Chapter 17: Destroy the Monolith and Survive; Night of the Ishimura pt.6

USG Ishimura

Ship Barracks

The rescue team kept following the cries for help in the distance, as a woman sobbed, "Help! Please! Please! Please!"

Soon a man was heard crying out, "Help! Help!"

Hearing these pleas for help, Jeff tracks them to a vent leading off into an adjacent room. "There are people trapped somewhere- Irons, you know where this vent leads?" Jeff began before noticing.

"This is the main cooling duct for the personnel barracks." Irons answered though he felt something still bothers him.

"Okay, we're going to get these guys out of here." Jeff said.

Ramirez looked at the kid placed in charge and asked, "What about the mission?"

"We'll regroup with the others after; these people need our help now. Come on." As Jeff led the group to the trapped people, which happened to be barracks where a number of the ship's science team has taken shelter. The door of the room was being pounded repeatedly by Slashers. A pair of blades slipped between the door cracks, and rendered the door opened slightly, revealing several Slashers, causing the science team members to panic more. Meanwhile, Jeff watched the Slashers from behind a corner of a hallway outside the room.

"We need a diversion," Jeff thought aloud, until he suggested, "I'll get their attention and lead them away from the hatch; you two enter the cooling vent and get the survivors moving towards the bridge."

"No." Everyone turned before Irons told them, "I'll get their attention. You all get those guys out."

Jeff looked at Irons, "No time to be a hero. Leave that stuff to Wesker or someone like Noah."

Samuel Irons then ripped off his Unitology pendant and held it into his hand, "I'm not a hero- Just a man who wants to save his fellow man."

Noah got up and said, "I'll support you." Before Irons could say anything, Noah said, "You can take down twice as many with me helping you."

Hearing the determination in the younger man's voice, Irons nodded and the two made themselves noticeable, holding their weapons at the ready. Irons then threw the pendant on the floor and crushed it under boot. As he moves closer, Jeff and Ramirez enter the air ducts and move crawl towards the barracks, Shen remaining on guard outside. Irons whistles, attracting the attention of the slashers, who now charge at the two. Both Irons and Noah began cutting into them with their weapons. Inside, Ramirez kicks out the vent covering and enters the barracks, startling several of the scientists.

He was joined by Jeff who told them, "We're here to help, come on."

The scientists begin to crawl into the vent, helped along by Alissa and Ramirez, as Iron and Noah continues to wreak havoc outside the barrack doors. As the last scientists enter the vent, Jeff was prepared to leave behind Ramirez, stopped when he hears a woman crying. Looking around, he sees a frightened woman hiding in one of the bunks. Jeff got close and said, "Come on, we've got to move quickly."

The woman refuses to move, prompting Jeff to move closer and lean her head on the bunk, and asked, "You got a boyfriend?" The woman nodded, making the soldier to ask, "You want to see him again, right?"

The woman nodded her head again, "Mm-hmm."

"Good girl." Jeff told her as he offered her his hand, the woman takes his hand and leaves the bunk, proceeding to enter the vent with Jeff. At the vent's exit, Ramirez begins directing people out of the vents and towards the bridge.

While this is happening, Irons continues to shred Slashers as more and more begin pouring in. Shen noticed Noah was starting to get tired as he was using his gun to shoot at the joints of the Slashers. Only for one of them to smack the Legionary rank Warrior into a wall, making an indent.

Seeing himself alone, Irons stated, "Must have faith... In the Great Spirit."

As the last of the people escape to safety, Irons begins falling back, clearly becoming more and more exhausted. As a group of three Slashers lunge at him at once, Irons manages to dismember two of the creatures, but one manages to impale him through the chest with its claw. Using the last of his strength, Irons saws the creature's arm off, then pulls it out of his chest, before dropping his weapon and falling to his knees. Meanwhile, Jeff emerges from the vent, where he asked, "Where's Irons?"

Looking around the corner, Ramirez and Vincent watch as the creatures encircle the kneeling man. Clasping his hand over his wound, Irons then breathed with his eyes closed, prepared for his end, "Horrid creatures, transforming flesh of people into your slaves, you may mar our flesh with your evil, but you will not claim our souls."

The creatures attack Irons only for them to see a slash of light and they fell down dead on the ground. Irons opened his eyes and saw Noah there as he said breathing heavily through his helmet, "Sorry about that I woke up as soon as I could."

Stabbing his sword into a Slasher's head, Noah began to type into the same holo-keyboard as the other Warriors had before a patch of his armor opened up under his offhand side and began to apply a type of gel into the clean through wound to patch Irons up before putting his arm in a sling. When he finished Noah said, "There that should hold you over until a medic can do a better job."

Irons was amazed he didn't feel like he was dying, and the pain had been relaxed away. Looking up at the Legionary he asked, "What did you do? I don't feel any pain."

Noah helped Irons up and said, "I used my PIC to access my personal med pack and then used my Med-gel supply to help dull the pain while also stimulate your body's healing process."

"That's great and all but what the hell is a PIC?" Jeff asked, getting annoyed by how the enhanced soldiers are using something that sounds like a pic of a camera.

Retrieving his sword, "PIC: Personal Integrated Computer, is a mandatory piece of technology made by Professor Mojo of the W-Organization, all Warriors has one of these micro-computers surgically implanted at the base of our necks. They also act as personal communications between all Warrior operatives."

He explained pointing at where his skull meets his spine's neck section. Ramirez and Shen seemed a little pissed that didn't get the micro-computers, especially would have come in handy during this.

Irons held his motionless arm and stated, "I have heard of this Mojo… He's considered to be a great traitor to Unitology."

"Yeah… surprised many of us too when we heard that he used to be a part of that, his 'betrayal' of the cult is most likely why they don't like us as much, other than some reason I don't know about. He's a few chemicals short of a chemistry set, but Adam seems to trust him enough to do his job, so we have to as well." Noah said before holstering his sword.

Soon, Jeff and co. left the area, resuming the course to an elevator ascending to D Level, which they exited once the door opened.

Running through the hallways towards the mainframe, they stop upon spotting Gwen and her group spying on a pack of Slashers hunched over a small pile of corpses Angelo looked over and said, "I could take care of them with my sword."

"I'm a little more worried about how many there are. WE need to be smart of this," Gwen replied.

Angelo nodded, before suggesting, "Why don't we give my Plasma shield a try?"

"Maybe," Gwen replied.

"Maybe we could lure them away with sound," Kera replied, giving her attention from the others. She almost squeaked at the attention.

Noah thought about it and looked at the others before he said, "I can take care of that."

Noah then, with a silence that didn't believe possible with someone in full armor, went down some ways before loud sounds were coming from where he was.

The Xenecromorphs immediately picked up on it, and headed right towards the source of the sound. Gwen smirked, as she looked to Kera, "Nice idea."

Angelo looked back and said, concerned for their teammate, "But Noah."

Jonie tugged at him, "We've got to keep going. If we don't, we all die."

"I hate to say it, but Jonie's right," Sphere replied. "We have to get the engines and the gravity tethers back online, or all of this will be for naught."

Angelo gritted his teeth as he continued on a head as he kept going. As they reached the main control center, they saw the controls that Genus had messed with.

Seeing the Butterfly symbol that Genus hacked, Angelo went and used his PIC to hack Genus' Hack to undo everything but that only made his suit spark and the screen flashing before an image of Genus appeared on the screen, "I should have known someone would attempt to stop my work. However, given my intelligence I did and you will only be able to operate in half strength Angelo."

Angelo looked and asked, "Genus, why have you done this? We figured out a way to stop the Xenecromorphs."

"And what about me Angelo? Will you allow me to die as well? Allow all of us from the Organization to die as well?" Genus asked cryptically.

Sphere's optic blinked, "What is he talking about? He seems healthy to me."

"My foolish synthetic spheroid... You do not know anything about the procedure that makes us Warriors what we are, do you?" Genus taunted before an image of Human DNA appeared over his, "Scan this and see what you find."

Sphere scanned it, but then as it stopped, it blinked, and hovered back, almost shocked, "What in the galaxy... What is this?"

"I was shocked myself when I discovered it. That is why We Warriors are immune to the psychosomatic field it generates, to a degree. Because we Warriors were made possible by the energy of a Monolith." Genus revealed before his face became a mixture of a sneer and gleeful expression, "The perfect fusion of human and Xenecromorph!"

Angelo looked and said, "That's impossible... Adam!"

"Adam must have known since he was the first of us to go through it completely instead of in segments like were." Genus said his face keeping that same expression and stated, "It appears that we're not humans, we're all monsters. And you know what that means..."

"We're all hypocrites with no dreams, no honor... Just Monsters." Angelo felt his arms lowered before he took off his helmet and looked at it. Crestfallen at this revelation. Jonie looked at Genus heartbroken by her favorite Warrior had turned on them and the fact he is doing this because of how he sees himself as a monster.

He let it drop before turning to walk away as Genus recited, "My friend, do you fly away now? To a world that abhors you and I? All that awaits you is a somber morrow no matter where the winds may blow."

After the Scarlet warrior finished reciting another Act of HEARTLESS, Angelo stopped which puzzled Genus a bit.

The Soldier turned Spartan looked up and asked, "Is that why your family was murdered? Because they learned the truth? And someone silenced them?"

That made Genus' face stiffened as he kept his face as stone like as possible.

"So the why not fight against the worst nature? Namely your monster side which clearly is influenced by the Monolith," DRU's voice spoke up... from Keira's wrist band. The one made from his flesh nanos.

