Player 2: Hey Cristin, do you want to be my beta reader?
There's always someone better than you. Annoying but true. And it always seems like it's so easy for everyone to find exactly who is better than me at whatever I try just before I can suceed. There's a rush of hope, maybe this time it will be too late, I finally did it. It's always tempered by the inevitable reality that I'm trying to take on a computer. The most perfect form of quick efficiency known. It almost works, which actually says a lot about either my skills or the lack of protection Motherboard has. What's really annoying is having to come up with a different plan every time, because I already know it's useless to try the same one twice, they'll already have everything they need to fix it. I have an ample amount of spells and ideas, but for some reason, I'm always one upped. Someone's always better than me. And it's frustrating. Sure, I lost my temper. Actually, it was quite relieving to cast that one on him. Only wish I'd thought to stick around a while longer and watch. But that would lead to getting into a business deal with a good guy, and well, those always turn south before they even get fun. It's not really the score I care about, it's the game itself. And I'm improving.
