This is a Touya-is-reincarnated-Harry story. Blame Yuko for that!

Chapter One: The Surprise Invitation

Sakura Kinomoto was an ordinary girl. Well, as ordinary as a recently fledged magical girl could be. However recently what she thought she knew about her own family, particularly her brother, had been thrown into question. It all started when Touya handed her an envelope addressed to her.

"What's this?"

"Your invitation. Been waiting for this day for months," said Touya.

Sakura opened it...and out fell a special badge along with a letter.

"Dear Kinomoto-san,

In accordance to the agreement made when we signed on your brother as the new Captain of Japan's National Team, we are honored to accept you into..." Sakura stared at the letter as she read the next lines in shock... "The Nadeshiko Academy for Young Sorcerers."

"Nadeshiko Academy is one of Japan's best schools for new magic users, and it's nearly impossible to get into. I had to play for two years before they would even consider you, and even then they almost wouldn't let Tomoyo in," said Touya.

"Is this for real?"

Touya nodded.

"You know that 'special school' I got to every other day?"

Sakura nodded. At least three times a week Touya went to a special cram school instead of his multiple part time jobs. Occasionally he went out of country for the school, though she had no idea what he did.

"I go to the Clamp School for Magic, a smaller school that allows students to commute from home and still attend normal school. I got scouted for the National Team about three years ago and they agreed to see if they couldn't get you and Tomoyo-chan into the Academy," said Touya.

"Touya-nii, why didn't you say anything sooner?"

"And miss the look of shock and excitement on your face when you found out that you would be learning real magic, not whatever you've been using for the past few months? Which reminds me, I need to have a...word...with a certain plushy in your room about stealing my games without asking."

Sakura looked even more shocked that Touya knew about Kero. Still, if he was aware of Kero then that meant the plushy might be allowed out in the house more often.

"Kyuu!"

With was Touya's pet, though he stayed just as often in Sakura's room as he did Touya's. Kero though didn't really like him because if there were any desserts made with strawberries, then With tended to go after them before he had a chance to get any!

Touya picked up his rabbit and set on his little spot on the table. With immediately dove into the bowl of strawberries that was always left out for him.

"Um...should I bring Kero-chan downstairs?" asked Sakura.

"Go for it. I've been waiting for the letters to go out so we can finally put an end to those late-night adventures of yours for months," said Touya.

Sakura winced. She had thought she was being sneaky...apparently not.

Touya and Kero had a real stare down...until Touya finally said flatly "I catch you sneaking into my room again to steal video games, and we're going to have a problem. Are we clear, little lion?"

Kero blinked.

"How did you know I'm a lion?"

"Long story. The next time you want to borrow some of my games, ask first. And quit saving over my game files!" said Touya. That had been his biggest pet peeve... Sakura's new familiar kept erasing his files to save his own!

Touya had recently bought a new game card for the familiar to use instead of his. He hoped that would end that problem.

"So how long have you been a magus?" asked Kero, sitting on the table.

"For about seven years. I've been the captain of the Japanese National Quidditch team for three," said Touya.

"The Japanese Rising Kaiju?" blinked Kero.

"We've won the World Cup two years running," said Touya proudly.

"Which position you play?" asked Kero. He was a bit of a Quidditch nut... Clow used to take him to games.

"Seeker."

Kero whistled.

"Your hand-eye coordination must be phenomenal!"

"I've been rated best Seeker in the Asian League," said Touya smugly.

Yukito walked in, answering questions from an excited Tomoyo...she had recently gotten the same invitation Sakura had.

"You tell them about the tickets yet?" asked Yukito.

"Tickets?" asked Sakura.

"Since you're finally old enough to attend the Academy, I figured it was more than past time to use those tickets that all the players get to bring friends and family to the games. And the Quidditch World Cup is in a month. I have two tickets and Yukito has one as well."

Part of the perk package for the National players were free tickets for family members. The Captains got an extra one if they lead the team to the finals.

Touya had never brought anyone to the games, mostly because he didn't want to be grounded by his father for all the insane stunts he tended to pull, but this year was different.

He wanted to show off for his little sister.

"So you're finally bringing the 'little Kaiju' to the game?" asked Tojiro.

Touya was always talking about his little sister Sakura, or as he liked to call her the 'little Kaiju'. The team was eager to finally meet her.

"She got accepted into the Nadeshiko Academy this year," said Touya proudly.

It was well known that Touya had accepted a smaller initial sign-on bonus in exchange for his sister's name to be considered for the prestigious Academy. It wasn't until he had helped the team win the World Cup twice in a row that her name was all but guaranteed to be on the short list for new students.

Tomoyo got in because of her mother's influence, after she ran into Touya and he told her about it.

"Right. Now we have a good idea who we're going to be dealing with. Bulgaria is big and bulky, but the biggest threat is Krum," said Touya, getting down into their strategy session. Yukito sat nearby...he was their reserve for most positions, though they had to get someone else to be Beater because he couldn't hit the bludger as hard as they needed.

"What threat is that? Krum's got nothing on the great Seiryuu!" laughed one of the chasers.

Touya's nickname among the team was Seiryuu, after they found out that his animal form was a large Asian dragon. Yukito had his own nickname...the Graceful Moon, because of the large number of moon runes on his broom and the way he flitted about like a bird while flying.

"Yes, but he'll likely do some of the attacks while he's trying to find the snitch. We all know he's big and bulky, but what he lacks in speed he makes up for in ramming power. And let's not forget that they'll be trying to take me out because of my habit of 'looking' for the Snitch in areas that have the greatest chance of the opposing Chasers slam into me if they don't stop."

