Took me a while to do this chapter, I hope you'll enjoy this.

Guess which game I am describing?

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters except my OCs.

Warning: spoilers for anyone who haven't play or finish this game.

I look around and see plants with eyes dancing side to side, a lock thing near me, mushroom houses way over there, a small castle, a big castle with water around it, and a weird looking thing walking around the place. I'm about to walk over to the first place until I hear a voice.

"Julie, it's a good to see you." Mario walks to me and pats me on my head. "I'm on my way to the castle. I heard that someone needs a help," Mario says to me.

"Let's help them," I say.

Mario smiles at me. We go to the first stage. This looks different from the Mushroom Kingdom that I went to. It still has the question mark boxes and the brick boxes. The bad guys are the same as well. There're the Goombas, Koopas and the Piranha Plants. We jump onto the Goomba and then hit the question mark boxes to get coins and a mushroom. Mario becomes big when he eats the mushroom. The first Piranha plant I see spits fireball at us before he goes back into the pipe. We duck down near him to avoid the fireball. We jump over the pipe, beat another Goomba and jump on the red Koopa. Mario kicks the red Koopa shell into the question mark box on the floor. A brown leaf comes out of it. Mario grabs it which gives Mario animal ears and a raccoon tail. Mario uses his raccoon tail to beat the Goombas and Goomba with wings by spinning around and hitting them with his tail. He then carries me on his back.

"Hold on tight Julie, we a going up."

Mario runs very quick and spread out his arms. I hold on tight as Mario jumps up and flies through the air. He uses his tail to fly up into the clouds with smiling faces. Mario hits the question mark box to get a 1-Up Mushroom. We collect the coins in the air and jump back down. We float down because of the raccoon tail. We jump across boxes and gaps, beating the bad guys. When we reach the end of this stage, the background at the end is black with white outline of hills on it. There's a box in the air that quickly changes to mushroom, flower and star. Mario runs to it and jumps into it. A mushroom from the box flies up into the sky. I follow Mario to the next stage. We go past the next stage.

I look back in confusion. "Why did we go past?" I ask Mario.

"Luigi has already done that stage. We're going to the other stage," Mario says to me.

The next stage looks like the same as the first one. Mario jumps on a green Koopa and then carries the Koopa shell. A dangerous bad guy throws boomerang at us. Mario kicks the shell at him and then jumps over the boomerang. The shell runs across the floor and knocks out the bad guy. I want to carry a Koopa shell like Mario. We jump up using the music note box. The music note box is very bouncy; we can bounce very high by jumping on it. I find another Koopa and jump on him. I carry the Koopa shell.

"Julie, be careful! The Koopa is still in there. If it starts shaking it means the Koopa will try to come back out. You must kick it away before he comes back out."

I listen to Mario. I kick the shell into the brick boxes. The shell runs around, hitting and destroying the brick boxes. The only boxes that it didn't break are the question mark boxes. When it hits them, it runs the other way. I jump down when the shell is gone. Mario follows me and then jumps up where he hits an invisible music note box which is now visible when he hit it. This music note box looks a little pink. We jump onto the pink music note box which sends us way up into the sky. We land on the clouds. Me and Mario run across the cloud, collecting the coins in the air. I look closely at the clouds under us. The clouds look like children sleeping in a bed. We go into the pipe to return to the place below. Wow, we nearly at the end. We run past the black background. Mario jumps into the box and get a star. We go to the spade place.

"Line up the pictures and get a prize. You only get one try," says Toad.

I watch Mario as he tries to line up the pictures. The pictures are spinning around and Mario has to stop them to make the right picture. He needs to line up three pictures. They are of a star, flower and mushroom. I laugh when I see that Mario didn't get it right. The picture looks funny.

We carry on to the small castle. This castle looks scary. There're fires on the floor and fireballs jumping out of it. We jump across them and find a question mark box. We hit it which causes the Fire Flower to come out. Mario takes it which causes him to change colours. He loses the raccoon power-up but gains the fireball power. We carry on where we dodge the spinning colourful ball by staying near the red ball. This colourful ball is dangerous and it only spins around the red ball on the floor. We quickly run past it and across more fires and spinning colourful balls. We hit the question mark box when we make it past. A red leaf comes out of it.

"You try it Julie."

I smile at Mario. I take the leaf which gives me animal ears and a raccoon tail. I wiggle my tail and try to fly. I couldn't fly.

"You need to have a running start to fly. You need to run very fast. We can try that when we get out of this place," Mario says to me.

Mario jumps on a bone koopa which causes him to fall to pieces. I follow Mario through the door. Above us is a spike ceiling, slowly coming down on us. We quickly run to the gap in the ceiling and stay there until the ceiling comes down. I look up to see more spikes above us in the gap. We keep our heads down and avoid jumping. The spike ceiling slowly goes back up. We wait for it to reach the top so that we have enough room to jump across the gaps in the floor. I find it easy to jump across using the raccoon tail. We quickly run to the other end just as the spike ceiling comes down. There is nowhere to go. We duck down to avoid the spike above us. Luckily, there is a little gap in the spike ceiling so that we can avoid it. The spike ceiling comes down and then slowly goes back up again. We look around to see that there's nowhere to go. The door slowly moves up from the floor. We quickly go in.

We run to the other room where a turtle monster waits for us. He is on all four of his legs with his spike shell up. He jumps at us and runs on two legs. We jump out of his way. Mario jumps on his head. The turtle monster wiggles his arms and legs, he does not look too happy when he got jumped on. He goes back onto all four legs and then jumps at us again. Mario jumps on his head again which causes him to wiggle his arms and legs. He goes back on all four legs and tries again to attack us. We jump out of the way and then jump on his head. This time we beat him and he drops a question mark ball when he blows up. We take the question mark ball which removes the lock thing near the beginning. Now we can go straight to the beginning without taking the long route. We go out of the small castle which then breaks into pieces.

