Ruby felt like this has happened to her before.
After being picked up by the Republic, they went into space, SPACE! A day before Ruby wouldn't believe such a thing was real, but there was proof of it.
When they landed on a ship bigger than anything, the Atlas Navy could ever produce with Dust. Ruby was separated from Domino squad and instructed by Cody to disarmed herself of all weapons. Captain Rex and the Clones of Domino squad protested but countered by rank and protocol. He deemed her as an unknown and will be treated equitably if she would cooperate.
When told this, Ruby was plain tired by this point. She'd been in multiple fights against terrorists, Grimm, and robots for the last nine hours. She complied by giving back the blaster pistol Cody had given her and hesitantly gave up Crescent Rose.
Now they've stuck her in this room that made her remember her first meeting with Professor Ozpin. Even came with a single light over table and chairs. Maybe another famous person wound come in with a plate of cookies?
Ruby let out a sigh of slight frustration. Looking around outside her cell was several clone troopers standing guard. None had gone over to stare a conversation with her or interact with her for anything. She then spotted the bed in the back. Feeling like she was going to be awhile, Ruby took the chance to sleep. Too much has happened in such a short time.
"Phyrra, Penny...Beacon Academy in flames, Yang now missing her arm. Now stuck out in space fighting alongside clones against an evil robot army. What's next? Little green men speaking in riddles?" Ruby said offhandedly before hitting her bed. Blissful sleep claiming her in moments.
.
.
"That is my report, General." Cody finished.
"Good job down there, Commander," Obi-wan Kenobi said approvingly.
"Good thinking on Echo ingenuity, using the LT to destroy the base to turn off the rigged all-clear signal," Anakin Skywalker nodded to the troopers of Domino squad.
"That will be all soldiers. You're dismissed."
The four clones of Domino squad gave one last salute before exiting the Bridge.
"Now, let's address the Banntha in the room." Obi-wan turned back to the clone officers. The atmosphere changed to a serious tone. "This girl you found, Ruby Rose, where is she?"
"We currently holder her in the detention center, block D3."
Obi-wan raised an eyebrow at the clone commander. "And this warranted for one of the most secure cells we have on the ship?"
"She's dangerous, General." Cody pressed. "She took on a whole company of battle droids, displayed skills and agility I've only seen in the Jedi or Count Dooku."
"She also had the most 'Interesting' weapon I've ever seen," Rex chimed in and brought out the girls weapon in storage form.
"Doesn't look like much to me," Anakin said. Rex squeezed a leaver down. The weapon unfolded into its full scythe configuration, surprising the Jedi and nearby bridge crew at the deployment of the unusual weapon. "Thou I've been wrong before," Anakin said as he took the weapon and examined it and noticed something strange.
"Bullets? This thing's a slug thrower?" He said as he started looking it over and felt its balance in his hands.
"How uncivilized," Obi-wan said as he too looked at the weapon. before looking back at Cody. "You think she's trained to use the force or has some usage in it?" The Clone commander nodded.
"That and with the testimony of the troopers at the Outpost, she appeared right before the Separatist attack."
Skywalker sat the girl's weapon down before he rubbed his chin in thought. "He has a point, Master. But I'm a believer in one's actions that speak. If she is responsible for holding the Separatists back as long as she did, then that warrants at least a thank you and explanation of her involvement," the Jedi said.
"That is reasonable," Master Kenobi agreed. "Let's do a quick check on the girl first. I would like to see her current status before heading in."
Commander Cody typed up the security feed on the projector. A moment later, the holo appeared of the girl in question. A sight that they watched in silence for a few moments.
"Dangerous indeed," Master Kenobi expressed while Anakin and Rex tried to suppress their laughs. Cody meanwhile, kept his face neutral but failed to keep an eye twitch.
They saw their guest, lying back asleep on the bed provided in her cell. What made the scene humerus is that Ruby's mouth was hung open in a comical fashion as she snored. Her right arm and leg were dangling off the bed, and the blanket was in a tangled mess.
