:Chapter Start:
Hogwarts-Day of the Third Duel-A couple weeks since the last chapter
After a week of classes and avoiding Lockhart through the week. Surprisingly of everyone in Hogwarts, a simple mistake has resulted in almost every student taking Potions was actually learning the craft. The only students not learning are Ron and some of the more stuborn Slytherin students. Surprising Snape had a sense of Pride in himself which was actually scaring him a bit.
Currently Harry, Neville and Draco were eating breakfast being the last three remaining Grythindores competing in the tournament the last due before the finals. The problem was that all three of them would be dueling Ravenclaw members along with the forth person dueling only he is from Slytherin. Harry ate his breakfast as Snape actually walks past with a smile that disturbed everyone he past.
Lockhart can be seen heavily bruised, bandaged and loosing his hair at the teachers table with the other teachers shifted away from him due to a potent smell.
Harry finishes his small breakfast as Draco spoke up, "I heard about who you are dueling next," Harry nods before Draco comments, "Apparently he convinced the other member's of his house to share some cards for him to use."
Harry asks, "Really?"
"No," Luna states sitting next to the three with a disapointed smile, "First years had to give up their decks."
Harry noticed the lack of shoes and socks on Luna's feet and asks, "Are you okay?"
"My feet are a bit cold but I don't mind," Luna states simply, "Though I refused to share my cards with everyone," she pulled out her deck and held it close. Harry nods in understanding before Luna continued, "Oh and Harry, you have cards he wants," Luna smiles and walks away quickly.
Hermione having been with the group hidden behind a large book simply asks, "What cards could she be talking about?"
Harry was thoughtful before stating, "I don't know," he appeared to think deeply before stating, "Probably something to do with a couple new cards I added to my deck." Which from what everyone has seen it was some new support cards for Dark Magician and Red Eyes Fusion. Harry stood to leave for his duel while saying, "See you three later."
Harry walked through Hogwarts until reaching the open field leading to Hagrid's hut and found his opponent ready to duel. The Ravenclaw student spoke, "I am Robert Hilliard and I have a wager to offer you."
Harry frowns before asking, "I am listening?"
"You have four cards that I want, Summon Skull, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Black Skull Dragon and finally Red-Eyes Fusion," Robert Hilliard states.
Harry frowns before stating, "In exchange?"
Robert frowns at that before admitting, "In exchange my Ace monster."
Harry frowns before saying, "Fine," with that a House Elf appeared as a crowd began to form most having heard the deal.

The coin was flipped and the fifty fifty chance landed with Robert getting the first turn.
Robert smirks and says, "I play one monster in face down defence mode and play two cards face down and end my turn."
Harry drew his card and looks to the feild and says, "I summon my Skilled Dark Magician and play three spell cards, Swords of Revealling Light, Mystical Space Typhoon and Pot of Greed." Harry drew two new cards before saying, "I activate Skilled Dark Magician's affect and summon Dark Magician from my deck. Now I play my spell card Red-Eyes Fusion and summon Black Skull Dragon." With that Black Skull dragon appeared on the feild scaring many of the audiance and for Robert to smirk.
Robert spoke up, "I activate my trap card! Special Block! This card negates all special summoned monsters attack for three turns since they were summoned by sending my monster to the graveyard, The Black Stone of Legend!" a black egg looking monster with red energy was sent to the graveyard.
Robert smirks before Harry says, "I play one card face down and end my turn."
Robert smiles and says, "Now for my turn I draw," Robert drew his card only to not look at it as he says, "I play the spell card Hell Banishment, this card sends all banished cards into the graveyard. Now I activate The Black Stone of Legend's effect to summon Red-Eye Black Dragon!" Roberts own Red-Eyes monster appeared on the field causing Harry to frown before Robert smirks and says, "Now I tribute my Red-Eyes to use my Ace! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and now I play the spell Pot of Desires so instead of banishing ten cards I send them to the grave yard," Robert looked to the ten cards and smirks as he says, "I have sent seven dragons to the Graveyard meaning with your single Red-Eyes card and Black Skull Dragon monster my Red Eyes Darkness Dragon gains three hundred attack points for each dragon!"
2400+300*8=2400+2400=4800
Robert spoke, "Now Darkness Dragon attack Black Skull Dragon!"
With that the normal summoned dragon attacked black skull dragon destroying Harry's monster.
3200-4800=1600