"You are incredibly naive to believe that, wayward one. I am doing this because I do no want to die." He began to cough up blood he held his hand to face, before he moved it and showed blood coming out of his mouth again, like on the bridge, "The only thing that the monolith did was confirmed the truth to me and promised me my life if I help it."

"But even so, you've not delayed your death, you've only hastened it," DRU's voice spoke up. "You're still dying. Slowly."

"You can thank Angelo for that." Genus snapped, before reciting, "As well as your own deaths."

At this Angelo began to look guilty, Genus noticed and said, "You hypocrite... Do not pretend to be my friend after all those years you wasted being a soldier instead of abandoning me like family did. You will soon know what it is like when someone you care about leaves you... permanently."

Angelo thought about it before he exclaimed, "Don't you dare hurt her!"

Genus smirked at this and said, "You won't be able to stop me."

He then did something as all the doors closed and locked themselves. Except for one as Genus said, "Here is an example of my new found power for joining forces with the entity within the Monolith."

He whistled and they heard heavy steps stumbling their way as they heard a groan. Genus spoke as the creature kept going, "This specimen was found in a place of eating, ripped and stabbed. But with my own DNA injected into his brain mixed into him while the infector did it's assigned job. My genius had created a new variant of Xenecromorph loyal to me and the Monolith. I am certain that some of you will recognize him."

It twitched before its face was revealed. This made both Shen and Ramirez look horrified by what they saw. Ramirez asked, "Is that…"

"Pendleton?" Shen asked feeling sick to her stomach.

Genus' voice was heard as he said, "Indeed, I found him in the mess hall before meeting you in Hydroponics, by taking a small sample of my DNA within my blood and injecting it into his brain while adding a Stasis Module to him, and the Infector went and turned him into the creature you see before you."

The new Xenecromorph fully came into the room they heard Genus give one last order to the creatures, "Pendleton, kill your former friends. Show them how friends can be hypocrites."

The heavily mutated creature that had some semblance to the man that some of them knew turned to the two as ordered and made its way to them. It twitched a bit before roaring at them. It raised its scythe arms to attack. Angelo got in the way, his sword blocking the attack. However, with a surprise to everyone, it moved in a speed that they saw Noah and Joshua had demonstrated back in the Hydroponics. Knocking Angelo into a wall making a deep indent to the wall.

While Gwen and Sphere went to check on the Spartan, Jeff and Jonie stepped up to fire a barrage of plasma shots at the being, hoping to tear it apart through a swarm of shots, making it effectively into shredded cheese or coleslaw.

Pendleton roared as he moved out of the way with his spasmodic motions in a way that was definitely not for a big person that he used to be as he went on the attack again roaring, swiping an arm blade at the two.

The two jumped back, as Jeff threw out a grenade powerful enough to blow its legs if possible. It noticed before jumping high enough to avoid it as it went off. Gwen, looking over at her boyfriend concerned, breathed in disbelief, "That's impossible… It knew…"

It then twitchingly crawled before seeing Shen and snarled at her before pouncing on her wanting to kill her. Shen uttered this word as she paled, "Oh crap."

And was pushed to the ground by her transformed friend, Pendleton snarled moving his head and raised its head attacking her with his fangs. Only for both Ramirez and Irons attacked from behind, knocking him in the back, but not damaging the stasis module. Pendleton twitched as he stopped himself from sliding before slashing faster with each of his claws in fast flurries. They were suddenly pulled back by a Kinesis pull, getting out of the Twitcher's range, as Shen made distance.

Seeing Ramirez, the Xenecromorph snarled at his former friend and charged at him twitching as it does. Suddenly, a Blue bur flew upward, as it dropped something at its face. Explosives. With only seconds left. It snarled before moving backwards to avoid being hit. Angelo groaned as he got up and noticed what the Xenecromorph did, "It... knows the concept of danger..."

"How would it know that? Its brain is dead," Jonie stated, obviously freaking out.

"Genus said he injected his DNA into Pendleton's brain before the Injector got to him so it could stand to reason as to how it might be able to retain some intelligence." Sphere concluded as he floated out of the reach of the Xenecromorph.

Angelo got up and growled, "Faster, stronger, and intelligent than the others."

Kera thought on it, as she whispered, "Faster?"

But then she thought on it and blinked, "I got it."

She looked at the bracelet, and then on instinct, branches of limbs came off with various tools, as she looked to them, "Try to keep it busy, I have an idea."

Angelo drew his sword and said, "I'm going to use my weapons! Everyone, get clear." As he drew his six-foot sword and charged toward at the Twitcher while it noticed him and snarled hurrying for him.

They clashed while Angelo then activated his own plasma shield, which was more circular than the other Warriors, using it to block any attack before doing what others thought was dangerous. He swung his shield arm and the plasma shield flew into the air, bouncing off the sides of the room before flying over to the Twitcher.

However, the Twitcher seemed faster and its reflexes far superior to the Soldier's with the Stasis field on it as it dodged his slashes, and the shield. Angelo had to withdraw as his shield came close to cutting him as he held out his arm and it was returned to its spot on his left arm before powering down.

However, in an accelerated attack, he managed to disarm the Warrior. But suddenly, before it could attempt to skewer Angelo, the Twitcher was slowing down. Everyone turned to see Kera, with a weaponized Stasis module on her left arm, slowing it down. That Angelo used shield again to sever the limb with the Stasis module before they heard a yell and saw Ben running in as he leapt into action with two grenades tied to two knives.

"Ben!?" Angelo asked before he saw his chance and ran forward using his Solid-light dagger to decapitate it so it wouldn't try to remove the grenades or hurt the kid. He then grabbed Ben before shouting, "Take cover! They're about to blow!"

Before using his body, armor, sword to absorb the blast to protect others. The room shook from the explosion. When it was over Ben and everyone else looked as the debris was all good and the corpse scattered. Ben bowed his head, "May you rest in peace, Pendleton."

Angelo looked at the kid and reprimanded him, "What you did was reckless, insubordinate, and endangering to yourself and your squad."

Ben looked down a bit. Just before one of the others could stop the soldier.

Angelo knelt down and said looking at the kid in eye level, "But did it to save us and for that you have my thanks. With a few more years you'd make a..."

"I'm sorry," Gwen pointed out. Getting everyone's attention, as she continued, "But we have a ship about to fall down from the sky and back onto the planet. Can we please hurry here and save questions or reprimands later?"

Angelo nodded, "Of course."

He then went and activated his PIC to unlock the computer controls from Genus' hacking, hurrying as much as possible.

However, Genus' face appeared and he asked, "How did it feel to kill your friend again? To become hypocrites who killed your friends?"

"Damnit Genus get out of the way so we can stop the ship." Angelo snapped.

Ignoring it the scarlet warrior looked at them and said, "However, you won and I will honor your victory by doing this. After all Angelo isn't as good with programming as I am."

Soon all the computers became unlocked for them to use in the computer terminals. Ignoring that crack at him Angelo went and freed everything as he called, "Spartan Angelo to the bridge. Do you read me?"

"Read you loud and clear, Angelo," Wyatt replied. "Computers are back online, but we're..."

"We've got to keep those doors barricaded," Chitt called out.

"Dangit," Wyatt replied. "I think these buggers are onto us."

"This ship was made with war time defenses correct?" Angelo asked, as he thought of something and began typing on the keypad quickly to find what he's looking for.

Jonie blinked, "What are you typing?"

"I'm typing the activation code to activate the Lockdown procedure. It should give the bridge, engines, and other important parts of the ship secure and buy our people more time." Angelo said as he typed the long code.

Teo asked, "Why? Thought the ship was already on lockdown?"

"I remember that ships like this were equip with war-time military grade defenses to keep the criminals, especially added during the Colony War, to keep the opposing side from commandeering a ship like this to add resources for their group. Another thing that Mathias was " He found what he was looking for and hit enter which made the bridge, engines, medical path and other key locations secured.

Wyatt and those on the bridge would notice how the sounds and banging of the xenecromorphs would lessen when they heard something metallic and mechanical happening.

"Systems are back online," Chitt replied, "And I think you bought us more time…"

"Lieutenant Chitt, have some officers keep an eye on the vents. They may be secured but a few of the enemies are capable of using acid, be sure to tell the officers to aim for the joints of the enemies and they will go down. We need to hold out until the monolith is destroyed." Angelo said, ending the conversation on his PIC, as he picked up his sword.

Sphere flew over and asked, "Where are you going?"

"I need to stop Genus." Angelo said.

The Ghost would fly up at the man and state, "And leave us alone? What if more Xenecromorphs were to come? Would you sacrifice us and the mission to settle things with Genus?"

Angelo looked down before he took a deep breath and said, "Alright..."

And remained as he checked on his ammo, trying to keep himself distracted from doing something that would risk everyone's lives.

Elsewhere

Ishimura Loading Dock Bay

The Remainder of Teams A and C reached the doc after running, as Adam heard a ping on his PIC, "This is Adam."

"Adam, this is Defense Squad Alpha. Please respond." The Celtic squad leader reported from the PIC coms.

"Go ahead." Adam said as he kept running, the Celtic reported, "Majority of the enemy had broken off the assault of our location, as they did with the other safe zones. I fear they may be heading somewhere else."

Adam then ordered, "Understood. Remain on guard. And do not answer if Genus has called, spread that to all Warrior units."

"Yes sir." The Celtic answered before ending the coms.

Looking back Adam said, "Isaac, I just got a report from all Warrior teams protecting civilians. Seems like that the Xenecromorphs have lessened their assaults on the safe zones. I think that means only one thing."

