll have a well-cooked cheese burger with a side of cheese fries," Mollie suggested and Lincoln proceeds to write the order down.
"Well-cooked and cheese on fries, I must say," Lincoln replied.
"And with extra onions on the burger," Mollie added.
"Daring today, aren't we?" Lincoln asked happily and he takes the order and shows it to Lori, "Mom, we got an order for Mollie, one cheeseburger with extra onions and a side of cheese fries.
Lori takes the order and she and Lincoln both to the kitchen and Lincoln heads to the fryer to make the cheese fries.
"All right! One crying Lily with cheese fries coming right up!" Lori called before she cracks her knuckles and makes the food, "First bun, then patty, followed by ketchup, mustard, pickles, extra onions, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and bun, in that order."
Lincoln then puts the cheese fries on the plate next to the burger.
"One cryin' Lily with cheese fries up!" Lori and Lincoln both called as they came back to the serving area and hand the cheeseburger with extra onions and cheese fries to Mollie.
"Gee, thank you," Mollie said happily as she heads to a table.
A few moments later, another friend of theirs named Dana comes to the serving area accompanied by Carol, Jackie, Fiona, Whitney and Chas.
"Hi, Lori. Hi, Lincoln," Dana greeted.
"Welcome to Gus's Games & Grub. Would you like to play some games here at this arcade?" Jeffrey said.
"Yeah, we would all love to right after we get something to eat," Dana replied.
"Okay, so what would you like?" Jeffrey said to the customer.
"I think we would all like to have twelve hamburgers on wheat buns," Dana suggested.
Jeffrey then went to the two employees to remark the other, "Twelve hamburgers on wheat buns!"
"Not to worry this will be easy!" Lori replied happily as she and Lincoln rush into the kitchen and Lincoln takes a plate and Lori serves twelve hamburgers immediately as they begin to appear on the plate in rapid speed, "Bun, patty, ketchup, tomato, bun, bun, patty, ketchup, tomato, bun, bun, patty, ketchup, tomato, bun, bun, patty, ketchup, tomato, bun, bun, patty, ketchup, tomato, bun."
"One dozen cryin' cows on the farm! Up!" Lori and Lincoln both called as they serve the plate with twelve hamburgers to the six customers.
"Thanks, it's an honor being served by you," Carol said happily.
"No problem, Carol," Lori replied happily, "Ahhh, you know Lincoln. It sure is lovely working here, isn't it?
"Yeah, Mom, it sure is. I wonder how Dad's doing at the dentist with your mother," Lincoln replied.
Back at the dentist, Bobby was at the supply room with Rita.
"Hey, Bobby. Let me show you one of the other neat things we've got here," Rita opened up a cabinet, "We call it Dr. Feinstein's Cabinet Of Fun.
"Hmmm, dental supplies. I wonder if I'll get used to it," Bobby said to himself before Dr. Feinstein entered.
"Rita, we have a couple of teens with their braces stuck together," Dr. Feinstein remarked.
"Be right there, doctor," Rita writes something down and leaves.
"Okay, what have we got here? Dental floss, surgical masks, gloves...I think I can work with this," Bobby said to himself.
The room is now set up like a jewel heist with the floss acting as a laser security system.
"Langley, this is Agent Santiago. I've got eyes on the president's tooth. Security's tight, but tell POTUS I'm bringing that molar home," Bobby sneaks past the floss lasers and grabs the novelty tooth, "Just another routine job for Agent..." he then sees the girls and yells out, "OH, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!"
The girls and their father are all having a suction cup dart fight. Luna goes in for a side shot. Leni has hers pointed at Ronnie Anne and the two fire at Lisa as Lynn Sr. sneaks past the crossfire.
"HA! YOU MISSED ME!" Lynn Sr. shouted.
Bobby suddenly trips over the floss and the supplies from the cabinet of fun fall on top of him.
"D'oh!"
At Gus's Games & Grub, Lori and Lincoln were cooking up a pizza for three hungry customers as they grab the cooked pizza out of the oven and place it on a serving table as Lori cuts the pizza into twelve slices before serving it to some of their friends.
"You know, Lincoln. There's not a better person in this town that can cook a pizza than the two of us," Lori explained.
"You said it, Mom. Whenever it's just you, me, and the two girls, we always spend a lot of family time with one another," Lincoln replied.
