Hazing 25

Nina sat patiently in the waiting room waiting for Wendy and Tara to leave Jax's room. She could only imagine what they were saying to Jax. Gemma grabbed Lily from Opie and sat next to Nina.

"Wendy only wants to ask for permission to see Abel more." Gemma told Nina hoping to put her mind at ease.

"What does Tara want you think?" Nina pulled Lily on her lap and kissed her forehead.

"Probably to see both boys unsupervised."

"You think she is ready for that?"

"I don't think so. Not yet." Gemma pulled at a strand of Lily's hair. Lily looked up and smiled at her grandma.

"Neeta got the boys?" Nina was so wrapped up worried about Jax she forgot to ask how his sons were.

"Yes. I told her not to come here. I don't want them to see Jax like this. Same for Lily."

Nina nodded in agreement. The kids did not need to see their father hurt.

"You sure marriage is what you want?" Gemma asked out of the blue catching Nina slightly off guard.

"I do now. I love him."

"Jax comes with a lot of baggage." Gemma warned.

Nina smiled. "Yes, I am very much aware. Two of them are in the room with him now."

"I know they both don't approve of you."

"I can tell."

"So be careful with them. Do not let them get between Jax and you."

"I won't."

Nina sighed when she saw Tara and Wendy leave Jax's room. Tara went down the hall to work and Wendy walked out without a goodbye to anyone. Bitch. Nina handed Lily to Gemma and hurried in Jax room. He smiled softly when she entered the room.

"They just asked to see the boys more." Jax said answering her question before she can ask.

"What did you say?"

"I told them as soon as I am better, they can see them."

"Unsupervised?" Nina frowned.

"Not right away but eventually they will be." Jax winced as a jolt of pain coursed through his body. He hit the morphine button. Nina leaned over and kissed his lips.

"Whatever you think is best."

"I just want everything to go smoothly with everyone, I want to get better and marry you. Don't worry I will keep an eye on them." Jax promised.

"I know you will." Nina leaned over and softly kissed him again.

After Jax's hospital stay Nina decided to stay with Jax in his two-bedroom apartment in Charming until he healed from his injuries. She would have to commute back and forth to school and work. She was glad she had Gemma for help. Opie and Chibs helped Jax in his apartment. He was extremely sore from his ribs and the cast on his right arm was a hinderance. Even though he was in pain he was bitching about his bike.

"Jax you know the guys will fix your bike. I'm glad you are here with your family. I don't care about your bike. I care about you."

Nina settled into a routine with taking care of the boys and Jax. Gemma relieved her when she had to work and go to school. The drive was getting to her a little and she was glad she would be graduating soon. Jax suggested she find a part time job in Charming and she was seriously thinking about it. The commute was putting unnecessary stress on her. After a few weeks Jax coordinated with Wendy to come over for lunch and the following week Tara was coming over. Jax was able to move around better. So, while Nina was in the kitchen making lunch, he answered the door. Nina looked back as Wendy hugged Jax. Nina tried not to let jealousy creep in. She was not in the fuckin mood to deal with Wendy. She knew in her gut Wendy was up to something. Gemma had adequately warned her to stay on her toes around her. Wendy stayed in the living room playing with the boys as Nina busied herself in the kitchen keeping her distance. It was Wendy's time with her son, and Nina did not need to interfere. Nina was almost done when Wendy walked up to her in the kitchen and stood and watched her while she prepared the kids lunch.

"Did you need something?" Nina asked trying to hide her irritation.

"How does it feel to be so young and already have a family.?"

"It's fine. I would not change it for the world."

"Can you handle Jax and all his needs." Nina stopped stirring the mac and cheese she was making and looked at Wendy.

"What do you mean handle?"

"You are a child how can you handle a man like a Jax."

This woman had the fuckin nerve.

"My relationship with Jax is none of your concern. I am doing just fine. Better than you did." Nina snapped. Wendy stomped off without a response. She went back to playing with Abel. Jax came in the kitchen. He looked so tired. His face was healing but his ribs still hurt, and he arm was in a sling.

"Everything all right." He leaned over and kiss your cheek.

Nina smiled at her future husband.

"I'm fine." Nina lied.

"What did she say to you." He asked pulling on one of your kinky twist.

"Nothing important. Lunch is almost done."

"You let me know if she says anything out of pocket to you."

"I will babe."

Lunch was mostly ate in silence with mostly the kids talking. Nina did not like Wendy, and she tried hard not to show it for Jax and the kids' sake. Jax tried to make conversation between Wendy and Nina and it failed miserably. One thing Nina could not help but notice was Wendy kept looking at Lily and it made Nina uncomfortable. Nina decided it would be best if Lily was over Gemma's when Wendy or Tara came over to visit their sons.

Finally, lunch was over, and Nina was glad.

Wendy dumped some dishes in the sink as Nina began to wash them.

"It's not going to last between you too. You're just a fetish that Jax needs to get out of his system."

Nina looked over at Wendy. This woman was truly certifiable. Why would she come after the woman who was raising her kid?

"Wendy you tried me earlier and I'm telling you not to make a habit of it."

Wendy snorted and scowled at Nina.

"Do you want to continue to see Abel." You whispered harshly at her. "Then I suggest you back the fuck up and stay in your lane."

"Don't you fuckin threaten me about my son." She hissed at Nina. Nina shrugged her shoulders.

"Well if you act like you have some damn sense I would not have too. Believe it or not Jax and I love each other and are in it for the long haul. It's up to you if you want to be in Abel's life." Nina knew Wendy was trying to flex her white woman privilege against her, and it was not going to fly. Wendy thought she was better than Nina. Nina was not the one who was strung out on drugs and put her child in danger. Wendy needed to get off her high horse. She did not care how long she was cleaned. Once Wendy finally left Nina sighed with relief. The kids were getting a little cranky and she put them down for a nap while Jax handles club business on the phone. Once he was off the phone Nina gently put her arm around his waist and laid her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat. After a few moments of standing in silence Nina finally told him she thought it was best she and Lily went over to Gemma's when his baby mamas came over.

"We have to be united as a family Nina." Jax told Nina pulling from her embrace.

"I know love, but I think in the beginning it's best Lily and I are not around."

"I don't like this. What did she say?"

"Jax it's nothing."

Jax grabbed Nina's chin with his good hand and pulled her face to look him in his eyes.

"Tell me." He demanded and Nina told him what Wendy said. Jax face turned a slight shade of red. He was pissed.

"I try to be nice and let her see Abel and she's gonna disrespect you like that."

"Just let it be. I think I made myself clear with her."

"You and Lily are staying when they come over. They need to realize you are not going anywhere."

Nina sighed wondered if she had the strength to deal with Tara and Wendy. She knew she would fight for her family, but will the drama ever end? Jax leaned in and kissed Nina passionately. Nina's core began to stir, as it has been a long few weeks since her and Jax were intimate. She did not want to aggravate his injuries.

"Sit down Jax." Nina told him. Jax sat on the couch and Nina got between his legs.

"Baby what are you doing?"

"What does it look like." Nina seductively smiled at Jax as she unbuckled his belt. "This won't hurt a bit."

Nina pulled out Jax's already hard erection. She licked her lips and took him in her mouth. The sound of his moans was music to her ears. Only if Tara and Wendy could see her now. Jax was her man and will always be her man.
