AN: This is my first story lol, so go easy on me. If it's bad let me know so I can fix said mistake. So uhhh anyways lets get this shoe on the road this fic is going to kind of be like a cold yet joyful and happy Naruto so let's go with that for now. If I feel like changing it I will.

-Konohagakure no Satō-

A small boy, about 5 years of age, could be seen running down the street at a very fast pace, one you would not particularly see at such an age. Naruto, a slightly bright and hyperactive kid would often receive glares and insults thrown at him for seemingly no reason at all, according to him. But little to did he know that he was the container of a very powerful Chakra entity known as the Kyūbi no Kitsune (Nine Tailed Fox) and said entity is known as a Biju (Tailed Beast) and had attacked and nearly destroyed the village if it weren't for the Fourth Hokage defeating the fox and sealing in said child.

Unfortunately for Naruto he was used as a scapegoat for the village's hate and would often get looks of hate and fear sometimes escalating to violence, for example like an occasional bottle or rotten food in most cases, but today marks a very crude awakening call for young Naruto. October 10th his birthday, a day normally celebrated with family and friends whilst rejoicing in your date of birth, but not for him.

It was getting quite late as the sun was almost finished setting and Naruto had just gotten finished eating at a ramen stand for his birthday with his grandfather-figure the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi also known as the Shinobi no Kami(God of Shinobi) was quite the old but powerful man and had to retake the role of Hokage again after the Fourth had died.

He had taken care of Naruto the best he could have but with the village repairs and the cursed Civilian Council it was quite hard to get out of his office and tend to the little boy. So on the lucky off chance in which he finished his paperwork he would often spend time with our blonde friend and take him to eat or just be in the presence of him.

Today he had taken the day off just to spend with young Naruto because it was said boy's birthday, with that he decided to take him to a ramen stand that had not hated Naruto because of his burden and were old friends of his parents who had wanted to meet him.

So we find ourselves at around 7 pm, the sun is setting and with it leaves a very orange and purple sky basking in glory some would say it's quite the sight to see but we find an old man in silky white and red robes with a hat that had a kanji of fire at the tip of it with a young boy no older than 5, wearing a pair of blue shorts and a blue shirt with black shinobi-like sandals and spiky blonde hair, sky blue eyes with a pair of 3 whisker-like marks on each cheek.

They had just sat down a couple of minutes ago and ordered their food. So while waiting Naruto decided to ask a question that was quite frequent nowadays.

"Hey, old man why does everyone look at me like that and say things like "demon brat" or "fox brat" I just don't understand," Naruto asked in a somber tone.

Hiruzen just sighed and said, "I do not know why Naruto-kun".

But Naruto wasn't taking no for an answer today and started to scowl and clench his fists while in a slightly angered and sad tone spoke "But I just can't take it anymore, it doesn't make sense I haven't done anything wrong, and am always nice to everyone and all I get in return is a hate-filled glare or something throw at me" he stated with tears brimming his cerulean eyes as he then started to yell in a hushed voice "I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY, WHY PARENTS TAKE THEIR KIDS AWAY FROM ME, WHY I GET LOOKS OF COMPLETE LOATHING AND WHY IM JUST A TARGET OF EVERYONE'S UTTER HATRED?!" screamed Naruto in an exasperated tone while tears flowed freely from his eyes.

Hiruzen was meanwhile at a loss of words for how vocal and emotional that statement was and couldn't quite respond to it at the second, so he instead came up with another blatant lie like every other time. "I truly am sorry Naruto-kun but I cannot tell you until later," he said in a tired voice.

Naruto just muttered with a disappointed voice "You would tell me if you trusted me enough with it but it seems like you would rather tell the whole village than me".

He had no response so they just waited in silence for their food to come. As their food was sat down in front of them Hiruzen was pondering what to say next hoping not to anger the boy any further but Naruto beat him to it as they finished their meal and said "If you don't want to tell me, fine I just want a reason before I start giving them the same treatment", before getting up and walking back off into the distance. Hiruzen just sighed in a sad tone and thought 'have I failed you Minato, Kushina' as he saw Naruto walk off in the other direction.

