Hello guys! I´m back again with a new update, this time we´re going to focus in the rehearsals and opening night of "The Greatest Showman"; I am so grateful for the kind reviews in the last chapter and this is not the end of the story, there will be a lot of surprises.
Before we continue, just like always, I´m going to give you a recap of what happened in the last chapter.
Will recruited his niece, his wife, Artie and Coach Beiste to direct the musical, the auditions started, there was a call back to test the kids abilities in the school play; we saw the casting choices and how Olivia made Coach Beiste cry with her original song.
This time, Fletcher Mantini (Lin-Manuel Miranda) will attend the opening night to evaluate the entire musical and write his notes on it, in addition to being attentive to every detail.
Andy (Meg Donnelly) will help in the rehearsals and the choreography for the kids to do an excellent job on opening night.
Rachel (Lea Michele) feels ignored by Finn (Cory Monteith) when he obsesses with the musical and starts rehearsing with Danielle (Nathalia Ramos) and everyone else, so she finds comfort in her cousin (Grace Fulton)
I decided to make some last minute changes to improve the chapter and in this way repair the damage, as I mentioned in my author's note, it was never my intention to offend anyone.
The directors fear that casting Marley as Anne may cause a controversy, so they decide to take action and recruit a girl named Elise Barton (Candice Patton) for Anne Wheeler and give Marley another role in the musical.

They were all in the dressing room trying on their costumes for their characters, surprisingly they were satisfied with the results; the costumes were exactly like the ones in the movie.
"I feel so weird wearing a beard and mustache," Mercedes said laughing after putting on the fake beard and mustache. "good thing this thing is not itchy"
"What do you think?" Marissa said, turning around and putting on a long brown wig.
"Wow, you are a perfect Caroline" Danielle told him with a smile.
"And you look amazing as Jenny Lind," Rachel said, holding the blonde wig in her hands.
"Hello Charity" Danielle said with a smile. "You haven't put on the blonde wig yet"
"Oh wait…" Rachel tied her hair into a bun and pulled on the blonde wig. "I don't know, I feel like it's not me"
"Wow" everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"Berry, you look hot," Santana told him. "I think I love you"
"I don't think Brittany would like to hear that" Olivia said laughing and saw that Josh was putting on a vest over his white shirt, she was wearing a blue dress "it's hilarious, isn't it? we're going to play the young versions of Finn and Rachel "
"Yeah, I know," Josh said. "Don't you feel a little weird that you're playing my love interest in the play?"
"Yeah, considering you're dating Michelle," Olivia said. "I don't want her to be jealous, she's a great girl"
"It's fine," Josh assured her. "My girlfriend already knows that it's just acting, it's not that you and I have romantic feelings towards each other"
"No, not at all," Olivia said and they watched as Tina helped Kurt into his general outfit. "Who would have thought that in the end they would give the role of Charles Stratton to Kurt"
"Maybe they saw his potential," said Amanda, who was wearing a pink dress, her hair in a half ponytail and wearing a pink ribbon. "Hello everyone, I'm Helen"
"Hi," Artie said as he walked into the locker room and looked at Amanda. "You look amazing"
"Thank you" Amanda said looking at her costume from head to toe and then at him. "I feel bad that you're not in the musical"
"Don't be, I'm going to direct it and that's what makes me happy" Artie said, Amanda smiled sweetly at him.
"Is it me or is there something going on between Artie and Amanda?" Tina asked, finishing helping Kurt.
"You can tell they like each other," Kurt said with a smirk. "And Amanda is so nice, I'm sure she and Artie would make a lovely couple."
Marley was hesitant to try on Anne's costume, I think it was a mistake, she sighed and continued looking at the costume.
"Marley, what's up?" Santana asked her. "I thought you were excited to play Anne Wheeler"
"I don't know, I feel like I'm making a mistake," Marley said. "is not right"
"What are you talking about?" Josh asked.
"I never should´ve auditioned for Anne," Marley said. "I don't know what I was thinking. I don't want to be a monster" her blue eyes fill with tears. "I'm sorry..."
"Marley?" Andy asked her, approaching her. "Is something wrong?"
