Argentum: Well I certainly didn't expect this outcome this chapter!
Slayer: Oh I'm going to enjoy this.
Argentum: Please no.
Grel'Slyfer: Wait what's going on?
Mizore: It has something to do with the random room and fight generators they created specifically for this crossover arc.
Shadow: And it will be entertaining.
Argentum: I'm doomed!
Genya: Should we be worried?
Gorn'Veln: Probably but who cares! More entertainment for my abundance of fans!
Hin'gorn: You mean our fans right?
Gorn'Veln: Well naturally.
Mizore: Why are you from the Abyss so weird?
Gorn'Veln: Says the people with the god of youthful chaos.
Grel'Slyfer: He's got you there.
Mizore: Touché.
Argentum: Okay before we anything else I have to say that for the first bit of the chapter… well I wrote it when I was half dead. So if you notice a change in quality around the one six six six mark. Which I kid you not wasn't on purpose! You now know why. Now with that out of the way, Mizore as today's special guest can you take it from here?
Mizore: Been a while but sure. Ahem, we here at the Dark Guard productions own nothing but oc's and reality building concepts. Everything else belongs to their respective owners. Now without further delay…
Everyone: Here's the story!

Chapter Fifty: Special third Person Chapter! Chapter nine! A fight to remember!
Turns out Michael wouldn't quite get the chance to try out using a crimson blade, instead his thoughts were as such. What is up with these exploding dolls?! Yeah the next few rooms they entered were filled with suicidal mechanical abominations. Also the "prize" just turned out to be a cake which Mitsuri and Shirone ate in five seconds. Though the rest of team Dragon, besides poor Nezuko, did indeed get a piece. Just most of it was eaten by the two human shaped vacuums. Sorry one human and one Nekoshou shaped vacuums.
Now they were fighting dolls with suicide packages attached themselves as well as machine guns. That last one was very "fun" for Michael to try and explain to everyone. It had been getting progressively worse for the last ten rooms, and now all of them were getting tired. They also learned that trying to rest in one of the cleared rooms was considered cheating. The consequence was more clockwork dolls popping out of the floor boards. Or as they were now on the fifth level, the concrete tiles.
They were able to take first place thanks to their earlier leap. However the other two teams were starting to catch up even with Shirone's help. Team Demon in particular had no problems with stamina so were able to continue on. Every now and then they'd get an update on team Void. Apparently they were also doing rather well for themselves. Though Gorn'Veln did comment on the "brutality" of one of their members.
[And there goes another doll! Sheesh what did it ever do to you kid?! There was no reason to physically rip it in half!]
[And I don't care!] At her brother's response Shirone sighed.
"Yep that's my bro… still as ruthless as ever." Needless to say everyone was giving her a bit of wide berth at that comment. Eventually it came to a head though after a particularly rough fight. It was rough enough that they all agreed to return to their safe room. As soon as Michael pressed a button on the emergency watch they saw white, and then found themselves in the safe room. After a moment they all collapsed on the floor. Now while they felt relieved, the most prevalent feeling was that of annoyance.
Didn't help that Hin'gorn felt like mocking them. [Ooh! And team Dragon retreats to recover! Too bad for them because they've just lost their lead!] Annoyed Michael tossed one of the gold coins he had on his person at the speaker. Shattering it as anger swelled inside.
I know this whole competition doesn't matter… but dammit would it be nice to win something for once! With his consistent losing streak the young dragon was simply wishing for a victory. He both wanted and craved a victory at this point. He considered dying even a better victory than constantly being saved. At least then he himself could have satisfaction in giving it his all. As they all sat up Tanjiro looked over to his friend in some worry.
He didn't like seeing the look of frustration on his face. Unfortunately before he could say anything another speaker replaced the one just broken.
[First off… that was a terribly rude move there dragon boy! Secondly I suggest you look over to the T.V again. Another fight is beginning.] Curious everyone stood up and did as suggested. Sure enough it was on once more and the twins were once again seen in their little news room.
Coughing into his hand Gorn'Veln grinned behind his purple scarf before beginning his report. [Welcome back to another cross fight! For this hour's fight we have another member from team Demon!] As their picture shrank into the corner the camera's panned around Kamanue. Those from team Dragon were now invested in this fight. Especially seeing how none of their team was "kidnapped" for it this time.
As the camera changed to a young woman Hin'gorn spoke. [And here's a member from team Void! Man I love her hair!] Shirone nodded sagely at the woman's words.
