Section 7: End of World
Gigers were like dicks; they're big, hard, and cause nothing but problems! They were incredibly resilient, and if one of them getting their head blown open didn't prove it, then somehow lasting more than three minutes against three/five (Merlin was still on his stroll through the desert and Arash was… somewhere) Servants certainly did. Their high defense was, of course, compensating for their speed. Or was it the other way around? Nonetheless, it was a stalemate although obviously in favor of the human side.
Valkyrie and the Valkyries zipped through the air, dodging swipes from the Gigers while shooting and distracting them. Down below, Saber and Archer were trying to bring down the Gigers in between helpfully removing the heads of any Magia that came close to them. As for the guards, well… they turned tail as soon as the building-sized Gigers landed. Smart.
Meanwhile, Decade-as-Drive and Naki continued their high-speed battle till they ended up back where they started…which lasted all of ten seconds before the latter was hit by a strong blow and sent rolling onto the ground. Taking advantage of it, Decade took out a golden card with Drive's 'R' symbol and inserted it into his belt buckle.
FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DRIVE!
And you know where this is going…
Stacks of tires appeared and held Naki in place when they tried to get back up. The red race car, the Tridoron, broke through the fence and did donuts around Decade. Getting thrown into the ring and literally getting kicked around by Decade, Kamen Rider Naki was defeated in a fiery explosion. All that was left of them was the Japanese Wolf ZetsumeriseKey.
"Phew." Decade dusted his hands as he reverted back into his base form. Of course, the battle wasn't over yet.
"Decade!" "Hmm?" He heard Valkyrie (the Rider) shout. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw that his fellow Servants and Rider struggling against some Gigers. Archer was even picked up and thrown into the air by one.
'Well, that's just great,' Decade sarcastically thought to himself. He should help a bit. But first, he needs to grab Naki's ZetsumeriseKey.
Learning in progress…
Meanwhile…
The 1v1 of Kadoc and Ikazuchi was going horribly for Vulcan, as the blue Rider was thrown into another bunch of barrels.
"Second time today, Vulcan." Ikazuchi sounded disappointed with him, looking at his enemy as he got back up. "You've gotten weaker, haven't you?"
Naturally, Kadoc didn't take too kindly to that jab. "Shut up!" He shouted as he pulled the Shooting Wolf ProgriseKey out of the ShotRiser before taking out the grey ProgriseKey he was given earlier.
POWER!
After quickly forcing the Punching Kong ProgriseKey open, he inserted it into the ShotRiser and pulled the trigger.
AUTHORISE! SHOTRISE!
A glowing blue bullet was shot at Ikazuchi, who simply reacted by deflecting it with his swords. However, the bullet quickly changed trajectory and flew back at Vulcan as he ran towards Ikazuchi. Like before, the Rider punched the bullet and changed armor.
PUNCHING KONG! Enough force to annihilate a mountain.
Vulcan's blue wolf-themed armor was instantly replaced with a black-and-orange gorilla-themed one. He now had huge gauntlets along with a thick and armored chestplate.
Switching to hand-to-sword, Kadoc managed to land a powerful punch to Ikazuchi's chest and sent him flying back. "How's that for weak?" He smirked under his helmet before continuing with a flurry of strong punches.
Meanwhile, about 20 meters away from the two, right next to the parked Shadow Border, Mash and Hiden Ritsuka were doing their best to whittle down Horobi. Kamen Rider 001 tried to land a hit on Horobi only for the kick to be blocked. However, this left the HumaGear open to a shield bash from the side, sending him stumbling back.
"Yes!" Mash couldn't help but cheer as Horobi tried to get his footing. A strained cough quickly put an end to her celebration.
"You okay?" Hiden asked in concern. "Don't push yourself too hard." "Wait!" Despite saying that, he proceeded to ignore his own advice and ran straight for Horobi before the HumaGear could regain balance. Horobi, however, was able to catch the punch and retaliate, throwing him away into a support beam.