Isaac paled, "They're headed here."

He looked to the members of Team C, "Team C, get to the shuttle. Team A will keep them occupied until you get out of here."

Joshua nodded as he entered first into the shuttle and began start up procedures while saying, "All aboard!"

Looking up, Adam said, "Kori, you think you can fly higher and bombard them when you see them?"

"Yes," Kori smiled. "I shall commence the bombarding."

"Isaac, Vincent, take cover." Adam said, as he had stood out into the open as he said, ready to apport his sword to him again, "I'll take the majority of them."

The Xenecromorphs all charged right at them, roaring and snarling just as Team C made it to the shuttle, though seemed focused on the one before them as they moved to kill him. Adam smiled as he drew-summoned his sword and quickly cut through those that came close to his blade as he apported his gun quickly and fired at some of the Xenecromorphs he missed, aiming for their joints before using both weapons and his powers in successful succession.

Back with the shuttle, Joshua went to align the ship with the bay doors before exiting them with them being opened again for their ship. And asked, "I wasn't there for the briefing but, Why do we need to go back to the giant rock pulling us back at the planet?"

Rei answered, "We are going use one of the upgrades to the Falcon to destroy the Monolith with a Black Hole, and I would rather not take the Ishimura with it."

Isaac radioed, "Is everyone on board?"

"I'm not exactly flying this ship to get attention from those things." Joshua quipped before making sure that all of Team C were with them, except for those that were lost, "I think so."

Ernesto just shouted, "Just move it! We're not gonna have another window than this!"

Joshua went and flew the ship out of the dock and back to the rock bellow. However, halfway they get to the point of being far away from the Ishimura... a space-bound Xenecromorph that looked like a crab pounced onto the lifeboat.

Joshua seeing that and quipped, "Anyone order crustacean?"

Before it could do anything, Adam turned and swung as hard as possible, causing what appear to be a beam of energy to soar through and cut the crustacean like Xenecromorph die before it could do any harm as Joshua radioed, "Appreciate it sir."

Before flying out before there were more to stop them.

Adam smirked before going from his stance in Kenjutsu, to rapier thrusts, to slashing vertically as though he was using a Dao, before spinning around, having his sword in an archway before letting it fly out of his hand, as it continued for a bit before the Alpha of the Enhanced used his powers to return the sword to him as he continued to effectively use his 5ft long bladed sword against the horde the surrounds him before firing more explosive rounds at the Xenecromorphs coming his way, blowing them apart, while wondering where the air-support was.

However, another crustacean appeared and latched onto the lifeboat. Sadly, it was out of range for Adam or any Warrior to do anything. Adam hissed as they were out of range for a low-level version of his attack before going back to focus on those around him and continued to decimate the enemies.

Meanwhile

With the Lifeboat

Joshua was trying to shake off this new pest while Ernesto was complaining to the others as well as Joshua, "Can't you do anything to shake it off?!"

Joshua quickly looked around before seeing something and shouted, "Hold on! I'm gonna try and sizzle it off our side!"

He said flying into the energy beams that tethered the rock to the ship.

The creature hissed as it was hurt, but not defeated as it shifted to the other side. It kept knocking around the ship, as it roared. Ernesto cried, "That did not work!"

While the Warrior was moving the ship to throw the Xenecromorph off, Joshua then shouted at Ernesto, "You wanna fly!?" Even though he shouted he still showed his ability to fly better than anyone else in there with him before shouting, "Then be quiet and let me think!"

Unaware of it, a suited being was flying towards the crab Xenecromorph, and out of its back were pronged limbs.

Suddenly, they heard screeching and roaring on the monitor, as well as the sounds of slashing and cutting like crazy.

Hearing what is going on Joshua asked, "What the hell?!"

"Is it Adam?" Rei asked, looking up.

"Impossible, he's able to do a lot of things but even he can't breathe in space." Joshua said while trying to knock off what's on there.

"Can you let us both in? This crewmate has a limited supply of O2 as it is," Campbell's voice spoke from the boat's coms, surprising the two organics.

Joshua asked, "That you captain? I'd check with my PIC, but I need both hands to fly this thing."

Rei went and opened the door for the captain. Campbell stepped in, but was now wearing a silver and green suit... that slithered off and reformed into DRU next to him, as the airlock sealed up and both walked in, with the captain breathing, "I was almost a goner. Until this fellah turned into a personal SIG suit for me."

"Welcome back, guys." Joshua said as he kept flying the ship to their destination, "Enjoy your spacewalk?"

"Not really," Campbell replied.

DRU nodded, "It was less than pleasant."

Rei was at the controls as she replied, "At least we still have our captain and adapter. It should make it easier to access the Gravity Drive."

While he was piloting Joshua asked, "So where's your ship? I wanna see this Gravity Drive in action."

"We managed to park it at the Colony landing pad," Rei replied. "Hopefully it should still be there and in one piece."

"If we can hook up the Stabilizers and have them slingshot us up, we'll be able to get the Falcon in space," Ernesto replied.

"Just so you know, before we split off Adam gave me orders to make sure that the Colony's safe, especially after he said how the teams down in the colony were reported to being slaughtered down here. Right Captain?"

"Right lad." Campbell said, remembering what was happening in the colony before the Xenecromorphs showed up on the ship.

"Plus we haven't heard back from the two Legionaries that were sent to investigate there since this began." Joshua said before picking up his sword and holstering it on his back.

"We might not have time to deal with that. We'll be in a rush," Campbell replied.

Rei then pointed out, "Joshua. If you want, you and Ernesto can look on ahead. DRU and I will be needed to activate the Gravity Drive."

Ernesto waved his only hand, "Nah, I'm good. 'Sides, I've got a new toy I've been meaning to try out on these shcmucks."

Joshua raised a brow under his helmet and shrugged, "So go and get your ship ready." he said drawing his sword and being on guard for those with him. Ernesto ran over to the ship and was getting ready to install the Gravity Stabilizers to launch them onto through the orbit. Joshua kept watch as he looked around, remaining on guard in any direction for surprise attack.

Meanwhile

The Engine Room

DRU was working fast to install the Gravity Drive as the new ships' power source as well as a means of accessing the navigation drive, with Rei helping as best she could. Currently, she was installing the navigational map she took from the Creator's ship. But it was proving rather crazy to try and download it all into its limited storage.

Campbell came over and asked Rei, "How's it looking?"

"We're almost finished, but the problem is that there's not enough memory on the ship's main drive for the maps." Rei replied. "My suit and my databanks could handle it, but I don't have a bio tank to hook into it automatically."

"What would you need," DRU asked, as he finished installing the Gravity Drive in the center of the main engine.

"I would need it set up in the bridge and allow myself to connect to the ship, like a bio droid can with a public access mainframe computer."

Hearing that by hacking their coms, Joshua asked, "Won't that fry your circuits? Believe I'd hate to be the one who told Adam you did that to yourself."

Rei would practically see her surrogate brother's face if that outcome were to come, but she refocused on what needs to be done. Rei steeled her resolve, as she replied, "Everyone has risked their lives to ensure this mission goes as planned," Rei steely stated. "And besides, my father designed me himself. I am unique."

Joshua looked and asked, "Anything you want me to say for you to anyone incase this doesn't work, lil lady?"

Rei shook her head, as she replied, "Nothing to say. Everyone will know that all I ask is that they wish me 'a good journey'."

DRU's arms branched out, as he walked to the bridge, "Once the Monolith is destroyed, and when I die, you can simply say that I chose to preserve life instead of ending it."

Joshua made "tch" sound in his helmet and said, looking for anymore threats, "Just make sure we're able to crush that stone and we'll call it even for me."

Both nodded, as they prepared to get to work rather quickly.

Back on the Ishimura

Team A worked quite well in getting rid of the Xenecromorphs that were rushing them. Most of them were cut down by the effective teamwork of both Kori and Adam taking out the majority while Vincent and Isaac took out any stragglers. Adam stretched his neck after severing the last one into four pieces and asked the Zamaranean, "Do you see anymore?"

"No, I do not, though I have yet to find the one of the crazy known as Genus," Kori implied.

He looked over and asked, "Captain Isaac, Chief Vincent, Engineer Vascuez any more of them?"

"Nothing so far. They're keeping their distances... for some odd reason," Isaac replied. But then he got flustered, as he called out, "AND WHO ARE YOU CALLING CAPTAIN?!"

"Force of habit. I meant Squad leader." Adam admitted before stating, "Why haven't they tried to come back?"

Adam then went to Misty and asked, "Engineer Vascuez, anyway to get this giant rock out of here?"

"The lifters and conveyor belts are shot," Misty replied. But then thought on it, "One of the Exo-Suit Lifters. They have Kinesis modules built into their arms to carry 10 times normal loads. I could use that to push it out."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that." Genus' voice echoed from around the deck.

Adam, recognizing the voice exclaimed, "Genus! You need to stop this!"

"Stop what? Stopping you from killing us all? All of those similar to you and I? Especially after you poisoned us..." Genus accused before he added, "When I am cured my condition, I will use the army born from the dead with this ship as my vessel and wipe the universe clean of the hypocritical human race. Hypocrites like that bastard..."

Soon all five members of Team A felt themselves freezing up as Genus floated down, "Legend shall speak Of Sacrifice at world's end. The wind sails over the water's surface quietly, but surely."

Adam glaring at the renegade Warrior said, "HEARTLESS again. You never do change..."

Genus smirked confidently, "And in that you know the truth about why I am doing this..."