Meanwhile, as Naruto was walking it was getting rather dark so he decided to head home on the way he saw more villagers start to point and whisper at him while glaring, and soon enough it got worse as they started to throw things at him and he then decided to start picking up the pace and speed walk. The villagers quickly decided that they had enough of that demon walking around so freely and quickly made up their minds to end the life of said demon. So they started walking behind him and soon enough walking turned into running, Naruto was soon sprinting full out into the night while hearing people screenplay behind him saying things like

"DEMON"

"GET BACK HERE MONSTER"

"YOU KILLED MY PARENTS SO I'LL KILL YOU"

"MONSTER"

Naruto was just running for his life at this point, as he was running he decided to take a left turn but to his horror, it was an alley he had run into. The villagers finally caught up and were rather excited to bring the end to the demon and started to grip their knives, kunai and fists tighter.

Naruto just sat in the corner terrified out of his mind and in a whimpering voice asked "why are trying to hurt me, w-what did I do"?

One of the villagers decided to speak up and stated in a rage-filled voice "You know what you did you damn demon"!

Another one just snarled and said "You killed my brother you disgusting brat" and proceeded to spit on him.

It was then that pain-racked Naruto's body as someone kicked him straight in the stomach making him gasp out for air,

he then got another kick straight in the ribs causing him to wince heavily.

The kicking and punching went on for around thirty seconds until they started to use their weapons. An excruciating pain stung Naruto's entire left arm as someone slashed their kunai down from his forearm up to his shoulder and then proceeded to stab him in the back, stomach, and right shoulder.

After about 2 minutes of they complete abuse and torture they stopped thinking he was dead as their was a pool of blood and it looked like he had stopped breathing. So they left, but little did they know he was alive and currently talking to the main reason they hate him….

-Mindscape-

Naruto woke in a sewer-like place with a giant cage in front of him with a large piece of paper that had the kanji 'Seal' on it. "Huh where am I, What is this place? the last I remember was….." Naruto led off until he was blasted with an absurd amount of killing intent that knocked him straight back down.

"So my jailer finally decides to meet me hmm" something growled out behind the bars Naruto was looking at.

"W-w-who is t-that'' he asked and a scared voice. The voice decided to make itself present as a Giant 200 foot tall fox with nine humongous tails swaying behind it and said with a bragging an arrogant tone

"Well little brat you might know me as the mighty Kyūbi no Kitsune strongest of all the Biju and…." the fox stopped for a second and looked at the kid just staring blankly at him and then decided to wait and see what his reaction was after he figured out what happened.

Naruto was just trying to process what happened as one moment he was getting beat and the next he woke up in a sewer to a giant talking fox, It then clicked for him as he thought about what the people were talking about around him, calling him a "fox brat" or "demon brat" as he was now standing in front of the Nine-tailed fox that nearly destroyed the village years ago

His heart started racing and fear was streaming through his veins while his body just trembled he then asked in a scared tone "H-h-how and w-why a-are yo-u here." he then remembered how he was getting tortured and asked "Am I-i Dead" in a choked voice.

But all he got was a booming laughter from the mighty fox "Brat if you die I die as well heh, if you don't see it yet look at the paper on the bars again." the fox stated in a sort of suggestive but humorous tone.

Naruto just shakily looked at the tag that presented itself on the bars and read 'Seal' and he slowly understood what was happening and started to tear up, meanwhile the fox was just looking at the kid with mock 'pity' not that he cared or anything.

The blonde boy slowly started to calm down and think semi-rationally and uttered in a soft yet sad tone "So the Fourth didn't kill you but sealed you within me huh."

"Pfft as if that weak little mortal could kill a being such as I." the fox said in an arrogant tone.

"Oh I'm sorry." said Naruto in a disappointed tone. Meanwhile, the fox was shocked to no end seeing as his previous hosts just hated him thinking that he was nothing but a mindless beast but here he sees a boy no older than 5 apologizing to him for being sealed into the kid.

"Why are you apologizing Ningen, why do you not hate me for destroying your village and making people hate you." the fox stated in a confused tone.

Naruto just responded with "After experiencing what I have, ever since I understood what their looks meant I would think that if I were to do the same it would make me a hypocrite." Naruto stated in a suggestive voice.

'It seems he is different from the rest, is he the one old man' the fox thought with a slightly interested gaze.

"Hmm, you interest me brat how about a deal?" the great fox asked.

"A deal? What kind of deal?" Naruto asked in a calculative voice.

"Hmm how access to your senses and an upgrade from the sewer-like area and I will in turn help you become a ninja and maybe along the way tell you about your parents." the fox said in a suggestive tone.

Naruto was meanwhile in an inner turmoil he was about to immediately rip off a part of the tag and do it just for help on becoming a ninja but then the fox said something about his parents! The fox just made him a great deal he thought until he realized who he was talking to and said

"How do I know I can trust you" while looking at the fox with a narrowed gaze.