"She doesn't feel confident playing Anne Wheeler," Kurt said. "In a way, she's right. Anne's character is black and Marley isn't, it would be racist...no offense," he told Marley. "Seeing a white-skinned girl play a black trapeze artist can cause a controversy"
"I see," Andy commented. "Listening to the Rewrite the Stars song, it talks about an interracial relationship and how they can't be together. Well, opening night is in two weeks, we still have time to make a cast change"
"Would you like to be Caroline?" Marissa asked Marley. "To be honest, you look more like her physically and you also love ballet"
Yes, I think it's better that I be Caroline" said Marley nodding. "but... who will you be?"
"Queen Victoria," Marissa said. "I learned the British accent by watching Margaret Thatcher"
"Okay, then I'll meet with the others and convince them to make the changes" Andy said with a smile and putting his hand on Marley's shoulder. "Don't worry, everything will be fine. Besides, you can be calm, you won't have to get on the trapeze" Marley sighs with relief.
"When I was three years old, I took ballet classes," Marley said with a smile. "that's much easier for me"
"Artie, what's going on?" Rachel asked, wearing her Charity costume and still wearing the blonde wig. "Tina is helping us with the costume fitting"
"I know, sorry for the interruption. We're going to the auditorium. "Finn and Sebastian need to rehearse the scene where PT recruits Phillip to join the show and they're at the bar, But...you guys better change" he added with a smirk, everyone went to take off their costumes and wigs. "um...I need someone to play the bartender"
"I will," said Puck. "My scene is very short at the beginning and then I won't come out until the second act"
"Okay," Artie said as he and Puck left the room.
An hour later, everyone was gathered in the choir room, they had moved the chairs and set up the props as if it were a canteen. Puck stood behind the table with some fake bottles of alcohol, which had water inside to simulate that it was whiskey.
"Thanks for coming guys," Andy says as she holds a note pad. "As you know, this is one of the key scenes. PT talks to Phillip about joining the show and they both drink; Finn and Sebastian...to your places."
Finn nodded as did Sebastian, they both sat on a stool in front of Puck while the others paid attention.
"And action," Artie said.
Sebastian: Mr Barnum, I just can't run off and join the circus
Finn: Why not? sounds thrilling, isn't it?
Sebastian: Let's just say that I find it much more comfortable admiring your show from afar
Finn: Confort, the enemy of progress
Sebastian: Do you understand that just associating with you could cost me my inheritance?
Finn: Oh, it could cost you more than that. You'd be risking everything, But on the other hand, well, you just might find yourself a free man
(They pretend to drink the whiskey; The scene is recreated as Finn and Sebastian rehearse "The other side", Puck acts as the bartender; New Directions are attentive with the rehearsal)

"Whoo!" New Directions cheered when the rehearsal ended.
"Guys! Finn…Sebastian, that was awesome!" Will laughed happily as he laughed, he was sitting in the audience with Emma, Artie, Andy and Shannon.
"It was all thanks to Andy and Mike," Finn said, trying to catch his breath. "We were rehearsing the choreography all week"
"Luckily we were able to dance and drink at the same time" Sebastian said with a smirk.
"Were you drinking whiskey?" Shannon was shocked.
"No, it was water," Andy points out "but we had to do it this way to make it look realistic, after all, the bartender fills the glasses with whiskey"
Luckily Finn managed to learn the steps" Mike says with a satisfied smile.
"I'm dancing better," Finn confessed. "not like in sophomore year in the rehearsal that I almost broke my girlfriend's nose"
"You broke it Finn" Rachel told him. "and Quinn still convinced me to get a nose job"
"I said I was sorry about that Rach" Finn sheepishly said.
"Until we all gave you a Barbra-Vention at the mall and you regretted it," Marley reminded her friend. "Your nose is special and it's a legacy of your Jewish roots"
Okay, that was all for today; tomorrow we will rehearse the Charity scene" Emma indicated. "you can go"
Everyone got up from their seats and left the auditorium; Rachel was gathering her things until Finn approached her.
"Hey babe" Finn greets Rachel with a kiss. "so…what do you think of the rehearsal? Do you think it was good? Sorry for missing the fitting costumes, Andy and Artie had me and Sebastian rehearse the scene twice. I think the fact that Fletcher Mantini is coming to see the musical makes them nervous"
Don't worry," Rachel told him. "Everyone was happy with the result; Tina did a great job getting the costumes for the movie; I had to wear a blonde wig to be Charity."