"That's right, because families should always be there for each other," Lori agreed.
"And nobody should be left behind or forgotten," Lincoln complied before they serve the pizza to their friends with a side of mozzarella sticks in which Lincoln made while Lori cooked the pizza.
"Thanks, Lori," Dana replied happily.
"I gotta say, I love how you said that nobody should get left behind in the family," Carol said happily.
"Or forgotten," Whitney added.
"Yeah, and I kinda feel convinced that you always bring Lincoln wherever you go," Jackie replied.
"Well, that's because I'm wanting him and the girls to have a good future up ahead and I don't want then suffering from a lot of abuse from Mom and Dad, isn't that right?" but her friends then start laughing, "Huh? What?"
"You might also be meaning you've got many other sisters in the family, Lori," Dana commented.
"My god, you're right!" Lori realized.
"Mom, we shouldn't doddle around," Lincoln remarked.
"Oh dear, Lincoln. You're right! We better get back to work!" Lori realized and they went back to their workstations to continue their work.
Back at the break room in the dentist building, Bobby is looking at his teeth.
"Hey, Bobby. Are you okay? How are your teeth doing?" Rita asked.
"Hey, uh, they're doing fine, ma'am," Bobby replied.
"That's good, Bobby," Rita walked Bobby over to a fish tank, "But the fun isn't over yet! Let me introduce you to our office mascot.
"Whoa. What is it? Is it some sort of fish," Bobby asked but a guppy that looks like Flounder swims by, thus disappointing Bobby a little.
"It's a guppy. Heh. We call him Fisher," Rita explained.
"A Guppy for an office mascot. Do you really know how ridiculous that sounds?" Bobby asked before Dr. Feinstein comes in.
"Rita, I need you for a very urgent emergency," Dr. Feinstein informed Rita while he had hands covered in caramel, "It looks like we've got a caramel apple emergency."
"I'll be back. Bobby, you stay here and make sure to feed Fisher, okay?" Rita handed Bobby fish food.
"You got it," Bobby then pretends to be an Australian wildlife explorer with a faux accent, "Crikey! It's a rare Patagonian dental fish. These babies are known to be fierce predators. We better be extra careful feeding them or it's bye-bye, pinky, "he then adds in fish food but drops a bit too much, "Crikey! That's a few too many shrimps on the barbie for this little guy," he then tries to get it out but Fisher slips out of the tank and through a trunk. Bobby then looks for him but flails into his pants. With that, Bobby shakes Fisher out and the guppy flies off the wall and back into the tank which Bobby seals up, "I guess it's Bobby Santiago: one, little fishy, zip..." Suddenly, he sees something in his Lynn Sr.'s office, "...line?!"
Lucy and Leni are zipping on a zipline over the cubicles while the co-workers are annoyed by their antics.
"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Lucy shouted happily.
"Man, why do I even try? This place will never be as fun as their father's," Bobby suddenly sees the arcade next door to Lynn Sr.'s office, "But an arcade would be!" suddenly, he realizes something, "Oh, yeah. Lori's working at one, and she has Lincoln with her."
Suddenly, Rita then entered the office.
"We're gonna be another half hour or so, Bobby. There was more caramel than we thought," Rita said nervously but she gets her glove stuck to the way on her hand gesture, "Think you can keep yourself amused?"
"You know, Rita. I'm sure I can think of something," Bobby explained.
"Oh, and would you mind watching my notebook? I don't want the pages to get stuck together," Rita suggested.
Rita then gives the notebook to Bobby before he switched back to being Australian wildlife explorer with a faux accent, "No worries, mate! I won't let it out of my sight..." Rita pats his head and leaves, "Boy, this job is quite challenging, but it takes a lot of time to get used to it, isn't that right Fisher?
Fisher blows bubbles in agreement to Bobby's statement, "I'm glad you appreciate what I say, Fisher. She'll be finishing it up in no time at all," Fisher then blows bubbles in agreement to what Bobby told him and he returns to normal, "Besides, while I check this book out, I am just hoping that Lori and Linc are doing okay."
Back at Gus's Games & Grub, Lori and Lincoln were really enjoying their workplace, since they were serving the customers with some delicious food. Lori then comes out of the kitchen with some roller skates on.