A spade with a 'N' on it appears and moves about. We go to the spade with the 'N' on it.

"Flip over any two cards and see if they match. You can only miss twice," says Toad.

In front of us is a table with cards on it. All the cards are face down.

"Julie, why don't you go first and I'll take the next turn," Mario says to me.

I flip one card which reveals a mushroom. I flip the next card which is a flower. I didn't win. Mario flips a different card to me. He flips over a star. He flips another card which is a coin with the number 10 on the bottom. We both lose.

We carry on only to find ourselves in a dark place. There are four pipes in here; two on the top and two on the bottom. There's a box with Pow in the middle at the bottom. There're platforms on top of the pipes at the bottom and platforms at the bottom of the pipes at the top. There a middle platform and two at the sides.

"Mario, Julie!" Luigi runs to us and hugs me.

I laugh when he hugs me. "Luigi!" I say.

"It's a good to see you," Luigi says to me. Luigi looks up. "Mamma mia! We got troubles! We must get Julie to a safe place."

"You're right Luigi," says Mario.

Mario carries me and we all jump out of the way. Spinies appear out of the pipes above us. They walk down toward us. When they walk off one end, they appear on the other end. It's easy to get around the place by doing this. The Spinies keep walking in one direction. They go down and into the pipes at the bottom. They come back up the top pipes and walk back down.

Mario places me behind one of the pipes at the bottom. "Julie, stay here where is safe."

Mario then runs back and hits the POW box from below. This causes the whole place to shake like an earthquake. I fall down when that happens. Luigi does a short jump when that happens and it causes a mushroom picture to jump out of Luigi. Luigi chases after the mushroom picture that is moving across the floor. He catches it and takes it back. Mario and Luigi beat the Spinies by jumping at the platform below them. This causes the Spinies to turn upside down. Mario and Luigi then quickly run up to them and kick them. The last Spiny turns blue and runs very fast. They have to be quick to hit him upside down. I run over to them after they beat him.

"This is just like our job," says Luigi.

Mario notices me looking at him. "We're plumbers; we fix pipes. When we were fixing the pipes underground; Spinies, Shellcreepers, Sidesteppers and Fighter Flies were blocking the pipes so we have to clean it up by beating them. Now that we fix this, we can carry on to the castle."

"You two carry on, I'm going back to check if I miss anything," Luigi says to us. He hugs me before he goes out.

Me and Mario go to the next stage.

"Julie, watch this," Mario says to me. He sits on the snowy hill and slides down, knocking out the Buzzy Beetles on the hill.

That looks fun! I sit on the snowy hill and slide down after Mario. We slide down into the water at the bottom. This place looks like it's in space. There're white dots around here that look like stars. We climb up hill where we face with Piranha Plants (which don't spit fireball) and more Buzzy Beetles. We find another invisible music note box which takes us high into the clouds. When we collect the coins in the clouds, we go into the pipe which takes us to the top of the hill. We slide down back underground. We quickly jump across the two pipes at the bottom and wait for the Piranha Plant to go back inside the pipe at the top. We go into the pipe at the end which takes us to the exit. Mario jumps at the box and gets a mushroom. He gets a 1-up when he collects three cards from the box.

We are on the way to the next stage until we bump into the weird looking thing. Now that we are close to the weird looking thing, I see that it is actually a Hammer Bro. He jumps on the floating brick boxes above him and throws hammers at us. I keep my distance while Mario quickly avoid the hammers and knocks the Hammer Bro out by hitting the box underneath him. A box appears and we open it up to get a Super Star. We go past the next stage as Luigi has already done it and go into the mushroom house.

"Pick a box. Its contents will help you on your way," Toad says to us.

Mario lets me pick so I choose the middle one. I get a green leaf which is called a Super Leaf. We put it in our pocket with the Super Star. We go out and go straight to the castle. Toad jumps up and down, very worried. There is a dog next to him with a crown on his head.

"Oh, it's terrible! The King has been transformed! Please find the magic wand so that we can change him back," Toad says to us.

I follow Mario out and watch him jumps up onto the chain of the flying ship. I copy Mario and jump onto the chain. We are being pulled to the top of the flying ship.

Mario notices that I follow him. "Julie, be careful. There're more bad guys here that are trying to stop us. Keep a watch out."

I follow Mario across the flying ship. We jump over cannons and avoid the cannonballs. There are more cannons on the bottom and the top. We also have to be careful of the Bullet Bills that get shot out of other cannons. Mario gets another Fire Flower from the question mark box. Above us is a moving round cannon that slowly spin around. It only shoots when it stops. We quickly run under it when it spins around. We jump over more cannons, avoiding the cannonballs and the Bullet Bills. We go inside a big grey pipe which takes us inside the flying ship.

A koopa with yellow hair attacks us with the wand. He fires little circles that go big the closer they get to us. We jump over them to avoid them. Mario jumps onto the koopa. The koopa hides inside his shell and spins around. After a while he jumps at us. We dodge him by running away from him. He stops hiding and carries on attacking us with the wand. I jump over his attacks and onto the koopa which causes him to hide in his shell again. I can do that thanks to the Super Leaf power-up. He goes back into his shell and spins around. I run away from him as he jumps toward us. Mario dodges him by running under him when he jumps. The koopa gets back out and attacks us again with the wand. Mario jumps over his attacks and onto the koopa. Mario is very good at jumping, especially when he is not using the Super Leaf. The koopa spins around and face upward. He flies up and drops the wand. Mario takes the wand and we fall down through the sky. We fall back into the castle where the wand falls down onto the floor and then bounces into the King's hand. The Toad is very happy to see that the King is back to normal. He bows his head to us to thank us.

"Oh, thank heavens! I'm back to my old self again. Thank you so much. Here is a letter from the princess," the King says to us.

I look at the letter and try to read it. I can read a little bit.