"I bet you looked stunning," Finn told her as they left the auditorium and started walking down the corridors.
"To be honest, I still don´t get used to being blonde" Rachel giggles nervously and then moves a strand of her hair behind her ear. "um...I thought you and Sebastian rehearsing the scene as Phillip and Phineas was great. most thought you were drinking whiskey"
"No, it was water; I´m not drinking until I turn 18" Finn told her. "Rachel, there´s something I need to tell you"
"Okay" Rachel said as they stopped at her boyfriend's locker. "what is it?"
"I know I told you today that I would go to dinner with your dads, your cousin and you but... I have to rehearse my scenes with Danielle, after all she's going to be Jenny Lind and remember that she and PT spend almost all the time together" Finn said.
"Finn, we've been planning this dinner for two weeks," Rachel said. "my dad was going to prepare your favorite food"
"I know, just…Fletcher Mantini is coming to see the musical and it's important to Mr. Schue," Finn said. "I'm sorry, maybe... we can reschedule for another week"
"I don't know if that's going to be possible," Rachel said. "My parents are going to Cleveland to see Cher in concert. I thought you wanted to spend time with my family. I never miss your family dinners and Carole likes me to come."
"Rachel, it's not my fault I'm the lead in The Greatest Showman!" Finn snapped."I have to do my best or else I'll fail everyone."
"Are you really listening to yourself, Finn?" Rachel started to get upset. "You're obsessing over a musical that you don't even have time to spend with me anymore; you didn't even go to try on your costume; you and I also have to rehearse scenes and you don't care"
Rachel, I love you. But I'm not going to be with you twenty-four hours a day" Finn told her. "I want you to give me a break"
Rachel was shocked, that hurt.
"I got it" Rachel said, nodding and her eyes filled with tears. "It was a waste of time being your girlfriend in the first place." She started to turn around and Finn grabbed her arm.
"No, Rachel, wait…I didn't mean that…" Finn started to say.
"Save it," Rachel said. "Have fun rehearsing with Danielle" she wriggled out of her boyfriend's grasp and walked away from the halls, tears slipping down her cheeks.
(Rachel walks down the halls looking straight ahead as tears fall down her face as Finn looks at her sadly. Rachel feels isolated by Finn lately, she feels lonely)

Rachel gasps, wipes away tears, and leaves the empty stage; what she didn't realize was that Danielle had watched everything sadly.
An hour later, Finn and Danielle were rehearsing the scene between PT Barnum and Jenny Lind one more time; looking as professional as possible.
Danielle: (holds a newspaper and pretends to read) "it is a though we have learned for the first time…what singing really is; Miss Lind deserves our nation's highest esteem and most lavish ovations (she stops reading and looks at Finn) I mean…the world at our feet. well Mr Barnum…this is…is… (both laugh) to making dreams come true.
Finn: thank you Jenny
Danielle: It's two hours to curtain, I've given you the world, haven´t I?
"Wait…" Danielle stops rehearsing. "Can we stop for a second?"
"What is it Danielle?" Emma asks at the redhead.
"Finn and I've rehearsed the scene more than five times," Danielle requested. "I need a break or else I'll have no voice for opening night"
"We have to show our best to Fletcher Mantini," Will said.. "He's a harsh critic and if we don't put on a good performance..."
"I'm sorry Mr. Schue but Danielle has a point," Finn said. "All we've done is rehearse; I didn't go to try on the PT costume because I was rehearsing with Sebastian, I'm going to miss dinner with Rachel, her dads and her cousin because of rehearsing. I'm not just going to be in the musical, why don't others rehearse too? they are important too and for acting like you, my girlfriend got mad at me and thinks i'm ignoring her"
"Just one more time please," Will asked. "It has to be perfect"
"No," Andy said. "I'm sorry Uncle Will, but I think you're overreacting; I understand that you feel pressured because Fletcher Mantini is coming to see the play, but Finn and the others are not machines or robots, they need to rest and you are only pressuring them since rehearsals began" she looked at Finn and Danielle. "guys, go to rest. see you tomorrow, we will rehearse the other scenes"
"Thanks Andy" Danielle said, slinging her backpack over her shoulder and leaving the auditorium.
"See you tomorrow," Finn said leaving the auditorium.
"I don't get it, what did I do wrong?" said Will.