"You don't truly know if I am lying or not but I will give you some incentive like telling you my name."

Naruto looked at him surprised and asked "You have a name?"

"Of course I have a name fishcake what do you think? I was just merely born one day without any incentive on how I got here?!." the fox grumbled in an annoyed tone.

Naruto just sweatdropped and mumbled "Well you didn't say anything up until now furball." The foxed just growled at the nickname.

"Whatever brat anyway my name is Kurama. So now do you trust me."

But Naruto didn't budge and said "How do I not know you're lying hmm" in a slightly childish voice.

"BRAT I DO NOT SIMPLY GIVE OUT MY NAME TO ANYONE NOW RIP A PART OF THIS DAMN SEAL OFF SO I CAN SEE THE OUTSIDE AND FEEL IT AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT CHANGE THIS DAMNED SEWER INTO A FOREST!" The great fox yelled at Naruto.

"Fine Fine I believe you Kurama, Looking at the fox for any deceit and seeing none decided to walk up to the tag and attempt to take a piece off until a hand shot out and grabbed his wrist while pulling him away.

Naruto took a good look at the person. He had bright sun-kissed blonde hair and deep blue eyes with two jaw length bangs hanging on the side of his face with a pair of blue pants and shirt with a regular Konoha jounin vest but what really caught his eye was the white haori with red flames trickling the bottom with 5 kanji on the back that said 'Fourth Hokage'.

Naruto just dropped his jaw and said "F-fourth Hokage how-what, why are you here." in an extremely surprised voice.

Meanwhile Minato just gazed at Naruto and said "I had worked it into the seal that I would appear in your psyche….If it ever happened to where the seal would unravel and sprouted the eighth tail, but it seems i was summoned a different way. Truth be told, I'd have hoped it would've never come this far so I'd never have to see you again nine tails." The fox just growled in an annoyance but before anyone could speak the Fourth spoke up with a slightly happy voice while gazing at Naruto and said "But then I was looking forward to the young man my son had become." Naruto just looked at him with wide teary eyes and his lips started to tremble

"T-tou-san?" he mumbled, Minato just nodded. Naruto looked at him with slight anger before charging at him with a closed fist and mustered up all the strength he could and punched him in the gut, but with him being a five year old that barely did anything so Minato just hugged him. Naruto look at him with so much anger hoping that he would just set on fire and just screamed his little heart out saying "WHY WOULD YOU SEAL THE NINE TAILS IN TO ME HUH, WHY NOT ANYONE ELSE DO YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO GO THROUGH EVERYDAY! THE ADULTS LOOK AT ME WITH FEAR AND HATE THEY EVEN THROW STUFF AT Me and the reason i'm even in this area is because they tortured me." Naruto stated in an emotionless tone that made Minato shiver. "They just kept kicking and stabbing saying that I deserved all of it only to find out that one that caused my pain is MY OWN FATHER!" Naruto finished while panting in an exasperated voice.

Minato just looked extremely sad while looking at his five year old son. "I'm truly sorry Naruto but I knew you could keep the fox at bay while keeping your own sanity plus I couldn't ask anyone else for the sealing if I couldn't do it myself." Minato smiled slightly after seeing the somewhat understanding look on his son's face.

"I mean I-I-i just don't know what to feel at this point, I don't know whether to hate you or like you because on hand you are my father the great Fourth Hokage but on the other hand you, my own blood sacrificed me and threw me to the wolves hoping I could deal with it but I guess you knew that I would pull through it huh…..tou-san." Naruto said with a small smile.

Minato just beamed at his son in pure happiness but realized his chakra was starting to fade. "Naruto listen, my chakra is starting to fade and I would like to tell you a few things before I go." Minato mentioned in a somber voice. Naruto just started to tear up and nod his head while Minato explained the truth of 'that night' (Just cannon explanation with 'Madara' controlling the fox and minato battling him yaddy yaddy ya)...And that's what happened, I know I placed a big burden on you and I hope you can forgive me but you must stop that man at all costs." Minato said slightly sad that his son had such a burden at the ripe age of 5.

"Wow that's a lot to take in but can I even do any of that, what if I fail what if…" Naruto trailed off but Minato just smiled slightly and said "Naruto I know you can do this because I believe in you completely, If you're worried about not being strong enough go to my compound under the Hokage Monument, there you will find my scrolls and research of Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Fuinjutsu." Minato finished with a large smile while fading.

