Yami's eyes were weary and strained. "Why do you always have to do this Bakura," he quietly asked. The thief looked at the ancient pharaoh and chuckled lightly. "I do this because it takes two to tango, your majesty," the white haired spirit simply said.

It Takes Two to Tango

It takes two to tango and two sides to fight a war,

And it takes an audience for a band to perform,

Because there would only be empty chairs,

And a couple of blank, empty stares,

It takes two people to argue,

And everyone knows you can't make purple without red and blue,

I guess that explains me and you,

And how your actions counter mine and vice versa, too,

We all know the difference between right and wrong,

It's like an old record skipping on the same, old song,

The world is not black and white but gray,

While men do good their evil will stay,

And outlive us all,

Because it causes us to falter and fall,

On our knees and blindly grope in the dark for the other side of the equation,

And hope to find the answer you want with subtle persuasion,

The truth is harsh but there are also lies,

Which could destroy age old ties,

Based on years of trust,

But then again, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, may my tears rust,

And tarnish your gold and silver,

And poison your liver,

Or make your poison mine,

And make year gold and silver shine,

Because you are the heads to my tails,

The hammer that hits the nail,

Into my heart,

That could build me up or rip me apart,

It takes two to tango and two sides to fight a war,

Because if a war was one-sided then that would be a bore.

P.S. You and Yugi are out of milk and toilet paper.

Yami read the poem once more then slowly put it back down on his dresser. "Yugi," he called out, "we need to get new locks on all the doors and windows!"