"You're pressuring the kids too hard, Will," Emma said sadly. "and you have to stop; they are already talented, you have to believe in them"
"Screw what Fletcher Mantini thinks," Shannon said. "We're doing the musical for the kids; not that the play is nominated for a Tony award or anything, it should be fun and you're just making it tedious"
"Actually, there's something I have to tell you," Andy said, taking a deep breath. "A while ago, when the kids were trying on their costumes, Marley didn't feel comfortable playing Anne"
"I don't get it, I thought she wanted that role more than anything" Artie said confused. "Or else why would she have auditioned?"
"Wait, Marley has a point," Shannon chimed in. "We were so focused on the auditions that we didn't check the characters carefully; the trapeze girl is black, Marley is white. the last thing we want is for the audience to feel offended, Fletcher Mantini is a distinguished critic and if he sees that we casted a white girl to play Anne, we can get into serious trouble"
So Marley as Caroline" Emma said, making the changes in the cast. '' And who will be Marissa?"
"She said she wants to be Queen Victoria," Andy said. "she can speak with a British accent"
"Okay, but now...where do we get a black girl like Anne?" Will asks.
"I've got this" Andy said with a smile and dialed a phone.
"Hello?" a female voice answered on the other end.
"Hi Elise," smiled Andy. "How is everything?"
"Hey girl" Elise smiled, she was running in the park and went to sit on a bench to answer the phone. She was a beautiful African-American girl who was a senior in her high school, but she had a free period right now "I'm glad you called, what's up?"
"Are you busy right now? I need your help" said Andy, a bit nervous.
"I'm never busy for my best friend," Elise smiled. "whatever it is, count me in"
"As you know, McKinley is doing The Greatest Showman as this year's musical," Andy explained. "In fact, the cast has already been cast and we've started rehearsals."
"I know, I'm not going to miss it. I saw the movie and I love it" Elise said smiling.
"This is the thing," the blonde sighed. "There was a last minute change, Marley Rose, the girl who was going to play Anne Wheeler well... she didn't feel very good because she's white and there could be a serious problem and people could be offended. So ...would you like to play Anne instead of Marley?"
"Sure, I'd love to" smiled Elise and then hesitated a bit. "but only if the other directors agree"
"Hold on," Andy asked her friend.
"Okay" Elise agrees as she pulls out her bottle of water and drinks it.
"I'm on the phone with Elise" said Andy looking at the others. "I asked her if she wants to be Anne in the play and she wants to, but only if you agree; And don't worry, she's black-skinned, she'll be the perfect Anne Wheeler, and she has a mystical beauty, she'll captivate audiences for sure"
"Does she know how to do stunts?" asked Artie.
"Please, I'm the daughter of an acrobat who works in a circus," Elise said laughing. "I learned to slide on a trapeze since I was four years old and if you ask... I can also sing"
"We want her," Emma said, smiling. "When can she show up for rehearsals?"
"Thanks for waiting Ellie" Andy told her. "sorry about that"
"It's okay," Elise said. "And don't worry, I'm not going to let you down"
"My aunt Emma Pillsbury is asking when can you show up for rehearsals?" Andy told her. "I just have to warn you, the boy who will play your love interest in the musical is out"

"See you soon," Andy told her and hung up the call and looked at the others "we have our Anne Wheeler"
Yeah!" The directors cheered and high-fived the blonde girl.
What's your friend Elise's last name?" Artie asked Andy.
"Barton," Andy said.
"Well, I'll go post the list again," Shannon said, getting up from her seat and walking out of the auditorium.
An hour later, Marissa, Josh, Santana, and Ryder went to check the bulletin board and saw that there had been a change in the cast.

"Hi, what's going on?" asked Marley approaching them, she was leaving her history class.
"They made some last minute changes to the cast list," Ryder said. "a new girl will be Anne"
"A certain Elise Barton," Santana said. "Her name sounds like a famous actress or supermodel. Who the hell in Lima Ohio is called like that?"
"If they chose her as Anne it's because she's really good," said Marissa smiling. "great, I'll be queen Victoria"
"Marissa, do you realize that you have to speak with a British accent, right?" Josh asked.
"Oh darling, you're not ready for tea time yet," Marissa spoke up in a perfect British accent.
"Holy moly" Josh exclaimed, shocked and amazed at the same time.
