"Some more formidable fleets are now currently being organized and will be ready to set sail in a couple of minutes." The girls immediately turn back into work mode the moment things get serious. "Did you put someone that can tend wound in that fleet?" I ask Stella who is now sitting behind her desk. "We can treat the wounded more thoroughly here in the base but it would be bad if their condition turned for the worst on the way here."
"Don't worry, I already told Perseus to go with the main fleet." Glad then. "Hopefully the 'speedforce' fleet manage to reach their position as soon as possible." Hopefully Wales knew how to retreat from a watery battlefield. She's a battleship and with no terrain in the vast blue ocean, there's no hiding from the enemy and if she's not fast enough, the enemy would just chase her down relentlessly. "All we can do now is calm down and hope for the best."

"I'll be going to the meeting room to use the computer there. Hood and Dido, please finish the paperwork in my office first before joining me. Eugen, wait for Stella." I stand up from my seat, exit Stella's office and then enter the meeting room. Littorio isn't here anymore because Stella picked her to be part of the reinforcement fleet with Veneto.
I wonder what Wales encountered that cause her to call for back up? I turn on the table computer and as it starts to boot up, I wear the gloves. I don't intend to use the 3D holograph but I'm just anticipating that there would be a lot of windows for me to open. Having a lot of windows on a small screen would hinder my progress so having them out in the open 3D world would be very nice.
After the table computer done booting up, I transfer the data from Souryuu's tablet into the computer. It didn't take long which is good since I can do my work faster. I pull multiple windows out of the screen, mainly maps and past reports. I hope I can crosscheck these past reports with what's happening today.
Let's see… Hmm… The position is to the East of the base. Let's check that on the map. …yeah… there's no islands around there so the only way to run away is to 'GAS! GAS! GAS!' it. Hopefully the mass produced ships can buy enough time for Wales's fleet to gain some distance. Would a smoke screen work? I guess it would buy a couple of minutes at best considering what the smoke trying to hide has the same size as an adult woman and not a full-sized warship.

"How bad are their wounds, Vestal?" Stella asked the doctor of the base as the three of us sit together in Vestal's office. Just an hour ago, all the fleets that was sent today to either patrol or respond to Prince of Wales's call come back. The difference in state that these fleets come back to ports was astonishing. The patrols fleets, other than Wales's, mostly come back with only some few bruises and wounds from their battle while the reinforcement fleets and Wales's were in terrible state. "Do we need to send them to Eagle Union or Sakura Empire?" Being in the middle of the pacific, the closest nations with high-level of medical care and infrastructure are those 2. Northern Parliament is also close but the east part of the nation isn't exactly known for being… sophisticated.
"Everyone on the reinforcement fleets would need some days before I can authorize them to return back into action." So no patrol and no exercise for them. Got it! "While everyone on Prince of Wales's fleet…" Vestal stops her mouth as she takes a clipboard from her desk and run through it. "The best case is that they'll need at least seven days before they can wake up." An entire week? Really? I mean, I look at Wales earlier and her wounds doesn't look that bad. I've been in a worst state and I can still fight. "The ship that she was linked to receive a tremendous amount of damage. It's a miracle that she is still floating." Hmmmm… The riggings are like a part of the shipgirl's body, right? Maybe the damage that the rigging receive would be transferred to the girl, not physically but mentally or something. If that's the case then… yeah… the ship that the girls tow earlier is… let just say, I wouldn't be surprise if it turns into a coral field.

"Vestal, is it okay to ask them about the enemy that they encounter or would it be wise to give them some time?" I ask the cute curvaceous nurse that body can be clearly seen from her clothes.
"Hmm… the more mature ship should be okay." Noted.
"Stella, I'm going to go first and see the girls." I pat Stella in her shoulder before I exit the office and walk down the hall. The infirmary that we're in right now is a 2 story building that are separated into multiple rooms. One of them is intensive care room where they keep patient that in need of constant monitoring. It's also the place where the members of Wales's fleet are being treated. I carefully and silently slide the door open and enter the room.
"Hello, commander Igo." Hood greeted me the moment I walk into the room. She is still here, huh? She teased me earlier for being too anxious but look at her now. "Eugen and the other have return back to their own homes." So why aren't you? It's getting pretty late you know? Wouldn't it be bad for a lady to be out this late?
"You should too, Hood. The other girls would watch over them." I walk up to her and pat her in the shoulder. I notice in her hand was a book, probably some old classical Royal story or some shit. "You need to go back now in order to get a good night sleep."
"That also apply to you too, right commander?" Hmm? Probably but just like Stella said earlier today, I could just ask one of the girl to do my job for me while I take some rest.
"Yes but my room is on this island so it wouldn't take long for me to go home." As much as I don't want to send Hood's home, I have to be strict and send her home. "I know you're concern about her but I don't think Wales would be happy if she knows that you push yourself, Hood." We don't need another ship getting out of commissioned.
"I suspect you're right, commander. I'm worry about Wales." I am right. "I just hope that I could easily check on her." … Hood. Her tone was a mixed of different kind of emotions but none of them was happy. It makes my heart break just from hearing her voice. "I just wish that my home was closer."
"Your house was closer…" Well, it's kind of hard right now. Maybe she could sleep on the academy or somewhere like that. Doubt Stella would allow her though. "Well, maybe… Uuuh… you could stayover at my room." I don't know if this is a good time to joke around but I don't have any good response to her wish about her house. I don't know how property law work around here but I'm pretty sure relocation of one's house would need some paperwork and preparation. "Well, at least until Wales recover."
"Sure." Eh? "I shall return back and grab my belongings. Please wait for me in your room, commander." Before I could react or say anything, Hood closes her book and walk out of the room. I heard her elegance footsteps walking down the hall, slowly getting fainter and fainter until I couldn't hear her anymore. Shit… did I just… fuck… my mouth is going to get me killed one of these days. Or maybe Hood was just kidding and she won't actually do it.

There we go, Hood is back. "Hello there, commander pervert." Oh nope, nevermind. It's not Hood. It's… Nyui nyui? What is she doing here? I thought I told Akashi to take her job and tend the shop? "I'm here as a volunteer since I don't have anything better to do." I can think a couple of think better to do like resting and sleeping. "Now would you please help the patient by not being here." Ouch! I'm not causing a ruckus, okay?! Nyui Nyui walks pass me and up to the girl's monitors and start writing something on the clipboard that she is carrying.
"That hurt you know~" Not exactly, but I like to act.
"Good, that mean you need to go." Alright, calm down girl. There's no need for you to be violent like that. "I don't want to leave defenseless girls with a pervert like you." Fair but ouch!
"Guess you're right but," I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her body and hug her tight. "I can always hug you, no?" Nyui nyui's body tense up the moment my hands start rummaging her tiny body. "What about it? Want to sacrifice your body for the greater good of these girls, my nyui nyui?" I press my lips against her cheek.
"You're just the worst thing to ever existed in this world." Damn straight I am! But also, you start it first by being mean to me and by being adorably cute! "…promise me you won't touch the girls if I let you do everything you want to me?" I… never ask her that but sure, who am I to deny? "Sigh… there's an empty room near here, let's use that place instead."

I open the front door and immediately went up the stairs into my room. Hood's joke about staying over at my room comes to mind when I'm walking up the stairs. Ahahaha… Can't believe I'm hoping that Hood actually meant what she is saying. Then again… it would cause a massive disaster if she actually stayover at my place and everyone know.
"Hmm?" My room's light is still on? Shit! Did I just leave it on the entire day? Fucking hell! My bad I guess. I guess this is one of those days where you forget to do one of your daily habit. I open the door of my room and,