Indeed a threat to be wary of.
"Seeing as our guest is indisposed at the moment. How about we hold off on the interrogation till we're ready to leave for Coruscant?" Anakin suggested.
"The council will want this resolved this quickly. But we'll let the girl rest and keep her fed for the time being. We will head back to Coruscant when the scouts report from the neighboring systems that Grievous is indeed in full retreat." The Jedi Master then turned to the clones. "You are dismissed to return to your units, gentlemen."
The Clone Officers Saluted and left the Bridge.
The Jedi return their attention to the girl on the holo.
"You sense it too?" Anakin silently asked.
"I do," Obi-wan answered back. "Right when the clones returned from the moon. When they came aboard, the Force felt different. Like instead of feeling like I'm breathing in the ship's recycled filters, I'm breathing fresh air from an uncultivated world." He tried to explain.
"I know...what is she, Master? She looks human, but when I focus in with the Force..."
"... It's like looking at a small star, yes." Obi-wan finished his former Padawan's thoughts. "I have never heard of such an event, especially surrounding a single individual. Maybe master Yoda will have an answer for us, if not. We may have to look in the archive of the old Republic to see if this has happened before."
"Do you think she's connected to the disturbance we felt earlier?"
"Or the source of it." Master Kenobi replied. "Either way, I'll inform them of this when we give them our report of Grievous's failed invasion." Anakin Skywalker nodded in agreement.

Ruby shifted in her sleep. She would have continued to but felt the call of nature come knocking. Ruby pulled the covers off her and rubbed her eyelids. She had a particular dream where she somehow ended up on another world fighting evil robots alongside a bunch of clone soldiers. She must have been hitting the cookies hard this time around.
When Ruby opened her eyes and saw the metal walls and the clone soldiers outside, she realized she hadn't been dreams at all.
"Guess I didn't imagine it...then that means."
The memories of what happened to the school and Vale reappeared in her head. Of Yang missing her arm, Blake with a stab wound in the gut. Phyrra's death.
"Cinder...I will you and stop you from ever hurting anyone else, not if I have anything to say about," Ruby whispered/declared.
The Beacon student looked around the cell she was in and spotted the toilet. It had a covering on the side that allowed her some privacy from the soldiers outside but still made her feel weird.
One embarrassed potty break later, Ruby sat back down on her bed, still trying to figure out her situation. She had no Crescent Rose, no Scroll, and no idea where she is or where she was going to end up. What's worse was that she didn't know the condition of her family of her friends, nor did she know what had happened to Vale and Beacon.
Ruby entertained the thought of escaping her captives. But then remembered the time the White Fang and Torchwick captured her, reminding her of how terrible she was without her weapon.
Plus, where would Ruby go? She's on a spaceship! Sure she saw smaller ships in the hanger that could Vale's entire defense force. But the little Huntress didn't know how to fly a spaceship. She couldn't even drive a car!
Rub sags in frustration. 'Why can't life ever be simple?"
"Where's the fun in that?"
Ruby jumps at the voice and turns to find two new people standing outside her little room. They wore smiles and looked at her with interest. The first one she saw gave her an amused smile. He was about as tall as the clone troopers, with short chestnut brown hair and blue eyes. He wore some kind of blue and black clothing that looked like he hail from Mistral. The other was an older man that gave off an aura that reminder her of Ozpin, like an old Huntsman. He had brown hair and a beard with kind baby blue eyes. He wore a combination of blue robes and white plated armor similar to the clones. Another thing Ruby noticed was that both men had similar silver cylinders hanging from their belts.
"Um...Hi?" Ruby said awkwardly.
"Hello there," the older man said as he stepped forward. "My name is Obi-wan Kenobi, and I'm a Master of the Jedi Order and a General of the Grand Army of the Republic. With me, here is my friend Anakin Skywalker. We very much like to speak to you." Obi-wan introduced.
"Um, sure. I mean, it is your ship." Ruby said, a little nervous about what they will ask her.