Wow, I believed you for a second and I could've sworn you were an English lady" Santana said with a satisfied smile.
"I told you so," Marissa commented, speaking in her normal American accent.
Marley, I think you're going to like this" Ryder said to the brunette girl with blue eyes.
Everyone made way to let Marley pass, she approached the list and her face lit up when she saw the character she was going to play in the musical.
"I'm going to be Caroline Barnum!" Marley said with immense joy and covered her mouth with her hand. "Oh my gosh, I'm Caroline," she adds giggling.
"Looking at you from head to toe you do look like her" Josh said.
"You won't have a problem with another girl doing the romantic scenes with Sebastian?" Santana asked her. "I understand you guys are dating"
"I know Santana," Marley said softly to the Latina cheerleader. "But it's just acting and I trust Sebastian; he's not like Jake who cheated on me with Bree, he's better"
On the other hand, After what had happened with Rachel a few moments ago, Danielle decided to give Finn a piece of his mind.
"Finnegan Christopher Hudson…" Danielle walked behind him into the halls. "What do you think you're doing?"
"What are you talking about?" Finn wanted to know.
"Don't play dumb" Danielle told him. "You know exactly what I'm talking about, you canceled your plans with Rachel to rehearse with me. I'm not your girlfriend, she is. And if you love her, you should be with her. I saw her in the auditorium singing "Tightrope" and she looked devastated that you're ignoring her"
You're right" Finn said. "I was an ass to Rachel and now she hates me, I want to tell her I'm sorry"
"Not me, tell her" Danielle said. "Don't be another Jesse who broke her heart. Be better. She loves you Finn, don't screw it up."
"I think...I better go home and get ready for dinner with her dads," Finn said. "Leroy made homemade Hawaiian pizza."
"And you better do a romantic act with my friend or you'll regret it" Danielle threatened jokingly.
"Consider it done" Finn said and ran off to get ready for dinner.
Rach... my uncles told me to get you, dinner is ready" Peyton entered her cousin's room and saw that she was sitting on her bed, her eyes puffy after crying and hugging her teddy bear that Finn won for her when they had their date at the fair, "hey, what's wrong cuz?" he sat next to her.
"Finn canceled the family dinner" Rachel cried. "It seemed more important to him to rehearse for the musical than to be with me. I think he's ashamed"
"Come here" said Peyton and Rachel approached the arms of her cousin, who hugged her. "don't listen to him, surely he didn't mean it" she wiped her tears. "If he doesn't come to dinner, he misses it since he won't taste my Uncle Leroy's delicious pizza and it's a shame because he loves Hawaiian." Rachel laughed. "Come on Rachel, I don't like to see you cry. you're too beautiful for your tears to be wasted by a stupid boy"
You're right, it's not worth it" Rachel said standing up. "Come on, we don't have to keep my parents waiting"
"That's my girl," Peyton said, smiling and they both left her room.
"Rachela" Hiram called his daughter smiling. "I hope you put on your best dress because someone wants to see you"

"Thank you Mr. and Mr. Berry" Finn said entering the house, he was wearing a blue formal shirt, beige dress pants and black shoes, his hair was combed and he was holding a chocolate cake in one hand and a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the other. Red roses. "I hope I'm not late"
You arrived on time Finn" said Le Roy approaching him. "I'll take the cake thanks" he took the cake and took it to the refrigerator to put it away. "why don't you sit down? I'll serve the pizza in a moment"
"Thank you" Finn said and watched as Rachel came down the stairs, wearing a beautiful flowery dress, her lips painted red, she wore red heels, her hair fell in soft waves and her bangs covered her forehead; Finn thought his girlfriend was a beautiful angel descending from heaven.
"Finn...what are you doing here?" Rachel asked him. I thought you weren't coming"
"I couldn't miss family dinner with the Berrys," Finn said, handing her the bouquet. "these are for you love"
"Thank you for the flowers, they are beautiful" Rachel said while taking the flowers. "you didn't have to"
"I did it because I love you," Finn said, looking at her. "Rachel, I want to apologize. I was an idiot and I treated you like trash, I was ignoring you all week and I prioritized a stupid musical when I should have focused on us" he looked at her lovingly. "You are the love of my life and I don't want to lose you, it's just... I want to be enough for you"
"I never wanted anything but the man I fell in love with…" Rachel says wrapping her arms around his neck as both stare into each other's eyes and she still holds the bouquet of roses.
