Hello everybody, here's another update for you to read, hope you like it. Which games am I describing?
Disclaimer: I don't own anybody on here...and that means the main character. I didn't know who the main character was at the time. Oh, but I do own my OCs especially myself since this is self inserted.
I played a game my family got me. I played as a guy who can fight using punches and kicks. I learnt that this type of fighting is called Kung Fu. In this game, I fought bad guy who also knew Kung Fu. There were 6 stages and at the end of each stage you faced with different bosses. It took me a while to finish this game.
I wake up to find myself in a different place. A boy and girl see me and take me with them. We are walking through the place until a green guy shows up in the sky. The boy jumps at him but is defeated by lightning. The green guy must have used magic to do that. The girl cries when she saw what happened. The green guy uses his magic to make him and the girl disappear. The boy gets back up and goes off. I follow him and find him under the water. He is sitting down in the water. He jumps up and does a spinning kick. He walks up to the old man and put his hands together. He carries on walking.
I follow him and see him punches a frog and the frog spits out a round thing that has something on it. The boy picks it up and carries on walking. I follow him and watch him fight the bad guys. There is a scary guy with a sword, a bird, more scary guys with swords, and more birds. Every time he beat them, they drop round green ball. I see him uses a Kung Fu kick on some of the bad guys. He comes across another frog. He punches the frog which gives him a bowl of soup. He takes the soup and carries on walking.
He finds a bell that takes him on the cloud with the old man. I go with them. The cloud takes us up where I watch the boy jumps on the clouds. The clouds he jumped on disappear. I look at the picture which shows a person jumping on clouds. It looks like you'll get points for any clouds you jump on. I want to have a go so I run to the other side where there are more clouds. I jump on them and keep jumping to each cloud. It is harder than it looks as I missed some of the clouds. Luckily we are in a place full of clouds and I fall down on the soft clouds when I missed. I didn't hurt myself. After that, the old man gives the boy gifts for jumping on those clouds. The nice old man gives me a gift even when I didn't do well. I will do my best the next time.
We go back down and carry on. We have to jump across flying platforms over the spikes. He hits the frog again that gives him another green ball with red picture on it. We then get attack by a tiger. The boy beats the tiger with his punches and kicks. We move across the place and face with another tiger. After beating the tiger, I follow him into a building.
Inside, there are…I don't know what they are. It looks like a flying green sticks. We jump down onto the green platforms which float on water. We get attack by fishes and snakes on water. He hits a frog that gives him a bowl of soup. We have to be careful of the flying green sticks that fly at us. We jump into the water to avoid it. It is very hard to walk in water. At the end of this water fill place, we find the thing that threw those flying green sticks. It is a red snake in a pot. We beat it and go to the next place.
This place is very dangerous. There are spikes on the floor. We have to be careful and stay on the wood platforms. There are small wood platforms that will fall to one side if we stand on it. Something is hiding under that big bowl and is shooting arrows at us. We stay down to avoid the arrows. The boy jumps up and hits the thing that is hiding under the big bowl. We carry on through the place, avoiding the flying green sticks that fly at us. We climb up the water that is pouring down. I nearly slip down when I try to run up the water. A scary looking man with a scary looking weapon attacks us. The boy punches and kicks the scary looking man. The frog gives the boy soup when he punches him. It gets dangerous as there is a spike ball floating in our way. We have to jump over it when it goes down.
The boy beats the crab and a bell shows up when he jumps over onto the floor. It takes us high into the sky where I see a picture of wooden guys with eyes. One of them had only a head on the floor. Looking on the picture it looks like you get points for beating those wooden guys. I watch as the boy hits…those don't look wooden, they look more like they are made of clay. I will call them clay guys but…aren't they made of woods…? I have no idea. I will call them wooden clay guys. I help beat the wooden clay guys by copying the boy. I punch and kick them. The wooden clay guys appear from the floor and from the air. Again, the old man gives us gifts for doing a good job beating the wooden clay guys. I did okay as I beat only some of them. Going back to where we were, we jump across the platforms to the other side where a little pink guy kicks a ball at us. The boy quickly beat him.
We are in a cave where we get attack by mouse. We beat them by kicking them. We jump over spikes. I didn't know what to do when there was nothing to jump on until the floor appears from the bottom. We use that to jump across the spikes. We get another green ball with red picture on it from the frog that he punches. We jump across the wooden platforms while avoiding the spike balls that are in our way. A man with a sword attacks us but is beaten by the boy. We jump across the spikes using floors that appear from the bottom. Another scary guy with a pointed weapon tries to attack us when we jump over him. Luckily, the boy beats him before he can hurt us. We carry on through the cave. Bats attack us from above. It is very hard to hit them as they are small. We go through more spike floors, more bad guys and more spike balls. We make it to the end where we jump all the way up using the wooden platforms. We make it outside where there are lots of waters. We beat the pink little guy and go across the water.