Glancing at the non-enhanced Adam elaborated the greying Warrior's meaning, "The fact he is reciting his favorite poems is confirmation that he hasn't gone insane, and made this decision consciously..."

However, Isaac stepped up, as he shot out, "I don't care if he's human or not. He's endangering everyone. And he's in the way. And now I'm making it my choice that if he gets in my way and kills others just to use as cannon fodder, I'll kill him all the same."

Genus looked and smirked again, "Hypocrite. That's most definitely why most of you must die. Because you're in the way. I thought someone who is trying to save lives wouldn't want to kill for that reason. Are you certain that you haven't begun to fall to the Psychoceramic field?"

Adam said, "Leave him alone."

He stopped and looked back at the Monolith, "What's that?"

A moment of silence and said, "I see... So they were able to stop my programming at the computer core. No Doubt Angelo's doing. Please directed Pendleton's to the core while I reveal the truth about what make's a Warrior a Warrior."

While Genus spoke into the PIC Adam feel a pain in his head and see the same woman he saw when this began and asked, ignoring the hallucination, "Genus... Why are you doing this?"

"You know why..." Genus hissed glaring at Adam, "I do not want to die because of my condition."

Vincent struggled before she asked, "What the hell is he talking about? What is this condition he's talking about?"

"You didn't tell them?" Genus asked before giving a mock pout, "I'm hurt... Especially since you and Angelo caused it!"

"Bastardo de que estas hablando !?" Misty snapped as she kept struggling. Everyone looked at Adam for an answer.

Adam looked down but he sighed and explained, "Even the wound was superficial, his wound wouldn't heal... It was when Professor Mojo came out and told us that when the blade nicked his shoulder there it caused a piece of his ethereal energy to seep in through his wound and caused his body to begin a cellular devolution... It will slowly cause his body to degrade to a point where he will die. Proof of it is his violent outbursts, and losing pigment in his body. That's why all Warriors are must go through a mandatory medical examination before and after a mission to make sure that we are not to cause an incident that would endanger lives... It's also why we do medical exams before new warriors join the organization. To keep them from dying should their blood be incompatible with mine since I'm the first one, to increase their chances to survive the process."

Genus then said, "My condition has gotten to the point where I cannot feel pain, but my combat abilities have increased drastically... especially since I've been made into a monster by you and your accursed blood."

He smirked and said, "I have a surprise for you all."

Genus then gestured with a hand and a Xenecromorphs came crawling in as Genus spoke, "I am certain that you recognize at least two of those who made up this unique specimen. Especially as you feel your death by their hands... or claws."

Misty would see that one of them was a tripedal fusion of corpses together the corpses at the head and torso resembled her parents, fused together as it snarled. She paled, seeing the faces of her parents, "No..."

"I am afraid so. These two were in the shuttle that crashed landed in the bay before your hypocritical friend came in. The pilot was a friend of your parents before he came what you call a Slasher. That's where I found them and held them until the Monolith gave me command over them and the horde." Genus said as he went and it bowed low to the renegade Warrior, who smiled at this.

Suddenly, a shot was heard as Genus's ear was shot off, and the shooter... was Isaac.

Genus yelled in pain as he looked back at Isaac, the noise from the gun was so loud it hurt his hearing and hissed, "How are you free?! You should be frozen by my Telekinesis!"

Isaac smirked, "Looks like all your hypocrisy talk blinded you on the fact that Adam was able to shield me."

Genus glared as he said, "You are nothing but a regular human... why would he do that for you?"

"Because he's more worthy of being a hero than you are." Adam said drawing everyone's attention. and surprising Isaac.

Genus eyes widened as he turned and asked, getting more violent "HIM! HE'S worthier than ME!"

He then began to strike at Adam violently as he shouted, "I Deserve to be the next hero! Not him! He doesn't know what I had to suffer! What my father did to my mother!"

Adam' healing quickly noticed that last one and came to a conclusion as he pleaded, "Genus... tell me you didn't..."

Genus remained silent while the Tripod forced Isaac on the ground as he confessed, "Yes... the perpetrate of the Grey Murder was me."

"But why? Why kill those people!?" Adam asked, saddened by the news.

Genus then slammed his foot to the ground, causing an indent with his foot and said, "Because that bastard put my mother into a coma and he deserved it! I came home one night to tell my mother about how long I would be away when the maid loyal to the Grey Family came and told me what my bastard of a father did to her... going insane that he's the head of the family and everything he wants he gets even though he married into the family."

Looking off to the side Genus recounted, "After seeing mother's beaten and battered body lying in a bed unfitting of her... I went on the warpath and slaughtered anyone who served my father until I reached the study and killed him... Slowly and painfully."

His face became the definition of sadistic pleasure, "You could not imagine how pleasing it was to hear him screaming for his life and his vain attempts to show his superiority when I skinned him alive with the power I was born with. That's what he got when he left me to die when I gotten sick before I became a Warrior and made my mother go into a coma. And if my little brother was apart of it I would have done the same thing to him for him being jealous of me."

The way he would talk about killing his family and his younger brother would have Kori freeze, as this insane human reminded her somewhat of her older sister who betrayed her.

Genus' face remained silent as he said, "So after my retribution on my father I was able to get my mother to a hospital that was still loyal to her and promised to keep her alive and safe while I was away... but... considering that the entity of the Monolith is appearing to me in a flickering form of my mother... I do not know if she is still alive or not..."

"You mean you..." Adam asked, surprised.

Genus smirked, "Yes I can see it too but due to my intellect and perhaps your transfusion I can tell that what I see before me is but a hallucination made by it."

He looks over and asked, "I'm sorry what?"

He then said, "Don't blame me for trying to kill you. You're the one who took on the appearance of my bastard father."

Genus looked to Isaac and stated, "I am about to kill him..."

Looking back at the monolith he asked, "What? Why do you wish to speak to him?"

"How about a test? If he can survive against the latest creation, I made for you then you can speak to him and if not, you can infect him as you wish." Genus said, before smirking and approached Isaac, "I have a proposition for you. As you probably heard the Monolith wants to know why you were able to kill its puppet or herald as it called the Creator you had to face on Aegis VII. but seeing as you would go as it tries to communicate with you. I proposed to have you test your strength against this specimen."

Genus raised his hand and a new Xenecromorph arrived more humanoid but less appearing as he explained, "This is another of my creations, unlike Pendleton, it doesn't have a stasis Module so it has the pure enhancements from my own cells. Making it the first regenerator class ever. I dubbed it as the Hunter due to its purpose to hunt down its prey no matter what."

Genus then said, "I'll give you a head start... when you hear it roar that means the hunt as begun."

He then grabbed Isaac and forcefully pushed the teenager away with his telekinesis into the doorway while Kori cried out, "ISAAC!"

Genus looked over and nodded at the Hunter as it roared and went after Isaac.

Isaac shot at the legs, blowing them off at the knees. It fell over, as he shot the creature's left arm, and blew it off... and then shot its head. The creature's corpse begun to writhe as it begun to REGROW its limbs in the order he shot at it as it got up and went after him, before the head was regenerating itself, the bullet hole closing up and it's body reforming. The kid blinked, "It regenerates?" but then blanks, "How can it do that when this thing's dead?"

"Did you not hear me? I just stated that it was injected with my cells into the brain before the infector got it thereby making it a unique Xenecromorph, just like Pendleton..." Genus' voice said from his SIG's coms, "Wait... have you been ignoring what I said?"

"Seriously? That's bullcrap you said was for real?" Isaac asked a little disgusted by what he thought Genus said by 'his cells'.

"I meant DNA from my blood you gutter brained neophyte." Genus hissed before ordering, "Hunter... I want your prey exterminated with extreme prejudice."

Hearing its creator talking it roared and charged after Isaac faster with the full intent to kill him. using all four of its limbs.

Misty used a Stasis module, freezing it in place, as Isaac bolted behind it, and shot at its legs, as time returned as it fell defeated again, as Isaac shouted, "Seriously! If it spouts out more gibberish poetry than I am gonna lose it more. I cannot stomach that crap! Unless it's romance."

The Hunter keeps focused on wanting to kill Isaac. Isaac rocketed to get some distance, looking around with what he could work with. but the Hunter charged at him, slashing at him and almost getting him. However, he knocked the poor boy down on the ground, and had him pinned there, as it brought up its claw, and slashed downward by a margin of a second, he propelled himself, However, the Hunter slashed at Isaac's suit, namely the left cheek to his collar bone.

Genus smirked as he closed the coms and remarked to his captives, "Soon that hypocrite will be dead. and so, will all of you."

Isaac was looking around, and had to take this risk. He bolted for the Monolith.

Genus noticed and ordered, "Tripod."

The Xenecromorph of Misty's parents protected him as it got ready to kill Isaac. But he passed it as he just stopped close to the Monolith, as he ordered, "Come and get me."

The Hunter and the Tripod charged for the boy... but then suddenly smacked into an invisible wall. Genus glared when he saw this and shot forward, "Getaway from it!"

The others were freed as Genus was focused on getting Isaac away from the Monolith and using his telekinesis to do it.

Only for him to stop and after looking at the rock smirked, "You shouldn't have gotten close to Nazira like that boy."

Isaac soon felt an intense pain in his head. As he saw a light and a figure walking towards him. As it got closer the figure then revealed to be his mother. Isaac stopped for a moment, as he blinked, "Mo... Mom?"

"Isaac... my sweet boy. I missed you." She said smiling looking at him.

Isaac gently and slowly walked towards his mother. When in reality, he was walking towards Genus who was smiling. Knowing full well that Isaac was entrapped into the Monolith's power.