Mario notices that I am having problems reading it. He reads out the letter to me, "Greetings, if you see any ghosts, be careful. They will give chase if you turn away. I have enclosed a jewel that helps protect you. Princess Toadstool."

The letter came with a wing with a 'P' on it. It must be really good. The next world we go to is a desert with dancing trees, rocks and pyramids. There is a lock in front of the green pipe and mushroom house. We go to the first stage.

There're lots of brick boxes at the beginning. We jump onto them and run across them. Some of the brick boxes jump at us. We run under them as they jump over us. Mario hits the first question mark box which gives him the Super Leaf. Mario takes it and gets the raccoon ears and tail. We avoid more jumping brick boxes and hit more question mark boxes. One of them has a Super Star in it. Mario carries me and then grabs the Super Star. He quickly runs toward the purple pipes. We fly up and onto the purple pipes. There is a jumping big fireball jumping around. Behind it are little fireballs. It tries to jump toward us. We quickly run across more purple pipes and toward the exit. There are brown pipes with brick boxes between them near the exit. As we get close to the boxes, one of them jumps at us. We run under it and to the exit. There is a brick box under the floating box. That's not a normal brick box, it's a bad guy. We quickly hit the box which turns the brick box bad guy into a coin. Mario gets the star card from the box.

We go to the spade place where I try to match up the three pictures. I laugh when I make a funny picture just because I couldn't get them to stop at the right time. We go past the next stage since Luigi done it for us and go straight to the small castle.

The bone koopas known as Dry Bones are in this place. We jump onto them which cause them to fall to pieces. Mario stops me and points upward. I look up to see a big mean looking square thing with spikes around him at the top above us. We slowly go near it which causes the big mean looking square thing to fall. It hits the floor and then slowly goes back up. I look behind and see that the Dry Bones we beaten have come back together and are walking toward us. I do not like that. We quickly run under the big mean looking square thing as he makes his way up. We go past more Dry Bones and a mean looking square thing. There's a ghost covering his eyes as we go past the mean looking square thing. We walk toward the pipe. I look behind to see the ghost covering his eyes. That's weird, did that ghost just move toward us? We go up the pipe and into the next room. This room is even more dangerous. We jump onto the platform over the spike floor, wait for the mean looking square thing to fall so that we can safely go past it, run under the ghost and then quickly run past more mean looking square things. Mario holds my hand as we run as quickly as we can to avoid getting squish by the mean looking square things which are called Thwomps.

We go through the door where we are in a more dangerous room. There're platforms with spikes on the top and bottom. They slowly move up and down. There are also ghosts in this place. The ghosts are covering their eyes. We carefully run under the spike platforms when they move up. To safely get across we go to the safe gaps between the spike platforms. I look back to see the ghost covering his eyes. I'm sure that ghost was way up there the last time I checked. I look forward to see if the platform has gone up. I look behind me again. I knew it! That ghost is getting closer to us! I tell Mario about it. Mario tells me that these are the ghosts that Princess Toadstool warned us about in the letter. We keep a close eye on them to stop them from moving. Mario grabs me by my hand and we run under the spike platform. We quickly run into the door that is about to go down into the floor.

This room feels like the same as the first small castle back in the first world. We run into the big room where the same turtle thing is standing on all four legs. The only difference is that he is grey and not brown. Mario tells me that he is called Boom Boom and that there are different ones. We beat him the same way as the other one. Mario takes the round question mark and we go back outside. The castle is now broken and the lock disappears.

We go back and take the other route to the mushroom house. Mario picks out a Fire Flower from the box. We go all the way back to the castle and past it. The next stage is already done by Luigi so we go to the other stage. This stage looks different from the others. We meet up with Luigi before we go into this stage.

It looks like Luigi has burned himself. "Mario, Julie, be careful!" Luigi warns us.

"Luigi, what happened?!" Mario asks. He notices that Luigi is little.

"There is a very angry looking sun in the next stage. It will chase you and burn you by flying into you. It's not safe for Julie to go."

I want to see the angry sun but I don't want to get burn.

Mario thinks about what Luigi just said. "This is a good time to use the item that Princess Toadstool gave us."

Mario gives Luigi the P-wing which turns little Luigi into normal size Luigi with raccoon ears and tail. He doesn't look any different from the Super Leaf. We all go to the next stage. I look up and see the angry sun. Luigi is right, that sun does look very angry. Luigi carries me and we fly up high into the sky. Mario follows us on the ground. Mario jumps over the quicksand while dodging the Piranha Plants that come out of the quicksand. He also beats a Parakoopa and a Koopa. Mario then gets blown back by a tornado. Mario couldn't run past it as it blows Mario back. Mario runs back and then runs quickly toward the tornado. He jumps quickly through the tornado which is enough to get him through. As Mario runs over the brick boxes, the angry sun starts to move in circle.

"Here it comes, Mario, look out!" Luigi shouts to Mario.

Mario looks up and sees the angry sun flying toward him. He dodges the angry sun by jumping over him. I'm watching from high in the sky where the angry sun won't get me. Mario beats the Parakoopas and jumps over the quicksand while dodging the angry sun that keeps attacking Mario. Mario hits the box at the end and gets another star card. The angry sun turns into a coin when Mario hits the box. Luigi hasn't stop flying in this stage. It must be because of the P-wing, it must have given Luigi the ability to keep flying. We all exit the stage.

"I'll go that way," says Luigi. He points over to where the spade place is.

"Okay, we'll go this way," says Mario.

"You two be careful," Luigi says to us.

"You also be careful, Luigi," Mario says.

