Hello guys! I´m back, thank you so much for your kind reviews, it made me so happy; I'm writing this fanfic for fun; just to let you know that just because the other characters have storylines doesn't mean I forgot about Marley and Kara; the story is about them and I'm planning to make them spend more times as siblings now that Kara moved to Lima Ohio. Originally, This chapter was going to be focused on Marley spending summer vacation in National City with her sister and how she is introduced to Alex and the rest of the gang, but that chapter will be updated later since I have so many ideas for the upcoming chapters, starting with another tribute; first I did one of Phil Collins, this time it will be focused in the school musical. which is: The greatest showman. I really love that movie so much. The performances of Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, Zendaya and everyone else were brutal but in good sense, and I wanted Glee to do a tribute, so…stay tuned.
Okay, now I´m going to give you a recap of what happened in the last chapters and what´s going to happen in this so you guys can catch up.
1.-Last week, New Directions made a Phil Collins tribute in glee club, but Mercedes (Amber Riley), Santana (Naya Rivera), Brittany (Heather Morris) and Amanda (Dove Cameron) were absent; Santana and Brittany because they had a cheerleading competition in Seattle which was mandatory by one Sue Sylvester and secondly, Mercedes and Amanda caught a cold and were sick in bed.
2.-Danielle (Nathalia Ramos), transferred from Carmel High to McKinley and joined New Directions, she made friends with Rachel (Lea Michele), Marley (Melissa Benoist) and Olivia (Olivia Rodrigo) after being slushied and they went with her to the doctor's appointment where her cast was removed.
3.-Marley and Sebastian (Grant Gustin) shared their first kiss and everything seems to indicate that they are dating but Jake (Jacob Artist) didn't think so, in fact he was so upset that he quit the glee club because he couldn't stand to see his ex-girlfriend making out with another boy even though he cheated on her with Bree (Erin Westbrook), despite Puck (Mark Salling) try to talk to his brother and convinced him to return New Directions, Jake refused.
4.-Ryder´s girlfriend Marissa (Ginny Gardner), who is really sweet and nice, joined New Directions, demonstrating she's talented and her dream came true. so she´s the last member of New Directions. In my story, instead of 12 members to compete in a show choir competition, there will be 20.
5.-Josh (Asher Angel) and Michelle (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), are experiencing what young love is, they are very much in love and they are happy together. so we'll see how their relationship progresses.
That was only the recap, now I will give you the plot of this chapter.
1.-Will (Matthew Morrison) gives the kids an assignment about chances since next year some of them will graduate from high school, regionals are around the corner and many opportunities present themselves.
2.-Marley and Michelle spend time together and want to know if their boyfriends really love them, so Mercedes, Santana, Brittany, Rachel and Olivia will help them.
3.-Marissa meets her new teammates and gets along with all of them, also…Marissa will talk to Marley about Ryder and Sebastian.
4.-Jake goes to look for Marley but is confronted by her sister (Melissa Benoist)
5.-After being rejected by Kitty (Becca Tobin), Artie (Kevin McHale) feels depressed, so Amanda (Dove Cameron) will cheer him up and they spend time together, developing a friendship between the two of them.
PS: How do you feel that Lea Michele is going to be in Funny girl on Broadway? To be honest I have mixed feelings; one because she did awful things to her castmates, she was rude and racist, but also…she's so talented and can really sing. This space is open and you can share your opinion in your rewiews apart of the story.

Jake is standing at his locker when someone closes the door on him out of nowhere; In front of him is Marley looking at him seriously and somewhat upset; despite being angry, she's still so beautiful.
"Hey, I was abo…about to come find you, ' Jake nervously said but Marley didn't believe him.
"Pull down your pants" Marley confronted him looking down at his pants and then at him. "I want to see your right hip; I want to see if there's a mole, I want to see if she's telling the truth" Jake was confused, what was his girlfriend talking about.
"Who?" Jake inquired, Marley´s gorgeous ocean eyes unexpectedly filled with tears.
"Please tell me there's no mole" Marley hisses tearfully. "please tell me she's just lying to screw with my head" tears start streaming down her face. "please tell me you didn't really cheat on me, specially with h…her"
Jake looks at her guilty and horrorized, His beautiful girlfriend found out about the infidelity and this broke his heart. It was never his intention to hurt her.
"Marley…" Jake whispers with his eyes filled with tears.
"Oh my God" Marley starts crying.
"I´m so sorry" Jake tries to hold her tearfully. "Look at me, look…"
"Just stop," Marley begged, sobbing. "Just stop!" she pushes him angrily and walks away crying.
-END OF FLASHBACK
"Marley!" Millie called her daughter´s name once again. "Are you okay honey? I was telling you that breakfast is ready, Kara made pancakes"
"Sorry mom" Marley apologized, she was in her room staring at the window. "I don't know what happened to me…I was just um…thinking about Jake and I; It seems like the memory of him cheating on me with Bree never fades away"
"oh my poor child" Millie walks over to her and pulls her in for a hug. "I´m so sorry about your break-up, I really thought Jake was different. you were so happy with him"
"It's not your fault" Marley looks at her mom. "I made a mistake dating him in the first place, I was young and naive, I…I don´t know what I was thinking"
"You're still young sweetie," Millie told her. "But you learn from mistakes; Maybe...Jake wasn't the guy for you. and you still have a long way to go, chances appear out of nowhere, when you least expect it. For example, how about that guy you're dating? Sebastian, right?" Hearing his name, Marley started to smile and blushed. "I knew it," the fat woman smiled. "You like him, don´t you?"