Genus smirked as he looked to Tripod, "Kill the other three. Leave Adam to me. We'll leave the boy under the spell of Nazira for now."

Adam would go to Isaac but the Hunter would get in the way snarling as Adam apported his sword to his hand and went to fight it. The Tripod suddenly made its way to Adam as well, swiping at him to keep him from distracting. Genus also knew the Tripod couldn't be harmed as it would cause psychological damage to Misty as well. And he knew Adam would never do that.

Genus looked at the Hunter who looked back at him as he pointed at the Zamaranean as it jumped against a wall and made a pounce at her snarling. Genus smirked as he aimed his gun and fired at Alissa, intentionally missing her.

"How?" Kori managed to speak out, struggling with the hunter, "How are you able to control the Xenecromorphs? You are not the Monolith! And what have you done to my Isaac?!"

Vincent took cover as she muttered, "I was wondering the same thing..."

Genus smirked, "It's because, my dear alien princess, I swore my allegiance to Nazira, the Monolith of familiar affections. When it came to me in the form of my deceased father I was about to attack, but then it spoke to me telling me about how it knows my condition and my death and promises that if I help it kill you all and get this ship to earth then it would cure me of my devolution. I accepted and we've been in this partnership since. I became what the Creator that Shepard the hypocrite faced on the planet: it's herald and caretaker."

"Then you know what it is: it exterminates all life. It' a herald of death, and nothing more," Kori pleaded out.

"And yet it didn't stop the Creators now, did it?" Genus retorted as he mused, with an eccentric smirk, "Though I do find the thought of wiping all traces of my former human life clean appealing, and from the ashes I will stand with the Monoliths as the God of the new world. Perhaps Nazira will be able to convince Isaac to join us."

Isaac, on the other hand, was still trapped in his illusion, as he also cried, seeing his mother, as he asked, "Mom?"

"Isaac." She said smiling, tearing up with him, as she went and hugged him, "I missed you so much... Can you forgive me for leaving you and Gwen all alone when went away?"

"But... why are you apologizing," Isaac asked. "I didn't go with you guys."

"Isaac it's a parent's job to help nurture their child no matter what but we chose something we didn't understand over the life we created together." She said explaining herself, "You been through rough times because of our research and it's our fault."

Isaac smiled, crying on the fact that he was seeing his mom again, and hugged her. But suddenly a flicker of red spread, showcasing death and rage. It caused him to pull back for a moment, blinking.

She looked perplexed and asked, "Isaac? What's wrong?"

Isaac then innocently asked, "Mom... what is it that you believe?"

The moment he asked, She asked, blinking confused, "What? In what way Isaac?"

Isaac asked again, "You know what I mean, Mom. This is an easy question. What do you believe?"

"I believe that we were created by the species that we dubbed as creators but what I also believe is that family's important." She answered.

Isaac then asked, "What is it that you choose to believe? When you asked me what it is that I choose to believe... what did I say?"

"What you choose to believe is what you decide." She said looking at him.

Isaac sighed, as he slouched, feeling relaxed about something, as his hand on his gun remained firm around the base of it, and smiled, "Mom?"

"Yes, sweetie," His mother asked smiling... only to look shocked as he pointed at her head.

He sympathetically smiled, as he replied, "Even as an illusion or a hallucination... you're still hard to believe." And then he fired, shattering the illusion... and the shot hitting Genus right in the back.

Genus, so focused on those before him, was not able to comprehend on how this was possible as he wheezed, from the impact of the bullet and that Isaac broke free, "Im...possible..." He fell to a knee as panted heavily as he asked, "Nazira! How did he break out!"

Isaac could see the hallucination reforming and stated to Genus, "I don't understand... this never happened to me before... except for that traitor and that earthling for the Elder One."

The hallucination became a black skeleton with black miasma and hissed, her voice becoming more distorted and evil, "How did you break free from my hold?! What are you?"

Isaac took a deep breath, as he aimed again, as he replied, "Isaac Shepard. And I have a message to your creator. Leave Earth Alone. Because when I destroy this Monolith... I'm coming. For all of you." And fired another shot.

"I am the Monolith." The entity revealed, before the bullet passed through it while it hissed, "You are strong... you should be my herald as the 'creator' before you. I sense a darkness in you, and yet you chose to spare them the fate of me and our progeny? The gall."

The entity chuckled as it goaded, "You can try and destroy me, but you will fail as The Traitor attempted eons ago... but know this. I've been inside your mind and my 'siblings' know of you now. Our followers will hunt you down and slay you and all you love. We will even be in your nightmares."

Before it disappeared from his vision, with a demonic smirk before it completely left his mind. Genus growled as he ordered, "You two! Kill them all!"

The Tripod and Hunter went to obey rushing at Isaac, as Genus struggled to get up. Adam used his enhanced speed and slashed the Hunter in half while taking out one of the tripod's legs. He then looked to Isaac and said, "Leave Genus to me, You need to snap Misty out of if we are to survive. Be the person that'll lead us out of this."

Isaac nodded, "Got it!"

Adam went to walk past the two Xenecromorphs as Adam stood over Genus.

Isaac, avoiding the other two Xenecromorphs, ran over to Misty as he slid over to her to shake her awake, "Misty! Snap out of it! Come on!"

Genus laughed a bit and looked, getting up as his wound hasn't healed, "The alpha comes to put down the rival. An age old story."

"Stop... Just stop Genus. You're need for a cure caused you to betray your warrior honor!" Adam said holding his sword up, as he said, forcing his voice steady, "You know how I feel about betrayal..."

Genus' expression became solemn before he said, "We don't deserve honor..."

Genus began to feel pain in his back as he fell to his knees clutching the metal floor as he recited, in pain, "…Heavy chains, does freeze my bones!"

And with a rapture cry that would catch attention of everyone in the room, four techno-organic elements shot out of his back before they took on the shape of butterfly wings. Adam evaded all of them as he moved away from his former best friend. Once the transformation had been completed, Genus panted heavily as he looked at them the sclera becoming black and his iris becoming bright red.

Isaac and a slowly recovering Misty blinked, as she muttered, "Whoa, dos mios..."

"Yeah, you can say that again," Isaac blinked.

Adam and those who were able to see stared at this as Genus' new technorganic wings flapped and he rose into the air, mimicking the butterfly symbol on the back of his coat as Genus said, "We Warriors are monsters. Created into existence by taking the energy of a Monolith within us and your blood is the catalyst for such a fusion."

Adam stared shocked at this, unable to believe that this could happen. Showing how he didn't know about this to the humans.

Adam only had a brief moment as he raised his sword and was pushed back a great distance as Genus walked towards him with an intense aura of murder before swinging his sword and Adam blocked each strike before the two took their battle away from the others causing their entire quarter of the ship to shake.

Isaac stumbled a bit, as he slid to Misty, and shook her, "Misty! We need you to get that LIFTOR suit," Isaac tried to snap her out of it. "I don't know if Adam can win this, but we need to the the Monolith on that slab of earth, so..."

"That thing is my parents!" Misty finally broke down, balling out.

Adam and Genus fought as they ignored the crumbling scene around them as Genus smirked as he infused his sword with his ethereal energy and struck, Adam was able to block causing another shock wave throughout the quadrant of the ship they were in to make it shake. Genus smirk widened as he gathered a great amount of his ethereal energy and tossed it at Adam who slashed at it with his sword while he kept fighting to keep Genus distracted while giving the others enough time. Though it seems like this new form gave Genus a boost in combat ability if not his Devolution condition. While he fought he kept seeing the image of the woman appear before him during the fight. Genus took this moment of distraction to collide his sword against his former friend's and pushed him through the ceiling to a floor above them as Adam slashed using his energy slashes to get at Genus, only for the monster Warrior to slash at them to disburse the energy before charging forward with a yell.

Adam refocused before the two locked blades against each other energy sparking around them as they fought.

Meanwhile

Back at the Cargo hold

Isaac managed to get Misty, who was still distraught on her feet, as he pleaded with her, "Misty, you have to get the LIFTOR."

However, Isaac was a bit shocked to seeing what her facial expression looked. She was saddened heartbroken, almost defeated, as she repeated, "But my parents..."

"I know, Misty. I know," Isaac told her, being sympathetic. "but those aren't' your parents anymore. They died. That thing... it's just reanimated mutated flesh looking like them."

The Tripod got up and roared at them as it moved to them. Vincent was looking between them as she looked to Kori while the Hunter was proving itself troublesome with its ability to regenerate.

Vincent ran over to help the Zamaranian girl, as she fired away, "Kori! Movie it!"

It turned its mutated head as it growled at her while making its way to her, regenerating from being shot at. At Kori, and snarled, as it charged right at the two ladies. The Hunter hissed as it kept going after at them slashing with its claws when it was close enough.

"Godfuckingdammit! Doesn't this fucker know when to die?" Vincent bitched, as Kori pulled her with her as she flew them both to get distance, hoping the Hunter couldn't fly. It looked at them before the angle Vincent was in, she could make out a shape that look familiar. While it crouched down and jumped after them. However, Kori with her free hand, managed to unleash a barrage of blasts that blew it in half as its carcass fell to the ground, its legs twitching like a roach cut in half, along with its upper torso flailing about.

The Tripod roared as it went after Isaac and Misty, swinging its corpse body composed leg at the pair. Not hesitating, Isaac pushed Misty out of the way, as he dodged, firing at one of its legs to get its attention. Isaac shouted, "You want me? Come and get me!"

It roared as it lashed out a proboscis tentacle-tongue, trying to harpoon him.