Touya's best play wasn't actually looking for the Snitch itself. He could usually find it in about five minutes or less, and spent the game pretending to look for it from above. The thing he liked to do was pretend to spot the snitch, then dive bomb like a hawk and block the opposing chasers from getting too close to the goals and giving his team the chance to steal the ball.

It was a sneaky trick, one that was perfectly legal so long as he made every show of chasing the snitch.

It was also why he had a safety measure in the form of his familiar, With.

The other teams always tried to take him out first, sometimes even attempting to throw him off his broom. As long as he had With, the flop-eared rabbit who spent most days eating fruit while lazing about the house, he didn't need to worry about cracking his head open.

He was considered the team's good luck charm because his presence had saved Touya's life on more than one occasion because the other team got a little too rowdy on the field.

It was only allowed because With was Touya's registered familiar and he only came out if Touya had been knocked off his broom first.

The team settled down as Touya outlined his game plan. Then he brought up another matter.

"Now as you all know, we tend to really bring in the fans at these things. Since this is my sister's first ever Quidditch game, I want to really make this year special," said Touya.

The team grinned. Touya might not admit it, but he was a bit of a showboat...and the fans loved it. He was called the Daring Dragon for some of the insane stunts he pulled on his broom.

"What did you have in mind?"

"I say...we bring out the Kaiju and make it rain flowers out of a large egg about the size of the one Mothra sleeps in," said Touya.

Yukito blinked before he snorted in amusement. He was going to give the English a good scare and surprise his sister.

"You want us to bring Gojira to the English?" asked Tojiro, not sure if he was hearing this correctly.

Gojira, or Godzilla as the Western folk called him, did in fact exist. He was just kept on a reservation far, far out into the ocean so he didn't actually destroy Tokyo...again...for the umpteenth time. Fortunately he tended to sleep in a lot and he hadn't been seen in over a decade.

"No, I want to bring a copy of Gojira. You know how they act around dragons over in Europe...can you imagine the shock they'd get out of seeing him? And that's before he uses his atomic breath!" said Touya grinning evilly.

Touya, for some unknown reason, hated England. He hated the British Ministry, he hated the schools and he most definitely could not stand wizards. Which was rather baffling because outside of the matches, he had never stepped one foot on English soil.

So the team discreetly kept their captain away from the British, and things stayed quiet...well, except for last year when Xing Yu of the Li clan made some rather derogatory comments about Touya's family, his sister in particular, after they soundly beat him.

He was lucky that Touya didn't do more than break his arm for some of his comments. As it was, Touya had recorded the entire thing so he could hand deliver it to the Li clan the first chance he had.

"So let me get this straight. You want us to get a mock-up of Gojiro to fire upon a recreation of Mothra's egg just so we can rain flowers down on the fans?" asked Tsurara, one of only two females on the team.

"Not just flowers. I want us to drop with them. Remember last year when we gave everyone a good show with that sky-diving performance?"

Everyone laughed. Several fans had nearly pissed themselves when they thought the team was falling to their deaths, only for them to un-shrink their brooms and make a double-loop of the stadium. They had gotten a severe reprimand from the coach, but he had been grinning anyway from how loud the cheers had been.

"So we're going to drop with what I'm only going to guess will be Sakura flowers and give the Westerners a real show and outdo the Bulgarians...if they beat the Irish that is," said Tojiro.

"I heard that their keeper is sick with with something. Chances are that they'll have to use their substandard replacement," said Touya.

Sakura was nervous. This was her first plane ride and they were going to an English speaking country. Next to her were Tomoyo and Syaoran (he had been invited by Yukito). Touya and Yukito were on the isle next to them, and Touya had a pair of headphones on. It was pretty clear what his plan was...he intended to sleep through the long ride.

"Remind me again why we're not taking port keys?" asked Syaoran grumbling.

Since he was from a pure-blood magical clan, he was well aware of magical travel that could cut the amount of time spent doing nothing to a fraction of a plane ride.

"One, port keys are way too expensive and they make me nauseous. Two, Sakura needed to get her passport anyway and there's no way I'm subjecting her to the European's idea of travel. Three, most magical travel is restricted to or from Europe after the last war. And four, because the only one they had was maxed out by the rest of the team," said Touya, listing the reasons why without opening his eyes.

Yukito took pity on a surprised Syaoran and explained tactfully "Touya really hates magical travel. The only one he's ever agreed with is broom-flight."

"He does have his license, right? Why doesn't he just apparate there?" asked Syaoran.

"I hate apparition more than I hate port keys, and again, most forms of magical travel are restricted. Besides, I've never been to this particular site before and I'm not splinching myself this close to a major game."

"What're apparition and port keys?" asked Tomoyo.

Yukito handed her a pamphlet. She dove into it to learn more about the world she could now share properly with Sakura. She had been thrilled to find out that the Academy had classes where she could learn to make actual magical costumes.

Kero was a bit grumpy because since Touya had busted him about his games, he had been banned from using the new memory card for an entire week as punishment for not coming out sooner.

With was currently curled up in Touya's bag, acting like a stuffed doll. At least Kero was allowed to stay out of Sakura's bag for once.

Sakura couldn't help but feel nervous. She barely knew any English and she just knew that she would mess up trying to talk to anyone.

"Relax Kaiju. Everyone on the team always casts the translation charm on all the guests. I'm the only one who's ever bothered to actually learn the language," said Touya. She pouted because of his nickname, though now it had a different ring to it.

Finding out your brother was called the 'Gojira' of the Quidditch pitch was a bit of an eye-opener after all. So were some of the other reoccurring nicknames he had gotten.
