A few hours later the police had all left along with her FBI guards and soon Penelope was alone with her family, Fran said, "I don't know about you guys but I think this has been a long day". Derek said, "I agree with you momma, it's been a long, tiring and definitely stressful" and Penelope said, "but it's over, it's finally over, he can't hurt me or anybody else ever again"
Derek kissed the top of her head and said, "no he can't, now he will go to trial and be found guilty and spend the rest of his rotten life where he belongs, in prison, far far away from you" and hearing that Penelope couldn't help but smile. Hotch said, "well we're going to head on out, we need to get home to Jack" and Penelope said, "what about the case"?, Dave said, "don't worry about that, when we let the brass know what was going on they sent another team".
Penelope said, "I'm so sorry that I have caused you all so much trouble", Emily said, "Penelope Grace Garcia I don't want to hear that kind of talk coming from your mouth again, you never have been and you never will be trouble". Penelope looked up at her friend and said, "I love you Em" she winked at Penelope and said, "and I love you, now go get changed out of those clothes and maybe take a bath and then get into bed".
Penelope saluted Emily and said, "yes Mrs. Hotchner" and everybody laughed and hugged her one final time before the four headed out leaving Penelope alone with Derek and his family. Fran said, "sweetheart do you need any help"?, she shook her head and said, "no, I'll be okay but thanks Fran, thanks everybody", they all smiled and then hugged her as they made their way out of the living room and headed toward their rooms.
Derek intertwined fingers with Penelope and said, "I am so glad that you're alright, when I saw you over those cameras I thought my heart was going to burst from my chest" and she looked up at him and said, "I was so afraid Derek, I was afraid that he was going to, that he was going to" and Derek wrapped his arms around her and said, "but he didn't, you, Clooney and Mudgie were able to fight him off, I am so proud of you"
She looked up at him and said, "I remembered everything you taught me in those classes and then it was just like everything was happening in slow motion as I started using the techniques, it felt amazinggggggg to be able to kick his butt". Derek laughed and said, "I saw the whole thing as it was happening I was cheering you on and scared to death at the same time and then when he knocked you to the ground and got on top of you that's when my heart stopped".
She touched his face and said, "I love you Derek Michael Morgan, I always have and I always always will", he said, "and love you baby girl, you are the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with, have kids with, grow old with, everything baby girl, I want everything with you".
Penelope said, "and I want everything with you and I believe I'm ready", he said, "baby you don't have to" and before he could finish that sentence her lips had claimed his in a passionate kiss. When they broke apart she said, "I love you Derek and I want you, I want you to make love to me, I want you to help me erase those bad memories and make me remember only you, only your love, only your touches, your kisses".
Derek nodded his head and said, "your wish is my command baby girl" as he intertwined fingers with her and started leading her toward his bedroom where he had every intention on showing her just exactly how much he loved and desired her.