"He's so cute mom," Marley giggles. "And so sweet, I had never felt this way about someone. plus he's a gentleman and makes me laugh" she sighed. "I think I love him"
"But…" Millie wants to know. "There's something bothering you honey, I know you" Millie puts her fingers in her daughter's chin to make her look at her. "What 's wrong?"
I don't think he feels the same way about me" Marley confessed sadly and sat on the bed. "I'm aware that he likes me but…he's not in love with me"
"Give him time Marley" Millie said looking at her daughter intently. "And don't rush, my advice is that you both get to know each other better and go slowly. You will see that Sebastian will realize that he loves you and it will be a moment you will never forget"
Marley thought for a moment after the advice her mom gave her and decided to let things flow on their own.
"You're right" Marley said suddenly and a beautiful smile appeared on her face. "I'll let everything take its course; as you say...it's my second chance at love"
"So…do you feel better now?" Millie asked her and Marley went over to hug her, taking her mother off guard, but she just laughed and hugged her daughter before kissing her on the forehead. "Why was that hug sweetheart?"
"Because you're the best mother ever" Marley lovingly said. "Since when are you so wise?"
"I just had to grow up and live experiences" Millie told her. "Wisdom is acquired by learning from other people's mistakes"
"Now I understand," Marley says, linking her arms with her mothers. "come on, Let's not make my sister wait, I'm sure the pancakes she made are delicious"
"I heard she made some in the shape of flowers" Millie told her and they both went down to the dining room to enjoy a delicious breakfast
Hours later, Finn and Rachel were alone in the choir room making out, Rachel sitting at the piano and Finn between her legs.
"Yentl, Orca…please don't do this here" Santana said, rolling her eyes as she entered the choir room with Brittany and the rest of the choir room members.
"Santana, Rachel is my girlfriend, I'm in love with her and I love to make out with her. Deal with it" Finn told the latina.
"I'm sorry, we thought there was no one there" Rachel said, moving away embarrassed and getting down from the piano.
"Guys, we're not against your relationship," Ryder said. "But making out on the piano where Brad plays? It's not very professional"
"It's not like Rachel and I are having sex on the piano," Finn said.
"Oh my God, did they have sex and I'm finding out?" Kurt was horrified. "I'm going to need therapy after this"
"No! Finn and I were just making out," Rachel explained.
"Maybe not on an instrument where someone else plays it," Danielle interjected shyly.
"There are other places," Josh commented. "Michelle and I made out in the schoolyard"
"Yeah and it didn't work for you, the coach caught you and my sister" said Mike.
"At least it wasn't anything serious" Olivia commented. "By the way, what did Michelle say about it?"
"She was also embarrassed, she never thought that Coach Beiste would catch us," Josh said shyly.
" Be thankful it was her and not Becky Jackson," Puck interjected. "Knowing her, I would have reported you to Sue Sylvester; she's like her personal pet. I was making out with Quinn in the janitor's closet when Becky discovered us."
"Slippery sneak," Santana grumbled. "She will have the appearance that she does not kill a fly but in reality she is a bitch and that's coming from me, considering I´m the biggest bitch in Lima Heights"
"Okay, everyone." Will walked into the choir room. "Recess is over so let's get started," he added with a clap. "Before we start, I have two announcements to make; The first is that they already know that Jake quit New Directions and he's not coming back"
"He dug his own grave so that's his problem" Tina said. "Besides we don't need him, we can win with Marissa" she adds pointing at the blonde girl sitting next to Ryder.
"Tina, maybe he made some bad decisions but he's still my brother" Puck protested.
"We all know what he did to Marley, so don't defend him Noah" Rachel said annoyed. "Marley is my friend and she doesn't deserve Jake; Sebastian is a better guy for her"
"Thank you Rachel" Marley said when she was defended by her friend. "I still think that Jake quitting was not the best option, he was able to talk to me without causing a scene"
"So you're going to use the new girl as my brother's replacement?" Puck asked.
"I don't want to replace anyone," Marissa said sheepishly. "I only joined the glee club because I love to sing and being a team is fun,"
"Replacing is inevitable Marissa" Will explained.. "After Jake quit we had to find another member, in this case it was you to be able to compete in regionals. this year we need a maximum of 20 people; next year many of you will graduate and there will be empty places" Marissa didn't say anything else and simply nodded understanding the point.
"Whether we like it or not there will always be replacements" said Danielle. "When Rachel and I left Vocal Adrenaline, I found out that Frida Romero, the former lead from Hoosierdaddies and a ruthless boy named Clint, who is the version of Jesse were recruited by coach Corcoran"
"Damn, we're doomed" Artie panicked. "with Frida and Clint in Vocal Adrenaline now, they're going to beat us at regionals"
"We won sectionals with our song" Marley smiled with optimism. "the judges love when a show choir perform an original song; so…Olivia and I can write another one"
"I´m in" Olivia immediately says as she and Marley high-five. "plus, we have Rachel now and she´s our unique factor"
"She may be difficult but boy she can sing" Kurt exclaims and looks at Rachel.
"Rachel, we need something by Celine Dion or Barbra from your repertoire for your solo" Finn tells his girlfriend. "that songs suits your voice perfectly; or…what if we have a duet?"
"Yes, I missed a Finchel duet" Amanda claps excitedly and then looks at Rachel. "I thought you were going to sing "I´m alive" by Celine Dion"
"Thanks Amanda, now I remember; of course I´m still planning to sing that song" Rachel says confidently. "but…only with the condition that everyone else sings in the rest of the numbers"
"Girl, who are you and what did you do with Miss "all I want the spotlight for myself"?" Mercedes asked.
"Everything changed when I was in Vocal Adrenaline and I discovered that being selfish and petty only brings consequences" Rachel points out.. "Besides it's exhausting being a star all the time"
"Okay, we have "I´m alive" by Celine Dion as Rachel´s solo" Will said, taking notes. "and another original song written by Marley and Olivia; any other ideas for the group number?"