"Yeah Onee Chan's short hair is really well done." Giggling Mitsuri decided to give her own complement.
"It does make her look really pretty; however I just love the color! How did she get her hair such a perfect shade of purple? And how did she dye the ends of her hair such a perfect black?"
Shirone shrugged at her question. "Eh I think she was born that way? The purple part not the black, the black is from… I think something concerning a type of magic? I don't really know, I've only helped her cut her hair since she started dating Onii Chan." Tengen rubbed his chin at this new piece of information.
"With how you were talking about her I thought she was your actual sister." Shirone simply shrugged causing him to grin. "Though I can see why such an extravagant looking woman caught your brother's eye! Tell me what kind of coat is she wearing? I might want to get some for my wives later!"
Shirone looked at him strangely. "Do you really not know what a hoodie is? I think Onii Chan bought it for her when her old one became to ragged. Besides white I think he also got her a blue, purple, and pink." Sighing Michael decided to clear up some confusion.
"From a different time remember? These guy's wouldn't even know what a tank is if it hit them."
As if to reinforce his statement Inosuke spoke up. "What the hell is a tank?" Instead of answering Michael simply pointed his thumb at the boar boy.
"See what I mean?" The young girl simply nodded with a hum of understanding. "Alright enough with fashion though, anything you can tell us about your Onee Chan? At least personality wise?"
Shirone simply pointed at Kanao causing the flower girl to blink. "Mizore's kind of like Kanao San here. Only more outgoing and a bit more temperamental, though she's also a pretty awesome big sister despite not having any actual younger siblings." Looking back at the screen and observing Mizore's face Michael then looked at Kanao's. As she blinked Michael nodded with a smirk.
"I can actually see the resemblance in facial expressions." Having also observed the same Zenitsu, Tengen, and even Tanjiro nodded in agreement. Feeling irked Kanao hit the top of the only person she could feasibly hit the top of.
"Itai!" This person was Tanjiro and upon seeing the interaction Shirone giggled.
"Hehe~. Never mind you're exactly like Mizore Onee Chan." At Kanao's annoyed look the girl gave her best innocent look. All of team Dragon felt their heartstrings pulled at the look. Even Muichiro and Inosuke weren't immune. And my kitten eyes work yet again~. It's good to be the queen. If only they knew exactly was running through the girl's head.
It's time for a death battle! And I'm you're host the line break!
Back out in the arena Kamanue was smirking at his opponent. "This is the person I've ended up getting? Ha! This will be over quickly."
Mizore smirk before raising her hands, ice seemed to incase them as she spoke. "We can agree on that last part at least."
Getting out his claws before biting the side of his mouth, Kamanue covered his weapons with his blood demon art. "Here I come wench!" As he swung at her hoping for an easy swift win, Mizore sighed before stepping to the side. A sucker in her mouth as she observed the attack. As the blades of wind zipped on past her, Mizore simply smirked.
Is this it? At her smirk Kamanue growled before slashing at her faster. Looking towards the attacks Mizore tapped the ground with her left boot. As soon as it made contact with the ground a large chunk of ice seemed to seep from it. Raising up high enough to block all of the demon's attacks.
Seeing the shield Kamanue couldn't help but yell out at his opponent. "Ice?! Are you a demon as well?!" Mizore looked at him strangely.
"I'm a yuki-onna, a yokai, not exactly a demon." Those watching on team Dragon turned to Shirone who shrugged.
"Yeah my team is made up of interesting individuals. Like Ethan who's a demigod, and Tsukune who Onii Chan has outfitted with so many weapons I've forgotten all of them." They could only nod in understanding before looking back towards the screen. The fight if you could call it that was starting to come to a head. For as Kamanue started going all out, spitting out bullets of wind and slashing at her with his claws. Mizore simply either spun around them, or summoned up more ice to defend her person.
Of course the upper six didn't appreciate this. "Just die! Die and become my next meal!" Shirone sighed at the scene at the same time Mizore did. That's when both team Dragon and Demon had their eyes opened.
"You're pretty annoying you know that?" Then with a snap of her fingers a huge glacier seemed to just materialize. Freezing the half of the arena Kamanue was in. The black ice glistened in the light as Shirone cheered. Smirking Mizore pointed two fingers at the glacier. Black sparks seemed to come from her gloved pointer fingers. The next second a lightning bolt flew at her target, shattering the ice into a billion pieces. The attack effectively neutralizing the demon without the yuki-onna even realizing what she did.