"Sen- Hiden!" Mash caught herself before she could call him the wrong name again. Before she could run to his side, Horobi shot energy arrows at her and forced her to bring up her shield. While she could have dodged them, that would leave the Border to tank the blows. While whether or not the arrows would actually damage it was unknown, it was better to not take any risk or so Mash thought.
As Horobi pulled his bow again and was about to fire, something came over him. Not a feeling of any kind as one might assume, but a silver wall. "That is…" Both human and machine recognized the curtain-like wall that was moving towards the Shadow Border. The dimensional wall passed over Mash as well before stopping just a few feet shy of the Border before dissipating and revealing a certain someone.
Horobi wasn't exactly the "shoot first, ask questions later" type of HumaGear, but he knew who was capable of summoning that type of wall and remembered what that man told them. "Do whatever you want in there, just know that when we meet on the battlefield, I'll destroy you." And so Horobi pointed his bow towards the new arrival before the HumaGear could even see his face.
"Senpai! Watch out!" The shield girl from Chaldea noticed him, however, and quickly moved to protect her 'Senpai', blocking his arrow.
"Mash?! What's going on?!" The young man immediately realized that he was in danger and asked his ally. The boy wore a black uniform and had a strange red tattoo on the back of his right hand.
Now that he could actually see the boy's face, Horobi figured what was going on. "Another Hiden Ritsuka?" Taking a quick glance to his right, he saw 001 trying to get back up and was confident that he was right; the Hiden Ritsuka in black was an alternate version of the one he knew. The man in the fisher hat told him and the rest of MetsubouJinrai that Chaldea would come from another dimension so another version of their biggest enemy was not completely out of the left field.
The other Ritsuka then noticed Horobi standing and aiming a bow at him and said something to the Shielder. All Horobi managed to overhear was his name just as the other Ritsuka's face hardened. Guess he's heard of him.
However, while Horobi was focused on the two in front of him, he failed to notice that 001 was back on his feet and had pushed and pulled the lever in his ForceRiser twice, closing and opening the Rising Hopper ProgriseKey in the process.
RISING UTOPIA!
Before Horobi could turn back to him, Hiden had already jumped into the air and made a flying side kick. Unable to move away in time, the kick connected and Horobi was blown back by the resulting explosion.
RISING UTOPIA!
Hiden landed on the ground with a sharp huff, feeling another bolt of pain around his waist. He tried to ignore the pain in favor of going to check on his new friends/himself. "Are you two alright?" He asked.
"We are." Mash nodded, leaning against her shield for support. His other self, on the other hand, stared wide-eyed at him.
"...Hiden?" Fujimaru cautiously asked, obviously surprised to hear his own voice coming from the black-and-yellow armored warrior.
"Yes?" Hiden replied, "What's wrong?"
"Don't tell me…you're Zero-One?"
"Um… Close. It's 001." Hiden corrected his other self. "But, how do you know-"
"STOP STANDING AROUND AND TALKING ALREADY!" A certain gorilla shouted at them from the other side of the room.
"Huh? Kadoc?" "Senpai, I think we should discuss this later," Mash advised him.
"Uh, right…"
Data not needed…
"Rider? Do you have anything we can use?" "What do you want me to say? 'I can turn into a giant bigger than mountains,'" Decade snarked back as he and Saber jumped out of the way of the path of one of the Gigers. The Servants plus one Rider were making some progress with the remaining machines. The three giants were somehow still standing, albeit barely, while only roughly 50 Magias were left. From a couple hundred to that few remaining was definitely good.
"Be serious for once!" "I am serious." Decade said with a more firm tone, "Just keep them busy for a bit.." "...Alright, I'll leave it to you." Deciding that she should just leave Decade to do his part, Saber rejoined the others to distract the Gigers.
"...Why am I helping all of you again?" Decade asked himself semi-seriously. It took a second before he remembered why. "Fine then, might as well." He sighed as he took out the DienDriver along with a Kamen Ride Card depicting a green Kamen Rider with a bull motif. He then inserted the card into a slot in the side of the cyan gun and pulled the front out.