Luigi hugs me before he goes to the next stage. I follow Mario to the mushroom house. Inside, we get another item by picking a box. We enter the stage opposite the mushroom house. I notice brick boxes at the top. I wonder where that leads to. Mario beats the Paragoomba which is a Goomba with wings. Now we have enough space to run and fly. We run very fast and then fly up. I follow Mario up toward the brick boxes. He breaks it and carries on going up. Wow, there's water in this place with a green Cheep Cheep! We run across, collecting coins. We break the brick boxes till one of them reveals a blue 'P' button. I wonder what that does. Mario jumps onto it. It turns all the brick boxes into coins and all the coins into brick boxes. It doesn't last for long so we hurry to collect the coins…what left of them. Me and Mario broke most of the brick boxes so there aren't many coins for us to collect. We jump down using the music note boxes in front of us. The last one lets out a Super Leaf when we jump on it. We collect the Super Leaf and run to the exit. There's the bad guy that throws boomerangs. He is called Boomerang Bro. Mario quickly runs, jumps over Boomerang Bro and into the box which turns the Boomerang Bro into a coin. I watch the star card goes all the way up into the dark sky and changes into a big bright star picture. It is amazing and pretty! I think it will only do that if you collect three of the same cards.

The 'N' card shows up again in this world. We go there and play the matching card game. This time we get a few cards right. We go into the pyramid in the next stage. The background looks like stars just like the ice place in the first world. A Buzzy Beetle walks down the steps and toward us. We jump onto him and make our way up the steps. There are more Buzzy Beetles in this place. We collect another Super Leaf from the question mark box after we beat the Buzzy Beetle near the question mark box. Brick boxes are blocking our way. We use our tails to break the brick boxes. I always hit all the brick boxes with my tail as there could be good things like a Super Star or coins or any other power-ups hiding in them. I accidentally go the wrong way and have to go back and jump to the middle path. After breaking more brick boxes, we fly up over the brown boxes and into the pipe above. We are in a room with lots of coins and brick boxes. There's a single brick box at the bottom of the room. There must be something in there. I use my tail to hit that brick box at the bottom. I am right! There's the 'P' button in there. We have to break the brick boxes above it so that we can jump onto the button. After pressing the button, we use the hole we made to jump up and collect the coins. I accidentally break some of the brick boxes above us. After collecting the coins at the top, we quickly run back down to collect the rest of the coins. Again, I accidentally break some of the brick boxes. We couldn't finish collecting the coins as it ran out and they turn back to normal. We use the remaining brick boxes to grab the coins above us. We go back into the pipe where we come out near the hills. We go up the hill where we have to dodge the Buzzy Beetles. One of them is walking upside down at the top. When we go near him, he goes into his shell and drops onto the floor. Mario quickly grabs me and jumps out of the way. The Buzzy Beetle then spins while upside down and moves toward us. We jump over him and onto the other Buzzy Beetle on the floor. We use the Buzzy Beetle's shell to break the brick boxes in front of us. We have to dodge another upside down Buzzy Beetle that falls toward us. After breaking the brick boxes, we jump over the pipe while avoiding the biting Piranha Plant and go into the pipe. As soon as we get out of the pipe, a Boomerang Bro attacks us. We jump over the boomerang and beat him by jumping onto him. We go to the exit and hit the box to get a card.

We make it to the castle where we see another Toad panicking. I jump back when I see a spider moving up and down on the spider web. Toad tells us that the King has been transformed and he wants us to get the magic wand back so that we can change him back. I follow Mario to the flying ship and we jump onto the chain where we get pulled onto the flying ship.

We jump onto the cannons while dodging the Bullet Bills and jump onto the top platform. I jump onto the cannonballs being fired by the cannons underneath us. We have to jump down under the cannon in front of us to get past it. I jump down but stop as there is a cannon on the floor, pointing right at me. It fires a Bullet Bill at me. I quickly jump and land on the Bullet Bill, defeating it. Mario takes my hand and leads me to the top platform. Mario gets a Fire Flower from the question mark box. We jump down the wooden boxes while avoiding the Bullet Bills from behind and in front. We run under the wooden wall and jump up to the top platform using the wooden boxes. I run across the floor only to stop as I feel something pushing me up. I look down to see that I am standing on a round floor that lifts me up. I look down at the side of the round floor to see that I am standing on a mole-like bad guy.

"Jump on him," Mario shouts to me.

I do what Mario tells me to do and jump on the mole-like bad guy underneath me, defeating him. I see two more of the mole-like bad guys in front of me. I quickly jump on them to beat them. I carry on walking. I look back to see if Mario is still behind me but I find that the mole-like bad guys have come back. Mario beats them by jumping on top of their heads and then runs over to me. We jump over the two cannons and go into the big pipe.

A big brown koopa attacks us with the magic wand. He attacks just like the koopa with yellow hair. We beat him the same way as we beaten the koopa with yellow hair. When we beat him, he escapes just like the koopa with yellow hair, dropping the magic wand as he goes upward. Mario takes it and we fall through the sky. We land inside the castle and see that the King has return back to normal. Toad thanks us by bowing his head to us. The King is happy that he is back to normal and gives us a letter from the princess.

Mario reads the letter to me. "Greeting, you can stomp your enemies using Goomba's shoe. I have enclosed a jewel that helps protect you. Princess Toadstood."

I look at the jewel that the princess gave us. It's a cloud with a happy face. We go to the next world which is full of water. I don't like it because I don't know how to swim properly.

Mario looks at me. "You can't swim? Don't worry, I'll help you."

We go to the first stage. We swim straight down through the little gap where Mario gets the Fire Flower. We swim back up and then forward. A blue pipe on the floor blows us up to the top. Mario fires the fireballs at the little blooper. We quickly swim down past the blue pipes and the flower like bad guy on the floor. This flower like bad guy spits out dangerous little red things that slowly rise up. We have to be careful as some of the blue pipes will push us into the bad guys. We swim upward where we see the little blooper with very small bloopers behind his back. Mario fires the fireball at the little blooper which beats all the bloopers. We keep swimming to the blue pipe at the end and go into it. We are back on land. We run to the exit and hit the box to get a card. I notice that if Mario run very fast and hit the box near the corner, he will always get the star card.