"You quoted what Charity said, right?" Finn said with a smirk.
"What can I say? You're not the only one who's been rehearsing" Rachel said smiling.

"That was so beautiful" Peyton´s voice interrupted the couple as she, Hiram and Leroy clapped.
"That was an impromptu dinner theater but I loved it," Hiram said.
"We weren't acting sir," Finn said sheepishly.
"It was real, it shows," Leroy said with a smile. "but save the romantic scene for opening night, let's go to dinner"
"We better put your roses in a vase before they wither Rachie" Peyton told her cousin, taking the bouquet and placing it inside a vase with crystal clear water.
"Thanks Pey" Rachel said to her cousin and the five of them went into the dining room for dinner.
"And how are rehearsals going?" asked Leroy as he, his husband, his daughter, his son-in-law and his niece were dining on the delicious homemade pizza. "Hiram and I booked the front row."
"Dad, I'm sorry to tell you that the front row is for Fletcher Mantini" Rachel told him. "will come to see the musical"
"Who is Fletcher Mantini?" Peyton asked. "It seems that he is someone important"
"He is," Hiram explained. "He is one of the biggest musical critics in the entire United States; he made a ruthless criticism of the girl who played Grizabella in cats and destroyed her"
Okay..." Finn said nervously.
"Daddy stop it, you're scaring Finn" Rachel asked. "Every day we´ve been rehearsing, we have learned the choreography that Mike and Mr. Schue's niece taught us, Tina got the costumes for the movie and Brittany did a great job with the scenography. we will be ready"
"Well then, let's make a toast to Finn and Rachel who got the lead in The Greatest Showman and they will shine like never before on opening night" Peyton said smiling as she raised her glass.

"To Finn and Rachel" Leroy said and the five of them clinked glasses, celebrating the news.
The day of the premiere arrived, everyone was gathered behind the scenes with the rest of the production; Marley walked up to Sebastian in her Caroline Barnum costume; she was wearing a purple dress, her brown hair tied in a half ponytail with a purple ribbon, socks and black shoes.
"Whoa…" Sebastian exclaimed upon seeing his girlfriend, he was wearing his Phillip Carlyle costume. "Marley...you look..."
"Are you sure?" Marley asks him shyly, looking at herself from head to toe. "This doesn't look ridiculous?"
"I think you are the cutest Caroline Barnum I´ve ever seen in my life," Sebastian told her, making her laugh. "that dress and the ribbon in your hair look great on you"
"You say that because you're my boyfriend," Marley said.
"I don't say things that aren't true," Sebastian told her, kissing her cheek. "And what do you think about my costume?" he turned around.
"You look amazing as Phillip," said Marley. "Although I'm being honest... I get nervous dancing ballet, I haven't practiced it for years and I'm afraid of doing a pirouette wrong and the same thing happening to Danielle will happen to me..."
"Hey" Sebastian puts his fingers under her chin to force her to look at him. "Everything will be fine, you will do amazing," Sebastian said. "I love you"
"And I love you" Marley told him and the two leaned in to kiss passionately.
"Marley, Sebastian,..sorry to interrupt you guys but Mr. Schue wants us to do the show circle before the curtain call" Josh approached them wearing his young Phineas Barnum´s costume.
"Thanks dude" Sebastian said, smiling at Josh, who left again. "well...you heard Josh, let's go to the circle"
"Yeah" Marley nods as she holds her boyfriend´s hand.
"Where are Marley and Sebastian?" Olivia asked, wearing her young Charity costume.
"They're here" Andy said smiling when she saw Sebastian and Marley. "and just in time"
"Oh my God I'm freaking out!" Kurt came running towards them wearing his Charles Stratton costume. "Fletcher Mantini is seated in the audience; I think I'm going to hurl"
"Oh hell to the no," Mercedes told Kurt. "We will show that critic that we are not scared and we will leave him speechless. we can't be intimidated"
"Well said Mercedes" Danielle says smiling as she highs-five with the African-American girl.
"Okay…here I go" Rachel says as she takes the blonde wig and leans her head down to put it on, when she feels Finn's hand on her arm, he is wearing his PT Barnum costume. "Finn?"