KAMEN RIDE: ZOLDA!
Decade pulled the trigger and the resulting bullet split into three silhouettes. The silhouettes then converged into one and gained colors. The newly summoned Kamen Rider had a green undersuit and bulky, silver chest armor and shoulderpads. Black braces wrapped around his forearms and lower legs. His helmet was also green with a grilled, silver visor. A silver belt was around his waist while a green box with a golden bullhead symbol was within the buckle. A single gun was hooked on the side of his belt.
"Blow them all away," Decade ordered his summon, who silently nodded before twisting his gun out of its slot. While the Saber and Archer (wherever he is now) weren't willing to use their destructive Noble Phantasms so close to the camp, Decade had no such reservations. Sure, he could warn his allies to get out of the way, but they were doing such a great job distracting the three metal giants.
Kamen Rider Zolda pulled the top of his gun back, which caused the magazine to spring out and revealing a slot. He then slid a card out from his buckle, one that had an identical symbol of a bull's head on it, before putting the card into the magazine and pushing it back in.
FINAL VENT!
In front of Zolda, the ground rippled before a robot minotaur matching Zolda's color scheme rose. Its left arm was a claw with a gun barrel in its "palm" while its right was a cannon. Additionally, it had large golden horns and its face was overshadowed by the mini-cannon it had as a hat. Its chest was silver and bulky while its leg had a pair of cannons folded up into its knees.
Should he tell them to get out of the way now? No, not yet.
Zolda took a step forward and pressed his gun against a niche in the minotaur's back. As if a switch had been flipped on, the minotaur roared as its chest opened up to reveal missiles while the cannons in its knees flipped down. Blue energy swirled around Zolda's gun as the various weapons of and in the minotaur glowed.
...Now should be the right time.
"Hey! Get out of the way!" Decade warned the others before joining Zolda behind the minotaur. The pink Rider didn't bother to check if they managed to get away in time as the green Rider pulled the trigger and released the minotaur's full arsenal. Missles flew through the air while lasers shot out of the minotaur's head cannon at one of the Gigers. While the attack only hit one of the Gigers, the resulting explosion caught the other two or sure…and maybe also his allies…
"Ahh!" "Decade!"

Phase 2 failed. Ordering retreat.
Ritsuka didn't know what to feel as he watched what he now knew as an alternate version of himself fighting alongside Mash against Horobi. Jealous? No, that wasn't it. With what happened that led to this world's version of him becoming what he is, to be able to fight on the frontline, he shouldn't be jealous. But… his world was destroyed too…
No, he shouldn't think that.
He shook his head and tried to refocus on the battle. Right now, Mash managed to bash Horobi and stun him. Hiden then followed up by jumping into the air and kick Horobi square in the chest.
Meanwhile, Kadoc was able to turn the tides of his match and was now relentlessly wailing on Ikazuchi. The HumaGear can't fight back if he doesn't get the chance, right?
"Let's end this!" Lostbelt Ritsuka, Kamen Rider 001, exclaimed before closing and opening his ForceRiser twice again. Maybe it was just his imagination, but Ritsuka could've sworn that his other self flinched as his belt sparked for a moment.
RISING UTOPIA!
Once again, Hiden Ritsuka jumped and tried to kick Horobi again. Yellow techno-lines like from a sci-fi movie came from his feet as he flew through the air.
However, he wasn't able to hit Horobi as a deafening explosion from outside destroyed one of the walls, and fire and smoke rushed into the room. Mash quickly rushed back to Ritsuka and implanted her shield into the ground, protecting both from the explosion.
Once again, Fujimaru Ritsuka was hacking up a lung and tried to cover up his face. "What-" Another cough "-was that?!"