We go past the second stage as Luigi has completed it. We go into the mushroom house where we get what looks like a frog suit from the box. We go to the next stage. This place isn't so bad as we are not underwater. The platform we are on keep moving into the water and then out and back into the water and then out. As we move across, a big red fish swims toward us. Mario quickly carries me and jumps out of the way as the big red fish jumps out of the water toward us. He has his mouth wide opened. That fish is trying to eat us! I do not like that. We must keep out of the water and stay high up to avoid that scary fish. We run to where we knock a 1-Up Mushroom out of the music note box. Since we hit the music note box from above, the 1-Up Mushroom comes out from below. There's no way we'll be able to get that without falling into the water. We carry on across the moving platforms and the spinning red platform. We have to wait for the spinning red platform to stop in order to cross it safely. I see silver coloured brick boxes on the floor. I wonder what those do. Mario picks up the silver coloured brick box. I copy Mario and pick up the other one. I follow Mario across the moving platform with a silver coloured brick box in my hands.

"Julie, look out!"

I look behind as soon as Mario shouts that. The big red fish swims toward me and jumps at me. He jumps right into the silver brick box that I'm holding and gets knock out. Oh, so we can beat the big red fish. I'm happy as we don't need to worry about that big red fish. I carry on following Mario. We should be able to swim over to that pipe- oh no, the big red fish is back! I do not like that. We use the spinning red platform to reach the pipe. We are very lucky that the spinning red platform throws us to the pipe. We go into the pipe which takes us near to the exit. We jump over the water and hit the box to get a card.

Hooray, Luigi beats the bad guys in the small castle. We go to the spade place to play the pictures game to see if we can get some 1-ups. Before we go to the next stage, Mario gives me the frog suit. I am now in a frog suit. I can't walk properly but I can jump really good. We go to the next stage.

Oh no, there're more water for us to swim through. We jump into the water. Hey, I can swim really good and really fast. Mario holds onto me and we quickly swim through the water. Wow, this is fun! Mario helps me shoot down any bad guys with his fireballs. The only bad guys we can't beat are the jellyfish ones. They just float there on one spot. We can't touch them because they will sting us. I make sure to swim around them. Uh oh, there's the big red fish again. I must avoid him or else he'll eat us. As I swim around him, the big red fish spits out a very small fish from his mouth. He then eats the very small fish that he spits out. We swim through the water while avoiding the jellyfishes and beating the bad guys. It's a lot easy to swim with the frog suit. We go through the pipe at the end. I quickly swim toward the exit while Mario uses the moving platform to get to the exit. I have to hop my way to the exit when I'm on land. Mario hits the box and gets a card.

I point at the cloud with the happy face item. "What does this do?" I ask Mario.

Mario looks at the item that I am pointing at. "This will let us fly over a stage really quick. The only problem is that we will miss that stage. If we need to go back to the other area, we have to go through that stage and complete it."

The Hammer Bros attack us as we make our way to the next stage. They both attack us from the floating brick boxes. We beat them by avoiding their hammer attacks and hitting the brick boxes under them. We collect the item in the box. The next stage has no water but we are high up. I'm very slow running as I'm in a frog suit. Mario carries me on his back. We use floating platforms to get across. Mario gets a Fire Flower from the question mark box. There're these small platforms with holes in the middle. If we stand on them for too long, they'll fall down. I find that if you keep jumping on them, they won't fall down. We stand on one of them for too long on purpose so that we can safely fall down to the lower platform. We then use the other small platforms with holes to get to the platform at the top. Mario picks up the silver brick box and throws it at the Koopa. We then stand on another small platform with a hole and wait for it to go down. Once we go to the lower platform, Mario jumps on the Koopa and kicks the shell into the brick box on the floor. It doesn't destroy it as there is a hidden Super Leaf inside it. The brick box turns into an empty brown box when the shell hits it. Mario jumps over the shell and gets the Super Leaf. Mario then floats to the other floating platforms with me on his back. We jump to the bottom platform where Mario picks up the silver brick box and kicks it at the brick box on the floor. This reveals the 'P' switch. Mario hits the switch and we jump to the next platform, collecting coins that used to be brick boxes. We jump on the red platform when it's not spinning and float down to the pipe. We enter the pipe and then jump across the platforms, beating a Parakoopa, and hitting the box at the end.

We go past the stage that Luigi done and go into the small castle. There's water in this castle. It's a good thing that I still got the frog suit on. I help Mario to swim quickly in the water. We swim into the pipe underwater. I have to swim carefully as there are colourful balls that go round green balls. There are also green Cheep Cheeps swimming around. I avoid them and we swim to the pipe. In the next room, there are white platforms. As I go near them, ghost-like bad guys come pop out of the white platforms and move along the platforms. I keep my distance from them and carefully swim to the pipe.

Mario carries me again on his back as we are now out of the water. We go to the next room where there're two little platforms above us. Boom Boom is waiting on his four legs. He jumps onto his two legs and runs at us. Mario jumps onto his head. Boom Boom wiggles his arms and legs. His arms look different. Boom Boom goes back on his four legs. He jumps up and flies around. Those arms are actually wings. Boom Boom quickly flies down and toward us. Mario waits for him to get closer. When he did, Mario jumps onto his head. Boom Boom wiggles his arms and legs again. He stands on his four legs and then jumps on his two legs. He just runs at us, not using his wings. Mario jumps onto his head and beats him. We collect the question mark ball and exit the castle.

We go into the pipe that was behind the lock. We come out of one pipe and then run to the other pipe. I think we went back near the beginning. We go back through the pipes. We go to the stage near the bridge and pipe.