Shirone looked at her new friends' shocked faces with a smirk. "Yep~! My team is awesome!" Before they could say anything Gorn'Veln spoke up.
[And what an upset! The winner of the round is team Void! Congratulations! As before you will be moved up five floors and you'll get a small reward beyond that. Until next time ladies and gentlemen!] With that the T.V turned off and Shirone jumped up from the couch, a catty grin on her face.
"Onee Chan's abilities have always been fun to watch. Now! Let's get moving~!" Tengen wasn't going to have that and picked her up by the back of her coat.
"Hold up there! What exactly was that she did? Because I'm pretty sure she just killed a nigh immortal demon with ice."
Shirone shrugged before kicking his side forcing Tengen to let her go. "First off don't pick me up like that." The sound Hashira groaned as she continued. "Secondly I have no idea what you mean by nigh immortal demon. All Onee Chan did was freeze it and then flash shatter it. If it can survive being shattered like that I have no idea." As the group nodded in understanding Muichiro started making his way towards the door.
"We've lost a lot of time, and despite one of our enemies being taken care of for us. There is still the other two to deal with." Despite that being a bit disheartening, it was a fair statement to make. Michael was certainly feeling the frustration. In fact he was the first to literally kick open the door and march his way through. Behind him his squad could hear the sounds of destruction.
Humming Shirone put a finger to her lips in thought. "Is he always like this?" Tanjiro shook his head at her question.
"He actually isn't, I honestly don't know what's up Nii San right now." The others who knew Michael best also nodded in agreement. In return Shirone nodded understandingly, though inwardly she was still curious. Deciding the conversation was useless Muichiro started after Michael. Noticing this the rest of team Dragon swiftly followed. So began their grind of heading back up to where they used to be. This time however their previous knowledge on each of the floors made things a lot easier. The dragons found it even easier than that thanks to their greater ability for growth.
The difference wasn't too great, yet they did notice how it was there. It actually calmed Michael down upon realizing he could get stronger much more quickly in this place. The amount of enemies as well as how unique they were, made training much more efficient. In fact as he started to cut down doll after doll after doll, Michael started to smile from the rush of strength he felt.
His vicious smirk was also starting to appear on Tanjiro's face. Having accepted his new instincts a bit more than Kanao had, the sun breather was starting to enjoy himself. For as with all dragons he was beginning to enjoy simply getting stronger. This feeling was partially overshadowed by his annoyance at having broken another sword though. As the two cut down foe after foe, the others started to wonder what was going on with them.
In fact Kanao was biting her lower lip in worry. What has gotten into both of them? Nezuko also noticed and while worried, also saw to a much lesser extent the same look on Kanao's face.
Must be a dragon thing. The three dragons themselves however didn't notice their own feelings. In fact the only one who noticed even a bit of how he felt was Michael. Especially when he cut one of the larger dolls completely down the middle. He could feel the smugness inside of his chest. Unfortunately he only pushed it to the side, already knowing how he liked fighting when it was fun. Never once thinking that his own subconscious loved power for power sake.
It's time for a death battle! And I'm you're host the line break! (This next part of the chapter is written by Slayer Infinium)
As they began to cut their way through floor after floor, they eventually reached beyond where they once retreated. This room instead of having multiple doors only had one with a lever next to it. Next to the lever was a computer screen with a digital slot machine being shown. Trying the door they quickly found that it did not budge. Smiling Shirone spoke up with her chest puffed out.
"I shall pull the lever!~" Looking at the little sister Mitsuri patted her head with a smile.
She then spoke a single word. "No." Now depressed Shirone huddled in a corner as Mitsuri turned towards the lever. "Instead I shall pull it!~" She then heard a jingling sound and looked over to see Muichiro had pulled it. Mitsuri had then quickly joined Shirone in the corner. Michael couldn't help but look at them both, his expression one of disappointment. Though most of it was directed at Mitsuri. Shirone was still just eight after all, and he wasn't about to hold anything against the young girl.
Looking back at the slots as Tengen laughed at the two in the corner. The slots eventually slowed down with the left most slot stopping first.
Nezuko couldn't help but look at the symbol it showed in confusion as Michael's eyes widened. "What does that symbol mean?" The next symbol to appear was the silhouette of a dragon, then the next was some kind of symbol no one had ever seen before. The natural born dragon was the first to realize what was going to happen.
