I Can Still Feel You

Just a poem I wrote when I thought about how Christian must feel after Satine dies. Well I know that's a no duh question but I think the poem is okay... ah well... let me know what you think! Oh and so you know this is NOT a Christian pity party... I hope

I Can Still Feel You

You have been gone so long

Left me here all alone in a cold world

And even though the years fly by

I can still feel you

Your wonderful light has faded for good

The loss of your laughter has made the world a little less bright

And even though I have accepted that you can never come back

I can still feel you

I can still feel your touch as the wind brushes me

I can still feel your love when two songbirds sing their duets

I can still feel your skin when I run my fingers through the water

And I can still feel the wonder that surrounded you as a little plant pushes for the light

I manage to make it through the day

When I witness these small wonders each day

And this is only possible because

I can still feel you