They heard and felt where they were shaking again before Adam came flying out from a wall. He then straightened himself in the air and landed, slid until he stopped. Falling into his knee as Genus flew in smirking. However, he noticed the Monolith and nodded before going to Isaac.

Genus stopped him and held his sword to his rival's neck, "And so ends the tail of the fallible hero…

Adam smirked, to which Genus arched an eyebrow, not looking it, as he asked, "What's so funny?"

"The fact that while you've been wasting time on me... you clearly didn't know who your real opponent was," Adam admitted.

Isaac worked fast to get the crane and conveyor belt to move the Monolith, all while staying in its proximity using a remote. The Tripod didn't dare to get close to damage the Monolith, its source and life, and it's master and curse. This gave Misty, how had snapped out of it, to bolt right to the Engineer equipment area to grab something.

Genus turned and gaped before flying off at Isaac shouting, "NO! Get away from there!"

Seeing that he's the only one able to get close he ordered, Blood coming out of his mouth, "Hunter! Tripod! stop that girl! Kill her!"

The hunter hearing the name turned and saw Misty as he went to kill her as did the Tripod while their master would stop the boy. Adam tried to stop them but he sees the hallucination again.

However, an orange and red blur smashed into the two Xenecromprhs and powerfully threw them both away from anyone. Once the dust settled, Kori floated in the air, her eyes glowing, as she threatened Genus and his creations, "Leave them alone."

Genus looked and stated, "Nazira told me about you, how you were experimented by her herald as an alternative to Xenecromorphs... why should you help them when humans are more hypocrites than the one who blame to betray you and your people?"

Adam kept still as he looked like he was fighting his hallucination.

"Because Isaac is an example of their better nature," Kori replied as she glared at Genus, "... you Hypocrite."

Genus gritted his teeth as he went to attack her with his sword, "You witch!"

He swung his sword at her as he exclaimed, "YOU don't know what it is like to be raised in expectation of great things before something happened and made everyone turn on you especially your parents! You're like my brother! Jealous of my talent and standing! Waiting for a chance to take what was not promised to you!"

He infused his sword with his ethereal energy as it increased his attack power on her.

"And you're like Kenneth! Picking on other when you lose your temper," Isaac shouted, as he fired at Genus, hitting his shoulder.

"That brat is like my brother expecting everything to be handed to him." Genus said not stopping to cover his wound as to prove the point he made that he can't feel pain anymore. He then went and focused his energy into his sword before slashing it at her, in an archway.

Kori dodged it, but she kept going, "Isaac is nothing as you have believed him to be. He is selfless, never wanting of anything for personal gain. The only things he ever wanted is the friends and his parents. He believes that he is not able to have the former, but he does. I am his friend!"

'Kori,' Isaac thought, hearing that, as he continued to push the Monolith out of range, even with the Tripod following without being able to get him being in the barrier of the Monolith.

Genus gritted his teeth as he was about to attack before looking back at the Monolith and narrowed his eyes before he promised, "This is not over..."

Turning to the Tripod and Hunter he ordered, "Kill every in this room and every human in this ship! Make them die! Send them into the vacuum if you must!"

He then swung his sword upwards and made a hole with debris falling as he flew upwards and escaped while the Hunter went to crush the controls that kept the doors closed hoping to destroy them as the Tripod went rushing at Kori.

Suddenly, a massive white and brown mechanical hand slapped the Tripod out of Kori's way. Kori blinked, as she saw a massive exosuit with arms five times bigger than the body, the boots armored up, and the helmet being a scuba dome of sorts with six blue eyes.

And then as the Tripod was getting back on to its feet, Misty's voice spoke up, "Get away from her, you BITCH!"

The Tripod roared as it went to fight the human in the exo-armor. Vincent groaned holding her head as she got up and looked around before seeing the hunter and called to Kori, "Hey Princess! try and get that thing away from there before we're all spaced!"

Kori nodded, "Understood." Her eyes glowed brightest, as she took off, her fists glowing with power, as she slammed powerfully into it like a battering ram with a rocket pushing or propelling it. The Hunter's jaw was shattered but it looked at her and made an motion like it was snarling before trying to kill her. However, Kori countered, as she built up a lot of energy in her right hand and blew off an immense powerful blast that engulfed its left arm. It roared, as it stumbled back. Its left arm reduced to a burnt it should have grown back, it stuttered and seemed unable to do so.

That gave Kori the realization, "You cannot regenerate burnt tissue. Meaning you have a limit to how much you can regenerate from."

It hissed at her, like it agreed with her, before using its remaining arm to try and cut the burnt part of it off his body to regrow it again. Sensing the fact, it was intelligent Kori knew she needed to finish it before it could make a fresh wound to regrow itself from.

She flew back as she charged an even bigger ball of energy, and then cried out, as she unleashed it, engulfing its entire body in the massive blast, that flew across the deck, and lit up a trail in empty space. The Hunter roared in pain before collapsing as it turned to Vincent and hissed, almost liked speaking as the tongue made out, "c-caaappppttttaaaaiiiinnnn..."

Before its eyes went dim as most of its body was burnt now. While from it came warped and darkened dog tags dropped from its body. The same ones that Vincent's team had along with their SIGs. Vincent cautiously approached and looked at them as she saw that they were Dobbs' tags. When the creature finally turned to dust, Kori's eyes stopped glowing and returned to normal. She collapsed onto her knees, fatigued from unleashing such massive power upon it. She felt someone approaching and saw Vincent joining her as she went to Kori and said, "You did good kid."

Pocketing Dobbs' tags while looking at the last remaining Xenecromorph and how Adam seemed frozen for some reason, "You wanna help your boyfriend while I help Vanqeuz?"

Kori got on her legs, wobbling, as she nodded, "I shall try."

They saw a shadow over them as Adam said, "Let me help her with that, Chief Vincent."

He then offered Kori his hand and asked, "Shall we Mon Cher Princess?"

Kori nodded, "Yes. Let us help..." but then her face grew in concern and worry, as she screamed, "ISAAC!"

Both looked and saw Isaac managing to push the mOnolith off the platform of the Ishimura's ship... but sadly a cable wrapped around his leg and took him with it. just as he was about to pulled out, his arm was grabbed by Adam, who saw this and leapt forward with more speed than any thought he had as he seemed to have disappeared and appeared before he grabbed Isaac before he was pulled out, "I got you, Isaac!"

Unfortunately, something pulled at Isaac harder, as he was sent falling down onto the hauled slab of Aegis 7 along with the Monolith, crashing down on it, as the boy groaned, "Ugh... Seriously?"

Next to Isaac, floating nearby was a pair of sunglasses, that looked very familiar...

Back on the Ship

Adam growled as he clenched his fist. The Tripod hissed as it knocked Misty away before approaching the supposed distracted Warrior. Fury took his mind as Adam turned around, drawing his sword and slashed at it, cutting the leg clean through before took his battle stance and everyone could finally see his eyes. They were fiery crimson like the other warriors, but their pupils were thin like a cat's as he stared out at all of them, unaware that he was missing his glasses to hide his eyes.

Misty asked, "Hey, Where's Shepard?!"

"Focus on this creature first then we can worry about Isaac." Adam said, giving Misty a look that made her want to do as she was told due to how angry he was that the team leader slipped through his grasp.

Adam then said to the Tripod, a feeling of dread flowing out of him seems to make the Xenecromorph transfixed on the enhanced as Adam said, coldly, "And now you die..."

But suddenly, Misty rushed in, tacked the Tripod as she ran with it over to the edge, and fell down towards the Aegis 7 slab with the Tripod, as she tried out, "DAMMIT, SHEPARD! ISAAC, YOU IDIOT!"

Adam's eyes were half-lid as he went and asked, "Did they forget there's nearly no atmosphere on the slab?"

He went into his coat, pulling out a flexible glass like mask that was designed to go over the eyes, chin, and ears while a strap keeps it over his head and going over said, respectfully to Kori, "Princess I request you remain here with Chief Vincent, she may need your help to get back to where either Team B or the Bridge is."

He then used his PIC to activate the system of his suit before jumping after the two.

Isaac got up, but his suit was leaking air, as due to the cut. Pulling out something from his tool belt, he sprayed on some kind of sealant adhesive, sealing up the air, as he spotted Misty crash down, tearing the Tripod in two, and throwing the pieces aside, as he ran over, "Misty! What the heck?"

"What the heck is wrong with you?! You don't go doing something that stupid like what you did," Misty shot back.

Isaac, getting fed up, he angrily shot back, "I got caught by a cable line! You try getting out of that situation!"

"Oh shut up, Sheepy!"

"You shut up! I don't know why I bothered being your friend when we started out in grad school."

They heard something land as Adam stand up from his miles feet drop as he asked, "Shepard are you unharmed?"

Looking at Misty, Adam narrowed his eyes through his mask while his hair blows after him as he walked over to the girl, "That was reckless what you did! Why did you jump from the ship?! You could have gotten hurt!"

Misty, while still in the LIFTOR suit, jabbed at him with her massive finger, "Can it, WARRIOR! You let Isaac go! What hero does that?"

Isaac ignored the fight and the reason why Misty was so defensive all of a sudden, and then paled at what he was looking at, "Uh, guys...?"

HIs eyes constrict more and said, having enough strength to push her LIFTOR armor's finger away, "I didn't LET him go he slipped and I was going to go after him until you jumped out ahead of me!"

"Uh, guys...?"

"Don't give me that crap! You're supposed to be a super-soldier, a hero, Pendejo! YOU COULDN'T KEEP YOUR GRIP!"

