Just to Watch it Glow

A/N: I'm back and I have no idea how long this'll be but I hope it'll be entertaining.

Sandy woke up with a headache, eyes unfocused for a moment as she remembered the events of yesterday. Princess Holly and her friend's death lingered for a moment until a knock at the door sounded.

Sandy pulled the canopy closed, calling, "Come in,"

"Sandy," SpongeBob said, standing a few steps away from the bed. "Princess Holly will be here soon. . .should I feel excited? I mean I don't, but is it supposed to feel that way?"

Sandy frowned as Rune crawled next to her. "The day I got married was excitin' but also a bit scary. I mean not cause of who I was marryin' but ya shouldn't get married for the reasons ya are. I want ya to be happy." She said, ignoring her quick thought of not wanting to see him dead either.

SpongeBob nodded, rocking on the back of his heels for a moment. "I'll be in the ballroom if you need me," he said, his nasal voice taking on an edge. Almost as if he wasn't telling her something.

Sandy sighed, getting out of bed to wash off and get dressed. Rune huffed, scales fluttering for a moment as he stretched his wings. Sandy pulled the green veil over her face, holding her hand out for Rune to crawl up her shoulder.

She left the room, heading to the ballroom as her dress flowed behind her and servants moved out of the way. Sandy entered the ballroom, immediately noticing the other yellow sponge in the room.

Princess Holly. Holly smiled, her light brown hair ending at her waist as she walked towards Sandy.

"I've never met an Oracle before," Holly said, quickly bowing then taking Sandy's hand. "Is it true you can see people's future?"

Sandy gasped, taking her hand away from Holly. Through contact alone could she see people's future, and along with her friend's death; she saw Holly's rule.