"Don´t" Finn stopped her. "you´re beautiful"
"But Charity is blonde," Rachel protested. "I don't get it, I thought you'd like me better as a blonde" Rachel said.
"I'm not denying that you look sexy with the wig, but you are more beautiful with your long brown hair," Finn told her. "It's the real you and it's the girl I'm in love with"
"You don't mind that your Charity is brunette?" Rachel asked Finn with a smile.
I love the idea" Finn told her smiling and they saw out of the corner of their eye that Olivia and Josh were talking. "Also look at Olivia, she's not wearing a wig, it's her brown hair all the time"
"Good point, it seems more realistic" Rachel giggles."Break a leg" she adds looking at him.
"I love you" Finn tells her as they share a sweet kiss. "Come on, Mrs Barnum; everyone is waiting" he links his arm with Rachel´s.
"Well, now that everyone is here, we can start with the show circle," Elise pointed out as everyone gathered in a circle and nodded.
"I would like a few words before the curtain rises," Will said at the cast with a proud smile. "I´m so proud of you guys; everyone without exception; all of you made this possible thanks to your perseverance and consistency. you showed me that with such proceeding,, you will be able to overcome any obstacle and here you are. okay, no more tears"
"The Greatest Showman to the count of three" Andy says putting her hand in the front and everyone puts their hands on top of hers.
"One…" Josh says smiling.
"Two…" Marley adds.
"Three," Finn says.

Finally, it was time. All people applauded when the curtain was raised, and after that, everything was perfect; no more worries and anxiety; just enjoying the moment.
Mike: Phineas, hurry up. we´re gonna miss the train (Mike grabs Josh by the arm) stand up straight (he touches his shoulder as Josh stands straight) wipe that muck off (Josh pretends the clean the dust from his pants)
Scene changes to a living room; Olivia as young Charity is taking lessons on how to act as a lady and grabs a cup to drink tea. A woman's voice is teaching her how to drink tea, Josh watches Olivia with a smile imitating her, while Mike is taking measures of Puck´s suit as Charity´s father)
Woman: Arm extended, elbow out. Sip, never slurp.. Pinkie in the air, arm extended...
elbow out.. Keep your cup level.. Gently lower your cup.. Shall we do it again?. Pinkie in the air… arm extended, elbow .
Olivia: (spits the liquid and starts laughing)
Puck: (calls Olivia) Charity, come here
Olivia shyly gets up from the chair, and walks towards Puck
Puck: your dress (he wipes the liquid from her dress) Is this how we taught you to behave?"
Josh (takes a step in front and looks at Puck) it's my fault sir, I made her laugh.
Puck: well, thank you for your honesty (he pretends to slap Josh, Josh touches his cheek, Olivia gasps) stay away from my daughter
(Scene changes and Josh is sitting on the floor of the stage, Olivia walks to him and sits next to him)
Josh: How´d you get out?"
Olivia: The window (she looks at him sadly) Father is sending me to finish school (she looks down sadly) I don´t know what my future will be.

(Josh looks at Olivia with a hopeful smile, she smiles back at him)

Finn twirls Rachel around and the scene changes, where they're sitting on a chair watching the window, Rachel has a pregnant belly which she caresses lovingly, Finn puts his hand on top of hers and looks at her lovingly and then at the baby bump. the lights out and the curtain closes, the audience starts clapping.
"Whoo-hoo!" Andy cheers happily from her seat as she continues clapping.
"How did you come up with that Artie?" asked Will looking at the boy with glasses.
"I thought it would be a good idea for Olivia to have a solo in A million dreams and sing along with Josh," Artie said. "and consequently, everyone liked it, especially Fletcher"
"We don't have to claim victory yet" Shannon told them. "the other performances are missing"
Finn and Rachel walked offstage and backstage where Josh and Olivia ran towards them with huge smiles on their faces.
"Finn…Rachel, that was amazing!" Josh said smiling and his dimples marking his cheeks. "The chemistry between the two was noticeable"
"You and Rachel were born to play Phineas and Charity" Olivia said smiling. "Your duet and waltz was beautiful"
"What about you guys?" Rachel said with a smile. "You played our young versions and did amazing too"
"People in the audience thought Olivia and I were dating," Josh said. "Well except Michelle, she already knows we were acting"
"It looked so real," Finn said. "Rach and I are proud of the great job you both did"
"Thank you," Olivia said.