"Oh fuu-AHHH!" Before he could finish swearing a hole popped open underneath him and he fell. Looking to where he fell through Nezuko popped her lips before making a small sound and one word.
"Ohhh… darn." Looking over Mitsuri jumped up and tried to follow but the hole closed on her face. Quite literally to as she now held her bruised nose.
"Itai! Itai! Itai!" Sighing Shirone walked over to the screen and hit her left hand into the palm of her right. He white leather gloves creating a more satisfying smack sound.
"I see! V.S or verses, a symbol of a dragon who I guess is Michael! And that last one is… is… oh no. Whelp Michael's dead."
Looking back over to the small girl who said that so casually Tanjiro quickly questioned her in worry. "What do you mean dead?! Who is he fighting against!" Shirone looked over to the worried faces of her new friends before saying one sentence, a sentence that cleared everything up.
"My over protective Onii Chan." As she said that, the same spread and furniture as before popped out of the ground a bit a ways from them. They quickly realized what was about to happen and looked at each other in worry. Well besides Muichiro, that kid was simply sitting on the couch eating his new favorite snack. What that snack was? It was the delicious flaming hot chili lime Cheetos! Mhmm chili lime. Uh where was I? Oh yeah the smack down.
As he fell on the stone hard ground Michael looked up to see himself in the arena. "Oh crab nuggets…" Standing up and brushing off his haori he looked over to see his opponent also brush himself off. The man who looked about his age and had on a blue duster, black gloves, and dark red combat boots that he stuffed his dark brown pants in. Around his waist on a black leather belt were a plethora of pouches. Finally to literally top everything off, he had on a tattered looking dark brown tricorn hat on his head, as well as a black scarf wrapped around his face.
Michael couldn't help but gulp as his opponents blood red eyes looked back up at him. Something inside him was telling Michael to avoid the upcoming fight. Unfortunately peace became a non-option as Hin'gorn spoke.
[And here is an event we didn't think would happen so soon! The leader of team Void! Hunter Infinium! And team Dragon! Michael Varys Smith! Are now in arena to fight until a winner is declared!~] With a laugh Gorn'Veln continued where his sister left off.
[HAHA~! It seems we have quite the event going on now. However as bonus if the leader of team Void wins he'll get his sister back! So do your best! And remember all of those at home who are cheering you on!~] From the look Hunter was now giving him, Michael knew the man wasn't about to take it easy on him.
So instead of waiting the young dragon immediately tried diplomacy. "Look! It was completely random! We did not mean to take your little sister. Though Shirone has been a big hel-" He was interrupted by a loud buzzer that signaled the start of the fight.
[And the fight is on!] For a moment Michael couldn't help but glare at the now visible announcer's box. That moment however would almost cost him, for as he looked back a blackish silver pistol was pointed at his face. With wide eyes he moved his head out of the way as Hunter fired his first shot. The bullet was visible as a stream of light, a light that hit the far wall and made a hole into the reinforced metal.
At that point Hin'gorn spoke up in shock. [Okay! That was unexpected! Gotta get into contact with the contractors soon. We're going to need stronger arenas at this rate!] Now while those watching were able to see the damage done, Michael didn't get the chance quite yet as Hunter kicked out with his leg. Spitting a bit as the air was knocked from his lungs. Michael held his stomach as he was thrown back. Recovering mid-air he had to start running as Hunter began to fire on him.
"Make this easy and give up already!" At his demand Michael felt a bit of rage rise up from inside of himself. Growling lowly at his opponent Michael activated his mark. "That's interesting…" With his physical power now quintupled Michael used his tenth form to flash over. It wasn't enough however as Hunter blocked Michael's sword with his right pistol. As eyes met Hunter couldn't help but find something curious. Purple eyes? I thought they were a different color a second ago. Deciding it didn't matter hunter raised his left pistol and fired.
Seeing the movement Michael tilted his head as the bullet grazed his cheek. It stung but he ignored it as he swung his sword again, the blade now lit aflame. Though surprised Hunter still blocked it with his left pistol. From there it became a deadly calculated duel. One where both opponents were studying their enemies moves to certain attacks. One thing that became apparent to Michael was that in the arena he could use his Lyb'Craeft. Something he activated on pure instinct. Another thing was how Hunter didn't need to reload, instead he was using the pistols as a medium to fire some kind of magic.