"Thank you," Obi-wan said as he and Anakin stepped in her cell and motion for her to take a seat. To which she did, and the Jedi sat on the opposite end.
"First, we like to thank you personally for your involvement at the Rishi Moon Outpost. Your actions in helping notify the Republic of the impending invasion force has saved many lives this day, Ruby Rose." Obi-wan said gratefully to the teen.
Ruby blushed in embarrassment. "It was nothing."
"If charging into a detachment of battle droids and preventing a planetary invasion is nothing. I want to be there at what you would describe as something. That sounds like a party to me," Anakin said to the blushing teen.
"Indeed," Obi-wan said in amusement before turning back to the teen. His face turned serious. "I apologize, but now we need to ask you some crucial questions concerning you."
From his tone, Ruby felt like she wasn't going to like this that much. "Ok," she nodded.
"First, what were you doing that moon? The clones told us that they found you on the surface, tired and beaten. Can you shed some light on this matter with us?"
Ruby looked at the two in front of her before her and thought of what to say. "Ok. Truthfully I have no idea how I even got there in the first place. One moment I'm at my school fighting off a terrorists attack, trying to reach my friend only to watch her die in front of me."
The two Jedi looked at each other, clearly haven't been expecting this, and sat silent as the girl continued.
"When I watched Pyrrha die, then a big white light blinded me. After that, I woke up lying on a hard rocky surface, looking up at an unfamiliar sky. Some time past and I saw the Outpost in the distance and took a chance. They found me outside and took me in, and I returned the kindness by helping them fight off those robots."
The Jedi was silent for a moment as they took in this new information. "You said you were at a school before ending up on the moon?" Anakin asked. Ruby was happy to answer this question.
"That's right. I'm a student at Beacon Academy, training to be a Huntress."
"What is that?" Obi-wan asked in interest. Ruby all too glad to answer.
"Huntsman and Huntress are protectors and heroes of my world, Remnant. They fight crime, protect villages, and fight monsters." Ruby simplified.
"And you were on your way into becoming one? How long does that take," Anakin asked, wondering about this world Ruby came from.
"Well, if someone wanted to be a Huntsman, they needed to attend one of the primary combat schools. I lived on an island that has one, and they last for four years. You can go to Beacon Academy, the school I attended, or one of the other four kingdom schools. I had just finished my first year at Beacon until..." Ruby trailed off with her voice showing sadness.
"The terrorists attack," Obi-wan said grimly, and Ruby nodded as the mood now soured.
"My world can be a dangerous place outside the major cities. The kingdoms built schools that could train people who wish to fight the Grimm and sometimes criminals. The thing these people did...was evil."
The Jedi glanced at each other before nodding in agreement. "How bout we stop here for now? This sounds like a touching subject for you and can wait till we arrive on Coruscant with the Jedi council."
Ruby looked at the two men in confusion. "Um sorry new here. What are those things?"
"Coruscant is the heart and core world of the Republic and the Jedi Order. The center point of galactic civilization one could say." Obi-wan answered.
"The Jedi are the peacekeepers of the people and the Republic. To which they sound like your Huntsman from what you told us," Anakin said.
"Indeed, now that that's out of the way. We should head back to the Bridge. Care to join us, Ruby?" Master Kenobi offered.
During all the stress, the Huntress in training had nearly forgotten she was on a legit spaceship. Ruby agreed with great enthusiasm that the Jedi couldn't help but smile at the sight.
When leaving the ship's detention level, Ruby took all she could of the ship, asking questions along the way. Her childlike qualities amused the Jedi as Anakin answered her questions as it was his personal Venator class Star Destroyer, the Resolute. Ruby loved the classification.
Questions ranged from the size and purpose of the ship to more technical subjects like modifications one could add. Before Obi-wan knew it, Ruby and Anakin were talking tech that made the Jedi Master shake his head at the two. When the three made it to the turbo lifts. The Knight and the Huntress were talking about battle tactics as Anakin was listening carefully to Ruby's suggestions.
"-with the enemy's fleet distracted by the decoy fleet," Ruby said.
