Attacked-Ch 44

The next morning Penelope woke up with a smile on her face as her hands slid down to her stomach, she still couldn't believe it she was going to have a baby, Derek's baby and she rubbed her stomach and said, 'hello in there little one this is your momma and I love you sooooooo sooooo much and I can't wait to meet you.

A sudden wave of nausea hit her and she quickly threw back the covers and ran toward her in room bathroom, she dropped to her knees at the toilet and hung her head down as she emptied the contents of her stomach. Fran, JJ and Emily were walking down the hall toward her bedroom when they heard her running across the floor, they looked at each other and said, "morning sickness" in unison.

Fran turned around and went back to the kitchen to make her some tea and toast to help coat her stomach while JJ and Emily continued on their way toward Penelope's room. Once they stepped into her room they could hear her in the bathroom so they made their way over there to her.

JJ got down on the floor beside her and held her hair back and gently rubbed her hand up and down her friends back while Emily wet a wash cloth and then handed it to JJ. When Penelope was finished she sat back on her legs and wiped her face off with the cloth JJ had handed her and said, "thanks girlies".

Emily said, "morning sickness really sucks doesn't it and let me tell ya I don't miss it", JJ said, "yeah me either Em, me either" and Penelope looked up at her friends and said, "how much longer will I have this morning sickness"?, JJ said, "usually till around the 12th week or so Garcie but your OB can give you medication to help with that" and Penelope smiled and said, "good, now I need to get an OB and get me some of those drugs" and then the three women laughed.

At casa Hotchner Derek was walking through the house when Dave said, "welllllll how does it feel to know that in a few short hours you will be married to kitten"?, Derek smiled and said, "I can hardly wait Dave". Reid walked into the room and handed him a cup of coffee and a donut and Derek smiled and said, "thanks pretty boy' as he sat down at the table with the others.

Hotch said, ,"soooo on a scale of 1 to 10 how nervous are you"?, Derek said, "hmmmmmm, let me seee, I'd say about 400 no 500 would about cover it I guess" and the men all laughed. Derek said, "what time to we need to be back at the mansion"?, Dave said, "sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and your donut and then we will all head over there and start getting ready".

Derek nodded his head yes and continued with his coffee and donut and the entire time he couldn't help but wonder what his baby girl was doing and as he took a sip of his coffee he smiled and thought, "not long now sweetness, not long now". A few minutes later the men all got up from the table and grabbed their things and made their way out of the house and toward the waiting cars so that they could get to the mansion and start getting ready.

At the mansion Fran walked into the room with a cup of tea and some try toast and said, "here honey this will help", Penelope took them and took a sip of the tea and a bite or two of the toast and then smiled and said, "thanks this is hitting the spot". Fran said, "I remember morning sickness and let me tell you it wasn't a friend of mine", JJ and Emily said, "or mine" in unison causing Penelope to laugh.

A few minutes later after the tea and toast were gone Fran smiled at Penelope and said, "it's time for us to get you dressed and ready for your wedding", Penelope stood up and said, "I'm in your hands ladies". Fran said, "Emily why don't you go ahead and get yourself dressed and JJ and I will help Penelope get into her dress", Emily said, "sounds like a plan" as she walked toward the door she then stopped and turned around and said, "what about Jack and Henry"?, Fran said, "Sarah and Desi are downstairs feeding them breakfast and then they are going to help them get dressed".

Emily sighed and said, "thanks Fran", Fran winked at the younger woman and said, "no problem honey", Emily then turned back around and headed back to her room to start getting ready. Penelope sighed happily as she watched JJ take her dress out of the closet and hang it up, she smiled and said, "this is so beautiful" and Fran and JJ nodded their heads yes and Fran said, "well then let's get you into this beautiful dress then" and Penelope giggled and said, "yes let's" as they then started working on getting the bride in her dress.