"Love today by Mika," Kurt said.
"Cake by the ocean by DNCE," Mike said.
"What about a Mash-up?" Danielle asked. "so that we get out of our comfort zone and not always sing the same thing"
"Actually that's a great idea Danielle" the teacher smiles and nods in approval.
"I got it," Marissa says. "We can do "Freedom 90/Cups" from Pitch Perfect and The voice; the song is so fun and all our voices would harmonize"
"Oh my Gosh I love that song" Marley smiled widely and her eyes shone.
"Marley has to sing the Anna Kendrick parts," Sebastian said. "she's perfect"
"Easy breezy" Marley giggles as she kisses him on the cheek. "I love that you want me to sing the verses where Anna sings, but everyone else deserve the chance to participate in the mash-up as well"
"I agree; we´ll do "Freedom 90/Cups as the final group number" Will says as the kids cheer and high-five. "thank you Danielle and Marissa"
"Speaking of Anna Kendrick, Did you know that she will be one of the judges at regionals?" Finn asked.
"You're kidding me" Josh said in shock and then smiled. "She's amazing; I loved her as Cinderella in Into the Woods and her rendition in Pitch Perfect is out of this world"
"Don't let my sister find out you have a crush on Anna Kendrick or she'll be jealous" Mike told the teenager jokingly.
"That's why we can't let Anna down" Olivia points out as everyone agrees with her.
"What's the second announcement you were going to make Mr. Schue?" asked Brittany. "suddenly everyone was distracted when Anna Kendrick entered the conversation as if by magic"
"Thanks Brittany, I had forgotten" said the teacher. "The second announcement is... that soon there will be the spring musical. and everyone will participate"
"Please be Evita, please be Evita" Rachel whispered as she joined her hands as if she was praying.
"Grease…" Finn suggested.
"Lurch, we did that in sophomore year, remember?" Santana said. "Marley was Sandy and Ryder was Danny"
"You kissed Marley?" Marissa asked her boyfriend, surprisingly she was not mad.
"It was for the play," Ryder said.
"It's okay," Marissa told him sweetly. "I'm not mad"
"I thought I was your first kiss," Sebastian told Marley. "I'm find out that you and Ryder kissed"
"We were just acting Sebastian" Marley explained to him. "Mr. Schue considered Danny and Sandy kissing to demonstrate chemistry. Also...Ryder and I had to get into the role"
"I´m just surprised, that's all" Sebastian calmed his girlfriend. "Normally we tell each other everything. Why didn't you tell me that you kissed another guy before? I would have understood"
"Guys…You're getting off topic and you won't let me talk" Will intervened. "Later you can take care of your business but now we have to concentrate, okay?" They all nodded. "As I was saying...this year's musical will be "The Greatest Showman "
"Oh my God!" exclaimed Danielle. "that's my favorite movie ever; Hugh Jackman was phenomenal as "
"I love the Greatest showman" Amanda says. "everytime I listen "This is me", I start to cry, the song is so emotional and beautiful"
"I definitely want to be Lettie Lutz" Mercedes raises her hand. "That woman was so brave and powerful. I think her story and mine are similar"
"Hold on a second Mercedes, do you want to be the beard lady?" Artie was surprised.
"Why not? it's about taking chances" Mercedes says. "besides, Lettie is my favorite character from the movie"
"Finn as and I as Charity" Rachel says immediately as Finn looks at her lovingly.
"I feel touched that you want to be my wife in the play babe" Finn said. "Let's see, okay?"
"Berry, do you know that PT cheats on Charity with Jenny Lind, right?" Santana says. "so…get ready because you will see how your boyfriend makes out with another girl who´s not you on stage"
"I'm professional," Rachel says. "plus, PT doesn't cheat on his wife; Jenny kisses him against his will"
"We'll talk about the cast and who will direct the musical," said Will. "now...some talked about chances, the competition in the regionals and next year many will graduate, so..." Will walked to the board and wrote in big letters "Chances". "This week's assignment will be about chances in everything. from having a second chance in love to take risks in life and achieve your dreams''
"Can you give us an example?" Marley asks.
"That will be my pleasure Marley" Will smiles. "Finn, can you help me with the drums please?" Finn nods as he gets up from his seat and sits on the bench in front of the drums. alright guys, I'll show you what chances mean '' he looks at the band. "hit it!"
(The band starts playing "Keep your head up" by Andy Grammer; Will starts singing confidently as he dances, Finn smirks as he plays the drums)

Everyone applauded when Mr. Schuester, supported by one of his students, gave his demonstration about chances.
"Something like that" Will said as the bell rang, signaling the class change. "now you know what to share in the glee club, I'm sure you'll come up with something"
The kids grabbed their backpacks and quietly left the choir room.
An hour later, Kitty was at her locker putting a notebook inside and reviewing her class schedule; Artie watched her from a distance, enthralled, he had been in love with her for two years, but he had never dared to speak to her for the simple fact that she was popular, beautiful and an incredible cheerleader; however he felt out of place for being a nerd.
Taking a deep breath, Artie wheeled over to her, but she kept looking at her schedule.
"Hey Kitty" Artie greets her with a shy smile.
"What do you want Wheels, I´m busy" Kitty snaps as she doesn't look at him.
"I just want to talk to you for five minutes," Artie asked. "What's so important that you're so busy you just ignore me?" Kitty rolls her eyes, closes her locker vehemently, and looks at him.
"Okay, five minutes," said Kitty, crossing her arms. "What do you want? I hope it's interesting or better not waste your time"
"I wanted to know if we would have lunch together," Artie asked her. "or...maybe...would you like to go to dinner at Breadstix with me?"
