I Love You
I wake up every morning,
Only just to find,
The smile of my mother,
Caring, sweet, and kind.
My life is never lonely,
Well, that's only half true,
Because deep inside I'm empty,
It's all nothing without you.
This aching of the heart…
I feel now everyday.
Was it hard to live with all this pain?
Did it hurt, Sasuke?
Well, despite all this I'm working,
And training real hard, too.
All these tears, sweat, and blood-
I shed them all for you.
You may ask me why I bothered,
You can ask me why I cared,
You may ask me where I got the courage,
To do what no one dared.
It may seem childish maybe,
And foolish, perhaps it's true.
But the answer to those questions, Sasuke,
Lies in three words:
I love you.
