Oh, lucky you. I decided to finish my story after all.
There will be one more chapter, and then this story ends.

For five days Elsa lies in bed motionless, save for the slow rise and fall of her chest. For five days the doctor comes in to feel her pulse and checks her temperature, then changes the bandages on her ankle. Possibly the five longest days of Anna's life.

All the scheduled meetings are postponed and she has nothing to busy herself with so each day she comes in after the doctor has left, feeding a semi-conscious Elsa in small spoonfuls. She occasionally smiles when Elsa accidentally freezes the utensils. Kristoff is always nearby, if not finding carrots to satisfy Sven or playing hide-and-seek with Olaf. Every couple of hours, as Anna leaves to eat or find a book, she might happen to chance upon a miniature Snowgie wandering around.

As the days pass, Elsa gets noticeably better. Her ankle is slowly but surely on the mend, and a rosy tinge lights up her cheeks.

On the fifth afternoon of the fifth day, Elsa's eyelids flutter open. She raises her head, taking in her surroundings. "Elsa!" Anna exclaims, leaping up from the window seat. She rushes over and sweeps her sister up in a warm embrace. Elsa smiles. "How long have I been here?"

"Oh, five days," Anna replies, unable to do anything but smile as she hugs Elsa again.

"Five days?!" Elsa exclaims, shooting up in the bed. "I had a very important meeting yesterday!"

"It's okay, we've postponed it to next Tuesday. You didn't think we could let you miss it, did you?" Anna soothed.

Elsa smiled too, and they sat like this for some time, talking into the evening.