"Are you insane?" Kitty scoffed. "why the hell would I want to go out on a date with you?" Artie felt hurt and looked down embarrassed.
"You don't have to treat me like that Kitty," Artie told her. "I thought you and I had something in common; otherwise you wouldn't have agreed to be my lab partner"
Dude, I'll be straight with you," Kitty told him. "The only reason I agreed to work on the science project is so you can do everything and I can get my grades up. And what a fool, that you fell into the trap"
"Wait a second…you used me to pass the exam?" Artie was sad and immediately upset. "Why did you do it? did you think i would be too naive to find out?"
"Let's face it crippled kid" Kitty told him. "You and I will never be anything. I'm popular, you're a loser. Besides...no one is going to want to have a disabled boyfriend. You'd ruin my reputation." Artie felt his eyes fill with tears but he didn't allow himself to be weak before her. "See ya" she finished with a fake smile and walked away from the corridors.
Amanda, who had watched everything from afar, felt really bad for Artie seeing him being cruelly treated by Kitty Wilde. Therefore, she closed her locker and walked over to him.
"Hey Artie" Amanda greeted with a sweet smile.
"Oh...hi Amanda" Artie looked up to see the beautiful blonde girl with the face of an angel.
"I just wanted to know if you were okay," Amanda commented softly. "I saw what Kitty did to you and you don't deserve it. she's a bitch" Artie laughs at her comment and then sighs.
"No," Artie replied. "But I'll get over it; I was so blind to think that she was different; The worst thing is that I really liked her. She approached me with his mask of sweetness and tenderness, when in reality he just manipulated me; besides…who wants to date a disabled kid like me?"
"Don't put yourself down like that Artie," Amanda told him. "I think you're an amazing guy and if Kitty didn't appreciate you, she's missing out. you´re really cool and a fun person to hang out with" she added, smiling.
"Thanks," Artie smiled. "You're also a very sweet girl, but... I must ask; why me?"
"What do you mean?" Amanda asks, confused.
."You're a beautiful girl and you could be popular if you wanted to," Artie confessed. "Why do you look at someone like me who uses a wheelchair and will never be normal?"
"Popularity doesn't matter to me, Not when that makes people shallow and selfish" Amanda told him as she stands behind him and pushes his wheelchair through the hallway as she walks. "Of course you're normal Artie Abrams; the fact that you use a wheelchair doesn´t make you a freak. I know what you are going through because the same thing happened to me when I was younger"
"Did you use a wheelchair too?" Artie asked and Amanda nodded. "I´m sorry, that really sucked"
"Don´t be," Amanda calmed him. "It was a long time ago; but yes, I used a wheelchair for six months. A drunk driver ran a red light and hit my dad's car; luckily he survived but I ended up with injuries and paralyzed legs; so I was in a wheelchair and I was constantly bullied for that; but my parents told me the same thing; that I wasn´t different and I was just as special as everyone else"
"That made me feel better" Artie smiles at her and Amanda smiles back at him. "thank you"
"You're welcome," Amanda smiles. "so…do you want to sit at lunch with me?"
"I'd love to," Artie smiles. "Your carriage awaits my lady" the boy added and Amanda looked at him in surprise.
"Wait, do you want me to sit on your lap?" Amanda asked. "But...do you think we'll fit in?"
"Absolutely, get in" Artie agrees; Amanda chuckles as she sits on Artie´s lap and wraps her arms around his neck, Artie starts rolling down the hallway towards the cafeteria.
"Oh my Gosh, this is so much fun" Amanda smiles widely as Artie. "I´d never took a ride in a wheelchair before"
"I can give you another ride anytime," Artie told her.
"I wouldn't miss it," Amanda said sweetly.
"By the way...I'm not interested in Kitty Wilde anymore" Artie said determinedly. "I prefer that you and I spend time together... as friends"
"That sounds lovely" Amanda looked at him smiling. "I also want us to be friends Artie"
Without another word, Artie and Amanda rolled down the corridors and headed to the cafeteria to have lunch together.
Meanwhile, Rachel, Marley and Olivia walked through the corridors with the books hugged to their chests as they talked.
"Marley, what about you and Sebastian?" Rachel wanted to know.
"Well...the other day, he and I sang 'You'll be in my heart' by Phil Collins, which is a beautiful ballad by the way," Marley commented with a smile. "it was so romantic that we kissed"
"Oh my god" Olivia got excited. "I bet he's a good kisser, isn't he?"
"Totally," Marley confessed. "I felt butterflies in my stomach and I saw shooting stars. The truth is...I had never felt this way about someone"
"Then go get him," Rachel told her friend. "Take a chance, you have nothing to lose by trying. besides, we all know that he likes you too"
"I would like that but it's not the same Rachel" said Marley sadly. "I'm in love with Sebastian and I don't think he loves me too. I already went through a reciprocated love and it is not pleasant at all"
"It's different Marley," Olivia assured her. "Sebastian is also attracted to you or else they wouldn't have made out in the auditorium. I'm sure he's in love with you too, he just hasn't told you yet"
Exactly, maybe he's very shy" agreed Rachel. "After all you are very beautiful and sweet, who wouldn't fall in love with you?"
"I only think about Sebastian," said Marley daydreaming. "He makes me so happy and I really love him"
"I think that...if you want to conquer Sebastian...you have to be bold and confident, '' Olivia told her with a smile. "show him that you are ready to win his heart"
"You can start by saying: ready or not…here I come" Rachel suggested to Marley with a smirk and Olivia nodded.