"Dunno…" Hiden muttered as he staggered back to his alternate self's side. Thanks to his helmets (and whole suit in general), he wasn't having a coughing fit. However, he was still blown away from his opponent due to the explosion. Kadoc, meanwhile, had been blown away to the other side of the warehouse and was knocked out… maybe.
"Senpai, were you hurt?" Mash asked out of concern.
"No, I'm fine. Thanks for asking." He smiled thankfully at her before turning to look at the cloud of smoke. After a few moments, the smoke dissipated just enough for Ritsuka to see… some of his Servants trying to get up. Specifically, Saber and Lancer(s) were disoriented from the explosion.
"Guys, are you alright!?" Ritsuka ran to help them.
"Mas...ter?" Thrud muttered as Ritsuka helped her up. "Decade… His summons are-" "Ophelia!" He heard his other self shout before he rushed past him to reach someone else.
"Urgh… Ritsuka?" Ophelia's confused voice came from the hornet-themed armored fighter as she got back up. The second she raised her head and saw this world's Ritsuka, however, she suddenly snapped at him, "Why are you using that?! Where did you get another one?!"
"Umm…" "Hiden, Ophelia!" Mash saved the alternate version of her Senpai from answering Ophelia, "Those two are still…"
The smoke finally completely cleared and they could see Horobi and Ikazuchi had regrouped at the other end of the room.
"There's more of them?" Ikazuchi looked at the four unknown women that were blown into the warehouse before shrugging and raised his swords, ready to continue fighting. However, he only took a single step before both he and Horobi froze for a moment.
"What's-?" "Come, let's leave." Before Ritsuka could finish his question, Horobi turned and ran out of the warehouse, Ikazuchi following close behind.
"Wait!" A.R. Ritsuka tried to chase after them but quickly fell to his knees in exhaustion. "Guess I'm at my limit…" He said to himself.
It was at that moment that a certain someone walked through the new hole in the wall. "Let them go, you're too tired to continue fighting," he told them. "You've got space for another gate, by the way."
"Decade?" Ritsuka asked, this being the first time he's actually seen the magenta Rider in his base form.
Decade turned his head to see who called him. "Oh, you're back already," He noted, "What did that guy tell you?"
"That's… Later." Ritsuka decided that now was not the best time for that, "We should rest up first."
"If that's what you want, then see ya. I'll be inside the tank," Decade said before he summoned another dimensional wall and disappeared through it.
Ritsuka quietly groaned in annoyance. He'll just have to deal with his Servant later.
Meanwhile, in the city…
Inui Takumi, Kamen Rider Faiz, was not having the time of his life. The unending waves of HumaGears finally got the better of him…
No, he's not dying, at least not from the Humagears. He just decided that a tactical retreat was in order and got onto the Auto Vajin (which thankfully came with him). Problem is, there was now a pair of Magias on motorcycles were now chasing him. Oh yeah, they were also shooting at him.
"Damn it…" He cursed under his breath as a bullet flew by his head. With no other choice, he used the only ranged weapon he had on him. Faiz pulled his phone out of its slot in his belt and flipped it open. It was a bit hard to punch in the code while trying to keep himself balance and steering the Auto Vajin to avoid bullets. He succeeded though, pressing 1-0-3 and then Enter.
Single Mode!
Quickly turning the Faiz Phone to its Blaster mode, he then looked back and aimed at one of his pursuers before pulling the trigger. An energy beam shot out of the Phone Blaster and managed to strike his target. The beam hit the Trilobite Magia and sent it flying off its motorcycle, which then fell and skid to a stop without its rider. Now that left one more. Takumi did the same thing, this time aiming for the second rider. One laser beam later and he was finally free.
Now he had another problem; he had no idea where to go…
Sometime later, the camp…
"Okay, ready? Be fast about it." Down in the satellite room, Hiden Ritsuka took quick breaths as he prepared himself. He knew he shouldn't delay the inevitable. The longer he kept it on, the higher the chance he would get sick from metal poisoning… again.
