Season: 7

Goodnight

Jack was tired. Dog-tired. They had trekked across rough terrain all day and still hadn't reached their destination. Daniel was so going to owe him. The temple the UAV had spotted better hold the secret to their existence and some big honkin' weapons for all the trouble this was.

Daniel was taking first watch that night. Somehow, he was still keyed up about the expedition, so he was more than welcome to stay up. He browsed through one of his notebooks as the others bedded down.

Jack was sprawled out on top of his sleeping bag, exhausted. Sam pulled hers up to her chest. She gazed upwards at the stars and moons, fingers laced behind her head. Teal'c crawled into his bag, pretty much minding his own business. He wasn't required to kel-no-reem since he began taking Tretonin.

"Goodnight, sir, Teal'c."

"Night, Carter."

"Goodnight, MajorCarter."

"Hey, what about me? Just cause I'm keeping watch doesn't mean th-"

"Goodnight, Daniel."

"Sweet dreams, Jack. Don't let the Goa'uld bite."

"Haha. Funny. Night, T. You'll get used to sleep soon."

"Goodnight, O'Neill."

"Oh, yeah. See you second watch, Daniel."

"Ok. Sleep well, Sam. Goodnight, Teal'c."

"Goodnight, DanielJackson."

"Goodnight, John-Boy."

"Who is John-Boy?"
