His stomach hurled, for he finally had an answer to his why. Why again? Well, it was because of his brother. Uchiha Sasuke was getting distracted by this woman… this, thing of weakness…

So alright, Sasuke had taste. But why now? Why not when his younger brother surpassed him?
He shook his head in disappointment. Answering one why would lead to a thousand more. Why did he ever search for an answer?
Well, maybe it was because his life was full of why. He never did need another why. And yet, by trying to solve his problem did he trigger more questions. Like, why was he staring most oddly at his hostage? Why was he afraid that she'd wake up, open her eyes and ask him why?
If ever he looked in her eyes, he'd be worried, for her look was not of fear but of hatred, pure resentment that made him boil mad. He was mad because Sasuke always gets what he wanted.
Mad because he loved Sakura.
Ah, so that's why I kidnapped her thought he as he watched her eyelids flutter and finally opened.
"Sasuke?" she asked, as what she saw was blurry… and it looked like Sasuke. "Where are we?"
And his eyes were red with caution, just like his brother's when Sakura irritated him.
"Go back to sleep" said He, in the softest voice we could manage. "We need the energy we can get for the mission"
"Hai, the mission" She repeated, still in daze not to notice that she was talking at her captor. She closed her eyes and leaned back again.
She always listened to Sasuke.
He was burning with jealousy.
This time, she dies.
He raised his kunai directly above her heart, ready, aim,
STOP.
He felt his brother's presence somewhere. How could he be stupid to let his guard down?
And finally, heard him say…
"I'm taking back my princess"