"Wow. Th-these roller skates are actually quite impressive," Lori said happily and Lincoln comes out with roller skates on as well.
"Yeah, Mom. I think they would help us get the job done faster," Lincoln said happily.
"You said it, Lincoln," Lori said happily as she and Lincoln both rolled over to a table where several friends named Rusty, Clyde, Tabby and Liam were sitting and Lori rolled up to them with plates of nachos, hot dogs and fries on each plate, "Did somebody order some nachos, hot dogs and fries for four people?
"WE DID!" Clyde, Liam, Tabby and Rusty all shouted.
"Ah he he, all right, boys," Lori said happily as she sets them down at their table, "Here you go. Dig in, everybody."
The boys then started eating their food.
"Mmm mmm mmm. This is delicious," Rusty said happily.
"Yeah, I don't really have any idea what makes them taste so good," Liam said happily.
"He he he. You know, Lincoln. I think my boss was right about these roller skates. They sure do come in handy when serving food here," Lori commented happily.
"Say, I wonder how Dad's doing right now?" Lincoln asked to himself.
At the arcade next to Lynn Sr.'s office building, Bobby was playing some super-cool games including Ghosts 'N Goblins.
"Now this is what I call fun! I gotta say this arcade is quite a thrill! Especially Ghosts 'N Goblins! This arcade stuff is such a big time of memories!" Bobby said happily before suddenly, his watch beeps, "Uh-oh! Gotta go!" Bobby then heads out and runs back to the dentist's office just in time. Afterwards, Rita enters.
"Hey, Bobby. How's it going?" Rita asked.
"Doing great, ma'am. Just been hanging here with my good bud Fisher," Bobby replied nervously but Fisher blows some bubbles knowing the boy's lying, "Hey, Fisher, can the cheddar!"
"I'm afraid I have some bad news, Bobby. Dr. Feinstein sat on a numbing needle and he can't feel anything from the waist down. Can you keep watch of my notebook please?" Rita asked.
"NOTEBOOK?!" Bobby screamed.
Flashback to Bobby leaving the arcade.
"Uh-oh! Gotta go!" Bobby went back to the dentist but the notebook was left back at the arcade. End flashback.
"Well, yeah. I'm on it. So...you got a lot of important work stuff in there?" Bobby tried to keep cool.
"Can you keep a secret? It's not for work at all. I've been writing a novel!" Rita suggested nervously.
"Really?!" Bobby asked in surprise.
"I'm hoping this book could lead to an exciting new career for me," Rita said happily.
"Ahh. So, that is your only copy, huh? It's not like something happened to it though," Bobby said nervously.
"Yep. Seven years of hard work between those two covers," Rita replied but Bobby suddenly gulps nervously, "Hey, thanks for being such a good relative today. How about after work, we go to the arcade next to my husband's office?"
Bobby gives a thumbs up and there's a knock at the door. Rita opens it and sees Dr. Feinstein rolling on a chair with his arms thanks to the numbing needle he sat on.
"Uh, Rita? I need you to carry me to my 4:00," Dr. Feinstein informed Rita.
"Uh oh, I better get that book back! I think I made a lie!" Bobby realized in fear as he immediately ran to the arcade to get the notebook, but is too late. "Oh no! It's gone!"
Suddenly, he notices that a janitor has picked up the book and dumped it in the bin. Bobby then screams and tries to catch it, but the janitor takes it to the garbage truck and the truck drives off with the novel.
"Hey, give the novel back!" Bobby shouted in anger and chases after the truck but is too slow, suddenly, he notices a roller skate stand, "Convenient," he then skates after the truck and leaps over obstacles before suddenly, a trash bag bumps off the truck and covers Bobby in a bunch of garbage. Just then, he notices a horse and carriage. He then uses the horse and rides it like a water skier while holding onto the bridle, "YEE-HAW!" he then catches up to the garbage truck driver, "Excuse me! Please stop! Pull over! Stop in the name of the law!
"Oh, you wanna race?" the garbageman puts on shades, "Let's ride." the garbageman then accelerates away.