"I will try my hardest tou-san, I'm going to tell the old man about this and hopefully he'll help me out, I now know why you sealed the fox into me and I don't understand why but I thank you for choosing me, because that means you trusted me above all else, and who knows maybe that big old furball will help me on the way." Naruto said happily.

Said furball was growling a bit at the name and decided to present himself again. "Minato brat I don't know why I feel inclined to say this but I will help your ningen along the way and hopefully kill that bastard Madara so I give you my word."

Minato was genuinely surprised at the action but nonetheless nodded in appreciation at the fox. "Now Naruto my chakra is running out and I'm afraid I have to get going so please find it in your heart to forgive me and make sure to tell Hiruzen-sama about this and I'm sorry I couldn't be there to watch you grow up." Minato finished and ruffled his hair before fading away completely.

"I forgive you tou-san." said Naruto as tears fell freely from his eyes and then looked at his new companion Kurama.

"So Kurama what now." he asked. Kurama just looked at him and said "Well now you complete the deal then you wake up, talk to the old man then I will help begin your training." Kuruma finished. Naruto just nodded in a thankful manner while walking up to the cage snapped his fingers and the sewer turned into a luscious green forest with massive trees and a lake that way sky blue, and if you looked up you could see a bright blue sky with a gleaming yellow sun that beamed down onto the ground with such intensity you would think it was real. Kurama looked around for a bit and smiled for the first time in centuries and smiled a genuine happy smile. Naruto also made the cage turn into somewhat of a collar just to humor the fox. Kurama saw the collar and his smile dropped immediately into an angry yet deadpanned stare while just looking at him making Naruto slightly laugh at the foxes predicament. Naruto went up to him and ripped a piece of the seal off and immediately felt power surge through his body and the fox felt the smell of fresh air again.

"Alright kit you have to wake up, I can feel the old man sitting next to you in the hospital and by the looks of it he's quite nervous." Naruto just looked at him confusingly and then remembered what happened and gained a said but determined look."Ok i'll wake up and tell the old man what happened" he then gave a devious smile and said "I wonder how everyone will feel when my heritage becomes public." Kurama just sweatdropped at the humans statement.

-Outside Mindscape-

Hiruzen was quite furious that they would even try something like this to his surrogate-grandson and was also nervous at what his reaction would be when he had awoken. It was then he heard slight groaning from said child and snapped out of his thoughts and looked intently at him. Naruto himself was wondering how to tell the old man about what happened when he realized it could have been a dream but he heard some sort of snickering and muttering of 'insolent ningen' and quickly realized it wasn't. Naruto sighed and said

"Hey gramps where are we" with a somewhat sleepy voice. The Third quickly took that as an incentive to ask what had happened and Naruto quickly explained everything, From the fox to meeting his father, then finally to 'Madara' controlling the fox and telling him about the house for the Jutsu scrolls and whatnot.

Hiruzen by the time Naruto finished was wearing a grim face and said "Are you ok Naruto-kun, I didn't intend for you to know about any of that till you were older as I wanted you to live a normal life, but seeing that isn't a possibility now I suppose I can help you out in training. But I will make this clear." He started in a stern voice, Naruto just nodded and listened intently." I will only give you a training regiment like physical exercises and stuff like that, because if I were to help with everything it would show blatant favoritism to you, so you will have to do this on your own." Hiruzen finished with a slightly challenging voice.

Naruto just merely nodded at the proclamation while smiling and said "That's just fine old man I couldn't ask anything more, however I would like to use my fathers money to buy clothes and kunai, shuriken etc. so can you help me shop?" Naruto asked.

Hiruzen just nodded but quickly asked why he needed help shopping. Naruto stated that the stores would kick him out or up the price by a lot and Hiruzen was very livid by the end of his explanation while clenching his fist but otherwise didn't say anything about it and just nodded.

"Ok Naruto-kun i'll help, and talk to a couple of people about their treatment of you." Hiruzen finished with an evil smirk. Naruto just sweat dropped at him.

"Ne old man, can we go? I don't really like hospitals all that much." Naruto said with an impatient voice.

Hiruzen just chuckled and said "Sure come on i'll show you the house but you can't live in it till you're older and we announced your heritage so i'll get you an apartment till then. After that we head out and shop and i'll set up a training regiment, but be weary because I will not go easy on you". Hiruzen finished while Naruto just paled. "O-ok old man, let's just get going ya know." Naruto said in a somewhat scared voice.

-Timeskip To The House-

After Naruto and Hiruzen finished their talk Hiruzen grabbed Naruto and Shunshin'd them to Minato's house. It was nothing extravagant but it was quite nice(Road to Ninja house if you know what I mean).