"We know what I'm doing," Kadoc reminded him as he loosely held a long bandage wrap around Ritsuka's waist, right around the ForceRiser and its belt. "I've done this a hundred times before." A hundred times was definitely an over-exaggeration but he had a good point.
"Alright. On three." Ritsuka took one more deep breath and put his hand on the ForceRiser, psyching himself up for what's about to happen. "One… Two…"
"Three- Ack!" He gritted his teeth in pain as the belt loosened up and reentered the ForceRiser… and Ritsuka started bleeding from the various puncture wounds caused by the spikes.
Kadoc reacted quickly and tightened up the bandage wrap to staunch the bleeding. The white fabric was immediately stained red as Kadoc began wrapping the bandage more around Ritsuka's waist. After a couple loops, he stopped. "That should be enough…" He muttered as he secured the bandage with a clip. "You okay?"
"Yup… Never better," Hiden wheeze out, gripping the ForceRiser tightly.
"Good… Now hand it over." Kadoc ordered, reaching for the transformation device. Ritsuka reacted semi-irrationally and hid it inside his jacket.
"Hang on just a moment." Hiden took a step away from his friend, "You know as well as I do that I'm not just going to give this to you."
"Look, I'm asking nicely here," Kadoc told Ritsuka, "We both know that she won't be asking at all."
"You two barely managed to fend off today's raid. You need my help." Ritsuka argued.
"I was handling myself just fine!" Kadoc sounded offended at that comment, "Had Decade not blown me away, I would've won!"
"I said barely, didn't I? Besides, Horobi would've killed Mash if I didn't help her."
"Even so, that doesn't mean you should keep using that."
"And I'm not going to just sit back twiddling my thumbs and hope you guys make it through every battle alive." Ritsuka frowned slightly as he continued arguing with Kadoc.
"Believe me, I know we need all the help we can get but if that-" Kadoc gestured to the bandages around Ritsuka's waist, "-happens every time you transform, then you'd just become a burden."
"Add that to the list…" Ritsuka had mumbled that quietly but was still overhead.
"That's not what I meant." Kadoc was getting increasingly frustrated with dealing with him. "I'm saying that-"
"There you two are." Loud footsteps echoed as Ophelia came down the stairs.
"Oh, you're back," Ritsuka said. "How are things up there?"
"It could be better but it could've been much worse," She sighed, exhausted from not only the battle earlier but also from having to deal with the aftermath of the raid.
"How many this time? Horobi..."
"Thankfully, Horobi and Ikazuchi didn't get too far but… They still managed to kill 7 of us before you got to them," She solemnly told them.
"How about the guards outside?" "Lots of injuries but fortunately no casualties." "That's good…" Especially since some Gigers had come as well. However, they can't go celebrating just yet.
"Hey, we still have a problem." "Which one? The massive hole in our fence or Horobi somehow getting down here?" "Both, Vulcan. It's about Decade."
"Ophelia, I know you don't like him, but-" "This is not just about me not liking him." She cut him off before letting out a deep sigh, "Decade's the one who sold us out."
"What?" "Hang on, weren't you the one who tried to defend him earlier?" "That was before Naki admitted he was involved. At the very least, he's the reason all four of them came today."
"I'm not saying that I don't believe you, Ophelia, but what's the motive? If he wanted us dead, he would've killed us himself," Ritsuka pointed out. "What was in it for him to help MetsubouJinrai?"
"I don't know, but Naki didn't deny that he helped them somehow."
"So what do we do now? Confront Decade?" Ritsuka didn't want to do that for several reasons but mainly because he was way out of their league, something that Ophelia agreed with.
"The best thing we can do now is to not inform him of any more operations," Ophelia suggested.
"What about Chaldea? Are they in on what Decade's doing? They're here to destroy our world too." asked Kadoc.
"You're not wrong about that last part but I don't think so," Ritsuka added his own two cents. "Why would they help you two if they were against us."
"You know, that argument would've been much stronger if you didn't say the same thing about Decade." "Yeah… I know."