"they would be unable to see heavy walkers in asteroids under them," Anakin finished. "That is some cunning strategy."
"Interesting, you received some lessons of strategy I take it. Did Beacon teach battle tactics as well as combat?" Obi-wan inquired.
"When at Beacon, they set us up into teams of four and assign one of them as a leader. On my team, the headmasters appointed me as the leader," Ruby answered.
That was when the lift stopped, and they entered the Bridge of the ship. Ruby got a good view of the wide panoramic viewports up from and the pair of pits of clones working at different stations.
There she spotted someone that wasn't a clone, nor was it a human or a Faunus. It looked human but with a few key differences. She, Ruby assumed it is a she, had orange skin covered in what appeared to be white tattoos over her forehead. Instead of hair, it had some sort of white/blue-striped growth that led down to the sides, like pigtails. She also had one of those cylinders hanging from her belt that looked similar to what Obi-wan and Anakin have with them. This made Ruby think she is also a Jedi. The creature then turned to them, smiling on their approach.
"So this is the one that stirred up the ship's roamer mill," she spoke as she looked at Ruby.
Be nice, Ahsoka," Anakin said.
"Sure thing Sky-guy," Ahsoka replied.
"Be sure of it, Snips."
Ruby smiled at the banter between the two as it reminded her of her team. Before the sad memories of her missing teammates, the new girl walked up to her.
"Hi there, my name is Ahsoka Tano, I'm a Padawan Learner under the Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker."
The friendly nature Ahsoka put up put Ruby at ease. "Nice to meet, Ahsoka. I'm Ruby Rose, and I'm a Huntress in training."
"What's a Huntress?" Ahsoka asked.
"Think of it as my world's version of a Jedi from what I can understand." Ruby summarized. "What are you?"
"I'm a Togruta. Never seen one of my kind before?"
"Sorry, but no, I haven't. The only species on Remnant, my world, are Humans and Faunus."
"What's a Faunus?" The Togruta asked.
Ruby cupped her chin in thought before looking at Anakin. "Think Humans like Anakin here, but put an extra set of fluffy wolf ears or cattail."
That made Ashoka blink before the images ran through her head before she laughed out loud. Some of the bridge crew that had been close enough to hear the conversation smirked and stiffen their laughs. Obi-wan smirked in satisfaction at the embarrassed look his former Padawan had. Before anything else could say anything more, Captain Rex approached the.
"Generals, we're about to exit hyperspace," Rex informed them.
"Thank you, Captain," Obi-wan said.
"You're going to want to see this Red," Anakin said as he motions Ruby forward.
Ruby was about to call on him about not calling her the nickname a now dead criminal picked on her. But stopped when the blue tunnel that was faster than light travel ended abruptly, giving everyone a view of the planet with many ships surrounding it quite literally stretched into full view.
The native of Remnant blinked at the effect, with her eyes widening.
"This is Coruscant," Obi-wan said. "The entire planet is one large encompassing city connected by many means with many levels across the entire planet."
Ruby's jaw would have unhinged itself if it could as their Venator went past the massive fleet that protected the planet.
Ruby watched in silent awe as they slowly descend to the surface. Soon, the city became more distinct and clear along with the many flying vehicles, tall skyscrapers and gigantic landmarks that could be seen in all directions. All around them were ships whizzing by. If one looked closely enough, the dozens of alien species that populate this galaxy could also see piloting these flying cars.
Ruby was trying to do the math in her head at the population size of Remnant and compare it to Coruscant. Just by looking at it, there was no comparison. Remnant lost hard in that category.
"If you look over there, that is where the Senate of the Republic meet. The center of our Government," Obi-wan said as he points to the big dome-shaped building that could fit a forth of Vale inside.
But where we're going…" Anakin picked up for his old friend. "Is the Jedi temple, there."
In the distance, Ruby saw a tall building with five tall towers standing tall over the surrounding buildings.
Ruby felt a hand on her should and saw it belonging to Obie-wan.
"Come along now, some important people will like to meet with you."
