Attacked-Ch 29

The next few days passed by fast with Derek hardly ever leaving his baby girls side, a fact that she loved and Bryan hated because with Derek there he couldn't get close to Penelope for more than a few minutes at a time. He became much happier though when a bad case came in, true it was only about an hour away away but the fact was that he could use that case as a opportunity to get close to Penelope and who knows, maybe even have her again.

Derek looked at Hotch and said, "is their anyway that I can not go, I need to stay here with Penelope", Hotch said, "sorry but no, we need you on this one, if I could I would let you stay but this comes from above me". Derek sighed and said, "alright, let me grab my stuff and tell baby girl goodbye and then we can go", Hotch nodded his head and said, "again Derek I am so sorry" and Derek said, "we knew that me having to leave was a possibility and now it looks like I drew the unlucky straw that's all" and Hotch nodded his head yes in agreement

Dave smiled at his step-son and said, "don't worry son you can still keep tabs on her and see her whenever you like", Derek scratched his forehead and said, "what are you talking about Dave"?, Dave shook his head and said, "I upgraded our security system and had cameras installed, see" as he pulled up each of the cameras on his cell so that he could show them to Derek.

Derek said, "wow, when did you do this"?, Dave said, "ohhhhhh, one of the days when you and kitten were gone on one of your 5 hour picnics", Derek said, "hey we aren't that bad are we"?, Dave said, "no, not at all I'm just teasing with you". Derek laughed and said, "how about we keep this a secret for now, just until we get back from this case", Dave said, "I don't have a problem with it son, that's fine with me".

Hotch smiled as he watched Derek walk out of the room, he knew that Derek hated to leave Penelope but he also knew that she was being left with plenty of guards to protect her. Penelope looked up and saw him walking into the room and said, "ohhh I know that face, you have to go away on a case don't ya"?, Derek nodded his head and said, "yeah sweetness, but it's in town, we'll only about an hour away so you can call me anytime okay"?, she said, "okay angel fish" as she wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest.

When they pulled apart he said, "I'll call ya later baby girl but if you need me for anything don't hesitate to call me okay"?, she said, "okay hotstuff but try not to worry about me, I'm here with Fran, Sarah, Desi and of course my four legged bodyguards". Derek said, "and don't forget about the guards that are posted outside and the one that is currently in the next room", Penelope said, "see don't worry, I'll be fine",

Derek said, "I know, it's just that I wish I could be here with you too, you're my girl, my sweetness, my everything and I want to be here to protect you too, is that so wrong"?, she kissed his lips gently and said, "no handsome, their is nothing wrong with that at all buttttttt sometimes unsubs have to come first, it's a hazard of the job".

He nodded his head and said, "I know, I know but hopefully we'll be back soon", she whispered, "from your lips to Gods ears my love, from your lips to Gods ears", Derek sighed and leaned in and kissed her gently and then hugged her tight and said, "I love you baby girl", she said, "and I you Derek and I you", he reluctantly pulled away and said, "talk to you later", she said, "later, now you be safe and take care of the rest of my team of crime fighters", he laughed and said, "will do gorgeous, will do" as he turned around and headed out of the room leaving her alone in the room with Clooney and Mudgie.

Penelope looked down at Clooney and Mudgie and said, "how about we go grab a snack"?, the dogs both barked and wagged their tails as they followed Penelope across the room and into the kitchen. When she got in there she was looking for stuff to make a sandwich when Bryan came into the room, she said, "would you like a sandwich"?, he said, "no thank you, I just ate about an hour ago" and she nodded her head and said, "oh okay" as she continued making her sandwich.

When she was done she handed her four legged bodyguards a few treats each and then sat down at the table to enjoy her food, she looked up at Bryan and said, "I guess you heard huh"?, he said, "about Derek and the team being called away you mean"?, Penelope said, "yeah that" and he said, "yeah I heard, but don't worry they are only about an hour away and who knows maybe they will even be back later today"

She smiled and said, "now that I would love", he stood there watching her as she ate, she looked so beautiful, he couldn't wait to have her again, he still remembered how her body felt under his, how she felt as he slid and in out of her, the way she felt as he exploded inside her, ohhhhhhhh how he wanted to have that again.

He was so deep in thought that he didn't hear her calling his name, she started waving her hand around in front of him and he said, "huh, what I'm so sorry, what did you say"?, she laughed and said, "I was just trying to make sure that you were alright, you seemed to be really deep in thought" and he said, "yeah I'm fine, sorry to worry you", she said, "it's okay" and a few minutes later he stood watching as her and the two growling machines walked out of the room.

As he watched her walk away he smiled and said to himself, "soon Penelope, very soon".