"Uh, guys...!?"

"Are you calling me a liar?" Adam narrowed his eyes at this, before he took a composed himself and said, "Well at least I am not a bully who likes judge people and pick on them because of how they appear and what someone they know believes in. But I do not expect a Bruja to understand considering how you have acted towards Shepard since training. Tell me how many times did I have to tell your trainer about your abuse of him and how you almost got away with it?"

"THAT WAS YOU!?" Misty screamed glaring at the warrior, remembering all the talking to she had with her trainer, when she was training for this very mission.

Isaac was surprised at what was happening before shouting, "GUYS!"

Both turned and asked, Misty exclaimed, while the enhanced warrior calmly answering, "WHAT!?/What?!"

Isaac pointed in front, as the two saw what he was trying to get their attention for.

Dead corpses were emerging from the rubble, splitting and mutating, but not forming Xenecromorphs, but more like... body parts. They were slinking and connecting together, making mass with itself, as it was taking size and shape. The corpses from exact appearance, apparently were fossilized Creators. Even the former Tripod was being pulled in to make material for it. Once it was done, the others blinked at the sight.

The creature was nearing 25 feet in height but 50 feet in length, even with its huge tail with barbed tips on all around it. Its legs were hind but attacked by tendons of muscle far apart from the joint, with bone claws. Its structure was that of a T-Rex, but having two huge arms scrawny but fiercely powerful with bone claws of their own, even bones jutting out of the shoulders and elbows. Its head was along smooth shaft with a mandible mouth in front, and empty eye sockets.

"What monstrosity is this?" Adam asked, glaring at the beast. Apporting his sword to him just in case.

Isaac cocked his gun, as he shook his head, "Don't know, but it's the last obstacle between us and ending this."

Misty reached the palm cannons, as she grumbled, "Where the heck is that ship? Shouldn't it be here?"

"Focus on the creature in front of us, not what our allies are doing." Adam said as he was the first to attack by firing a gun at the creature.

"As long as that Monolith's still in one piece, we'll never be done with it," Misty pointed out. "WE NEED THIS FREAKIN' SHIP!"

Adam ignored her as he kept firing at the creature while taking notes of the structure of the creature to look for any weak points. Isaac and Misty fired along with him, taking this thing on. However, it just stood there and hissed. As he was reloading his gun, Adam gritted his teeth as the corpses began to begin to turn black while it looked like it was waiting for something.

The creature's back opened up, as tendril webbing launched at the Monolith. It latched on and yanked it up, as it was shot right at its back, reeled in. It then became embedded into it, as it became basically the hart. It then moved as it roared out and charged at them.

Adam slashed at it, sending energy arches at it to buy them time. As he fought, he hissed, feeling the hallucination coming back as he sees the woman again reaching out for him as he slashed at it before jumping high into the air, he opened a Coms to Isaac, "Shepard, that thing's trying to get in the way again... It's making me see a hallucination."

"This thing isn't the threat! The Monolith is on its back," Isaac shouted.

"Going for the easy target?"

And soon Genus flew in as he stated, "Such a hypocrite if you do not plan to get rid of all of them, especially cowardly of you."

Adam hearing the voice asked, "Genus?" Before it made swipe at the alpha Enhanced with its claw.

Looking up he asked, "Is it not Elegant? This is the queen who birthed all Xenecromorphs to protect their Monolith. The mortiplasm used to give create us also gave birth to this creature by Nazira. Unlike the others who mixed with the host DNA to make their hive, this is the purest one, and Nazira's heir."

"It's just the Queen Ant or Termite. WE kill that, the others fall," Isaac replied. "Like you said. It's a perfectly evolved organized system. And perfectly organized if all we have to do is just kill this one."

"It will not let you and if you destroy Nazira before it, then it will become the new Nazira." Genus then grinned and stated, "You are a fool not entrusting yourself to the proof of a being that is greater than yourself."

"And you're a fool in trusting an illusion made from a creature that doesn't care if your loyal or not," Isaac replied. "That thing was designed for the sole purpose to end life. All life. Not just the ones that you deem are corrupt."

Genus grinned at that and said, "And you think I care about anything else after being shown the hypocrisy from my family. Nazira ensured me that my survival is guaranteed as their herald."

Isaac then remembered what Genus said about the corrupted warrior's mother, how she was in critical condition because of her husband when she refused to do what he wanted.

"I get it! But not all families are like yours, Genus," Isaac shot back. "Not all of them toss aside family members who aren't physically abled, like you, or your mother!"

That made Genus stiffen before he used his telekinesis to lift Isaac up and hissed, "You don't understand." He then slammed Isaac to the ground and said, "That showed the entire race is flawed and needs to wiped away!" He then went lifting his arms up, exclaiming with a smile, "And then I'll make every planet with humanity on it burn as a pyre for Valliance Genisis Grey!"

Genus was so enwrapped by his declaration that he let slip his real name.

But as the Queen was fighting Adam and Misty, Isaac managed to groan out, "After my mom gave birth, she couldn't have a 2nd child. Nor any more child after me. Her womb and Uterus was damaged beyond what our science could do for her." Genus stopped as he heard this. "My father stayed with her, even when she fell at her worse. Not out of pity but because he genuinely loved her. The real reason why she sought out the Creators was that if they could create life for a planet. Maybe they could try and help her where we failed."

"They sound really lovely..." Genus said, surprising Isaac before stating seriously, "My mother told me that bastard married into the Grey family due to our reputation and how we were able to keep together for centuries."

He then pulled his flintlock pistol and aimed it at Isaac, "Adam and Angelo were my only friends, but it's too late to change anything, especially after all the lives I've ruined and corrupted. The only way is to continue forward on the path I've followed, especially as I've committed a sin that Adam would never forgive. You heard it when he refused to call me by my human name, the name I shed when I evolved into what you see before you, before my devolution began."

Pulling the lock back, Genus recited, "My soul, corrupted by vengeance Hath endured torment, to find the end of the Journey. In my own salvation and your eternal slumber."

He prepares to pull the trigger, his face showing no joy in this.

Suddenly, barrages of green bolts shot at them all, down pouring like rain. They struck the Queen as it shrieked, a crack on the Monolith was formed from the shots, and even clattering around Genus, as Kori flew like a bullet as she roared, "LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

Adam crash landed near where Isaac was before getting up, breathing heavily, he said, "Shepard... call your ship, idk how good of a warrior your princess is, but with his sword and in the style of fencing, Genus is unmatched."

Isaac nodded before he went to call and see how Team C are doing.

As if sensing what they were doing, the Monolith sent out an increased output of its Psychogenic targeting both Adam and Isaac causing them both to feel pain while pushing them to the ground. Adam then got up and walked as if he was a puppet on a string before standing over Isaac, his eyes glazed over as he looked over at Isaac, "Now you die human..."

Raising his sword up the possessed warrior was about to swing it down on her while Misty saw and tried to reach them when something unexpected happened. Adam's left fist connected with his face. And kept it pressed into his face while his space mask began to form cracks from the force of the self-slugging.

Isaac stared in shock before Adam hissed, defiantly, "I... will not... obey!"

Soon both young men could see the same hallucination for some reason as the woman that Adam had been seen appeared and exclaimed, "How dare you resist me! Your mother! If you do not kill him then you will never get the revenge that you've longed for all these years! I can give you the truth you've sought for all your life."

"Whether or not what you say is the truth, I will fight as I always have. I will even sacrifice my soul to ensure that justice for those lost because of your evil..." Adam denied before shouting, "Now... GET! OUT! OF! MY! MIND!"

"This can't be!" the hallucination screamed as it shattered like a mirror. This in turn caused the Hive Queen to scream in pain, disorienting it as it looked around blindly for its pray.

"Mios Dios..." Misty exclaimed looking at both of them while Adam walked forward and his sword's blade seem to be glowing with the same color as his eyes as he held his sword in a stance as he said to both humans, "By me a little time... I'm going to decimate it."

Misty's palm blasters warmed up, as she smirked underneath the LIFTOR's cockpit, ""Leave it to me."

Adam nodded and continued to focus, what he needs to do to something so large requires a lot of focus and time.

Meanwhile Genus and Kori fought above them. Genus kept swinging and thrusting his sword in a manner that was indeed elegant to the Zamaranean princess. However, it seemed that she was vastly fast and easy to dodge the blows thrown at her. In fact, he thought she was just lucky, but apparently for a girl who seemingly looked naïve, she seemed rather skilled in combat. Genus seeing this narrowed his eyes at her and holstering his gun said to Kori, "Impressive, no one has ever stopped Legacy before. You really are a force to be recon with."

"You may want to try and return home... that is if you have a home to return to." There was a clear sign of malice in his words as if he knew what happened to Kori's planet from what the Monolith revealed to him. He used this moment of doubt to attack with his ethereal energy attack.

However, using her energy, she made a block capable of pinning him in place. Her holding his sword between her hands, as she grunted, "Isaac promised me he would help me return home when this was over. What are you of the implying?"

"The herald under Nazira, my predecessor is not known to leave resistance around for long." He grinned deviously as to shake her confidence that Zamaran is still full of her people. He then used his ethereal energy as a sphere in his free hand before shooting it at her.

However, a piece of rock shot at the energy, thrown kinetically, as energy sphere struck the rock instead of Kori. Genus looked down, as he saw the boy fuming, who shouted out, "ENOUGH! Stop cowering behind your god of death! Why not try to take down the guy you want to kill?! The one to be the next hero! ME!"