"What? No! Get back here! Oh, jeez! I gotta get him!" Bobby shouted before he whips the horse to go faster, suddenly he screams at the increase of velocity and misses the turnoff from the truck, "Whoa, horsey!" The horse stops and Bobby suddenly crashes. Thankfully, the novel fell off the truck and a horn sounds, and a street sweeper approaches and catches the book in its brushes. The book flies off and lands on a hot dog cart where it's used as a bun. The vendor gives the customer his order while the latter puts ketchup and relish on it and takes a bite, disliking the papery taste and tosses it before Bobby finally catches it, "I got it!" but some kid inconveniently twists open a hydrant and blasts Bobby with a jet of water. The book flies off into a construction zone and lands on a girder which rises up, "No no no no no!" Bobby then puts on a hardhat and uses the lift. As Bobby goes up, the book alternates between rising girders and ends on the top floor. Lincoln gets there and looks down, losing his cool. He inches towards it, but it falls and the girder rises, sending him in danger as he screams for his life. The girder is swinging right by Lynn Sr.'s office window while Lola and Lana are in another suction cup dart fight. Suddenly, Bobby's cries for help catch Lana's ears.
"Did you just hear Bobby outside?" Lana asked in fear.
"Lana, focus! We've got Dad's cube mate trapped in the coffee room!" Lola said before she screamed, "SAY YOUR PRAYERS, MARGIE!" The twins scream and attack Margie.
"I hate Take Your Daughter To Work Day," Margie complained.
Bobby makes it back onto the scaffolding safely and notices the book is now about to be encased in cement. He gets down quickly via a pulley and bucket and rushes and dives and grabs it.
"YES!"
Suddenly, a bunch of cement then pours right where he's standing.
"Uh oh. I better get help," Bobby said in fear an walks out of the cement which is sealing up his feet as he grabs his phone out of his pants pocket and calls Lori, "Come on, please pick up, please pick up, please pick up."
Suddenly, Lori picks up and it It goes into split screen with her and Lincoln on the right.
"Hello, Lori and Lincoln from Gus's Games & Grub at your service. How may I help you?" Lori spoke on the phone.
"Lori, help me! I'm located at the scaffolding and the cement is sealing up my feet! Please get help immediately!" Bobby screamed in fear to the phone.
"Oh my! Sounds like an emergency! All right, then! I'll be on my way! Just hold in there!" Lori said bravely as she hangs up and the screen moves to Lori and Lincoln, "Better call the lieutenant. Looks like we got a civilian in serious peril."
"Let's go!" Lincoln said bravely and the two head to a phone booth outside and change into different outfits. Once they got out of the phone booth, they were dressed up in outfits that resemble Superman and Wonder Woman, "This looks like a job for Super Lincoln!"
"And Wonder Lori! And whenever there's a citizen in peril, we'll be there to save the day!" Lori shouted bravely.
The two of them then ran to the rescue with Lori now holding what appears to be a golden lasso in her hand. With Bobby, he was trying to get moving with the feet but now the cement has completely sealed up his feet. Now he was kind of stuck.
"Ugh! That stupid cement! It's got into my feet! This is ridiculous!" Bobby complained.
Suddenly, Lori and Lincoln came to him dressed as heroes.
"Don't worry, fellow civilian! Wonder Lori and Super Lincoln will save you!" Lori called as they came closer to Bobby.
"Lori! Lincoln! You're here!" Bobby said in relief.
"Oh my! Bobby, your feet are completely sealed in cement! Come on! We better head back to the dentist where Mom is!" Lori called as she picked up Bobby, "Come on! To the dentist we go!" and they headed over to the dentist where Rita worked.
In the dentist's office, Rita was waiting for Bobby. Bobby finally arrives with Lori and Lincoln as Wonder Woman and Superman all panting from their experience while Lori is carrying Bobby.
"Man, This sure is heavy! But don't worry. You're gonna be alright," Lori said bravely.
"Bobby, where have you been? And what is on your feet?" Rita asked in shock.
"Well, it happens to be cement, it dried up overtime and sealed Bobby's feet," Lori explained, "But the good thing is, Bobby called us for help and we came to his rescue."
It reveals that the cement dried and sealed Bobby's feet and Lori put him down.
"It's a long story. But the important thing is we've got your notebook," Lincoln explained but it turns out that notebook is completely damaged and instantly disintegrates.
"What the hell happened?" Rita asked in shock.
"You better take a lollipop, ma'am," Bobby replied lowly.
"Yeah, we're gonna explain how it happened," Lori explained.
