A/N: Ten! Ten! Ten! Hello there! This is tendaysromeo and welcome to the sixth chapter of DreamTheater Intermix: The World Within! Nothing much to say, so let's start this chapter!

10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Countdown is over, so let's get this chapter on the go!

"Great job, Ed!" Tenma Daytona Romeoford exclaimed in annoyance, "Thanks to you, we're twenty minutes late for the party!" he complained.

"But the time in my game says that we still had two hours left for the party." Edwin "Ed" Horace Hall pointed out.

"Game time doesn't translate to real time, Ed!" Tenma retorted in disbelief before letting out a sigh, "Let's... let's just meet up with everyone..." he uttered in exasperation.

Currently, Tenma and Ed are climbing a flight of stairs that leads towards the rooftop for a party and apparently, the two are twenty minutes late because Ed fell asleep while reading his comics and Tenma took some time in waking him up.

"How much of a heavy sleeper are you, Ed?" Tenma questioned.

"Heavy as a 1000 millimeter ton." Ed chirped.

"I don't understand your analogy but I'll go with it." Tenma conceded, "I really hope that we get along with everyone." he yearned in concern.

"Is it okay for a normie such as yourself to attend a party?" Ed asked.

"Well, I was invited, so I think it's fine." Tenma answered.

Tenma and Ed then finally arrives at the rooftop where they see a lot of people socializing with each other while tons of food & drinks presented all across the place, music is being played a girl named Kyouko Yamate via turntables with a few partygoers dancing along in the music.

Amongst the partygoers are Pinkie Pie, Fred Flintstone, Honoka Kousaka, Kotori Minami, Umi Sonoda, Hidenori Tabata, Irino Tadakuni, Yoshitake Tanaka, Hatano Mitsuo, Kuroshima Motoharu, Chapatsu Haisha, Megane Kurokami, Ichika Orimura, Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott, Zed Necrodopolis, Addison Wells, Johnny Bravo, Pops Drake, Naruto Uzumaki, Ichigo Kurosaki, Ryuuko Matoi and Shizuka Kasagi.

"Woah! So many people!" Tenma exclaimed in awe.

"Groovy~" Ed mused.

"Hey, Ten, Ed!" a voice called out as the aforementioned boys turns to see Eddward "Edd & Double D" Marion Vicente, Kevin Dorscherr and Nazz Van Bartonschmeer walking towards them, "Glad that the you two finally arrived." Double D said with a smile.

"Your twenty minutes late though." Nazz pointed out with a teasing grin.

Tenma facefaulted, "You can blame Ed for that." he grumbled.

"This is a pretty cool party." Kevin commented, "It's simple but the atmosphere here is really great that you can't help but feel at home." he described.

Double D nodded, "Indeed." he said in agreement, "The party may not be a 'welcome party' but it is indeed welcoming." he commented with a smile.

Pinkie then skips towards them alongside two girls named Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, "Hiya guys!" the pinkhead greeted.

"Miss Pinkie?! What are you doing here?" Tenma asked in surprise.

Pinkie giggled in response, "I was invited to join this party, silly." she answered with a smile before gesturing a hand towards her companions, "Anyhoo~ These are my friends, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle." she introduced.

"Hello there! It's really nice to meet you." Twilight greeted with a smile.

"Hope you guys are having a good time." Sunset encouraged.

"Oh yeah! We're having a good time." Kevin replied before taking a sip of his drink from a red-colored cup, "Ah~ That hits the spot." he commented.

"How are you guys liking this place so far?" Sunset asked.

"Well eccentricities aside and the fact that we're taking classes in a large stadium..." Double D mentioned, "... I must say that City Saints Academy is a very marvelous place." he admitted.

Twilight giggled, "Well, I had to admit to myself that this city is filled with things and people that boggles the mind." she admitted before tipping her glasses, "And it also provided me with some interesting facts that is worth researching." she confessed with a grin.

"You're not planning on experimenting someone here?" Tenma questioned off-screen.

Twilight facefaulted, "What kind of science-loving freak you think I am?" she questioned in disbelief.

"So, did you guys managed settle in this place?" Sunset asked.

Double D nodded, "Indeed we have." he answered, "We even got rooms of our own." he pointed out, "Which is really convenient." he commented.

Tenma gritted his teeth, "It's cool and all but I had to act as a nanny for Ed because he has yet to learn responsibility." he grumbled.

Cue on Ed sucking his thumb like a baby.

Sunset chuckled nervously, "Give him some time." she advised, "People don't mature that easily after all." she reasoned.

"Even at the age of 18?" Kevin questioned off-screen.

Tenma then looks around for the others and spotted some of them having a conversation with other people.

