Attacked-Ch 43

When the happy couple pulled up in front of Fran and Dave's house sure enough they saw 4 cars sitting there, one belonging to his mom and Dave, one to the Reid's, one to the Hotcnher's and one to his sisters. As they made their way to the front door Derek smiled lovingly at her and gently squeezed her hand to let her know that he loved her and would always be by her side.

Derek twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open and then motioned for her to go on inside, she winked at him as she walked by and after he walked in behind her he shut the door and then turned around and followed behind her. When they both stepped into the living room they were met with everybody saying. "CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSSSS"

Derek and Penelope looked at each other and then the others before their attention was pulled to the banner that was hanging on the wall that said, "CONGRATULATIONS MOMMY AND DADDY". Penelope said, "how, wait, huh, how did you know"?, Fran hugged them both and said, "helloooo nurse and mom of three, I know the signs sweetie and you have been nauseated for the past few days, tired and the smell of a lot of stuff that you love makes you ill now".

JJ and Emily hugged her next and JJ said, "yeah me and Em have been thinking it too for the past few days", Emily grinned and said, "congratulations momma, you are going to be an amazing mommy". As everybody else gathered around to congratulate the soon-to-be parents all Derek and Penelope could do was smile.

A few minutes later Fran said, "alright it's time for you two to say your goodnights and then we need the men to head on out", Jack stood in front of Fran and said, "nana Fran can me and Henry stay here with you guys"?, she kissed the little boy on the forehead and said, "of course you can sweetie" and the two little boys high fived each other as they ran over to play with the dogs.

Derek intertwined fingers with his baby girl as they made their way out of the room and out onto the patio, he pulled her into his arms and claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss. One kiss turned to two and two to four as the couple was practically standing there making out on the patio.

They pulled apart gasping for air and Derek rested his forehead against hers and said, "I wish we didn't have to be apart tonight", she blew out a deep breath and said, "me to handsome, me to buttttttttt tomorrow is our wedding day and then we don't have to be apart anymore" and he kissed her lips again and said, "so true sweetness, so true".

Derek and Penelope exchanged a few more kisses before they reluctantly turned around and headed back inside the house to rejoin the others, when Fran saw them coming back in she said, "come on you two it won't be that bad". Derek said, "we know ma it's just that we don't want to be apart that's all" and she said, "well what's a few hours when the two of you are going to be spending the rest of your lives together".

Penelope looked at Derek and said, "good night my love, sleep tight", he pulled her into his arms again and kissed her lips gently and said "good night baby girl, I love you and I'll see you tomorrow". She giggled and said, "I'll be the one in the white dress", he laughed and said, "and I'll be the one in the tux standing at the top of the aisle waiting for you" and then they both laughed.

Hotch and Dave took Derek by the arms and said, "come on son, it's time to go", Penelope smiled and said, "good night angel fish, love you", Derek turned around and said, "good night goddess, love you toooooooo" as the men all headed out of the house and down the steps so that they could head to their cars.

Penelope stood watching as the cars pulled away from the house, she sighed wishing that Derek would be there to hold her tight tonight but knew that even though they were apart tonight they would definitely make it up tomorrow night and every night there after and that caused her to smile.

When she turned around JJ and Emily in unison said, "alright let's get this party startedddddddd" as they pulled Penelope into the dining room and a huge table filled with food. This was her last night as a single woman and since they had gone to so much trouble for her she was going to party and enjoy herself

Fran stood back and watched her future daughter-in-law and smiled, she couldn't wait for first Penelope to officially join the family and then second for the birth of her first grandchild. She sighed happily and then made her way over to join the others as they started celebrating Penelopes last night as a single woman.