And so, for the next few minutes, the three of them were explaining everything that happened to the book and how Bobby tried to get it back to Rita.
"...So I jumped into into the cement pit and grabbed the notebook, but I guess it was too late when I discovered when my feet were covered in cement. Upon that, I called these two for help and they came to my rescue and took me back," Bobby explained.
"Yeah, and that's why this book is in pretty rough shape now," Lori finished.
"Bobby, why would you do this?!" Rita said in a stern tone, "I can't believe you would sneak out and ruin all my hard work!"
"I'm really, really sorry, ma'am. Please, I..." Bobby confessed.
"But, you actually did something I never thought you would do," Rita said in surprise.
"Really? What?" Bobby asked in surprise.
"That you and Lori and Lincoln actually might have all done me a favor," Rita explained in surprise.
"Really?" Bobby asked in surprise.
"Well, I was originally writing about a bored dental assistant who talks to her pet fish," Fisher knows she's referring to him and blows bubbles in sadness, "But honestly, it wasn't going anywhere. But you two have just given me a better idea: I'm gonna write about a fearless thrill seeker with white hair and his parents," Rita replied in surprise.
Bobby then looks at a picture of the dentist on a table next to him.
"Papa?" Bobby asked in surprise.
"No, silly. You, your girlfriend Lori and uh..."
"Our son, Lincoln," Bobby corrected as he was referring to himself and Lori.
"Right, son Lincoln," Rita finished.
"Wow. That's awesome," Lincoln replied happily and the four of them then hug altogether.
"I'm sorry about putting you through all this," Bobby replied softly.
"Yeah, It was really nice of you to bring my father here in the first place," Lincoln said softly.
"You know, it sure does seem quite the challenge," Lori said softly.
"That's okay, everyone. Now, come on. Let's go home. I can't wait to start writing," Rita replied softly.
As they're about to leave, they forgot something.
"Uh, excuse me, Mom?! Bobby's feet are still stuck," Lori replied since Bobby's feet are still encased in cement.
"Oh, right, sorry," Rita realized before she gets a drill, turns it on, and gives Bobby a lollipop, "Better take a lollipop, Bobby. This might pinch a bit," Rita begins drilling as Bobby cringes. Sometime later, Bobby's feet are free and he, Lori, Lincoln, and Rita all begin heading home and she took notes, "So, tell me again how you chased down that garbage truck."
"Hey, sounds like we have a better idea," Lori realized.
Back at the Loud House, Lynn Sr. and the nine girls plus Ronnie Anne return home after a super fun Take Your Daughter To Work Day.
"Ha ha! Another successful Take Your Daughter To Work Day, eh, girls?" Lynn Sr. asked.
"The girls except Luna, Ronnie Anne and Lily cheer in agreement, as they were feeling very sad and down.
"Margie is so much fun, Dad!" Lola shouted before she asked, "What does "leave of absence" mean?"
"Hm...I wonder where your mother and Lincoln, Bobby and Lori are," Lynn Sr. explained.
"Aw. I feel bad for them. I bet they literally had the most boring day ever!" Leni replied softly.
"Leni! Shut up!" Ronnie Anne said sternly to Leni, "You have no sense in talking crap about my family!"
It turns out that Ronnie Anne was right and Leni was about to eat her words because Rita, Bobby, Lori and Lincoln come riding down the street reenacting Lincoln's thrill seeking adventure skating with the horse.
"YEE-HAW!" Rita, Lori, Bobby and Lincoln all shouted happily.
"This is what I call fun, isn't that right?!" Lori asked happily.
Lori, Bobby and Lincoln then wave to Lynn Sr. and Ronnie Anne while the others all look with their jaws hanging.
"Nice horse, Loud!" Mr. Grouse said happily and he gives them a thumbs up with excitement.
Later that evening, Lori, Bobby, Ronnie Anne, Lily and Lincoln were all relaxing in her room together.
"Ahhh. It was such a lovely day today. I took Lincoln with me to work today as it's now called a restaurant with new work hours, he helped me cook and serve food for the customers while Ronnie Anne was away at Dad's office, and Bobby, he had a daring rescue ride while he was with Mom at the dentist today. Well, with that out of the way now, I'll stop and wonder, what else will be coming in our way soon this month?" Lori explained to the viewers and the five of them then lay down on the large bed together thinking about what else will happen during the month of August.