Rolf Von Olsson is seen having a conversation with Kousaku Hata, Yuugo Hachiken and an old woman named Granny Smith about agriculture while Lee Kanker, Marie Kanker and May Kanker are having a conversation with Yuka Hanazawa, Ryouko Asuka and Caulifla about the number of punks they beaten up.

At another side of the rooftop, Jimmy Tweetums and Sarah Hall are having a lively conversation with Abby Hatcher, Dora Marquez and Diego Marquez while Jonny 2x4 and Plank sat alone in one corner with no one to talk to but themselves.

Tenma raised an eyebrow when he noticed someone from their group is missing, "Hey, where is Eddy?" he asked.

"Eddy is not here yet." Double D replied, "We assumed that he'll arrive with you two." he admitted.

"And I assumed that he'd be here first." Tenma replied.

"Huh? Guess Eddy is late." Nazz uttered.

"Wonder what's taking him so long?" Kevin thought out loud.

"He probably got lost." Sunset assumed, "While the hallways in this place isn't a maze or anything but newcomers often get lost if they wandered around aimlessly." she stated.

"Well, Eddy is pretty reckless with his actions, so it's undeniable that he got lost." Double D commented.

Meanwhile outside the Corona House and more specifically at the back of the building, Koyomi Hare Nanaka and a girl named Kaname Chidori are seen making their way towards the dumpster with small bags of trash in hands.

"There is a boy!" Koyomi shrieked, "There is a boy living in a room next to mine!" she exclaimed, "I thought Satoko-chan is living in that room!" she recalled.

"Satoko-chan was moved to another room in the first floor after that prank she did some time ago." Kaname reminded, "And I understand your fear of men Koyomi but you should give that boy a chance before you judge him." she stated.

"I can't... I can't..." Koyomi uttered while shivering in fright.

Kaname sighed, "What am I going to do with you?" she uttered.

Kaname and Koyomi then reaches a large green-colored dumpster with the former opening the lid, the two were about to dump their respective trash bags but they found something that made Kaname gasp in shock and Koyomi screaming in horror.

Later that night and while the party is still going on, we see Kaname and Shizuka inside the infirmary room where Eddy Skipper McGee is seen resting on one bed with a silly dazed expression.

"You said that you found him like this?" Shizuka asked.

Kaname nodded, "Yes." she confirmed, "Koyomi and I were just about to dump our trash when we found this guy inside the dumpster alongside some luggage that I assumed belongs to him." she explained.

Shizuke then turns towards the luggage set aside in one corner, "That's his luggage is alright." she confirmed.

The doors of the infirmary opened as Kaname and Shizuka turns around to see Tenma, Ed, Double D and Rolf entering the room.

"We got your call Miss Shizuka." Double D said, "What happened to Eddy?" he asked in concern.

Shizuka shook her head, "We don't know." she answered, "Kaname and Koyomi already found him like this in the dumpster." she stated.

Ed ran towards the bed and grabbed Eddy by his shoulders before pulling him up, "Eddy! Eddy!" the lump called out while shaking the short boy, "Speak to me, Eddy!" he pleaded before slapping the short boy back and forth but it only knocks him out further.

Tenma grabs Ed by the head and then pulling him back, "Eddy won't gain any conscious if you keep hitting him like that!" the normie chastised.

"Rolf is furious!" Rolf exclaimed, "What hooligan would do such barbaric manners towards the greedy Ed-Boy?" he demanded.

Tenma facefaulted, "I can't believe that not even a day and someone already laid their hands on Eddy." he muttered in disbelief.

"Did Eddy got himself in an argument with anyone here?" Kaname asked.

Double D shook his head, "Fortunately no." he answered, "Though... Eddy got slapped by Miss Umi Sonoda for making her uncomfortable but he brought that to himself, so it's hardly considered a conflict." he stated.

"I see." Kaname uttered.

"Is Eddy gonna be okay?" Ed asked.

"Your friend is going to be fine." a voice answered.

Everyone then turns around to see blue-colored curtain getting pulled aside by a young woman named Tae Anegasaki while making her presence known to everyone before walking towards them.

"Despite his dazed state, your friend is okay." Tae assured, "He just needs a whole night of sleep and a soft pillow to make his head feel comfortable." she stated, "Though I advise that you don't question him too much once he is awake because it might cause him some stress and it might aggravate his already aching head." she advised.

Double D nodded, "We'll do, ma'am." he complied, "Thank you very much for helping our friend." he said in gratitude.

Tae chuckled in response, "It's no pleasure." she reassured, "I suggest taking your friend to his room, so he can get a long rest without getting disturbed and I'll have my assistant to check on him from time to time." she instructed, "I'll provide a stretcher if you need one." she added.

Tenma nodded, "Then we'll do just that." he complied, "Ed, Rolf, get the stretcher and carry Eddy." he commanded, "Meanwhile, Double D and I will carry Eddy's luggage." he furthered.

