Alarm

I do not own Sam or Dean sorry… :(

This was a story I wrote for school, but I edited it a little and made it SN compatible. Lol. :) Enjoy! And just so you know, it takes place in Dean's point of view. :)

Alarm

It is so dark outside, I can not see. I do not care though. I like it that way, until the monster comes out of its lair. It is not big or scary. If fact, it probably could not scare a three year old. It is gray and black with a box shape. It does not sound too often, once a day. But when that time comes, all will pay.

It does not roar or scream, yet unleashes blood chilling beeps. It wants me to be aware. A new day is dawning filled with fresh crisp air. It has awfully horrid breathe, yet you can not smell it. When it sounds, the noise rings in my ears, like nails on a chalkboard. It sounds like a freight train running someone down or an earthquake with a magnitude of eight-point-two or two million pounds of dynamite exploding at once.

I use it to be on time, to not be late. However, when it drags me out of my slumber, I want more rest. You might call it procrastination, I just call it sleep. "Get up! Get ready for another day of hunting and research," is the order. My mind avoids the subject, while thinking of my morning coffee. The beep startles me out of my daze, as I hit the button.

This thing has to go. I have to toss it. I hold back that urge as I turn it off. It has won again, yet another battle. Monster: eighty-four, Dean: none. The alarm will loose one day and I prevail. Just like all the demons and ghosts I've killed. It might not be tomorrow or Saturday or Sunday, but I will win. Mark my words. I chuckle at the thought, as get out of bed to start another day.