("Ready or not" by Bridgit Mendler starts playing; Marley looks straight ahead confidently down the halls as she links her arms with Rachel and Olivia; the three of them smile)

"Actually I got an idea" Kurt smiles, raises his arm and gets up from his seat. "but I´m going to need Josh and Artie" Josh got up from his seat nodding and walked towards Kurt, Artie simply rolled over him. "and the rest of you follow us to the auditorium" he says as he, Artie and Josh leave the choir room.
"What's your angle Kurt?" Amanda asks with curiosity as she and everyone else follow them to the auditorium.
"You'll see baby doll," Kurt smiles. "it's a surprise"
"Dude, you´ve been so mysterious lately," Finn said. "What's going on? and what does this have to do with the chances assignment for glee club?"
"Trust me, I have no idea either but Kurt told Artie and I have to help him so…" Josh shrugs his shoulders.
"holy cow…" Artie says as he finds the auditorium decorated with the colors of the rainbow, the background has a screen with different colors. Kurt walked to a furniture which had t-shirts with the colors of the rainbow as well.
"Here, put this on" he throws the t-shirts to his teammates, who caught them with their hands and put them on.
"Lady Hummel, the pride month is over '' Santana. "Are you trying to pay a tribute to the LGTB community? I mean…Britt and I feel flattered that you want to do something meaningful for us but… clearly mentioned that the week's assignment is about chances''
"It's not about the gay people like us Santana" Kurt clearified the latina. "Just wait to find out" he then looks at Artie. "Artie, will you do us the honors?"

New Directions continued to have fun as they launched balloons into the air and caught them; no doubt that colorful group number, had been a lot of fun and subconsciously also talked about the chances.
An hour later, Marley went to her locker to put away the pink t-shirt she'd worn to the group number after changing in the girls' bathroom and looked at the note that read "I love my mom," cracking a smile.
"Hi Marley" Marissa approached her with a sweet and shy smile, hugging the books to her chest. "I'm Marissa"
"I know," Marley said, smiling as she closed her locker and looked at the blonde girl. "You're dating Ryder and joined the glee club; your rendition with "I'm like a bird" was beautiful"
"Thank you" Marissa smiled as both girls started walking down the hallway. "That group number was really fun, don´t you think?"
"Yeah, and colorful," Marley said giggling. "Kurt was a genius"
"He was," Marissa agreed. "hey um…Is it okay if we talk for a minute?" she asked shyly.
"Sure" Marley said as they walked to the courtyard and sat at one of the tables. "what is it?"
"It's just…I feel bad about what happened last time," Marissa confessed. "It must have been awkward for you to find out that I was Ryder's girlfriend and you liked him. I swear I didn't mean to"
"It's fine," Marley told her softly. "Actually, you are so nice and sweet and Ryder is so lucky to be dating you. besides, I moved on"
"I saw that you and that cute guy are getting to know each other" Marissa points out smiling. "What's his name? Sebastian or something?"
"Yeah, Sebastian Smythe," Marley says. "and yes, he is so cute and wonderful; we even shared our first kiss"
"Oh my God" Marissa says excitedly and then puts her hand over Marley´s. "I´m so happy for you Marley, I mean it. you are an amazing girl and you deserve to live your own fairytale"
"Thank you Marissa" Marley smiles. "I wish the same for you and Ryder" Marissa smiles as a thank you and gets up from the seat. "Hey, do you want to have lunch with Rachel, Olivia, Danielle and I? since you´re new in New Directions and you want to get to know everyone"
"I'd love to," Marissa agreed and both girls got up, left the courtyard and walked to the cafeteria to have lunch together. "After all,we should take advantage of the chances that come our way, right?"
"Right" Marley agrees, just when they were about to head to the cafeteria, Jake walked over to them. "Jake…" Marley clears her throat awkwardly.
"Marley…can we talk?" Jake asked her. "please?"
"Now is not a good time" Marley told him. "As you see, Marissa and I are going to have lunch with the girls"
"I see," Jake coldly says, looking at Marissa. " you're the new girl that Shuester replaced me with; Can you even sing or are you just another dumb Barbie?
"I better go" Marissa was quick to reply. "I'll see you at the cafeteria Marley"
"Go ahead, I'll catch up with you later" Marley said watching as Marissa left and was left alone with her ex-boyfriend. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why do you treat her like that? Marissa didn't do anything to you"
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," Jake said. "I'm just upset that they replaced me for a blonde girl."
"You quit, did you forget?" Marley reminded him. "And your brother tried to talk you into going back to the glee club but you refused. Marissa is a really nice girl and she's talented. I understand you're upset but that doesn't give you the right to take it out on an innocent girl; besides...she It's not your girlfriend, it's Ryder's"
"You made out with someone else to rub it in my face," Jake said. "Are you using Sebastian as a rebound to make me jealous?"
"How dare you?" Marley was upset. "I kissed Sebastian because I like him and he treats me better than you; he wouldn't be able to cheat on me and break my heart. On the other hand, you...preferred to sleep with a hateful cheerleader to satisfy your whims as a womanizer" she turned around to leave, but Jake grabbed her arm.
"Listen to me…" Jake pleaded. "I know I screwed up, but Marley I still love you and I want us to be together" his eyes filled with tears. "I'm not interested Bree"
"I've heard enough, Jake," Marley told him, her blue eyes cold as ice. "I was in love with you once but not anymore, I will never fall for someone again, especially someone toxic like you" she then turned on her heels and walked away, leaving Jake alone.

Just as Marley finished singing, some members of New Directions looked at the brunette in confusion but clapped politely anyway; Danielle immediately raised her hand.
"Yes Danielle?" Will encouraged the redhead to give her opinion.
"With all due respect, Mr. Schue, I think we're all wondering why Marley sang about her ex-boyfriend," Danielle inquired gently.
