Rain, Rain go away. Come again another day. All the world is waiting for the sun-Breaking Benjamin, Rain

Bedtime is the only time that I can forget about the outside world. Lucky cries nonstop over the
baby monitor. I ignore her so that I may enjoy the rest of a very sweet dream. "You are the
mother. You should take care of it" I order Peyton. My words offend Peyton very much. "You are
not Lucky's father" my wife drops on me. I am absolutely livid and heartbroken. She doesn't care
enough to apologize or explain herself. Before I can do any real damage, I leave the house. I
spend the reminder of the night at Brooke's house. Brooke provides the comfort, support, and love
that I need. Slowly but surely, I reconcile with Peyton by early dawn. Her confession about Lucky
not being my daughter is proven to be totally false. I am greatly relieved. I apologize for denying my
own flesh and blood.