Mario carries me as we are on land and not in water. After beating a Parakoopa, we quickly go past the pipe above us to avoid the Piranha Plant in the pipe. We jump up and break the brick box above us to avoid the bullet bill cannon. We jump onto the brick boxes through the hole we made. A Paragoomba drops very, very small goombas on us. They don't hurt us but they do slow us down and make us jump very low. We have to keep jumping to throw the very, very small goombas off us. We jump over the Bob-ombs that are walking around. When we jump on them, they stop moving and start flashing when they are about to blow up. When they do blow up, we must run away from them or we'll get hurt by their explosion. We go over the platforms to avoid the bullet bill cannons at the bottom. The silver brick boxes are in our way. We grab them and kick them away. Mario jumps onto the music note boxes. The middle one drops a Fire Flower onto the floor below us. Mario moves the silver brick boxes and let me take the Fire Flower. I'm no longer in a frog suit; I now got the fireball power-up. I follow Mario and help him get rid of the silver brick boxes that are in our way. We find a pipe which leads us underwater. Oh no, I can't swim good without the frog suit. Mario helps me swim through the water. The green Cheep Cheeps are in our way but I use my fireballs to beat them. It takes a lot of fireballs as I keep missing them. We go into the pipe, run to the exit and hit the box to get a card.

We go back to the rock where Mario uses the hammer he got from the box when we beaten the Hammer Bros. We can now go to the boat. We get into the boat and swim to the land with two mushroom houses and two spades. After getting the items and some 1-ups (if we lucky), we go back into the boat. I tell Mario that we should swim around the place in the boat. We swim around and find another land with a mushroom house. We get an item from the mushroom house and then swim around the place. I see the big castle on land, far from the other lands. We can't get to it by boat as there is no place for us to land. Something happens, the flying ship flies from the big castle to somewhere else. I wonder where it went to. We swim back to the main land. Hey, there the flying ship over there near the small castle. What is it doing there? We make our way to the flying ship and use the chain to get onto the flying ship.

This is very dangerous. Rocky Wrenches, the moles that I was standing on in the other flying ship, are throwing things at us. I use the fireballs to shoot them down. We jump over the bullet bill cannon and run under the cannons. There are lots of cannons here. We have to avoid the Bullet Bills and the cannonballs. We quickly run across to avoid them. There a screw that we can use to get over the fires at the bottom. We jump on the screw to move it across. I look down to see cannons shooting fires out. We have to go under the wooden walls that are in our way. There's a cannon in front of us and it shoots out fire at us. Mario quickly runs to me and pushes me out of the way. We both fall off the flying ship. We land safely into the water. Mario helps me swim to land.

"Julie, are you okay?"

"I'm okay."

"That was lucky. We nearly got roasted."

We look to see the flying ship flies to a different place. We walk around trying to find the flying ship. When we couldn't find it, we go to the pipe that takes us to the big castle. We go inside to see that Luigi got back the magic wand and changed the King back to normal. That King looks a bit like Mario. We walk over to Luigi.

"Well done Luigi!" says Mario. He pats Luigi on his back.

"Thanks, Mario. It took me a second time to beat it. I fell off after getting hit by a cannonball."

"Me and Julie fell off that airship too. I had to push Julie out of the way of the flame cannon and we ended up falling off."

Luigi carefully looks at us. He then hugs me. "I'm a glad you're okay." Luigi shows us the letter. "It's a letter from the princess. It's a said that a white box with magic powers will enable us to defeat our enemies." Luigi shows us a box with music note on it. What does that do?

At the start of the next world, we go straight through the pipes to get to the other land. I see a red mushroom but it is block by a rock. We need a hammer to break it. The first stage has already been done by Luigi. We go over to the next stage. Whoa! Everything here is big, very big. The pipes look big and the boxes we are standing on are big. This place reminds me of the stage with that moving water and big red fish; luckily, there is no big red fish in here. We jump across using the big pipes. Mario has to help me since I can't jump good without the Super Leaf. Whoa! Even the bad guys are very big. We still can beat them by jumping on them or using fireballs. The only bad guy who isn't big is the Cheep Cheep in the water. Mario throws the silver brick box at the big question mark box. A normal size Super Leaf comes out of it. I take the Super Leaf and get a raccoon ears and tail. The Piranha Plant that spits fireball comes out of the big pipe. Just like the Cheep Cheep he isn't big like the other big bad guys. We jump over him while avoiding the fireballs. We run to the pipe where we have to dodge another Piranha Plant that spits fireballs. We jump over the brick boxes and onto the 'P' switch. We collect the coins and hit a question mark box. A Super Star comes out of it. Mario carries me and takes the Super Star. We quickly run across toward the pipe at the end. We hit the box at the end and take the card.

We go past the next stage to the small castle. Inside, we walk past the candles on the wall. We stop to see a Thwomp, waiting for us to get near him. When we get near, he moves toward us but hits the wall under us. I look back to see fires walking toward us. They come from the candles. When the Thwomp slowly goes back, we quickly jump down to the bottom floor. Another Thwomp is waiting for us. When we get near him, he moves over us and hits the wall above us. We quickly jump up to the top platform to avoid the walking fire and the Thwomp. We go to the hole at the top and look up. There's another Thwomp waiting for us. Mario quickly jumps up through the hole and then back down before he get hit by the Thwomp.

"We have a problem," Mario says to me. "There's a small hole at the end but it's too small for us to fit through."

"What are we going to do?"

I follow Mario back to the pipes that we ran across. He looks at each of the pipe and then goes into the middle pipe. I follow him in. We're inside a tunnel with Dry Bones and the ghosts which are called Boos. We follow the path to a big wall. Mario jumps up and hits an invisible box which is now visible. Mario jumps on it and jumps up to hit another invisible box. We use those boxes to get up the wall. We go into the pipe at the end of the tunnel. We come out of the pipe and run to the next room where we face with Boom Boom who doesn't have wings. We beat him the same way as the others.