"Well, there's no use discussing it right now. We just have to wait and see. Now then," said Ophelia before turning to Kadoc, "Vulcan, hold him."
"Got it." "You won't catch me alive!"
Within the Shadow Border…
"Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" "I know, Senpai, but thank you for worrying." Mash had a small smile as she and Ritsuka re-entered the command room to meet up with the others again.
"Oh, welcome back," Da Vinci greeted them from her spot next to the display in the middle of the room, "How are they?"
"They're resting right now," Ritsuka answered her, talking about his other Servants, "That explosion really took a lot out of them."
"How about you, Mash?" "I'm fine, the poison has worn off."
"That's good to hear," Holmes said, joining the discussion before he had a more serious expression. "Now, there's something we must talk about."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. 'What happened to me?'" Ritsuka knew what was coming though he wasn't nervous at all.
"That's right!" Goredolf cut in, "If one of us could go missing without any warning, then there's a large hole in our security."
"Exactly where did you go?" Holmes asked, ignoring the Director's outburst.
"Uh… Some sort of manor, I think?" Ritsuka tried to remember exactly what that man had said, "Not sure where though."
"So let me get this straight; while our little Shielder here was fighting for her life, you were relaxing in a manor?"
"It wasn't like that, Da Vinci!" Ritsuka denied the allegation. "The guy abducted me to give me a warning."
"Guy?" "Abduct?" "Warning?" "Uh… why couldn't you have made a fourth point?" "Shush, Director. So what's this earning about?" Da Vinci asked.
"It's-" "To kill me before I do something bad, right?" Someone else finished Ritsuka's sentence for him.
"Yup, that was it." Ritsuka nodded. It took him a couple moments to realize who had said that.
"Hang on!"
"Decade? When did you come in?" Mash asked the Rider, who was sitting in the driver's seat of the Border. How did they not notice him earlier?
"Don't mind me, I'm just resting here." Decade lazily waved his hands. "Pretend I'm not here and just continue talking."
"How could we? We're talking about you here." Da Vinci snarked at him. "And get off that, I don't remember giving you permission to sit there."
"So?" "...Fujimaru?" "No, you can't strangle him yet." "Darn…"
"Judging from your tone, you've heard this warning many times already," Holmes noted.
"That's an understatement," Decade said, "Nearly every world I've been to, at least one person had been warned to kill me. He's-" He pointed to Ritsuka, "-not even the first one here that Narutaki abducted."
"The guy's name is Narutaki?" Ritsuka asked and got a nod from his Servant, "So… will you actually do it?"
"What are you so worried about? Aren't you here for the same reason?" Hearing his Servant's words, Ritsuka realized that they were talking about two separate things.
Decade, meanwhile, raised an eyebrow at the confused look Ritsuka was giving him, "If you called this place a Lostbelt, then you're here to destroy it, right?"
"So that's what he got taken? To tell him something we all knew already?" Because she had been staring at her self-proclaimed rival, Da Vinci didn't notice Ritsuka's confusion.
On the other hand, Holmes did notice. "No, that wasn't just it, was it?"
"No, that man said…" Ritsuka turned to Decade, "He said that you were going to destroy our world too."
Naturally, an answer like that garnered surprised reactions from the others. "Destroy… our world?"
However, Decade had surprisingly taken the accusation well. As in, he didn't care at all. "Oh right, that too. That would be cause for concern, wouldn't it?" He may or not be speaking rhetorically.
"Yes. Yes, it would."
"Eh… Don't think too hard about it, I won't be doing it for a while." Decade dismissed their obvious concerns. "You won't need to worry about it at least until after we deal with this Lostbelt."
"Hmm… Team meeting!" Da Vinci suddenly announced, "You, go for a walk."
"Fine by me, I've got other things to do." Decade surprisingly agreed to get kicked out and made his way towards the door, getting stared at as he did. However, before he stepped out, he turned and gave Ritsuka one last message, "Oh, do you still have my card with you?"
