Sesshomaru wasn't a sociable person. He usually stayed out of the way and did his work. People thought that he is strange, but that is an entirely different story. He was quiet and has a morose attitude towards life. He didn't want to be near anyone and, in truth, he was afraid to let someone in. Females were always trying to get into his personal life. After all, he was an attractive person.
His hair came down to a bit past his shoulders. It used to be around his mid-thighs, but he came in one day with it extremely short. It was a silverfish whitish color and was wavy to some extent. His cold, hard golden eyes were bright and always seemed to be glaring at you. Sometimes his stare made you rather uncomfortable.
'Uh oh. He caught me staring at him yet again. There's that stare that sends shivers down my spine. I don't know if he even knows who I am, but I will talk to him sooner or later.' Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud squeal.
""RIN!" My friend Kagura burst out with excitement. "I'm going out with Miroku!"
'Hmmmm…..what an odd pairing. I honestly don't think that they're going to last though. You can consider Miroku a little "too friendly" at some points. I wonder why she wants to go out with him in the first place. She never noticed him before this week. As she continued to prattle on about him, I went back into my dreamy stage while staring at HIM again. He seemed so perfect, but so flawed at the same time. He was the type that you thought you knew, but you didn't.'
"RIN!" Kagura snapped me into focus. "Why are you crying? Aren't you happy for me? What's wrong?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Just thinking, that's all." I smiled at her and wiped away my tears. "I have to go to World Geography. See you later Kagura."
My thoughts continued as I walked into class. 'HE was in this class. Where as I had a C, he probably had an A. I wonder if he would ever tutor me. Probably not (considering he's anti-social). Sometimes I wonder if he's a god or something. He seems flawless in my eyes, but has flaws in other people's eyes.'
"Hey Rin." I looked up to see an overly cheerful girl named Kagome. "I was wondering if I could get a couple of questions from the homework. I forgot to finish it" She smiled weekly at me.
"You know you'd be able to finish it if you weren't dating Inuyasha right?" I raised my eyebrow at her. "You'd have a lot more free time on your hands."
"Is that a no?" She pouted slightly.
A new voice entered the conversation. "I'll give them to you Kagome." He smiled sweetly at her.
"Thanks a bunch Hojo!" She smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek. Right in front of me. And Inuyasha thinks that she only kisses him.
I felt eyes on me and I looked up to see Sesshomaru staring at me. As soon as he saw that I was looking, he looked away. How strange. Never noticed that before. I highly doubt he likes me, so I must have something on my face or I just look stupid.
My mind wanders to my best friend in the world. Souten. She is the toughest girl I have ever met. She's beautiful compared to me. Her long black hair comes down to her hips in layers. She doesn't wear any make up and just has that natural beauty everyone seems to want. I was so sick of being average. That's what I categorized myself as. Typical. Plain. Whatever you wanted to call it. I'd never measure up to her.
But even though she was beautiful, she had the worst attitude towards people. She treated them like, in all honesty, a bitch would treat people. Her eyes seemed to say that she wanted to treat people with respect though and just had trouble controlling her temper
