A/N: Sorry for not updating this story sooner, life got a little stressful. Also, Raquel Vialpando is also an oc of mine.

May 20th 2007...

Hearing glass being thrown, Carly hid under the living room table as Amanda yelled "Take that, you cheating prick!" at Michael, Carly trying to stay quiet so she could figure out a way to escape.

"I'm not sleeping with the cop lady, Amanda!" Michael responded angrily before he ducked as Amanda threw another wine glass.

Carly covered her eyes and face with her arms, a shard of glass having hit her left arm… and she screamed in pain, Michael and Amanda realizing she was under the table and cautiously approaching.

Carly immediately fled her hiding spot and ran upstairs, locking herself in the bathroom and bandaging her wounded arm after pulling tiny pieces of glass out of it with tweezers as they frantically knocked on the door.

"Fuck this." Carly responded quietly before she opened the window, climbing out of it and down the ladder before she reached the front of the house… and the gate opened before she felt someone's arms wrap around her and saw Tanisha.

"Called 911, cops are on their way." Tanisha responded softly.

It was in the ER that Carly had been stitched up and explained everything to an officer… and after a while, she asked "What happens if a judge decides that my parents aren't fit to take care of me?" and the officer, a blonde haired woman that Carly guessed was in her 30s, handed a bottle of water to her after opening it.

"Try not to think about what might or might not happen, Miss. Do you have any friends you can stay with if you can't reach any family?" The officer responded before both of them saw 14 year old Raquel Vialpando.

"She can stay with me and my parents. We live in Mulholland." Raquel replied before they saw Kendl and Cesar, Kendl and Carly hugging.

Carly let tears fall again as she had a feeling things would only get worse…

Present time, September 9th 2007…

Opening her eyes, Carly heard the rain pouring down and saw a flash of lightning before she heard Ms. Danvers' voice over the intercom.

"Attention, a flash flood warning is in effect until tomorrow afternoon. Backup generators are set up in case of power outages, classes are cancelled until further notice and please be careful should you all try to go to the cafeteria for supplies."

Carly sat up as Gary was putting three slices of pizza on each paper plate before he and Carly kissed and he handed a cup of coffee to her, seeing purple circles under her eyes as the two ate.

"Rough night?" Gary asked.

"Yeah, it's hard to sleep at times. Something just doesn't feel right." Carly responded before they heard a knock.

Carly stood up and pulled her robe on, closing it and tying it before opening the door and Dash stumbled in.

"You wouldn't believe where I woke up today." Dash responded before she handed a Tec-9 to Carly.

"How'd you end up at Ammu-Nation?" Carly asked.

"Your guess is as good as mine but I didn't even know that Ammu-Nation had stores here." Dash explained before they heard another knock.

Carly hid the gun and Dash opened the door, letting Sally in.

"It's not letting up out there, I saw vehicles floating on the damn road because of the floods." Sally explained after closing the door. "Only one I saw parked was what I swear is Jazmine Matthews' car." She responded.

"Sis, that bitch is in Los Santos." Dash replied.

"What's her problem with you two?" Carly asked because Dash and Sally looked to each other and decided to tell her and Gary.

"She has reasons for wanting Sally and I both dead.. Sally caught her stealing from the school pension fund so Jazmine got expelled and I stabbed her brother with a pencil because he cheated on me. Jazmine challenged me to a fight.. I won, but she didn't let up until Sally broke her right arm." Dash explained.

"And that's just the start of it. She showed up to our home with a pistol until someone grabbed an AK-47, shot at her and ran her off." Sally responded.

"14, 5'7", long raven hair with an olive skin tone and brown eyes?" Carly asked, Dash nodding. "Yeah, Raquel doesn't back down from anyone. She's a lot like her parents." She responded before they jumped as lightning struck a car.

Across campus, Jimmy, Zoe and Russell hid from the storm and managed to calm down.

"Yeah, we're stuck here for a bit. Damn storm." Zoe responded.

"Bad storm!" Russell replied.

"Yep, we just need to be patient. It'll end at some point." Jimmy responded before they jumped again as lightning struck a nearby tree and caused it to crash into the auto shop. "Dammit, Johnny and his friends ain't gonna be happy." He replied after they remembered that the Greasers had put their bikes in the auto shop late last night.

A few hours later…

"Is this storm ever gonna let up?!" Jazmine responded impatiently, pacing around Derby's house as he tried to calm her and she backed up a bit. "Don't touch me now, I traveled across the country for this." She growled.

"I want revenge too, lady, but we'll drown out there if the floods get too high!" Derby responded. "And I thought you were used to this weather. Doesn't it always rain in Liberty City?" He replied, Jazmine looking right at him.

"I'm from Los Santos." Jazmine corrected.

"Why are you after Dash anyway?" Derby asked after a few seconds of silence.

"It's a long story, you?" Jazmine asked, not sure rather to confess yet.

"I asked her sister out on a date, she turned me down by saying I was too young for her so I got back at her by putting up naughty pictures all over town. That worked until the pictures got taken down by this girl that my parents are trying to adopt. That's not even the worst of it." Derby explained, Jazmine now curious.

"Go on." Jazmine responded.

"This guy she's dating talked her and some friends into pranking me. Two of the people that pranked me are Dash and Sally, a bucket full of fake blood fell into my head last night." Derby explained, Jazmine taken aback.

"Holy shit, sounds like they've been watching Carrie!" Jazmine responded.

"Probably have." Derby replied.

Back in Carly's dorm room, an envelope was slipped under the door… and she stood up and picked it up.

Gary saw the color drain from Carly's face and walked over to her.

Written on the envelope was From Mom.