"Uh… yes." The Master nodded. He had it in his room aboard the Border.
"Good, I'll be needing it sooner or later." With that, Decade left the room.
"Okay, first things first," Da Vinci began, "Just how reliable is that guy of yours, Fujimaru?"
"How am I supposed to know? I just met him today!" Ritsuka replied.
"So not at all then?" "Well, I wouldn't go that far." He shook his head. "That guy… Narutaki, was it? Why would he kidnap me just to give a fake warning."
"Exactly." Holmes agreed with the Master's observation. "Fujimaru, what were his exact words?"
"Hmm… It was…" Ritsuka closed his eyes and focused on remembering what Narutaki had said, "He said I was in grave danger-" "What else is new?" "-that Decade might help for the time being but he'll eventually turn on us."
"That doesn't sound too good, does it?" Da Vinci grimaced at the warning. "But can we really trust what that guy says?"
"That's surprising coming from you, Da Vinci. I thought you of all people would 'jump on the bandwagon' as it were," Holmes said.
"You're not wrong but he's not exactly that bad compared to some other Servants we know." Da Vinci reminded the others. "That doesn't mean I'm against the idea of throwing him under the literal tank, but we should make sure that the information is solid. He is incredibly strong and useful while we're here."
"Uh… I'm not done yet." Ritsuka spoke up.
"Oh, sorry. Please continue." "Ahem, he also said that Decade's been destroying worlds for a while now and that there is a way to stop him."
"And that is?" "Well…" Ritsuka trailed off for a moment before answering more confidently, "There are seven people here that can defeat him."
"Okay, then who are these seven?" "He didn't explain it to me," Ritsuka answered Da Vinci's question, "Just that we need to help Zero-One unite this world."
"Zero-One? Senpai, didn't you call Hiden that?" Mash recalled Ritsuka doing that earlier.
"Yeah… And he called himself 001 so he's definitely who that guy was referring to," Ritsuka said. "Then the seven are…"
Realization slowly dawned on the Chaldeans as they understood what the warning meant. All except for one.
"Fujimaru, just so that everyone is on the same page here, why don't you explain it in layman's terms?" Goredolf gently ordered, "I understand it quite well but it's for everyone's benefit."
"Uh… I'm pretty sure the seven are supposed to be this world's me, Kadoc, Ophelia, and MetsubouJinrai…" Ritsuka hesitantly explained to the Director, who nodded in understanding.
"Ah, I see…" Goredolf closed his eyes and smiled for a few moments, happy that he's caught up with the others. His eyes then flew open as he saw the problem. "Wait, as in the four robots that are trying to kill all humans?!"
"Yup!" Da Vinci popped the 'p', "And something tells me neither side would be willing to have a temporary truce."
"So there's no way to stop him?!"
"There's no need to worry yet." Ritsuka tried to calm Goredolf. "I don't think Decade would turn on us."
"Senpai…" "He had several opportunities to kill me before and he didn't." Decade's initial summoning quickly came to mind. "He did also say he won't be planning on destroying our world for a while."
"...Alright, you've convinced me." Da Vinci said after a moment. "But that doesn't mean I won't try and strangle him sometimes."
"I agree, your instincts haven't steered you wrong yet," Holmes stated. That was two out of four.
"Mash?" Ritsuka turned to his kouhai.
"I'll always follow your lead, Senpai," Mash told him. "If you want to believe that Decade is our friend, then I believe that you're right."
"Thank you, Mash." He sighed in relief.
"Right, so it's a unanimous decision then!" Goredolf proclaimed, deciding to go with the majority, "For now, we will leave the Decade be and focus on this Lostbelt."
"Oh right!" The change of topic reminded Da Vinci of their current issues. "Fujimaru, Mash, can you bring Hiden here? We need some parts for the Border. I'm sure he's willing to give us some of today's scrap as a reward."
"Yes, there are also some things I wish to ask him," Holmes added.