Harry had his turn now, "I draw," Harry looked at his three cards and frowns before saying, "I play Pot of Duality to look at the top three cards and select one before shuffling them into my deck." He chose the card he wanted and was releaved that his next plan would work. "I play the spell Double Summon and it allows me to summon both monsters in my hand, Magicians Valkuryia in defense mode. Meaning you cannot target my Monsters for attacks."
Robert nods but continues to smirk as he says, "Not that it will matter, you cannot attack me for as long as Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon is on the feild."
Harry takes a deep breath, "I end my turn," already having a plan.
Robert drew a card and smirks as he says, "I end my turn. We are in a stalemate."
Harry drew his card and sees a spell that would be good for later. Harry spoke, "Then it is a battle of endurance dependant on the number of cards in our decks."
Harry-50 cards
Robert-46 Cards
Harry spoke, "I end my turn," Robert smirks as he drew a fift card for his hand.
Robert looked to his hand and says, "I end my turn." Robert had a smirk on his face that Harry did not like.
Harry took a deep breath to calm his nerves before finally Harry drew his card and when he looked at it he could only smile as he summons, "Palladium Oracle Mahad! This card's effect is that when he is drawn he is summoned to the feild and if he attacks a monster with a dark attribute his attack is doubled. But that is not all I intend to do, I play Monster Reborn to bring forth Red-eyes Black Dragon!"
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon 4800-300=4500
Now with a full field of monsters ready for the attack, "Now Mahad attack Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!"

Robert was shocked that he lost his monster but was even more shocked at what was about to happen. Harry spoke, "Now I play the spell card Polymerisation and fuse my Dark Magician with my Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Come forth Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon!" with that a fusion of Dark Magican and Red-Eyes Black Dragon appeared with three thousand attack points. Robert was shocked as Harry shifted the two Magicains Valkuryia into attack mode.
Total attack=3000+1600+1600=3000+3200=6200
Harry spoke, "All monsters attack directly!" with that Robert was hit with over six thousand attack damage.
Robert was knocked back and he fell down to a knee. Robert was breathing deeply as he drew his card and looked at it before sighing and placed a hand on his Duel Harness and says, "I conceeded." Harry nodded as he was declared the winner before suddenly having Robert ask, "How clearly I don't know as much about the Red-Eyes monster type."
Harry nods before stating, "Yeah," Robert stands and hands Harry the Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and says, "Enjoy." Robert walked away leaving Harry holding the powerful monster.
Harry walked back to the castle and enjoyed his lunch as he waited for Draco and Neville to return for lunch.
Draco's Duel-Begining
Draco could only frown as he met his opponent, he had a bowl shaped hair cut and a rather buggy demeanor. His opponent introduced himself, "I am Bumble UnderGrowth the Bug duelist." Causing Draco to frown.
The Duel began with UnderGrowth began with Draco going first.