It was something he had never seen before and yet while he could understand what it was. He himself was having a hard time deciphering what he was getting. Hunter on the other hand already made a few guesses as to what was happening. Even quickly deduced what he needed to do to gain a victory. However he had an entirely different goal in mind.
So with a smirk he blocked another sword slash before simply teleporting. Not expecting to see someone else do so, Michael was a bit slow to turn around as he was shot. The force of attack was enough to spin him around. As he hit the ground Michael coughed up some blood as he began healing. Seeing this Hunter sighed to himself.
Really need to invest in some sort of healing magic myself. Raising up his left gun Hunter was about to finish end the fight when Michael disappeared in black flames. That was more unexpected for Hunter than it was for Michael when he blinked away. It was the first time the voidwalker had ever fought someone else with the ability. Feeling an attack coming Hunter spun around while pistol whipping the back of Michael's head. As his head rung, the young dragon tried to reorient himself when Hunter kicked him in the stomach. This time it was strong enough to launch him towards the wall.
The feeling of pain and broken bones sounded off inside his body as he made contact. Of course he did his best to quickly heal himself, but Hunter wasn't someone to let up on his attacks. And so began firing on the dragon's position. Hunter even began to teleport around the room to try and catch him by surprise. Thankfully with his Lyb'Craeft Michael was able to tell where Hunter was going and move accordingly.
Narrowing his eyes Hunter saw the way his opponent looked at him. Noticing how Michael's eyes were able to track him despite his teleportation's. Hunter made a decision.
If I can't lose him by blinking, then I'll lose him by moving faster than he can track. With a smirk Hunter seemed to disappear from view. His opponent's eyes widening as he tried tracking him. Hearing a friendly voice inside his head Hunter nodded before reappearing. His guns now gone, and instead he now held a three foot long jian of sorts. The blade was green in color; though the center was pitch black. Holding it with one hand Hunter swung at his opponent's neck. Michael seeing his impending doom decided it was now all or nothing and began taking in dimensional energy. Hunter couldn't help but narrow his eyes at the speed his opponent had just used. Okay he was not that fast a moment ago!
Jumping back from Michael's retaliating swing, Hunter noticed a piece of his coat was cut. "Take that as a warning." Looking back at Michael with a raised eyebrow Hunter smirked behind his scarf. "I won't be going easy on you anymore."
Shaking his head Hunter pointed his blade at Michael. "Neither will I then."
It's time for a death battle! And I'm you're host the line break! (And back to Argentum writing)
Taking a calming breath as he felt his life literally drain away, Michael charged in. Going at hypersonic speeds as his sword caught aflame. Even so Hunter simply had to raise his own sword to block Michael's first form. Narrowing his eyes and running on pure instinct Michael began to combo his forms. Attacking in quick succession as his opponent blocked each of his strikes. Metal clanged against metal as the two proved their worth as swordsmen. Back with team Dragon Mitsuri and Tanjiro looked on in worry.
For while the other's cared for Michael, though Muichiro was up for debate, Tanjiro and Mitsuri were a lot closer to him. The next closest was Nezuko who was squeezing Zenitsu's hand. Zenitsu was also watching in anticipation, though that was only outwardly, inwardly was another story.
Itai! ITAI! I know she's worried by Nezuko Chan is starting to break my hand! The zappy boy was doing his absolute best to stay strong for his lover, a quite commendable act.
Shirone on the other hand was the only one not worried. Being the only one who knew her brother in the group she knew he was planning something. For despite not really caring about anyone besides their friends and family. He never goes out of his way to seriously hurt others either. Though she did wonder if he would actually kill Michael seeing how the dragon did "kidnap" her. She decided to trust in her brother's insane mind. Back on the battlefield Michael was starting to feel the strain from using everything.
His previous injuries also didn't help in that regard. I can't keep this up for much longer! I have to figure something out or else this guy will kill me! Opposite of his thoughts Hunter was wondering about Michael's eyes.
What's up with the back sclera? Reminds me of something… Now using enough power to simply knock his opponent's blade away, Hunter was being a bit more casual with his thoughts now. Now thinking about all the spells he had, Michael quickly thought of a combination that would give him an edge. Now actually having the magic to perform it he went all out on his spells.
Jumping back Michael slammed a hand on the ground. There was a bright flash that left Hunter slightly blind, however he recovered quickly. Opening his eyes he couldn't help but feel truly surprised for the first time in the fight. For now the entire arena was a forest.