We go inside the building where I see what look like Chinese writings on the tall stones. We go to where there's a big statue. The statue attacks us with his hands. We jump away from it. The statue has an angry look on his face. The boy uses the platforms at the side to jump over the hands and hits the statue in his face. He uses Kung Fu upside kicks to hit the statue's face. I jump around, avoiding the statue's hands. After hitting the statue several times, the statue loses his hands and is beaten. The whole place starts to shake and we fall down through the floor.
We are in a rocky cave with lots of rocks. We jump down and land on the rocks below. It is very hot in here. I look down to see that this place is full of lava. We quickly run across where we get attack by…birds that look like little flying dinosaurs. There are also red guys that fire fires from their hands. We beat them by punching and kicking them. I am standing on a rock and looking around the cave. Next thing I knew the rock I am standing on breaks and turns into a small rock. Uh oh, if I don't move I think that this rock I am standing on will disappear. I jump over to another rock. Did that rock breaks because of the heat? It might also be because I stand on it for too long. A bell appears when the boy jumps across the rocks. We get the bell and go up using the cloud.
The picture shows a guy hitting a ball and next to the picture are colour squares. The green square has a -800, the pink square has -400, and the blue square has -200. The boy goes over to where there's a face in the air. The face spits out balls from his mouth. The boy hits the balls to stop them from hitting the floor. I miss some of the balls which cause the floors that got hit to disappear. I understand it now; we need to hit the balls to stop them from hitting the floors. We'll lose points if the balls hit the floors. I better try my best to stop the rest of the balls from hitting the floors. I didn't do well on this but the nice old man still gives me a gift.
We carry on through the cave full of lava. A man with a big stick spins around and when he stops, he hits the floor with the big stick. This causes the whole place to shake. The boy beats the man to stop the shaking. We come across some more of those bad guys. The boy doesn't stand on the rock for too long but when that man causes the whole place to shake using his stick, the rock that the boy is standing on break and disappears quickly. The boy falls onto the lava. He jumps up while holding his bottom with his hands. He shouts out in pain. I better make sure not to fall in the lava as it is dangerous and I don't want to burn myself. When we jump onto a certain rock, a bell appears on the next rock. We grab it and then go up on the cloud.
I see a picture of a guy who is trying to hit the fish. The fish doesn't look too happy with the guy. We go under what looks like a shower. I think the shower is using rain water. We need to hit all the fishes that jump out of the water. It is very hard for me to hit all the fishes. The boy did a great job hitting all the fishes. He did it by jumping and kicking the fishes. I try to jump but I can't jump that high. I try my best to hit all the fishes. Again the old man gives us gifts for what we did. I think the fishes look sad that we beat them.
We quickly jump across the platforms over the lava. The boy grabs me and pulls me away. Fireballs in a shape like a snake jump over the platform. If the boy hasn't pulls me away, I would have gotten burn by those fireballs. We run across the platforms, being careful of the fireballs that jump toward us. We have to quickly jump all the way up using the rocks because the lava is going up. If we're not quick, we will get burn by the lava.
We make it to the top and go into an ice cave. This place is very cold. More guys with sticks are in here. Whenever they cause the place to shake, ices come down from above and fall on us. We quickly beat them to stop the ices from falling onto us. We face with blue guys that look like the red guys in the lava cave. I guess these blue guys are ice and they shoot ice from their hands. We run through this ice cave jumping across ice platforms and beating bad guys. It is very hard to run on the ice floor. I keep sliding to the side and not running in the right place. There are scary flying bone heads that attack us when we near the end.
We go to the next room where I see lava under us. We are still walking on ice over the lava. We go to where there's a big black hole in the back. A big man shows up from the black hole in the back. He has what looks like a big and dangerous looking stick. He makes the fireballs jump from the lava by hitting the floor with the stick. We have to avoid the fireballs that jump at us. The boy hits the big man near his chest and face. After getting hit a few times, the big man looks scary and makes the stick jumps around by itself. The stick tries to jump on us and squash us. I keep running to avoid the stick. The boy runs under the stick and keep on attacking the big man until the big man is defeated. The big man disappears into the black hole and we go to the next place.
There are lots of water in this place and flying green turtle shells. We use the flying turtle shells to jump across the water. That red turtle shell doesn't look good. As soon as we go near it, the red turtle flies at us and attacks us. The boy jumps and kicks the red turtle. One of the green turtle shells take us high up into the sky. We jump onto the floating platforms and make our way across by using the flying green turtle shells. The floating platforms take us high into the sky. We better not fall down or else we'll have to climb back up again from the bottom. I look at the sky and wonder if the girl is okay. I hear music when we climb up to the sky. I like the music so I sing it using words. Maybe I'll sing about the girl who is waiting for the boy to rescue her. We have to be careful as some of the flying green turtle shells will fall when jump on. We keep going higher and higher into the sky. We are very high up; if we fall down we might just fall halfway down and not to the bottom. We are nearly there; just have to be careful of the birds and the red turtle shell that try to attack us.