"I'll lead you boys to Eddy's room." Shizuka offered.

After laying Eddy down on the stretcher and getting all of his stuffs, the boys and Shizuka left the infirmary, leaving Kaname and Tae behind.

Kaname then spoke, "How is Koyomi doing?" she asked.

Tae then pulled another curtain aside to reveal an unconscious Koyomi laying down on another bed with swirls in her eyes, "Fainting over an unconscious boy?" the nurse uttered, "Her androphobia shows no bounds." she commented while placing a hand on her left cheek.

Kaname sighed, "What am I going to do with this girl?" she grumbled in disbelief.

Walking down the hallways is fairly easy since most occupants are in the rooftop partying, so they have no problems dealing with any hurdles on their path. The only problem is keeping themselves from bursting into laughter at Eddy's rather silly-looking unconscious state.

"I want to take this seriously but Eddy's face is preventing me from doing that." Tenma admitted.

"Eddy always sports this kind of expressions whenever he got hurt." Double D stated.

"I still feel bad for your friend." Shizuka admitted, "You know..." she uttered, "... this is the fourth time in a row that someone is found unconscious inside a dumpster." she shared.

"What do you mean by that?" Tenma asked.

"You see, for the past few weeks..." Shizuka begun, "... there had been reports of three unconscious teenage boys discovered inside dumpsters in different parts of this city." she explained, "Four since Eddy is the latest victim." she clarified, "It's still unknown how these boys found themselves in such predicament and no one knows who's behind or if the culprit is acting alone or had accomplices." she furthered.

"That's concerning." Double D commented.

"If that's the case, then what are the police doing?" Tenma asked.

The police are doing their best to solve this case." Shizuka answered, "That is if the amateur sleuths haven't cracked this case first." she stated.

"And we'll be the ones to do that!" a voice declared.

The boys and Shizuka then turns around to see a teenage boy named Doowee McAdam and a teenage girl named Sally Bollywood standing before them with rather heroic poses.

Sally grinned, "The S.B.I. never backs down in a case!" she claimed, "And we'll make sure the culprit will get their comeuppance!" she declared.

Twilight Sparkle - Twilight had a pale, light grayish mulberry skin tone, she had a moderate violet eyes and she had a long moderate sapphire blue with moderate violet and brilliant rose streaks tied in a high ponytail. She wears a blue blouse with purple stripes, white collar and red ribbon tie, a purple high-waist skirt, blue socks and blue rubber shoes. She also wears black framed glasses.

Granny Smith - Granny Smith is an old portly woman with a light-green skin tone, she had a light gray hair tied in a bun and she had orange-colored eyes. She wears a yellow shirt with an orange scarf around her neck with hearts design, red skirt underneath a white apron, lime-green and black boots and yellow gloves.

Kousaku Hata - Kousaku had a straight brown hair with messed up tips and he had golden-colored eyes. He wears a dark-blue blazer jacket over a white collared shirt with a green & black striped necktie, black pants with black belt and brown leather shoes.

She wears a black t-shirt with a pink heart in the middle, she wears a pink knee-length skirt and an orange belt, along with an orange and red-striped socks and purple high-tops with white soles and laces.

Dora Marquez - Dora had a dark-peach skin tone, she had a semi-long brown hair held up by a pink headband and she had brown-colored eyes. She wears a pinkish-purple dress with a lavender band around her chest area, lavender bottom accents and a sun/flower logo, she wears a dark-blue shorts and a pink & white rubber shoes.

Diego Marquez - Diego had a dark skin tone, he had a brown hair styled in a crewcut and he had brown-colored eyes. Kaname Chidori - Kaname had a slender frame and an average height, she had a waist-length blue hair tied in low ponytail by a red bow and she had brown-colored eyes. She wears a white buttoned long-sleeved blouse with blue collar and accents over a white-collared shirt with red ribbon tie, blue pleated skirt, black socks and pink & white rubber shoes.

School Rumble

Tae Anegasaki - Tae had a slender frame and an average height, she had a long brown hair styled in ringlets and she had black-colored eyes. She wears a white lab coat over a white collared shirt, black leather skirt and black high-heel shoes.

Sally Bollywood

Sally Bollywood - Sally had a tan skin tone, she had a long purple hair worn loose with her bangs parted to frame her face and she had brown-colored eyes. She has a red bindi at the center of her forehead. She wears a lilac sari consisted of a top exposing her midriff with an elephant on it. The skirt is shaped to allow easier movement and reveals her orange pants, which match the cloth tied around her waist and her flats. She also wears lilac legwarmers and gold jewelry.

Doowee McAdam - Doowee had a short spiky red hair and he had brown eyes. He wears a simple outfit consisted of a green shirt with a yellow elephant and dark brown pants with a pair of sneakers.