"I'll get right on it. Come on, Mash." "Yes!" With that, the two left the room together…
Meanwhile, somewhere else…
Jin's eyes glowed red as he opened them, scanning the room. Memories of his last battle suddenly flooded his mind, telling him why he was being reactivated.
"Jin, are you alright?" The familiar voice of his father spoke to him.
"Horobi? Uh, I think so." He would need a few minutes to loosen up his new joints. "So we lost."
"You and Naki lost," Ikazuchi grumbled from the couch. "The Ark ordered me and Horobi to retreat after the Gigers got blown up."
"Wouldn't that count as a loss?" Naki, who had also been rebuilt and rebooted, pointed out the flaw in Ikazuchi's logic.
"Shut it!" He didn't take it quite well.
"How about our ProgriseKeys?" Jin asked, realizing that he doesn't have the Falcon Key on him. "Ow!" That was when something hit him in the head
"Guess you don't have those quick reflexes yet." The last voice he wanted to hear spoke from the doorway. Jin finally noticed the fifth person in the room, a certain magenta Kamen Rider.
"You-!" "There, I did the last part of our deal." Decade, still in his military fatigues, ignored Jin and spoke to Horobi. "Every ProgriseKey that you four left behind."
"And what do you want as a reward?" Horobi cautiously asked him, eyes narrowed.
"Don't worry about it, I already got what I needed. You know that." Decade looked smug as he said that. "So then, until next time."
Decade opened up a dimensional wall and left the four members of MetsubouJinrai to their own devices.
"Horobi, what was he talking about," Jin asked as he picked up his ProgriseKey off of the ground. However, it was Ikazuchi that answered the question instead.
"Hiden got his hands on a ForceRiser again," The astronaut told Jin, "Now we're even in numbers."
"Not exactly," Naki corrected Ikazuchi, "Decade is still more of a rogue than anything. The fact that he approached us and told us of the provisions stored in that warehouse proves that."
"Yeah, but he's still on their side at the end of the day." Ikazuchi leaned back into the couch.
"Hey, Horobi…" "Yes, Jin." "Why do you think Decade is doing this?"
Horobi went quiet again for a few seconds before finally answering, "I don't know either but the Ark might have a conclusion. Two weeks should be more than enough."
"If that's true then why hasn't the Ark told us about it?" Ikazuchi complained, "That sort of information should be useful for us."
"The Ark knows best," Horobi asserted. "If it hasn't informed us, then it has its reason."
"I guess you're right." Ikazuchi relented. "It does know what's best for us HumaGears, after all."
"Now then, let us be on our way." Horobi suddenly said, picking up his katana.
"Where are we going?" Jin asked.
"President Will had called for us. We're heading for Hiden Intelligence."
A/N: I meant to get this out before Gilbert started but I failed in that. Sorry…
Anyway, on a topic unrelated to FGO or KR, Ultraman Trigger episode 7! It is, without a doubt, the best episode so far! I mean, it is just episode 7 but it's still awesome! The character interactions, not just with GUTS-Select and Haruki but also between Kengo and Akito, were great. None of the funny moments fell flat in my eyes, like Z's new transformation sequence for starters. And the most important part… GOSHO WA KUDASAI WARE NO NAWA! That's enough for me to rank it highly. Hopefully, next week's episode is just as amazing.
Oh right, I should probably start something more related to this story… like the Vulcan & Valkyrie movie. SPOILER ALERT! SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE MOVIE! All I know is from Reddit so if I'm wrong, blame both me and the internet as a whole. Anyway, MetsubouJinrai is dead, Yua can no longer transform, and Fuwa is probably dead… Welp, looks like I have to change the ending of this arc a bit…
As for Revice episode 1, I say it's decent for a first episode. The OP sounds good and the fight was cool. What else do I have to say? Oh right, Ikki has living parents. That's new.
For FGO, GilFest is here! Happy farming everyone and remember… ENDLESS BATTLE!
So… review?
