NEW AND IMPROVED CHAPTER THREE

Enjoy!

"Princess Anna!" came the call. Anna groaned.

What now?

She thought, annoyed. "Can't it wait?" she cried in response. A flurry of footsteps and a servant jogged unceremoniously into the library, a whirlwind of fabric. He bent over deeply, gasping for breath. "Your...sister..."

"What about her?" Anna asked, springing up at the mention of Elsa. "Hurry up, I need to know what happened to her!" she urged the servant flapping her hands violently (as if that was going to help!), and a few seconds later he managed to squeak out between breaths "Collapsed...in chambers...hurry..." at these words Anna sprinted up the many winding staircases as if the devil himself was chasing after her, forgetting in the hurry that she wasn't meant to run up stairs. She stopped at the closed door to Elsa's bedroom, not even noticing Kristoff, who was dozing in a plush armchair. Without even knocking, she shoved the doors aside and ran to her sister's limp body, but almost immediately she fell over. She looked around and saw a layer of frost covering the floor, snaking up the walls in intricate patterns and for one moment, she completly forgot about Elsa. She admired the beautiful patterns before snapping to reality. On the bed was... Elsa. She was shocked to see her sister so weak. She was paler than ever, which seemed almost impossible.

What happened?

She carefully made her way to the bed. "Elsa?" she whispered, holding her hand and squeezing it tightly, then shaking her shoulder violently. Elsa let out a small moan in response.

"Now, now, dear. It's going to be fine. Please don't disturb her now" came a voice behind her. She jumped a foot into the air, letting out a loud squeal, before coming face to face with the physician. "Be quiet, the queen is sleeping." he said in a low, montonous voice.

"Well, you are going to give me a heart attack one day if you keep sneaking up on people!" Anna reprimanded. "I could have DIED!" she added for an extra dramatic touch. "Come out here, and we'll discuss your sister then." he replied, taking zero notice of what she just said. Anna looked back at her sister. She looked so weak and helpless. "Is she going to be okay?" she asked, fighting back tears. "At this point, I am very uncertain. She has been unconscious for quite a while. She is burning up with fever." he said, plopping down on a chair next to Kristoff, who woke with an exclamation of "I'm awake! I'm awake!" setting Anna into a fit of giggles, despite the serious situation. She punched Kristoff playfully and said "Uh-huh" while rolling her eyes, pretending to sound convinced.

"I was!" Kristoff exclaimed, holding his hands up.

"You're such a terrible liar, it's obvious you were asleep" the physician added. Kristoff let out a small groan and rolled his eyes.

"Okay, maybe I was sleeping, but aren't we talking about Elsa?" Kristoff pointed out.

"True..." Anna said, giving in. "So, what happened?"

"She was so hot, and she's the ice queen!" Kristoff said, the worry clear on his face.

Suddenly Anna heard a weird shuffling noise, followed by a squawk. It sounded like... Elsa was awake!

"Elsa's awake!" She cried, sprinting to the door, throwing it open and ran to her sister's side.
