Attacked-Ch 41
Harold looked at his client and said, "alright Bryan I want you to tell me in your own words what happened"?, Bryan opened his mouth and started spouting lie after lie about how him and Penelope had talked and actually went out a few times Hillary stood up and said, "objection" and Karen said, "on what grounds"? and Hillary said, "the victim has already stated that she never met the defendant before he raped her and now we have to sit here and listen to these lies".
Karen said, "objection sustained", she then looked at Harold and said, "please stop trying to paint your client as an angel we know he's here because he raped and attacked 11 women so let's move it along counselor". Harold said, "but your honor my client is telling his side of wht happened" and Karen said, "I have made my ruling" and Harold said, "alright" as he looked at Bryan and said, "can you please tell me your side of what happened the day you were arrested"?, he said, "yes" and then started telling some of what happened".
Dave looked at Fran and said, "I can't stand this any longer" and got up and walked over to Hillary and got her attention and then started whispering something into her ear, she looked at him and smiled and whispered something back and he nodded his head yes and handed her his phone".
Karen looked up as Hillary stood up and said, "your honor we have proof that what the defendant is saying is lies" and Karen said, "proof, what proof" and she said, "agent Rossi just told me that he had proof on his cell phone from his security cameras and that his proof will show without a shadow of a doubt that the defendant is lying".
The judge looked at Hillary and said, "alright I want the defendant and all counsel in my chambers right now while we look at this evidence", Karen stood up and then said, "agent Rossi I would like for you to come as well please". Dave nodded his head and said, "yes your honor" and folllowed the others across the room and into the judges chambers.
Derek smiled and said, "well when they see and hear everything that happened their will be no doubts at all that he is lying and then he can go back to prison where he belongs" and Penelope sighed happily and said, "from your lips handsome, from your lips" as everybody then sat there waiting for the others to return.
When the bailiff got the notification that it was time for court to restart he said, "all rise" and everybody stood up and watched as everybody that had gone into the judges chambers walked back out and went to their seats. Karen blew out a deep breath and then looked down at Bryan and said, "I am sick, sick, sick, sick of what you tried to do here today Mr. Jennings, you tried to lie to this court and now on top of all of your charges i have to add perjury to the mix".
She then said, "I've heard enough and I'm now ready to give my decision", she looked at Bryan and said, "will the defendant please rise", Bryan and his attorney stood up and looked at Karen as she said, "on the 11 charges of rape I find you guilty and you will serve 15 years for each rape for a total of 165 years and then for the stabbing of Penelope Garcia you will get another 10 years which brings it up to 175 years and then for lying to this court I will add on another 25 years for a total of 200 years so guess what Mr. Jennings you will never see the free world again".
Bryan said, "that's not fair, she belongs with me not that he whore", Karen said, "grow up buttercup she doesn't want you, she's in love with somebody else and according to what agent Rossi told us in chambers she's getting married tomorrow". Bryan closed his eyes as Karen continued by saying, "what you did to those poor women is appalling, it's appalling, sickening and you will now pay for your crimes".
She then looked at Penelope and said, "I'm so sorry for everything you went through but I promise you that he will never hurt another woman again and that you are now free to move on with your life". She smiled at Penelope and said, "and congratulations on your wedding tomorrow, I wish you and your hubby-to-be only the best" and Penelope and Derek smiled at her and said, "thank you" in unison".
Karen then looked at the guards and said, "get this man out of my sight, court is adjourned" and then everybody watched as the judge got up and walked out of the room and as they walked out of the room Bryan kept screaming, "you don't belong with him, I love you Penelope, me, me, meeeeeeeeeee" she shook her head and then walked out into the hall with her family.
As they were standing there Fran looked at Penelope and said, "will you do this old woman a favor"?, Penelope said, "you're not old but yes I will do you a favor, what can I do for you"?. Fran said, "go to the ER and get checked out". Penelope said, "but I'm fine,, you can see that I'm fine now", Fran said, "yes, now you're fine but something caused you to pass out and me being a nurse knows that it's not gonna hurt for you to go get checked out".
Penelope opened her mouth to argue and then Dave said, "tomorrow is suppose to be your wedding day kitten, surely you don't want everybody worrying about you when you should all be happy and celebrating". She looked at him and said, "sooooooo not fair", she blew out a deep breath and said, "alright, alright I'll go, I'll go" and Derek intertwined their fingers and said, "let's go sweetness" and she sighed and shook her head as they headed toward the exit.
Fran smiled and Dave said, "what do you know that we don't"?, Fran said, "ohhhhh something tells me that I'm going to be a grandma in a few months" and JJ and Emily nodded their heads in agreement . Reid said, "I was thinking the same thing" and Hotch said, "well we should all head out, we're suppose to keep Derek and Penelope separated tonight remember so we need to get everything ready".
Everybody nodded their heads in agreement as the men went in one car and the women in another so that they could get everything set up for the night.