We make it to a place with moving water and lots of trees in the background. There is a tree on the water. We ride it across the moving water. We get attack by birds that look like little flying dinosaurs (I still don't know what they are!). They fly right at us. The boy punches them down. We jump off the tree and onto a platform. The tree crashes and breaks when it hits the rock. We fall down the falling water and fall into more water below us. We find another tree on the water. We jump on and ride along the moving water. We get attack by a weird green…thing. He throws things at us. We beat him by punching and kicking him. We ride back on the tree and make our way across the moving water. We have to be careful as there are spike balls in the water that float up. We jump over them and back onto the tree. Again, we fall down the falling water into more water. We use the trees to move across the moving water and make our way down. I hear music again; this one is different from the one I heard before. This music is nice too so I sing it while I make my way down the water. Weird looking things are in the water. They are brown and are very spikey. They look like they are smiling and happy. We can't attack them so we jump over them.
We finally make it to the next place. We are going through this place full of trees until we see a frog. I thought the boy will get something if he punches the frog but the frog turns into a big flying frog with wings. I watch as the boy jumps onto the tree and uses some kind of red fire blast that flies across and defeats bad guys that it hits. The flying frog spits out little frogs that go around him. The boy uses the fire blasts to attack the flying frog and the little frogs. The flying frog turns red after getting hit several times. He fires bubbles at us. The boy can't do anymore of the fire blasts. It looks like he can only do it five times. The boy jumps from the tree and toward the flying frog. He uses a special kick on the flying frog. He keeps doing it until the frog is defeated. The flying frog turns back to a normal frog when he is defeated.
We carry on into a scary looking place. This place doesn't look good. We get attack by flying bone heads and scary looking guys with weapons. We run across the place, defeating the bad guys. The next place is full of snow. We get attack by a weird snow guy. He throws the snowball at us and tries to attack us by running into us. The boy knocks him out with his punches and kicks. There are more weird snow guys and there are tigers in this place too. I forgot to say that there are bells hiding throughout all the places and whenever we get it, we go up on the cloud to do any of those trainings.
We find a cloud just floating there. The cloud takes us high up into the clouds. We drop onto the clouds. We can't stop jumping on the clouds as they keep making us jump. We jump across the clouds, being careful of any bad guys that attack us. We have to jump over the pink round spikey things that fly in the air. They look just like that brown things in the water. They look like they are smiling too. Me and the boy accidentally fall down. We fall toward a very big purple foot. The very big purple foot kicks us back up to the clouds. Ouch, that hurts! We must be careful not to fall down or we will get kick by that very big purple foot. There are stone platforms in the sky too that we can stand. We also need to jump across green turtle shells to get to where we are going.
We jump across the clouds and find a big cloud. This cloud turns into a big purple monster with one eye. Oh, so the very big purple foot that kicked us belong to this monster. The big purple monster attacks us using his hand. We couldn't hurt him as he has his eye closed. When he opens his eye, we hit him in his eye. His eye goes redder and redder everytime we hit him. We beat the monster by defeating his eye. The monster drops into the cloud and we go into what looks like a cave.
We are inside the green guy's place. There are fires in the background. More bad guys try to stop us but we beat them and carry on. The light is gone and it's very dark in here. I can't see where I am going. What's that?! I can't see properly but it looks like a grey jumping thing with an angry face. He jumps at us to attack us. The boy beat him using flying kicks. The light comes back on and I can see where I am going. There is a red guy holding a candle. I want to knock him out but the boy stops me and tells me that we need that red guy to keep the light shining in this room. As soon as we go way past the red guy, the whole place turns dark again. It is very hard to find our way through this place. To make it worse, more bad guys attack us while we are in the dark. Finally, we make it out of the dark. The place lights up with fires in the background. We run across and jump up the platforms to the top.
We are in a place with moving platforms. The moving platforms move differently. I see a floor that looks like a punching hand. There are also weird red and orange floors that make us jump when we land on it. We have to be careful of the bad guys and spike balls in this place. I find it hard to get up to the top using the moving platforms. I find it easy to just keep jumping on the moving platforms, that way I will jump to the right place.