"Yeah, as far as I'm concerned; the assignment of the week is about chances," Josh added. "not about never ever getting back together with someone"
"Marley, we know you're a fan of Taylor Swift and all, but why sing a song to Jake? The dude´s not here anymore," Mercedes said.
"I understand that the assignment for the week is about chances," Marley said. "And I'm trying to follow it, but Jake has been insisting that we get back together lately and I've already been pretty clear that I don't want anything with him. I'm sorry I didn't live up to your expectations" she shook her head and walked out of the choir room leaving her teammates more confused than before.
"What's wrong with that girl?" Santana asked. "she is acting weird and everything we say to her, she takes it personally"
"The breakup with Jake was so hard for Marley Santana," Rachel reiterated and then looked at her teacher. "Mr. Schue, just like Danielle said, the assignment of the week is about chances, but if Marley wants to sing about a breakup she can do it."
"Thanks for the observation Rachel," said Will. "yeah guys, it's okay for you to follow the week's assignment, but this is a free place where each of you can express yourself"
"Yeah, and if we're being honest, the song was a hint," Olivia added. "Marley's song mentions that her ex asked her for a second chance but she told him they were never getting back together"
"It's not Marley's song, it's Taylor Swift," Brittany said.
"Marley only sang that song, Brittany," Ryder said. "We already know that the original songwriter is Taylor"
"Can we do a tribute to Taylor Swift later?" Tina wanted to know.

"Guys!" Will caught the attention of his students. "Now is not the time to argue, better concentrate on the assignment of the week. Remember that it's about chances' ' the bell rang and everyone got up from their seats to leave. "you can go"
The kids started to leave the choir room in silence; Sebastian sighed, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and started to walk out of the choir room when Finn walked up to him.
"Hey, are you okay?" Finn asked as he looked at Sebastian. "I noticed something uncomfortable when Marley sang "We are never ever getting back together" a while ago"
"I don't know, sometimes my head wants to play tricks on me," Sebastian said, sitting up and covering his face with his hands. "Marley told me that she loves me, but...something tells me that she still has feelings for Jake or else she wouldn't dedicate a song to him"
"Dude, Maybe you weren't paying attention," Finn told him. "The lyrics are about a girl who's never going to get back together with her boyfriend. it's clear that she chose you" he sat next to her. "Just tell me something... do you love Marley or do you just like her? I don't blame you, she's beautiful, smart and very sweet. but her heart was already broken once, don't try to break her heart again"
"Why are you telling me this, Finn?" Sebastian wanted to know. "Do you have a crush on my girlfriend? because I´m going to kick your butt, plus…cheating on Rachel? What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What? No! I don't like Marley" Finn clarified. "I´m happily dating Rachel; yeah she is short and a little demanding but I´m in love with her. The point is…my girlfriend and yours are best friends." Finn rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. "Look Sebastian, I know you and I had our differences when you first joined the glee club and I was jealous of your talent; but I really think you are a good guy and you make Marley happy"
"Answering your question…I'm in love with Marley" Sebastian said. "Only when she told me she took me by surprise, I was paralyzed and I didn't know what to say to her. I get nervous when I'm around her because she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I really want to tell her that I love her too, just that… .I don't know how"
"Simple." Finn gave a half smile. "When you don't know what to say, sing a song." He got up from his seat, walked over to the piano and grabbed some sheet music before returning to Sebastian and handed to him the music sheet. "Try this one"
Sebastian read the title of the music sheet; "I knew I loved you", which was a beautiful ballad from the 90´s and most of the people used it as the first dance of their weddings.
"Savage Garden?" Sebastian looks at Finn confused. "wow uh…I didn´t know you like that band"
"Yeah, they´re totally awesome," Finn smirks. "I won Rachel over when I sang to her "Truly Madly Deeply"; those guys have magic in their voices; despite they´re a boy band from the 90´s; so…I think it's perfect if you sing "I knew I loved you" to Marley, and tell her how you really feel"
Sebastian looks at the music sheet once more and then looks up smiling at Finn, getting up from his seat and putting his backpack on his shoulder.
"You know? I guess it's not such a bad idea after all" Sebastian smiled. "My girl loves ballads; the other day we sang "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins and it was a very romantic moment"
"Then you know what to do" Finn said with a smirk and patted him on the back. "Go get your Cinderella"
"Thanks for the advice man, I owe you" Sebastian and Finn fist-pumped and both boys left the choir room.
At lunchtime, Michelle took her tray of food and sat at a separate table; Since she was new, she didn't know almost anyone and Josh wasn't there at the time because they both ate at different times.
"Hi, can I sit here?" Michelle looked up to find a beautiful teenage girl with long brown hair and eyes as blue as the sea, smiling sweetly at her and holding a tray of food. "You're Mike's little sister, right?"
"Yes, I'm Michelle" smiled the young lady. "sure, you can sit"
"Thank you" said Marley and sat down in front of Michelle. "I'm Marley by the way" she added, shaking her hand. "Marley Rose" she puts the straw and her chocolate carton and takes a sip.
"Yeah, I know who you are," Michelle immediately nods. "your mom is the kind lady who bakes delicious chocolate muffins"
"Yeah, that's her," Marley says as she takes a bite of her ham sandwich and starts chewing slowly, while Michelle starts eating her pasta with tuna. "However, she is constantly teased because of her weight"
"I'm sorry to hear that" Michelle sadly says. "I know how it feels like; I have problems with adapting to this country because I'm half Asian; and…if my parents find out that my boyfriend is not Asian, I'll be in trouble" Michelle looked at her plate and with the fork moved the noodles from one side to another.
