This story takes place after the "2 ½-year-gap" (after Sasuke leaves and people grow up and change outfits and all that) this was inspired by a pic I saw that is really cute. Anyways it's from my character's POV so here we go…

 The Incident 

Hinata and I have always been really good friends, and I knew even before we talked about it that she had a problem. Whenever she was around Naruto she would get all shy and skittish. I told her that she needed to tell Naruto her feelings sooner rather than later cause eventually she was going to run out of time to tell him. The face that she made then made her look like a sad, hopeless puppy. She asked me how she was going to get over her "condition". I told her just to meet me in the park later. Then, I went off to find Naruto, cause a plan was already forming in my brain. I foundhim at Ichiraku's Ramen shop. I told him to come with me. After a small skirmish about ramen, I dragged him to the park. I made sure he saw Hinata, and I whispered to him,

"Give her a hug."

And so, off he went. He quietly walked up behind her, and said, "Hi, Hinata!" Before she could turn around, he hugged her. Hinata was so startled she turned pinker than Sakura's hair! I hid behind a tree and smiled. Then I went on my way thinking, Man, that was so cute!