Gorn'Veln summed up his thoughts rather well. [Wow! Through the use of some kind of magic Michael has created a spruce wood forest! Just what can he be planning?] Turned out they wouldn't have to wait for too long, for after using his territory creation magic. Michael then used his wood life drain magic. Controlling the trees to wrap his opponent up in branches. As Hunter started to feel a drain, Michael began to grin as he felt the drain on his stamina slightly lessen. That's when he enacted the second part of his plan. Using his eyes he calculated what he needed and then created a dome of wood over himself.
He then spoke out loud something that confused everyone. "In memoriam of a certain arch mage! Taste the exquisite art that is Explosion!" Speaking of a certain arch mage, Megumin suddenly found herself grinning like a maniac. Something that creeped out everyone around her, but back to the fight for freedom. For as soon as Michael said the "magic" word, a magic circle then formed underneath Hunter, it took him only a second to realize what was happening. However despite that he couldn't help but chuckle.
"Heh… he got one over on me." That's when he was engulfed inside the explosion magic. The shockwave knocking over all the trees and even the dome Michael had created. The young dragon himself was even thrown away from the blast, hitting the wall again and breaking more bones. However he still couldn't help but grin as he wiped blood from his mouth. Healing his bones as he stood up and wiped the dust off. Up in the viewing room Shirone for once felt some panic.
"Onii Chan!" All those who felt relief for Michael now felt bad for Shirone. They had slightly forgotten that their friend was fighting her brother. Back in the arena Michael looked into the cloud of dust. His guard up in case his opponent either survived or could still somehow fight. That's when all of the dust was blown away in a strong wind. The wind quickly became a gale as even water and lightning seemed to come from the center of the explosion.
Covering his eyes Michael couldn't help but groan as he saw Hunter standing just fine. His sword held up as it generated the miniature storm. Lightning even seemed to come off his body as he smirked at the young dragon.
"I'll give you an A for effort, but only a E for power." As Hunter directed the storm upwards a lightning bolt hit the tip of his sword. "Now it's my turn." With speeds Michael simply couldn't keep up with, Hunter vanished and appeared to his side. Swinging his electrically charged sword. On instinct Michael raised his blade to defend against the attack. His eyes could only widen as he saw something he never thought would happen.
Hunter's blade had cleanly cut through Michael's, both figuratively and literally shocking the dragon to his core. Even his team was shocked to see the ease in which Hunter destroyed his sword. And as he collapsed from the lightning coursing through his body, Hunter raised his sword, ready to finish him for good. As those from his team shouted in panic, hoping beyond hope that Hunter would hear them and stop, Shirone saw what was really happening and smirked.
That's when Hunter brought his sword down. But instead of watching his death, Michael watched as Hunter aimed a blade of wind and lightning at the announcer box. Cutting through everything as they both heard shouts of panic. The shouts came from the twins as they fell into the stands, right on top of their cardboard "audience". Zapping towards them Hunter materialized one of his pistols in his off hand. Firing upon the two that had kidnapped everybody.
From his position on the ground Gorn'Veln back flipped away, unsheathing a wakizashi as he growled. "Do you have any idea how long it took to set that all up?!" Instead of answering Hunter smirked and continued attacking. Michael watched in confusion as Hin'gorn picked up a remote from the wreckage.
"Let's see how you like this!" Pressing the button both team Dragon and Void watched in panic as all of team Demon appeared. Daki looking around for a second smirked at the downed dragon.
"Oh hoho! I didn't know it was my birthday~!" Next to her Gyokko also laughed as they approached Michael. As they targeted their demon slayer enemy, two other figures ran at Hunter.
""Time to die Voidwalker!"" The purple skinned abominations materialized multiple serrated chakram's, one in each of their four arms before throwing them at Hunter. The voidwalker clicked his tongue before deflecting them, however as he focused on them Gorn'Veln smirked as he swung his blade. Out from the back of his sword's tsuba, came the same rectangular metal frames that teleported everyone there in the first place.
Feeling the attack coming Hunter ducked and rolled to the side, firing his pistol at his attacker. In response Gorn'Veln created another frame that he stepped into. Hunter could only narrow his eyes as it spun and his opponent disappeared. He then turned around to block another chakram. Down in the arena Michael stood up shakily, feeling his stamina just about kaput at this point. However in his enhanced state he could still fight back both Gyokko and Daki. Deflecting both monstrous fish and sharp cloth.