We go to the mushroom house past the stage that Luigi already done. After getting the item, we go out of the mushroom house where we hear music playing. This music sounds light and slow. I look around to see all the Hammer Bros asleep. This music must be bedtime music and it puts the Hammer Bros to sleep. We quietly walk to the next stage near the red mushroom house.

This stage looks normal…except for the very big bad guys. We jump over the gap, over the pipe and onto the box platforms. The Goombas are very big but they are easily defeated by jumping on their heads. We go through the door at the bottom of the box platform. Everything is back to normal size! The Koopas and the Goombas are not big. We carry on forward, beating the bad guys and jumping across platforms. We go into the next door which turns everything big again. We jump across the brick boxes toward the exit. We get a card from the box.

The music has stopped playing. A Hammer Bro walks toward us. We go to him and fight him. Whoa! That Hammer Bro looks fat! Hammer Bros attacks in the same way. The only difference is that he causes an earthquake when he jumps onto the ground. I keep falling down when he does that. Mario dodges the hammer bro's attacks and jumps onto his head to beat him. We collect the item from the box.

We go into the red mushroom house where we pick a box to get an item. Instead of the usually ones we get an animal suit.

I look at it. "What's this?"

Mario looks at it. "It's a Tanooki Suit." Mario turns the Tanooki Suit around to show me the back of the suit which has a raccoon tail on its back.

We go out of the red mushroom house and toward the bridge. We hear Luigi calling our name. We look at Luigi who is wearing a Tanooki Suit. I look at him carefully. This suit looks like it has the same power as the Super Leaf.

"I found this in one of the stages," Luigi says to us. "Watch what it does." Luigi turns into a statue of a man with a stick. He then turns back to normal.

"Wow!" I say. That is great.

"The statue will wear off so I can't stay as a statue for too long," Luigi says to us. "Are you going to the castle?"

"Yes, we are," Mario says to Luigi.

"I'll come too." Luigi follows us to the castle.

The King has been transformed into a dinosaur-like thing. Toad asks us to get the magic wand back so that we can change him back to normal. We all go out of the castle and onto the airship. There're cannons that shoot fires out. We carefully walk past them when they stop shooting fires. We go to the top and use the screw to move over the cannons. We beat a Rocky Wrench and get a Super Leaf out of the question mark box. Luigi grabs me and moves me out of the way of an attack. I look back to see that Rocky Wrench has come back and is the one to throw that thing at me. We quickly carry on, jumping under the wooden platform and going past the fire cannon above us. This is very dangerous, there're three cannons shooting fires. We carefully jump across, avoiding the fires from the cannons. We jump over a fire cannon and go under the wooden platform. We jump up the steps in front of us while avoiding the fire cannons.

We go inside the pipe where we face a koopa with yellow hair. He attacks just like the others. Luigi attacks by jumping into the air and then turns into a statue. He quickly falls onto the koopa, hitting him from above. The koopa goes into his shell, spinning and jumping toward Luigi. He doesn't hurt Luigi because Luigi is a statue. Wow, so the bad guys can't hurt you if you're a statue! When the koopa comes out of his shell, Mario jumps over his attacks and onto his head which causes the koopa to go back into his shell. Me and Mario jump while Luigi turns into a statue to avoid the koopa's attacks. When the koopa come back out, I use the Super Leaf power to jump onto his head. The koopa is beaten and goes upward, dropping the magic wand. Luigi grabs the magic wand and we fall down into the castle where the King thanks us. We get another letter from the princess. It says that there's a thief who stolen the whistle and he has escaped to the east of the sand dunes. She gave us another P-wing that came with the letter.

I can see another land across the water in this world. We all go to the first stage. A little black shell thing runs at us. Mario jumps on him and beats him before the thing can hurt me. We jump across the brick boxes and onto the blue platforms. A black ball with a face is jumping about. When he sees us he jumps right at us. I jump back when he does that. The black ball with a face stops in the air. I look closely and see that there's a chain on him. The chain stops him from getting us. His name must be from that chain and teeth as he is called Chain Chomp. We can't beat him so we jump over him and up onto the blue platforms above. A little white flower like things with mouth are sitting on the blue platforms that go upward. We jump over them but as soon as we go over them, they jump up and try to eat us from below. I get hit and lose my Super Leaf power. Mario and Luigi help me jump over the others flower like things and a little black shell thing. We jump over the Chain Chomp to a line of floating question mark boxes. We hit them and get a Super Star from one of the boxes. Mario grabs it and quickly runs at the bad guys in front of us. The Super Star power can even beat the Chain Chomps. Me and Luigi quickly follow Mario to the end of this stage. Mario hits the box to get a card.

We are back in the dark place with the four pipes and the POW box. This time more bad guys come out of the pipes at the top. The Sidesteppers are crab-like bad guys. It takes two hits to knock them upside down. When you first hit them, they get angry and run faster. The Fighter Flies are flies that move by jumping. They can only get knock upside down when they are on the platform and not in the air. Mario places me behind the bottom of the pipe. I watch as Mario and Luigi get rid of the bad guys. When Mario jumps on Luigi or Luigi jumps on Mario, the person who gets jumped on will drop one of his cards. The star card jumps around while the flower card stays in one spot. Anyone can get the cards. After a while, a fireball appears at the other end of the room. I see it at the bottom where Mario and Luigi are trying to knock the bad guys from the bottom of the room.

"Look out!" I shout at them.

Mario and Luigi look at where I am pointing. They both see the fireball flying toward them. "Mamma mia!" they both shout and jump up to the top platform to avoid the fireball. They look down and see the fireball going toward me. "Julie, run away!" they both shout at me.

Where should I run? I quickly run around the room to the other side. I make it to safety as the fireball disappears when it reaches the other side. Mario and Luigi quickly get rid of the bad guys before more fireballs come out.

