"How was your year?" She asks laying beside him on the grassy deck.
"Fun!" He chuckles.
The sound of a party in the kitchen can be heard by the two, but they ignore it.
"Thank you. For letting me join you."
He smiles "No problem! I'm glad to have you aboard."
A moment of silence as they stare at the sky above.
"Do you think next year will be difficult..." she asks brushing her knuckle against his.
He sighs "I don't know. But what I do know, is that we'll get through it. Together." He grins.
They hear Usopp, Franky and Chopper rush outside up the stairs to the top of the ship.
She smiles brushing her fingers against his "I hope next year will be better." She murmurs.
He intertwines his fingers with hers, holding her hand "I'm sure it will, and if not? I'll make it a better year."
A warm tingling feeling sprouts in her chest making her happy. She looks over at him seeing him pout toward the sky she quickly shifts kissing his cheek.
A loud boom, colors cover the sky, fireworks. Usopp, Chopper and Franky cheer and whooing as they light another one.
She quickly stands staring into the sky. Feeling a bit embarrassed for getting a kiss on him.
As he stands the rest come out of the ship, just in time to see fireworks go off in the sky, covering the ship in vibrate colors.
"Yamato."
She turns to him with a blush seeing a big grin on his face as jumps at her wrapping his limbs around her body he kisses her lips with a loud smooch. She moans into the kiss falling backward onto the deck as fireworks go off above them.
"Nice try getting one off on me." He grins wiping saliva off his lips.
She pants below him smiling "Like I'll let you get away with jumping on me like this."
He chuckles pinning her arms to the deck "Happy New Year."
"Happy New Year." She whispers.
He lowers down closer to her, catching her lips in a more romantic kiss.