We run across this place full of lava. I walk over…grey things that I have no idea what they are…or maybe I didn't notice it. They are on the floor so I might not have notice it. I follow the boy across the platforms and over the lava. Floors that look like punching hand appear from the ground. A floor appears from above which force us to go down and under. A mouse attacks us as soon as we go under. The boy kicks the mouse and defeats it. More bad guys show up to try to stop us as we run across this place. After beating the bad guys, we make our way across the lava using the flying green turtle shells. It feels so long going through this place but we finally make it out.
We are in a green place with what looks like Chinese writing on the walls. There are machines that shoot…beams between them. We jump carefully up, stopping before the machines and waiting till the machines stop shooting beams between them. We have to duck down under some of the machines to avoid getting hit by the beams. We make it to the top and carry on forward. Little red spike balls are going around the big stones. It is easy to avoid them as we just wait for them to go up or behind the stones. We get attack by more bad guys. We go into a lift that takes us up.
In this blue place, we find a dragon statue which comes alive. The dragon attacks us by shooting star-like things at us. We jump onto the middle platform to avoid the dragon's attacks. The boy jump kicks the dragon in his face. After beating the dragon we go past it to find a big red door. The red door opens to reveal a frog. There sure are a lot of these frogs around. The boy gets a green ball with red picture on it. I think those green ball with red picture on it will help the boy do special moves like that upside kick, that special kick, the roll into a ball through the air attack, and that powerful round kick. We face another dragon statue that comes alive. We use the high floor far from the dragon to avoid the dragon's attacks. After the dragon attacks, the boy jumps high up toward the dragon and jump kicks him in the face. He then quickly jumps back onto the high floor to avoid getting hit by the dragon's attacks. He keeps doing this till the dragon is defeated. We go past to find another big red door. Another frog is behind that door which gives us soup. We carry on and face another dragon statue. This is difficult as there are no platforms to help us avoid the attacks. We have to jump over the star-like things to avoid getting hurt. The boy beats the dragon with his jump kicks. Behind the big red door is the nice old man on the cloud. He makes sure that we are fully heal up and then flies away.
We go to a scary looking place. I don't like this place as there are bone heads on the wall. The green guy shows up to fight the boy. The boy jump kicks the green guy. The green guy fights back by jumping toward the boy and using a kick. After the boy jumps away from the green guy, the green guy shoots a big ball of…power at the boy. The boy jumps over the ball of power to avoid getting hurt. He jumps toward the green guy and kicks him. The green guy jumps away and fires more ball of power. I notice that whenever the green guy is close to the boy; he kicks to attack him, and when he is not close to the boy; he fires ball of power at him, and everytime the green guy gets hurt, he jumps around.
After a long battle, the boy beats the green guy. The green guy turns into a black ball with fire inside it and floats away. We go to the red door and free the girl. The girl is worried as she finds out that the boy will go to finish the fight with the bad guy. The nice old man gives us two clouds to fly on. Me and the boy jump onto the clouds and fly down below. There we face the black ball with fire inside it. The black ball is green now and changes into a big green spider. Ewwwww, I don't like the look of him! The boy fires the fire blast at the spider. It looks like he got it back. Maybe it's the nice old man who gave him that power back or maybe the girl. Or it could be the little green balls we collected that gave the boy that fire blasts back. After using all the fire blasts, the boy flies to the spider on the flying cloud and punches the spider. The spider fights back by spiting red stuffs at us. I fly around on the cloud to avoid getting hit. The spider then throws a dangerous red thing that flies toward us. It is very hard to avoid that. The boy uses all his special attacks on the spider. After hitting the spider for several hits, the spider turns red. I think we're nearly there just need to hit him some more. This is a difficult battle but we can't lose or it will feel like a big heavy bag will fall on us and crush us. It will be difficult to hold a very heavy bag up for long. If the boy tries to hold the heavy bag up for far too long, he will get squash under that heavy bag. We keep fighting and defeat the spider after a few more hit.
The boy jumps down from the cloud. The cloud I am on safely takes me down to the floor. I jump off and follow the boy. The boy meets with the old man again. He puts his hands together just like before. He then walks over to the girl who is standing next to the pink trees. Is it me or did it gets dark really quick? It feels like it has gone dark and then light and then dark again and then light again. The girl looks so happy that the boy is back.
It's time for me to go home. I say goodbye to the boy, girl and the old man. I walk away where a portal shows up and takes me home.
The first game I mention was on the Gameboy and was called Kung-Fu Master. I had problem getting past the first stage but I eventually beat it and kept playing it till I got better at the game.
The game I'm trying to describe is Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu on the NES. I love this game and the music. I remember me and my family laughed when I fell on the clouds stage. Jackie got kick back up by the big foot. We laughed a lot when we saw that. When I first played this game, I didn't know who Jackie Chan was and I didn't know that the main character was Jackie Chan. I didn't know how to read at the time so I didn't know his name. That's the reason why I didn't give the boy a name, I didn't know at the time.
