Derek stood at the top of the aisle and he was turned and facing the back as the music started, he along with the others stood and watched as first Emily and then JJ made their way up the aisle in their peach colored bridesmaids dresses. They both looked so beautiful but the one he was waiting on was his girl, his baby girl, the woman that would today become his wife
After JJ and Emily got into their places the music changed to the Wedding March and everybody smiled as they saw Dave and Penelope walk into their view, she looked so amazing and the smile on her face made her practically glow with happiness. She hugged Dave's arm as they started making their way up the aisle toward Derek, each step made her heart beat faster and faster, she couldn't wait to be beside him, be able to touch him because today she was his and he, he was hers.
When they finally made it up to the others Dave took her hand from his arm and put it in Derek's, he then kissed her gently on the cheek and said, "you look so beautiful kitten", he then walked over and stood beside Fran and the others. Derek, Penelope and the bridal party then turned to face the minister, he smiled as he looked out at not only the happy and very nervous couple standing in front of him but the family and friends that were there
He then said, "marriage is what brings us together today, the marriage of this man Derek Michael Morgan to this woman Penelope Grace Garcia, their love stands as a guide to others how not to give up, to fight, to strive for what you want, what you deserve" He then looked out over the small crowd and said, "who gives this woman to this man in marriage today"? Dave stood up and said, "her family and I do" before then sitting back down beside his wife
The minister then looked at JJ and Reid and asked for the rings, they stepped forward and placed them on the bible and after a short prayer he looked at the smiling couple and opened his mouth as he readied to speak. He said, "Derek, take this ring and put in onto Penelope's finger and then recite your vows to her", he nervously took the ring into his hand and slid it onto her finger and then took a deep breath as he readied to continue
He looked at her and said, "Penelope, baby girl, you are the love of my life, the other part of my heart, you are my best friend, my lover, the mother of our soon to be born child and today you become my wife". He gently squeezed her hand as he said, "I promise to you here in front of our family and friends that I will love, honor and cherish you for as long as we both live, I love you baby girl and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you".
The minister then looked at Penelope and said, "Penelope take this ring and put it onto Derek's finger and then recite your vows to him", she took the ring into her hand and smiled as she slid it onto his finger. She then looked him in the eyes and said, "Derek, hotstuff, you are an amazing man, the best man that I have ever known, you are the sole owner of my heart and I will love you forever".
She then took a deep breath as she said, "I promise to you here in front of our family that I will honor and cherish you and our family for as long as we both live, you are the love of my life and I can't wait t see what our future holds". The minister then said, "if their is anyone here that can show just cause why these two cant be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace".
After a few seconds he then said, "by the powers vested in me by this state I now pronounce you husband and wife", he looked at Derek and said, "Derek you can kiss your bride". Derek smiled as he cupped her face in his hands, he then leaned forward and claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss.
When they pulled apart the minister said "ladies and gentlemen I give to you for the first time ever Mr. ad Mrs. Derek Michael Morgan" and as the couple kissed again the air was filled with the sounds of hands clapping, whistling and the shouts of congratulations for the happy couple.
