Attacked-Ch 38

Over the next several weeks Penelope really started to enjoy her life, her family and especially her relationship with Derek, they were going out several nights a week and going to movies, on picnics, they enjoyed spending their free time together. Penelope had moved her things out of her apartment, after being assaulted there she couldn't stand to live there anymore, she was still staying with Fran and Dave even though she spent most of her time with Derek or at his place.

She had gone back to work and was once again a vital member of the BAU team, the team had just returned from a case that had them out of town for almost 2 weeks and Penelope had agreed to stay at Dereks and keep an eye on Clooney while he was gone, she loved staying at his place because she felt so so close to him when she did.

Derek smiled as he stood in her office door watching her work, she was currently looking up several things for B team and was waiting on her babies as she called them to alert her to anything. Derek walked over and said, "hello beautiful, almost done for the night"?, she said, "I will be soon, I am waiting on some results for B team and then I am fr" and before she could finish her sentence her babies had found the information she needed.

She called the leader of B team and let him know that she had found the information they needed, she then sent them the information and then signed off from her babies so that she could go home for the evening. She stood up and smiled as Derek wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips gently, when they pulled apart he said, "I have something for you baby girl" as he put a small wrapped box in her hand.

Penelope said, "ohhhh a surprise I love surprises" as she started unwrapping the small box, after putting the trash into the garbage can she opened the box and gasped as she saw what was inside. As she looked down she saw a key to Derek's house laying there in front of her, she picked it up and said, "w w w what's this"?, he laughed and said, "it's a key to our house and I think it's about time that you have one".

She said, "b b b but I" and he said, "sweetness I love you and I know that you love me sooooooooo why don't you move into my house with me and Clooney, come on you know that you wannaaaaaaaaa". Penelope grinned and said, "are you sure that you want me to move in with you, I mean we've only been dating a few months and" he quickly silenced her by kissing her lips passionately.

As he slid his tongue inside her mouth she moaned and Derek smiled against her lips as he pulled away, he then rested his forehead against hers and said, "sooooooooo beautiful what do you say"?, she smiled at him and said, "yes, yes of course I'll move in with you and my boy" as she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tight.

Derek took a deep breath and said, "I have another surprise for you", she said, "I don't know if my heart can take another surprise tonight handsome" and he said, "welllll I think you can take it beautiful, I really do" as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black box.

She watched as he then dropped to one knee in front of her and open the small box, she once again gasped as he opened it and grinned at her, in the box was a 5 carat diamond ring with diamonds going down both sides of the ring to surround the big diamond int he center.

Derek said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, you are the love of my life, please continue to be my guiding light, the other part of my heart, my best friend and hopefully my wife", she looked down at the ring and then back up at him as he said, "baby girl will you do me the honor of marrying me, will you be my wife"?, tears streamed down her face and she nodded her head and said, "yes, yes, yessssssss hotstuff I'll marry you".

Derek pulled the ring from the box and slid it onto her finger, he then leaned in and kissed her lips gently and when he pulled away he said, "I love you baby girl", she said, "and I love you angel fish" and seconds later his lips found hers again. They pulled apart to the sounds of hands clapping, whistles and shouts of congratulations, Penelope looked up as Derek said, "SHE SAID YESSSSSSS".

Everybody laughed as they watched him then pick her up and start twirling her around, it was so good and the team was all so glad that Derek and Penelope were finally getting their happily ever after.