I don't have much left in me! It was starting to get harder to breathe, but he persevered charging forward with his broken blade. Thankfully the edge was still as sharp as ever, and he managed to cut off Gyokko's arm despite his hard scales. As the uppermoon yelled out in pain Daki came in and kicked the slayer away. Even she could see that Michael was too strong to take on alone now. Using the rest of his magic Michael sent tendrils of wood at the two. Hoping to drain them for some strength, and while Gyokko teleported to another pot he had made. Daki was caught causing the dragon to smile.
As she felt her very life force start draining Daki cried out for help. "Nii San come out and help already you ugly buffoon!" That's when in a gross display another person seemed to just fall out of her very skin. Another demon with a rather ugly face. His eyes also showed something that surprised Michael.
"Another uppermoon three?!" As the demon formed sickles from his flesh, he smirked at Michael as he cut his sister free.
"Yep! Names Gyotaro kid! I would say it's a pleasure to meet you, but there's nothing pleasurable about a handsome guy like you." Looking at his now three opponents Michael clicked his tongue in frustration. Back up in the stands Hunter dodged a beam of sickly purple light. Looking up he saw Hin'gorn standing on the ceiling. In her hand was another clockwork doll. Only this one had a cannon coming from its mouth. Shooting at her brother Hunter simultaneously deflected another chakram as he kept on the move.
The battle was not going in his favor. That's when he got an idea and looked over the wreckage of the announcer box. That must've also been their control room. And seeing that remote Hin'gorn used… there must be one for our teams as well! Deflecting another attack Hunter rushed over to the wreckage. Gorn'Veln at first was curious as to what the Voidwalker was doing. But as he saw him looking through things and pressing random buttons on different remotes. It became very apparent as to what Hunter was doing.
"Don't let him mess with any remotes!" However as he said that things started going weird, for not only them, but for team Dragon and Void. All of the rooms started shifting, dolls started coming out and attacking everyone, and even the arena itself had undead creatures start to pop out of holes in the ground. Upon seeing the undead Gorn'Veln turned to his sister. "So you did make the zombies!"
As she jumped down from the ceiling to avoid spikes she Hin'gorn laughed sheepishly. "Haha… so I did~." As chaos grew Hunter finally pressed found the right remote and pressed the right buttons. So with a shift in the pits of their stomachs, teams Dragon and Void appeared causing Hunter to laugh.
"HA! Finally got it!" He then turned to his now rather pale looking opponents. "I think it's time to end this don't you?"
It's time for a death battle! And I'm you're host the line break!
There was a brief pause before all hell broke loose. It began with Mizore showing no hesitance as the tips of her hair extended with some ice. She then waved her now ice clawed hands at Daki. The uppermoon's eyes widened before using her obi's to deflect the attack.
"You bitch!" Those two words were enough as everyone began attacking everything they considered an enemy. For that demons the consisted of literally everyone who wasn't them. Rushing forward Tengen and Genya decided to set their focus on the dolls and undead. Destroying them with either bombs or head shots from a shotgun. On the other end Tanjiro quickly activated his mark and charged at Gyotaro. Engaging in a fierce fight as Kanao and Inosuke joined him. With Daki Mizore was joined by Zenitsu and Nezuko.
Though she was interested in just who they were, figured that anyone who fighting with her was an ally. Attacking Gyokko for round two was Muichiro, he was joined by tanned skinned boy wearing armor and holding a double edged sword. Running up a tree and setting up a sniper position was another figure, one who was covered in military body armor. He took aim at the ones attacking Hunter. Finally Mitsuri ran over to Michael and pulled him to the side.
"We'll handle everything from here! You just focus on regaining some strength." After making sure he'd be fine for a moment by destroying anything nearby, the love Hashira jumped into battle with the uppermoon two. Deciding to do as she said, Michael stopped all of his enhancements and felt extreme fatigue settle in. So much so that he almost fell unconscious.
"Will you be okay?" Looking over he saw Shirone standing next to him, her face was filled with worry. Though she was still paying attention and destroyed some kind of zombie that had approached. Kicked its head so hard that it exploded in a shower of gore. "Eww… I really shouldn't have done that."
Despite himself Michael chuckled. "Hehe… well better than having it bite you. As for if I'll be okay? Guess we're going to have to wait and see." Nodding Shirone stood by as his protector. Killing anything that got near enough to harm them. Though she also paid attention to the fight in the stands, she smiled at what she saw. For now with someone to watch his back, Michael was now able to fully concentrate. It was a good thing for him and very bad for his enemies. For now he could more accurately use his weather manipulation abilities to wreck them. And absolutely wreck them he did.