Genus narrowed his eyes at the boy before pushing Kori away and stated, "As you wish... but without Adam to aid you, you are as good as dead..."

He then flew down at Isaac shouting, "You are such a hypocrite! SHEPARD!"

"Bring it on, Genus!" Isaac roared back as he got ready to fight.

Genus infused his sword with his energy while slashing at Isaac. Isaac however used his Kinesis module as a shield as a force of kinetic blast shielded him from the slash, as he dodged another slash with its rockets. Genus noticed and remarked, "A Kinesis module... how quant. You know it was my natural ability that allowed Wayward to make these sham limited copies of my power."

He then went and fired his flintlock pistol at the boy. Isaac smirked under his helmet, as he complimented, "Well, thank you for this edge."

Genus growled before showing his might by using his telekinesis to slam Isaac to the ground.

Isaac still used his Kinesis module to try and manage to force it as best he could.

Genus smirked as he asked, "How do you like me using only 10 percent to your 25 percent of power?"

Isaac grunted, "Wow, someone likes to show off."

"Not showing off, a matter of fact is, after I became a Warrior, my Telekinesis grew stronger." He said before showing him as he pushed back more, causing Isaac's SIG to show that the Module he has is losing integrity strength.

Unable to move, Isaac took his right hand and set his blaster's plasma to overload without Genus knowing about it, "Bet that puts a lot of strain on you, doesn't it?"

"It would if I was levitating myself, but now I have these elegant and magnificent wings, it is not that much of a problem anymore." He confessed, before he suspected something wrong and asked, "Why?"

Isaac pointed upward... as a giant ship-sized shadow loomed over the slab of an arena that they were on.

Genus looked up and asked, "What... is that?"

Kori lit up as she realized what it was, as they both said, "It's the Falcon./It is the Falcon!"

And sure enough, it was the Falcon, being carried up in to space via the gravimetric probes turned into makeshift boosters to defy the atmosphere. And at the nose of the ship was DRU, as he was crouched on it, as he radioed on the inside, "Captain. I spotted the Monolith on the target slab. But I also see Shepard, And'rz, Vascuez, and Spartan Wesker there as well."

"Do you see that damn rock as well?" Campbell asked as he looked everything over while making sure their ship was above the center of slab.

DRU looked and answered, "Affirmative, I see the monolith as well as what Spartan Wesker theorized to be the Queen of the Swarm. and... Spartan Genus?"

On the ship's command deck, freshly built and within it being covered was a naked Rei, hooked to the ship's mainframe to compensate as a navigational computer for the Gravity Drive, "Gravity Drive is up to 85 percent. 10 minutes until activation."

Joshua used the PIC to radio, "Yo, ground team, get outta there!"

Adam was finished charging as they can see his fiery crimson energy flowing as he warned Isaac and Misty, "I'm ready as well... This monster and its creator will feel the pain and sorrow of all of its victims in this one strike."

His blade was now glowing with the same color as he swung his sword, "FACE YOUR DECIMATION!"

His sword unleashes it all and the energy flowed through the air towards the queen until it connects, and the Queen gave a scream while its body began to spark and parts of it began to explode in a chain reaction. All the explosions with them made Genus lose his sword, causing it to fly and hit the ground, embedding it. From what Isaac and the others could see Adam grinned and with how his eyes are glowing it made his face look like a sinister devil, which gives some credibility to what the Devout Unitologists call him.

"Holy shit..." Misty breathed, never seeing anything like this before as more of the Queen's body exploded and broke off leaving only the torso, head and a limb left. All other body parts were completed obliterated.

The shockwave from Adam's attack as well as the explosions throughout the queen's body caused everyone around it to be pushed apart or to lose their footing. Misty and her LIFTOR fell on its back. Isaac looked over at the others, "We need to get back to the ship now!"

With that Isaac and Misty used their rockets as Adam used his Levitation power to get back to the ship. As he entered the ship, Isaac noticed someone missing and asked, paling in fear, "Where's Kori?"

"I have your amazon princess with me, Shepard... if you want her met me near Nazira." Genus' voice echoed throughout the ship.

Isaac gritted his teeth, as he shot forward, his barely fueled up boosters pushing him as fast as they could as he saw the black and red glyph covered monolith. He sees Genus standing there holding Kori still by use of his Telekinesis keeping her still while the butterfly-winged warrior said, "Good of your to join us, Shepard."

He glanced to Kori and said, "She would say hi as well, but I kept her from speaking to keep her from interrupting our talk."

However, using his Kinesis Module, Isaac propelled faster... and pulled out Genus' discarded sword from last time, as he impaled Genus' right shoulder, pushing him and Genus into the Monolith, cracking it as the blade was embedded into the structure, pinning Genus to it.

Adam then appeared and pinned Genus' other shoulder with his own sword. Given he can no longer feel any pain he said, pinned to the Monolith Nazira, "Well played... but how did you know I wouldn't have broken your future bride's neck with my telekinesis?"

"I knew you would, so I had to act fast. And besides..." Isaac replied. "Despite all your enhancements, you're still flesh and blood. Meaning your body still reacts to pain. And the mind can only do so much. Even one as advanced as yours. Even so... the body can only hold so much before expiring."

Genus looked at both of them the one who did not give into Nazira's Hallucination like many others had done, while the other will not fall to the same condition as he did as he recited, "There is no hate but joy, for you are beloved by the goddess. Hero of the dawn, Healer of Worlds."

"But you forget I still hold your princess hostage. I can easily break her neck or rip out her heart with a thought. So, you either can let me go and lie that myself, Nazira, and the Queen has escaped or you can watch her die." Genus said smiling, "This the only chance to save your blushing future bride. Or do you want to suffer as I have? So what now?"

Adam glared as he said, "I would say shoot the traitor but his telekinesis can stop any and all bullets heading his way."

Genus smirked, as he taunted, "What will you do, eh?"

Kori struggled, against the invisible force, as she pleaded, her voice straining as the force was preventing her from breathing properly, "Do... do not do it... Isaac."

Isaac stood there, his hand still on the blade, as he took a deep breath, as he apologized, "I'm sorry... Valiance Genesis Grey!"

Genus stopped as he thought, his face full of surprise, feeling that Isaac was addressing the part of him that was once human, 'My... name...'

"Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul, pride is lost, wings stripped away, the end is nigh." Genus recited with a genuine smile.

Before he suddenly exclaimed his face full of sadistic hatred, "DON'T APOLOGIZE, HYPOCRITE!"

He then laughed hysterically after that. The state of his face and how heartlessly he laughed made it clear to Isaac that he can't be reached or saved. Gritting his teeth, Isaac took his plasma pistol... and fired a barrage of rounds into Genus's head, under his jaw. Genus kept laughing with that demented smile of his before his blood, which had turned black as a result of his transformation, gushed out and his head hung. Kori was freed from Genus' hold as a sign he was dead.

Adam narrowed his eyes at this he saw his vision blurring. He looked at himself and wondered, 'Why would I cry… for a traitor?'

Isaac's labored breathing was heard, as his hand shook while still holding the gun. He kept pulling the trigger, even though there wasn't a charge at it at all anymore. He just stood there, clocking an empty gun.

Adam wanted to make sure that Genus was killed but he looked and said, "Isaac, we must return to the ship."

There was no response, even with Misty and Kori making their way to him. Adam tried to snap him out of it, but no luck. Until Kori placed her hand on the hand that held the gun, as she gently spoke, "Isaac. We must go."

His head hung down, as the hand with the gun lowered, as the guns till stayed in his hand, while Kori's was still atop his, almost like holding him like a lifeline.

Until finally, Isaac nodded, "Yeah. Who knows when the Monolith will bring them both back to life?"

"After he failed his supposed patron, that the monolith won't resurrect him. Traitors like him deserve to suffer fates worse than this..." Adam said looking hatefully at his former friend, his eyes still glowing to show his anger.

"Hey, Adam," Misty replied. As she handed his sunglasses, "You dropped these."

Adam caught his glasses before gasping and covering his eyes, trying to not be scared, and hissed, "Don't you dare tell anyone you saw my eyes..."

"Excuse me," DRU replied. "The ship is in need of this epidemic to end right now. Perhaps you should get out of Ground Zero before it's gone."

Adam then grabbed the shades and levitating them to the Falcon's docking area before landing in it. He then apported his sword back to his location from where it held Genus there. Once they were on board, the familiar hum of the Gravity Drive activated. Suddenly, in the center of the planet cork, bolts of power arose, as the tear was suddenly made happen. And with it, an artificial mini black hole erupted, slowly sucking the cork into its event horizon, crushing it all in its force, and then the Queen was being hauled in.

The moment the Monolith was taken into the black hole Both Isaac and Adam could hear a blood curdling scream that echoed in their minds. DRU could also feel a pain in his chest as the Monolith was being crushed by the Black hole.

Throughout the Ishimura all of the surviving Xenecromorphs had begun to fill with an energy until they exploded, leaving nothing behind. The Warriors on the ship also felt as they clutched their ears tightly while the Xenecromorphs begun to die. One by one the Warriors fell to their knees or passed out from being unable to stand it.

Angelo, while with Team B, yelled in pain holding his ears.

The pain was greater for the war hero and the young engineer who literally resisted the Monolith as though it was because they were the last to damage it. The pain of this psychic assault caused the two of them to pass out while they last thing they see were symbols. Isaac faintly heard his name being heard by his friend around him.

While the crew was tending to the two who passed out none of them noticed something speeding away from Aegis VII with all speed. Thought it could faintly look like an escape pod.