"But Mike is dating Tina, right?" Marley was confused. "And you're happy with Josh; then...the heart wants what it wants"
"The difference is that Tina is also Asian" replied Michelle. "That's why my parents accepted her relationship with my brother; instead... I'm afraid they'll tell me that I can't see Josh anymore" she took a forkful of her pasta and kept eating before taking a sip of her apple juice.
"Your parents have to accept that you're growing up and they can't always protect you," Marley said softly to Michelle. "Josh is a good boy and treats you like a princess. he doesn't have to be from your culture for you guys to be together. what about Mike? he accepted that you have a boyfriend"
"You don't know my parents, Marley," Michelle said sadly. "My mom is still a little more understanding but my dad...is very strict. He thinks Mike being a dancer is a waste of time; If I tell him I'm dating a non-Asian guy... I'll be grounded until I'm thirty."
"I promise you that's not going to happen," Marley assured the Asian-American teenager. "If you need me to be with you when you talk to your dad, count me in"
"Thank you Marley, you are really nice" Michelle said smiling.
"You're welcome," Marley told her. "Speaking of Josh, where is he?" She looked around but didn't see him in the cafeteria. "I thought he would eat with you" she finished her sandwich and took a sip of her chocolate.
"We both eat at different times" Michelle's cell phone vibrated and she looked at it. "It's him" she looked at the message and smiled. "He says he misses me and he doesn't like that we eat at different times"
"See? I told you he's cute" Marley giggled.
"Yes, what I love most about him are his dimples," Michelle sighed. "Especially when he smiles, and not only he is gorgeous...he also sing like an angel"
"well...everyone in the glee club noticed how his green eyes like a christmas tree light up when he talks about you" commented Marley with a smirk. "it's obvious that the boy is in love with you; you are very pretty"
"I don't know," Michelle answered shyly. "I'm new to this first love thing. And... I love Josh but I don't know if he feels the same way about me."
"Hey, join my club," Marley told the young girl. "I'm dating Sebastian and honestly he's giving me mixed signals. We kiss and I know he likes me but I feel like you."
"really?" Michelle's brown eyes widened.

"Isn't it very frustrating?" Michelle said and both she and Marley laughed.

"I think we have the solution to that" Mercedes said approaching the table with Santana, Brittany, Olivia and Rachel. "Hello ladies, we don't mean to listen to your conversation but...we couldn't help but be curious"
Guys are a bit dumb when it comes to courtship" Santana said. "That's why it's boring to go out with them" she took her girlfriend's hand. "but...I'm an expert in matters of the heart"
"It's true, Lord Tubbington had problems with Lady Tubbington and Santana gave them therapy" Brittany said. "Now they are both very happy and Lady Tubbington is expecting kittens."

The song finished as both girls got up from their seats and start clapping happily; On the other hand, Mercedes and the girls bowed as a thank you. Michelle started leaving the auditorium in a hurry.
"Hey, where are you going?" Santana was confused.
"Thanks for the advice," Michelle said. "I know exactly what I'm going to do with Josh" with that, she ran out of the auditorium.
"Careful girl, don't rush. You can fall" Mercedes told her, shaking her head and smiling.
"She's in love" Rachel let the girls know as all of them left the auditorium. What they didn't know is that up on the balcony, Sebastian had watched the entire performance with a smile and now he knew exactly what he was going to do to win the heart of the sweet and beautiful Marley Rose.
"Josh!" Michelle exclaimed as Josh was at his locker putting some books inside; Josh closed his locker and looked at his beautiful girlfriend smiling; and as for her, she ran towards him and pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss.
Josh smiles against her lips and deepens the kiss, Michelle wraps her arms around his neck and he pulls her closer wrapping his arms around her waist; both teenagers started making out in the middle of the hallway; when they sensed that shortness of breath was becoming a problem, Josh parted his lips from Michelle´s and chuckled.
"Whoa.." Josh smiles and his dimples appear on his cheeks. He was the cutest guy in the whole school. "you stole my kiss babe" he stroked her long brown hair. "not that I'm complaining, but...why was that?"
"I love you" Michelle tells her boyfriend and smiles. "I love you Joshua Caleb Peterson. I´m so in love with you and…I wanted to tell you but I didn´t know how so…I took my chance and I kissed you"
"You love me?" Josh asks her and her green eyes lit up just as Marley predicted. "Do you really love me?" he asked again, taking her hands in his.
"Didn't I just show you?" Michelle told him laughing and kissed him again sweetly.
"It's just…I think I'm dreaming" Josh told her smiling. "please pinch me"
"I don't have to," Michelle told him. "I just have to make out with you"
Josh smiled and once again kissed his beautiful girlfriend passionately; when they parted, he pressed his forehead to hers.
"I love you too Michelle Andrea Chang" Josh whispered to Michelle. "I was going to tell you first but you smart girl, thought about everything" they both laughed. "I love you so much" he says before leaning in for another kiss. the two of them living in their own utopia.
"Aww they are so cute together" Amanda squeals as she and Artie look at Josh and Michelle making out.
"The important thing is that they are happy and love each other," Artie replied. "But if Mike sees his little sister making out with Josh he will have a heart attack"
"He has to accept that Michelle is not a baby anymore and she has a boyfriend," Amanda said as she stood behind Artie and started pushing his wheelchair down the corridors. "By the way, thank you for buying me lunch the other day, you didn't have to"
"It's the least I can do," Artie told her. "You were so kind to me and preferred to sit with me at lunch even though I'm disabled"
"So what?" Amanda shrugged and continued to walk her friend. "It was fun and I realized that we have things in common. You will use a wheelchair but that doesn't make you different, remember?"