Lightning was striking everywhere they could move, wind acted as a shield around his body, and water obscured their vision. He was literally a miniature typhoon, a typhoon that was ripping his way through everything thrown at him. Michael who was now watching was in slight awe at the power being thrown around. However he was still worried at how Hunter's opponents could still move and attack. In particular Gorn'Veln was able to attack back by manipulating space around himself. Seeing how his power worked Michael felt fear.
He's creating non-Euclidean space! His power also acted as support for his twin as Hin'gorn created puppet after puppet. Doll after doll after doll to attack their foe, and each one only became more complex and stronger. For the moment Hunter was holding out, but even he was starting to get annoyed. He had wanted to know just who these two were, but now he just wanted the fight over. For despite being a warrior, Hunter hated long fights of any kind. So with a sigh he decided to use above the minimal effort he was using. Little did he know what kind of effect this would have on the other battles happening.
Dematerializing his pistol in his left hand, Hunter raised it above his head. As he did so red lightning formed on his palm, becoming a large ball that condensed and then expanded. What he said next was not something Michael ever expected to hear.
"Enough! Let's see how you deal with the light of Hyperion!" Next to him Shirone whispered to the young dragon.
"He stole that after killing said Titan for you information. Isn't he the best~!" Michael could only give the neko an incredulous look. That's when he heard a yell of pain.
Looking over to the yell he saw Gyokko starting to burn. "What is this?! There's no sun here!" As the other two started burning Michael realized what was happening. Hunter was literally creating a miniature sun to throw at his enemies. At the same time he was also burning their enemies. Daki was next to start burning, but as she yelled out in pain Gyotaro did something on what seemed like instinct. He ran to her, picked her up and threw her into the shade of the trees. "Nii San!" Despite how evil they were, despite how they were their enemies, everyone even Muichiro felt something as Gyotaro smiled at his sister.
"You were always the most useless out of the two of us huh?" He then fell to his knees, his body starting to disintegrate. "Tak-take care of your… yourself." With that he faded away as Hunter threw his mini sun at his four foes. Seeing what was happening Gorn'Veln rather reluctantly created more metal frames. Then in a split moment, he teleported himself and his allies away as the sun fell on his and his sister's position. Muichiro could only curse as he saw Gyokko's body disappear, and he knew that despite having half his body destroyed he would live. As for the mini sun it melted a large crater into both the stands and the walls around it.
Sighing Hunter threw his sword to the side as it dematerialized into white specks. "Dammit! So close to killing two Darkwraiths." Looking down he hopped off the stand and before he could say anything Mizore and Shirone tackled him in a hug. Smiling he hugged them back as he looked towards his new allies. "So… I guess introductions are necessary?"
With a bright smile Tengen laughed. "HAHA! I suppose they are! But allow me to introduce myself~! I am Uzui Tengen! A former shinobi and the god of festivals! You may bow before my extravagance!" Those on Hunter's team looked at him before Hunter turned to Michael.
"Just who is this goof?" There was a pause before Mitsuri started laughing and Tengen sat down depressed. Michael could only sigh at the scene.
One thing after the other ain't it?
It's time for a death battle! And I'm you're host the line break!
Argentum: Whoo! Hurrah! That chapter is finally over.
Slayer: It only took us like a week to finish.
Argentum: Didn't mean it wasn't difficult to finish!
Grel'Slyfer: I personally loved the carnage.
Mizore: I liked absolutely dominating Kamanue.
Kamanue: And I hated that!
Gyotaro: Hey you're not the only one whose dead!
Kamanue: Who cares about you ugly.
Daki: I did!
Kamanue: You're his sister so that's kind of implied.
Grel'Slyfer: Debatable.
Argentum: Honestly you two would've live longer but because of the random generation system we made… well you can see the results.
Slayer: Yeah that's what happens sometimes.
Demons: That doesn't mean we have to like it!
Slayer: I say it's deserved.
Daki: Why?!
Slayer: You insulted my girlfriend.
Mizore: It wasn't that bad.
Slayer: Don't care no one does so in front of me.
Mizore: Aww.~
Daki: Oh my god…
Argentum: Okay! I think that's enough, and because he won't show up again. Gyotaro can you please end us off?
Gyotaro: Not like I have a choice. But fine! This has been a Dark Guard production now signing off.
Everyone: Goodbye!