Draco starts, "I summon Armed Dragon LV3 in defence mode and end my turn."
UnderGrowth laughs at the simple move before playing, "I draw and play three cards face down and a monster in face down defence mode. I end my turn."
Draco smirks before saying, "I activate my Dragon's effect to send it to the graveyard and bring forth Armed Dragon LV5 and I play the spell card Flip Negate, for this turn no card effects can be activated by facedown cards. Now my dragon attacks your face down. And with the end of my turn my Dragon's secondary effect activates and I can sacrifice my Armed Dragon LV5 to summon Armed Dragon LV7. Your turn."
UnderGrowth started to panic and decides to run away in terror and Draco was claimed the winner.
Draco looks to the RavenClaws and asks, "What was that?"
A random Ravenclaw answered, "He is not exactly able to handle sudden changes to plans." With that Draco heads towards the Grand Hall for lunch before learning of the two week delay before the finals.
Neville's Duel-Earlier
Neville stands across where he would be dueling only the issue was the student never arrived deeming Neville as the winner and it would be later that Neville would learn that his opponent was caught sleeping in the Library studying over night for the coming tests in a week. So Neville lucked out due to Ravenclaw habits.
Lunch time-Grand Hall
Harry having enjoyed his due ate some lunch while as Draco and Neville arrived and explained how their duels went and the two sighed in disapointment. Hermione then spoke up after arriving at the table spoke, "I went to see the last match, between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. Slytherin won." That surprised the three as Hermione spoke, "He used a machine deck with cards relating to the letters X, Y and Z."
"XYZ Dragon Catapult," Harry said in shock before explaining to Draco and Neville, "It is a special archetype, they are a set of machines that combine weak four star monster into highlevel monsters. With effects dependant on the form."
Draco frowns before stating, "Then whoever duels him will have to be careful." Neville nods in agreement. Harry then revealed the card he won and the two found it really interesting before they enjoyed the rest of their lunch before heading to the library to find Ginny and Luna studying for the classes for the coming week along with helping Luna and Ginny with their DADA classes that they have been missing due to Lockhart. What they did not know was that Grythindor was actually earning house points for helping their fellow students as several other first years joined them to study along with Fred and George joining them with Collen who had joined the pair in their pranking ways as his use of a camera to catch their victims' faces for record. Basically the twins went out of their way to teach everyone spells and charms they created or learned outside the class room.
There day ended when the large group of students went to the Grand Hall to find Ron already stuffing his face with food as everyone started eating for the day and somewhat ignored the Dumbledore announcing the finalists for that years finals. Where they see the following match ups.
Harry Potter Vs Draco Malfoy
Neville Longbottom Vs Augustus Filtch.
Only these duels would be different in that they would happen one after the other with the final duel happening that night infront of everyone at the Quiditch Pitch infront of the whole school. As they would have the first duels just after lunch before leaving for a quick dinner before heading back to the pitch to enjoy the final match of the tournament.
Gryffindore Common Room that night-Late
Everyone else had gone to bed leaving Harry, Draco, Neville and Hermione to talk with one another. Neville comments, "What am I going to do? I am Duelling against the captain of the Slytherin Quiditch team."
Harry frowns before commenting, "We can't help you with your deck without being considered a cheat. Same with Draco. The only one of us who can help with your deck is Hermione."
Hermione simply says, "We have two weeks minus study time for classes." Neville appeared releaved at what little help he would get. They spoke a bit longer before all heading to bed for the night and the next day they spread out around the castle to adjust their decks for the coming duel.
Hermione and Neville going to the Library in the restricted section due to the pass signed by Lockhart accidently assuming he was signing an autograph. The pair would come up with stratagies to win through their sessions.
Draco being alone in his choice decides to work with Fred and George, two on one to practice in one of the secret locations they know of.
Harry though would spend his free time being challenged by Ron in Wizards Chess and only adjusting his deck some when he gets a moment alone from Ron.
The last duellist in the finals did something different in that he placed a single card into his deck that he would not use until he reached the finals while also changing his cards around to fight Neville easily with a single card to negate all of Neville's cards.
The Quiditch Pitch would be modified to have a large wooden stage in the middle of the pitch while even having some benches installed so that people can get a better veiw of the duel. Though that was in the second week and after watching Lockhart get heavily pranked by the Weasley Twins.

I did not think more on this so expect a wait on the duel between Draco and Harry and probably Neville that being said until next time... BEWARE THE WRAITH!