"Right," Artie told her. "I'm sure if I introduce you to my mom she'll like you"
"I'd love to," Amanda told him. "And now that I think about it…we've never had a duet together. It would be nice to sing with you" she added with a sweet smile. "for fun"
"It would be an honor to sing with you Miss Amanda Calloway," Artie said smiling.
(Cloud 9 by Luke Benward Cameron starts playing; Amanda pushes Artie in his wheelchair as she walks down the hallway; the two of them sharing friendly smiles)

It was obvious that Jake wasn't going to give up without a fight and he was determined to get his ex-girlfriend back against all odds, so he steeled himself and went home that afternoon to make her see reason.
He knocked on the door several times until someone opened it and he was surprised to realize who was on the other side of the threshold.
"Jake..." Kara said, looking at her sister's ex-boyfriend seriously and crossing her arms. "What are you doing here?"
"Marley…I don't want things to be awkward between us" Jake requested. "Please, I want to talk to you" he paused to stare at her. "wait...did you dye your hair? since when are you blonde?"
"I've always been blonde," Kara told him. "and you're confusing me with my sister, I'm Kara"
"Wow uh...this is so weird." Jake rubbed the back of his neck. "You look just like Marley, I could swear you were her. Aren't you twins?"
"I'm older than her," Kara told him. "but you didn't answer my question, what are you doing here? now is not a good time"
"I came to talk to your sister," Jake told him. "I want you to know that it's not too late for us and I'm willing to change. I just want her back"
"Things don't work like that Jake" Kara told him coldly. "I know what you did to Marley and it was something very cruel and low, why did you cheat on her if you said you loved her? Just because she didn't want to give you what you wanted? That's not being a man, if you really loved my sister you should´ ve respected her" she was closing the door but Jake stopped her.
"Wait," Jake asked.. "I know I screwed up Kara, my affair with Bree was a mistake. I only love Marley, but it turns out that she is in love with Sebastian"
"Sebastian is a good boy and he treats my sister like a princess," Kara reiterated. "Instead you were a coward and missed your chance with Marley. move on Jake, she already did"
"Kara please…" Jake begged.
"Have a good day" Kara simply said and closed the door in his face; Jake tearfully turned on his heels and walked away.
The next day, Marley was putting some books inside her locker when she found a note. Curiously, she opened it and started reading with a big smile on her face.
MEET ME IN THE CHOIR ROOM

Marley smiled, put the note in her locker and headed to the choir room where Sebastian was waiting for her.
"Sebastian?" Marley asked, looking around.
"I guess you read my note, huh?" Sebastian told her walking into the choir room wearing a suit and handing her a red rose. "this is for you"
"Yes I did, you were very spontaneous babe" Marley said with a giggle and looked at him. "Thanks for the rose, it reminds me of my last name" she added sniffing the rose and smiled at the delicious aroma.
"I wanted to give you something that reminded me of you," Sebastian told her, stroking her long brown hair and kissing her forehead. "so I thought of a rose for the beautiful and sweet Marley Rose"
"That was lovely," Marley giggles. "But why are you wearing a suit? you look so handsome by the way"
You told me you loved me and I didn't know what to say" confessed Sebastian. "I must confess that I got nervous...in fact I'm nervous now because you are an amazing girl and you deserve the best. so..." the band moved into the choir room and Sebastian motioned for his girlfriend to sit down, which she did and the rest of the New Directions guys lined up next to Sebastian, all wearing suits. "I want to express to you what I feel in the only way I know: hope you like it" he took her hand and kissed it before motioning for the band to start playing.
(The band starts playing "I knew I loved you" by Savage Garden" as Sebastian serenades his girlfriend and looks at her lovingly, Marley feels touched by the performance and looks at Sebastian tearfully and lovingly as well. The New Directions boys /Finn, Puck, Ryder, Mike, Kurt, Puck, Artie and Josh) do the chorus and harmonize; Sebastian sings to Marley and smiles at her telling her that he is in love with her in a song)

Just as Sebastian finished singing, Marley happily and with happy tears starts clapping before getting up from her seat and runs to hug her handsome boyfriend, who hugs her back and spins her around making her laugh.
"You liked it?" Sebastian wanted to know.
"Like it? Sebastian, that was beautiful" Marley says sweetly. "I love Savage Garden so much and that was so romantic"
"What I'm trying to say Marley is that…I love you" Sebastian took Marley´s hands in his and looked into her gorgeous blue eyes. "you´re the most beautiful girl I´ve ever seen in my life and you are so kind and sweet, you have stolen my heart since the first moment I saw you and…I´m in love with you. I´m sorry for not telling you before, I'm not good with words..."
"That was perfect," Marley says, wrapping her arms around his neck. "It was so beautiful what you did for me, I don't need jewels or living in a castle, I already found my prince and he is right in front of me. I love you so much Sebastian"
"And I found my princess, with long brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes like the ocean," Sebastian told her lovingly. "I love you my beautiful girl"
"Better late than ever, right?" Marley chuckles as she nuzzles her nose with his.
"Yeah" Sebastian agrees, smiling. "I found my chance and I took it"
Sebastian and Marley leaned towards each other and started kissing passionately, celebrating the fact that the two of them found true love.
(Scene changes to the auditorium where Finn, Marley, Rachel, Sebastian and Josh are sitting on a stool on stage performing the last song of the chances week´s assignment as Will Schuester and the rest of the New Directions members (Ryder, Marissa, Artie, Kurt, Puck, Santana, Brittany, Danielle, Marissa, Tina, Olivia, Mike and Amanda) and Michelle are watching them from the audience; Amanda lays her head on Artie´s shoulder just like Brittany does with Santana, Ryder holds Marissa´s hand, the rest of them smile. "Chances" by Five for fighting starts playing)