I carry on following Mario and Luigi to the next stage where they help me climb to the top in a very dark place. They also help give me the Super Leaf so that I can jump better and float through the air. I don't remember what happens next, all I remember is going with Mario and Luigi inside a pipe after we clear that stage. The pipe takes us to the other land across the water. Mario and Luigi split up in order to clear more stages. I keep on following Mario toward the next stage while Luigi go to the small castle. In the next stage, me and Mario ride a big green boot. I have fun riding in it. All the stages look the same to me with a few differences. There're always things that get in our way and we need to get over or under them. There're also different bad guys in different stages that will try to stop us. We beat the Hammer Bros that get in our way and go into a building. We have to climb all the way up while avoiding the dangerous colourful balls, jumping brick boxes and Thwomps. When we reach the top, we go into a blue pipe which takes us to the clouds that has stars in them. I look down to see that we are high up. I can see the land down there.

We clear more stages and beat the bad guy in the small castle to get rid of the lock. At the big castle, the King has been transformed and we need to get the wand back from the bad guys. We go to the airship where it gets even more dangerous. The koopa with the magic wand is big and wears glasses. He always makes the ground shake when he jumps around while spinning in his shell. We beat him the same way as the others.

After saving the King, we go to the next world which is full of ice. Again, I don't remember much about this world or the next world. I remember I follow Mario to each of the stages. We don't go in every stage as Luigi complete some of them. This world is dangerous because of the slippery ice. I have problem moving around. When we get to the big castle, we see that Luigi has already saved the King. In the next world which is a jungle world, one of the stages has a secret room with a big question mark box. Mario hits it and a new suit comes out of it. Mario grabs it which gives Mario a shell and helmet. He looks just like the Hammer Bro. I like this suit as Mario can throw hammers. It is a lot easily beating the bad guys with this power-up. Me and Mario get to the big castle first and help save the King by beating the koopa with big hair. The letter we get isn't from the princess. It is from the bad guys! They have taken the princess and dare us to rescue her.

We go to the next world which looks scary. This place is different from the other worlds as there are a tank and a boat. We go to the tank first. We have to run over all the tanks while avoiding the cannons' attacks. We go into the big grey pipe at the last tank where we fight and beat a boomerang bro. Luigi did the boat so we go into the pipe to the next place. There are weird things that look like TVs to me. I see Luigi walking across them. I thought that Luigi will make it across but he gets grab by a hand and pull into the middle of the weird thing. I'm scared and surprised to see what has just happened. Mario runs to the middle of those weird things.

"Luigi! Are you okay?!" Mario shouts down into the weird thing.

"Mario! I'm a okay, keep going and rescue the princess," Luigi shouts back.

"You're sure you'll be okay?!" Mario shouts back.

"I'll be okay," Luigi shouts. "It doesn't look too bad in here."

"Okay, we'll keep checking on you to see if you're okay," Mario shouts to Luigi. Mario looks at me and sees that I am too scared to say or do anything. He runs back to me and says, "Don't worry Julie, Luigi will be okay and we'll be okay too." He holds me by my hand and leads me across the weird things.

We make it across the first four weird things but when we reach the end, we get grab by the hand that pulls us into the weird thing at the end. I do not like that. Mario helps me get through this dark place full of lava. Jumping Cheep Cheeps jump out of the lava and toward us. Mario throws hammers at them while we run to the end. We go into the pipe at the end and get a box containing a Super Leaf. We clear this place and get back out. I don't want to get grab by those hands ever again. The airship that was in front of us is now gone. Luigi must have made it out and moved on to beating the airship. We go into the pipe to the next place.

This place is very dark. I can't see anything in here. We move around and find the next stage. This stage is very dark and looks like the background at the end of the stages we cleared in the other worlds. We carefully go through this place while dodging and beating the bad guys.

The next stage has already been cleared by Luigi. I end up going to the wrong place as I can't see a thing in here. Mario helps me and we go to the small castle. This castle is like a maze. I don't know which door to take. There are moving floors and brick boxes that are in our way. After walking around, we find the way out. We face Boom Boom on the moving floor. We beat him the same way as the others while being careful of the moving floor.

We go to the pipe which takes us to the next place. I can see now, this place is not too dark. It looks like Luigi cleared the path for us. Me and Mario go to the big, scary castle at the end. This castle is very dangerous. There are statues that shoot lasers at us. I have no idea where to go or what door to take. I follow Mario around and after a while we make it to Bowser. He looks different from the time I first met him. He is still big and green but he looks like he has yellow hair at the back of his head.

"Julie, you go over there where it's safe while I go fight him," Mario says to me. "I don't want you to get hurt."

I run back to the other end and watch Mario fights Bowser. Bowser breathes fires at Mario but Mario dodges them by jumping over them. Bowser then jumps up into the air above Mario. He falls straight down, trying to squash Mario. Mario moves out of the way. Bowser falls down onto the brick floor, breaking the bricks under him. He then carries on breathing fires at Mario. Mario dodges them again and moves out of the way whenever Bowser tries to squash him from above. They keep doing that until Bowser breaks through the very bottom of the bricks. There is nothing underneath there so Bowser falls straight down. He crashes to the very bottom which causes the whole room to shake.

I smile as Mario beats him. I follow Mario into the door where we rescue Princess Toadstool. She is so happy to see us that she makes a joke about how she is in another castle just like the Toad did back when I first met Mario. Luigi comes in and sees that we rescue her. I run to Luigi and hug him.

"Good girl," Luigi says to me while he pats me on my head.

We are all very happy. After we take her home, we all say our goodbye and I go back home through the portal.

The title should already gave you the clue. The game I found myself in is Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES. That is a fun game I played. I remembered when me and my sister played this; when we go against each other, we always tried to get each other's cards. We laughed when we did that. It may seemed like I was being lazy but the reason why I didn't described the stages of the last few worlds was because I never make it to those worlds. I have problem mostly on world 3 and then on world 4. I did finish this game in Super Mario All Stars on the SNES.
