"Come on Donald! Lets go!" My love shouted as he and Donald Duck run forward out of Merlin's house to fight against Heartless in Wisdom form. They ran forward and the regular flash of blue light never happened. There was a bright flash of black and purple light, and instead of my beloved being decked out in blue with his Keyblade in his hand, floating a few inches above the ground, he had become completely black.
"SORA!" I yelled as I jumped forward from my seat against the door. As I summoned my World Eater, I ran forward to help dispatch of the Heartless. When that was done, Sora and Donald reappeared laying on the ground. Donald got up, but Sora did not. I picked him up and walked back into Merlin's house and laid him on the bed that was made up for him. After everyone left, I took my position sitting on a chair next to the head of the bed, slowly patting his face with a moist towel to wipe the sweat away. Around thirty minutes passed before he awoke.
"Wha…What happened Riku?" He asked me with a pained and bewildered look on his face.
"When you and Donald joined together to go into Wisdom form, you didn't go into Wisdom, you went all black and shadowy, you lost your Keyblade, and you fought like a Heartless would, and well…you looked like a Heartless. I was scared I had lost you," I whispered to my lover, as I held up his hand and kissed his palm.
"I felt so…dark….lonely…I felt like I was in an abyss. It wasn't like when I turned into a Heartless for real when I saved Kairi last year, it was different. It was much worse. I thought I'd never see you again."
"You never need to worry about that," I whisper to him as I lean down and kiss him on his forehead. "Sleep now, you need your strength"
