Chapter 2:Poisoned

"WHADDAYA MEAN HE'S ASLEEP?"Kagome yelled at the top of her lungs, loud enough to make hell freeze over."Just what we said, Kagome-chan.." Sango said, trying to shape things up so that Kagome would try to be quiet so Inuyasha could sleep. "That Miasa stung him badly, Kagome. There wasn't much I could do but try and suck it out of Master Inuyasha!" Myoga, the flea, chimed in."But then, you ran." Shippo pointed out, knocking Myoga of his tail with a paw.

Myoga shut up then. Miroku explained that the Miasa was a full one, meaning it was entirely full of poison. Inuyasha had split it open with Wind Scar, an attack of the Tensaiga, and the poison flew everywhere."I was lucky enough to shield Shippo and Sango with my own flesh so that they would not be harmed..." Miroku said couragously. "Yeah, but then you screwed it up by groping Sango." Shippo said glaring at Miroku as if to say,"You sorry,desperate perverted soul."Miroku flinched nervously."I-I was just making certain Lady Sango was all right." Curse my perverted ways...(--;)... The pervert thought.

"Well...can I at least see Inuyasha? I just want to know for sure that he's okay!" Kagome asked Miroku.Miroku rubbed the back of his head."Um...well...ya see, Kagome...when Inuyasha split the beast in two, his mouth was open and..." He glared at Sango,pleading in his mind:"SANGO-CHAN! HELP ME OUT HERE!""We're afraid if you do go to see in at Old Kaede's, you'll...get contaminated." Sango finished.

"So, your'e saying he's...contagious?" Kagome asked,curiously.

"Yep, he's under quarentine..."Sango added.

"...Hmm..." Kagome muttered, looking quite slyly at Sango's demon extermination suit. Sango looked at the suit, at Kagome, then at the suit again. Her eyes widened.

"Oh, no ya don't! If you think for one second I'm gonna lend you my suit, you are sadly mistaken, ma'am!" Sango said, over-protectivly.Kagome made her best puppy face at Sango.

"Oh...pwretty pwlease...?"she said.

"Well..." Sango exchanged looks with Miroku, hoping for advice. Then knew she'd need the word of the small, but wise, and looked at Myoga. Myoga gave Sango a nod and bowed as he bounced! down the rocky hill.

"Okay.All right, I'll lend it to you, but only this once." Kagome hugged Sango and changed into Sango's suit.

Well...I think the puppy face has saved me again! Kagome thought as she dressed. I get to see Inuyasha!