They walked up to the front door and found a seal on it and Hiruzen immediately knew what it was and asked Naruto to use a kunai to cut his finger a little bit and press it on there. Naruto did as told and he heard a small click as the door unlocked, he looked up at Hiruzen for an explanation, and the old man just said it was a seal to unlock the door using someone of a related blood type to open.

As they both walked in they both coughed up a bit due to the dust from no one being in here for 5 years. Naruto looked around mesmerized by the house his father lived in and saw a ghost image of him growing up with a family and made him tear up a bit but he dropped the depressing thoughts and went along to look for the scrolls and what not but found a couple of pictures instead. What he saw was his father standing next to a woman with fiery red hair and dark violet eyes with a white sort of sleeveless turtleneck and a dark green dress with a pretty smile.

He then looked down and saw a swelling stomach and quickly realized he was looking at his mother.``kaa-san…" He said with a small smile and one lone tear dropped to the ground. He then got back on track and headed to the basement, he found another blood seal and quickly unlocked only to gape at what was behind the door.

The door opened and what was inside was a humongous library with books and scrolls of all sorts ranging from Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu and Fuinjutsu and when looking at the Fuinjutsu area he saw a lone funny looking kunai with kanji on it that was held by a string.

He quickly grabbed what he needed when Hiruzen had told him what to get. He grabbed a Taijutsu scroll that had all the katas labeled inside and the name of the style was the Hummingbird Fist made by none other than Minato Namikaze. He also grabbed a scroll on shuriken jutsu and the main 3 E rank jutsu Hiruzen had recommended to him which were the Bushin no Jutsu, Kawarimi no Jutsu and the Henge no Jutsu as he didn't want Naruto to do elemental manipulation just yet. After getting those scrolls he grabbed a Kenjutsu scroll as he was just sort of drawn to it, the sword style was called Raging Waves(I don't actually know Kushina's style so just bear with me). Last but not least he also picked up a level one fuinjutsu scroll and with that he was off to his apartment with the old man.

-Apartment-

As they arrived at the apartment Naruto set his stuff in the room and went back to the living room.(Btw its just his apartment in cannon so i'm not going to explain it).

"Alright Naruto-kun got what you need." getting a nod, Hiruzen grabbed his hand and Shunshin'd to a trusted weapons and clothes shop the sign read 'Higurashi Weapons Shop' and they quickly went inside as the bell to the door jingled a bit.

-Shop-

Naruto saw a man behind the counter roughly 30 years of age with some newspaper in his hands the man looked up to see who it was and Naruto noticed somewhat of a shocked look in his eye before look towards the Hokage and nodding in approval."Hey Hokage-sama, kid the name is Higurashi Kenshi how may I help you today." he greeted with a small smile. Naruto was quite certain this man knew of his parentage so Naruto lightly smirked and was quite happy at the fact this nice weapons shop was owned by his parents friend that wasn't an anti-Kyubi person.

Naruto then got down to business and asked for 300 kunai, 500 shurikens, 20 fuma shurikens, and a chokūto. The man went to get all those items while Naruto browsed through clothes and picked out 10 black shirts and pants and five pairs of light blue shirts and pants with an extra pair of black shinobi sandals.

They checked out with the total being around 76,000 ryo and Naruto used his Fathers money so it wasn't really an issue.

-Apartment-

Naruto and the Hokage quickly got back to the apartment using Shunshin and Naruto asked for the regiment and the Third Hokage gave him a list of things

-10 Laps around the Village

-150 Push ups

-200 Sit ups

-100 Pull ups

-200 Kicks and Punches of Katas

-Chakra Control

-Shuriken and Kunai practice

-Kenjutsu Practice

-Fuinjutsu Practice

Up the exercises by 50 every week

Naruto's jaw dropped and he looked up at the old man who was whistling innocently making naruto scowl at the old man. But nonetheless he accepted it and as the day went by he trained to exhaustion everyday for 2 years straight till he joined the Ninja Academy.

AN: And bingo, First chapter done it was kind of all over the place but I hope you liked it and as for the shipping i'm going to do NarutoxfemSasuke or Satsuki don't yell at me or anything because I don't see enough narutoxfemsasuke ship and i like them lol. Anyway when naruto joins the academy he is going to like gennin minato just with less baby fat and whiskers. I'm also going to make him top of the class only below that of Itachi uchiha and other legends and stuff just because I hate it when he hides his skill and what not. Anyway Next chapter is a timeskip of 2 years and he will be seven so that's all thanks, bye.
