Attacked-Ch 45
When Derek and the other men arrived at the Rossi mansion they headed straight to the pool house so that they could get ready where their was no danger of the groom seeing the bride before the wedding. As he stood looking out the window he smiled as he saw her bedroom window, he knew that's where they were getting her ready for today and he couldn't wait to see her, he knew that she would be beautiful and the more he thought about it the faster his heart was racing.
He jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder, he glanced up and said, "oh hey Dave", Dave said, "are you alright son"?, Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "I'm good, a little nervous but I'm good otherwise". Dave said, "nerves are normal, just remember that everybody has them on their wedding day" and Hotch and Reid both nodded their heads and laughed as they looked at the very nervous groom-to-be.
Meanwhile inside the mansion Sarah, Desi and the boys were dressed and ready so JJ and Emily sent the boys to the pool house to check on Derek and JJ said, "Henry, I want you and Jack to make sure that your uncle Derek has on all of his clothes before he goes outside okay"?, the boys laughed and said, "okayyyyyyy" as they ran out of the room.
Penelope said, "yes we wouldn't want another groom to start out for the wedding in only their underwear" and the women all laughed and JJ said, "that was funny, i didn't think I was ever gonna stop laughing". Emily said, "yeah me either, it's just a good thing that Dave and Hotch were there or poor Reid would have done just that" and Fran said, "nerves are normal on your wedding day though, I was nervous on both of my wedding days".
Penelope said, "you were"?, Fran said, "of course honey, it's a big step in a womans life when she decides to marry the man she loves and no matter how long you've known that man you're going to be nervous". Penelope blew out a deep breath and said, "I can't tell if the butterflies in my stomach is nerves or the baby" and Fran walked over and put her hand on Penelopes stomach and said, "hello in there little one, I'm your grandma Fran and I'm going to spoil you rotten" and everybody laughed as they looked at each other.
Derek looked up when Jack and Henry ran into the room, he said, "what's up little dudes"?, Henry said, "uncle Derek we were told to come down here and make sure that you have all of your clothes on before you go outside for the wedding". Reid said, "heyyyyy, I was nervous okay and it's not like anybody but Dave, Hotch and Derek saw me anyway" and Derek grinned at Reid and said, "don't sweat the small things pretty boy" and Reid grinned and said "sooooooo true Morgan, sooooo true"
Dave glanced at his watch and said, "well if you gentlemen will excuse me I do believe it's time for me to go and get the bride" and as Derek watched Dave walk away he said, "can you please tell her that I love her"?, Dave winked at Derek and said, "will do son, will do" and then Derek stood there grinning as he watched Dave disappear into the house.
Meanwhile upstairs Emily said, "there, now you're finished" and Penelope stood up and turned around and looked at herself in the mirror and said, "oh my lanta I look like a princess" and Fran said, "you're gorgeous honey", Sarah and Desi said, "wowwwwww" in unison as they stood looking at her and JJ said, "you look beautiful Garcie" and Emily said, "looking awesome there PG, Morgan isn't going to be able to keep his eyes or anything else off of you today"
Before Penelope could say anything they all turned as they heard a knock at the door, Fran walked over and opened the door and said, "come in Dave, come in" and she stepped back so he could step inside. He looked at Penelope and said, "ohhhhh kitten you look so beautiful", she smiled at him and said, "thank you papa bear" and as he hugged her he said, "ohhh Derek wanted me to tell you that he loves you".
Penelope said, "and I love him too and in a few minutes I'm going to be Mrs. Derek Morgan", Desi said, "are you ready for that"?, Penelope nodded her head and said, "I've been ready for this since the day I met him". Fran said "and trust me when I say he feels the same way, you were all he could talk about when he would come to Chicago to visit us" and Sarah and Desi grinned and nodded their heads in agreement with their mother.
Dave said, "well kitten it's time, are you ready to get this show on the road"?, she blew out a deep breath and ran her hand over her stomach and said, "let's get me married" and everybody smiled as they made their way out into the hall. Dave held out his arm and said, "shall we kitten", she nodded her head and said, "yes let's" as they started making their way down the stairs to rejoin the others.