"Come here" Rachel said, opening her arms; Finn, Josh, and Olivia walked over to her and the four of them fell into a group hug.
The play continued and the entire audience was captivated by the performances; as well as making the musical come to life.
Sebastian was in a corner of the auditorium, peering through the curtain, waiting his turn to go onstage.
"Hey, ready to go in there? it's our turn" Elise said to Sebastian,she was wearing a white and red tank top, red shorts, her feet were bare and her black curly hair was tied up in a half ponytail; it was Anne's costume when she and Phillip had their duet.
"I'm nervous," Sebastian told her "We are going to swing on a rope like in the movie," he added with a nervous laugh. "I have no idea how Zac Efron and Zendaya kept from falling"
"Remember you'll be strapped into a harness and we'll do it together" Elise told him. "trust me, it's weird for me to do a love scene with you but…picture Marley and you´ll be more confident"
"Thanks for the advice," Sebastian told her. "And you also have talent, without a doubt you will captivate the public as Anne"
"Thank you," Elise told him with a friendly smile. "You're not a bad Phillip Carlyle either dude"
"Thanks" Sebastian smiled at her. "Come on, we´re going to kill this," Elise nods as she and Sebastian shake hands.
The audience applauded as the curtains parted and Sebastian and Elise walked out onto the stage.

The lights out as the final curtain closes, the audience give them a standing ovation and clap happily. The Greatest Showman musical turned out better than expected, and even Fletcher Mantini was on his feet clapping his hands with glee, like a child watching a magical circus show.
An hour later, everyone was backstage taking off their costumes and makeup, although they were very happy about the performance, they were also very tired.
"Guys that was awesome!" Andy said, running happily to hug the cast. "I loved it"
"It was teamwork, don't you think?" Artie said and they all laughed.
"I'm just telling you that Fletcher Mantini stood up," Shannon said.
"really?" Josh asked, surprised.
"Everyone did amazing," said Will with tears of happiness. "I'm sorry I put pressure on you during rehearsals but...the result was worth it. It was incredible"
"Don't worry, Mr. Schue, it wasn't that serious" Danielle said, letting her hair down and everyone laughed.
"Yeah, water under the bridge," Olivia agrees with a smile.
"Will Schuester?" Fletcher said entering the dressing room, luckily the cast was wearing their normal clothes. "I am Fletcher Mantini; sorry for the intrusion" he looked at everyone, the kids were already wearing their normal clothes. "I would like to talk to you for a moment, in fact... with everyone if it's okay"
"Of course, it's no problem" Will shakes hands with the critic smiling. "Mr Mantini, it´s an honor to meet you in person"
"The pleasure is mine," Fletcher smiles. "I know that many of you fear me because I am harsh with my criticism, but I want you to know that I am looking for excellence, and I just found that there is. what all of you did today with The Greatest Showman was wonderful, I had never felt as happy as when my father took me to see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway; the play was simply magical"
"Thank you so much" Rachel says, getting emotional as Finn wraps his arms around her waist.
"Hugh Jackman is actually a great friend of mine," Fletcher said. "and he told me that he will never forgive me for having seen the musical without him, he wanted to be present but he traveled to Australia to see his family"
"Oh my god" Kurt exclaimed. "Do you know Hugh?"
He's my friend from high school" Fletcher said and everyone got excited. "He told me that he wants to be present at the next show, as the guest of honor"
"Say yes Mr Schue" Marley says smiling as everyone nods encouragingly to their teacher.
"It's Hugh Jackman," Josh adds. "You can't turn down that offer"
"What do you say Mr Schue?" Finn . "we can´t keep the legend waiting"
"I think he's freaking out" Santana says as Will was speechless. "Mr Schue?"
"It would be an honor to have Hugh Jackman in the audience at the next performance" said Will, smiling. "I´m sorry, I still can't believe it"
"Yes!" the members of New Directions shouted with joy and jumped.
"Nice job," Fletcher said. "and congratulations once again"
"Thank you" they all said and Fletcher left backstage.
"I can't believe it, Hugh Jackman is coming to the next show" said Marissa excitedly. "somebody pinch me"
"Dreams do come true," Will said. "And it was all thanks to you guys; I love you all"
"Group hug!" Puck said and everyone joined in a big hug, celebrating the success of the play and that the best was yet to come.
