Chapter Twenty- Six: Sickness

Khari stared at Korra laying in a bed at her Gran Gran's healing hut for a moment before she walked over to everyone. Very few people knew about what this sickness was and the ones who did knew very little about it. When Khari stood with her Gran Gran she was with Tonraq and Senna about to fill them in on the situation. Before anyone could say anything Suyin and Baatar came in with two sweat covered coughing children of their own. Khari stared at Opal and Kuvira for a moment before she took a step back. She bumped into one of the tables in the hut, making everyone stare at her for a moment. The Royal family came as soon as they heard the news.

"Khari, are you okay sweetheart?" Senna asked.

"We've seen this. Our family has been through this. I was a little girl when I caught this myself. I was maybe three. I got so sick they thought I was going to die. It spread through the children of Republic City like fire. They thought Mica and I'd be safe because we rarely left the island, but I wasn't. No one really knows how I got it and I remember being so weak all the time. No one really knows how it started or how it ended it just kinda vanished. We all thought it was odd, but we were happy it did."

"Here let me take them," Katara sighed.

"No! Aunt Kya, Jia and I will be taking care of the children that come in sick. I know you're the best healer in the world but your also very old so you could catch this yourself for all we know. Please understand Gran Gran, I know the risk of me helping but I've had it before maybe I won't catch it again."

Everyone stared at her for a moment before she took Kuvira from her Uncle Baatar. Kya grabbed Opal and the two made their way to the small healing room. After they laid both girls down Khari looked around the room. She knew if it spread like when she was a child, they wouldn't have the space. Jia walked in with Huan coughing, sweating, and gasping occasionally. Kya and Khari both looked at each other for a moment. Khari walked over to Korra as Jia laid Huan down and Kya started to get their things ready. She sat next to the young girl for a moment, pushing her hair out of her now sweaty face. She covered the young avatar as she started to shiver. She turned when she heard someone throwing up to see Kuvira hanging over the side of her bed, vomiting on the floor. The three women sighed as they made their way to Kuvira. Kya cleaned the vomit off the floor, Khari wiped Kuvira up and Jia tried to see if there was anything she could give her to help. Khari didn't know if she could take anymore right now. She wondered if it spread this fast when she was a little girl. She knew it spread fast but there were already four people in the healing hut. Before she could ask her Aunt Kya how bad the spread was when she was a child the door slid open, making her turn around. She froze when she saw Iroh holding an unconscious Kimiko who was covered in sweat and a small rash. They have it she told herself. She looked at how pink his cheeks were and the sweat starting to form on his forehead. She sensed his heart rate was different and he looked a little unsteady on his feet. She took a step towards them but before she could take another he fainted, dropping Kimiko where he stood. She stayed where she was for a moment before she ran out of the room. She felt the sting in her eyes and her stomach feel queasy. It was becoming too much. Everyone that was sick were people she cared about. It was spreading so fast. She managed to make it to the front door of Katara's hut when she puked. When she finally stopped, she wiped her mouth and turned around to see everyone giving her a sympathetic look. She gave a faint smile, but it was hard for her when she was everyone come in and she didn't know if she could do anything. She felt someone touch her arm, so she looked up to see her Gran Gran. She soon felt the Water Tribe woman's hand on her face. She knew exactly what she was doing. She was making sure she wasn't sick. Khari placed her hand on her Gran Gran's and assured her she was okay. Khari stopped as she had a flashback.

Khari started to cough a little bit as she rubbed her eyes. She felt so weak. Her cheeks felt warm, and it hurt to breathe. She knew her parents weren't home, but she wanted them. She didn't feel well. She went to look for her Gran Gran as she continued to cough. When she found her Katara dropped what was in her hands and ran over to her. Aang gave her a worried look as she continued to cough. She felt her Gran Gran's cool hand on her cheek, but she didn't care. She started to cough again until she puked.

"Gran Gran, I want mommy. I don't feel good."

Aang told Katara that he would inform both Lin and Tenzin that Khari was sick. Katara carried Khari to her room as she coughed harder. By the time Lin and Tenzin got to the island she was breathing heavier. She was too tired to open her eyes, but she heard them talk. She felt the pain in her body get worse when she coughed again. Lin grabbed Tenzin's arm as the saw the small bits of blood. They didn't understand how she got sick so fast. She was fine that morning but now she was struggling to breathe.

Khari snapped back to reality when she felt someone touch her arm again. She wondered if the fear she felt was written on her face. She tried to hide it, but it wasn't working. She walked back over to the door and paused. She hesitated before she opened the door. Kya and Jia turned to face her as she slowly made her way into the room. She felt a clammy hand grab her, making her turn around. She screamed when she saw a sick Shen Tao and Ling holding the twins. That was everyone. They were all sick. Khari was the only one that wasn't sick. She watched as the twins struggled to breathe. She took a step back, tripping on something. Kya hurried to help her up, but Khari pushed her away. She ran out of the hut and to her hut to grab a few things. She started to dig through her stuff until she found books about healing, herbs, medicine, and things of that nature. As she made her way back, she saw other parents bringing their sick children to the hut. She ran in and soon realized they had no room in the back. She sprinted back outside She raised a bunch of walls and connected them to the hut. She sprinted back in the hut and knocked a small part of the wall out. In the room she created she used her earthbending to create beds. After the new children were placed in the crappy versions of what they had to call beds Khari sat down with the books. She started to read the pages, looking for illnesses close to what was going on. She folded the corners of the pages she thought could help her. Her head shot up when she heard a bowl of water drop. She saw her Aunt Kya and Jia smile at her as they cleaned up their mess. Khari tried to make her list small due to the ingredients needed. When she thought she had a narrowed it down enough she ran out of the room and started to collect the items she needed. Everyone watched as she started to smash an herb before she split it and put it into three small bowls. They watched as she put different ingredients in the three bowls. She grabbed the bowls and slid the door open. She rushed to Korra, pouring one bowl in her mouth. She rushed to a little boy from the tribe and repeated the process. She stared at the third bowl and thought about who she should give it to. There were so many options, but she only had that one bowl. She didn't know why but her eyes stopped on Kimiko. She slowly walked towards Kimiko, staring at the bowl. When she reached the princess, she poured what she hoped was a cure in her mouth. She went and started to monitor the three. Khari turned when she heard coughing then gasping for air. She ran towards a young girl who was coughing up blood then gasping for air. She turned her head to see that what she had tried still wasn't working so it may not work at all. The young girl coughed blood on Khari's outfit, making her look down. Khari grabbed a cool rag and hopped putting it in her forehead would help. She felt the rag start to get warm and she placed it in the water again as the young girl continued to struggle to breathe. She turned around when she didn't hear the young girl struggling to breathe anymore.

"Aunt Kya, I... I think I need you over here."

Kya stopped what she was doing and hurried over to her but stopped when she saw why Khari asked her to come help. Khari looked around the room and wondered how many more would die. She felt her Aunt Kya's hand on her shoulder and watched as she covered the young girl. Khari turned towards the door and started to walk to tell a family they just lost a child. A child that was no older than she was when she found out she was an earthbender. This little girl didn't make it to age five. She slid the door open before she quickly closed it. She slowly made her way to her Gran Gran and Uncle Sokka. The two gave her a concerned look before she finally spoke.

"I need your help. One of the children died and I have to tell her parents. I know Aunt Kya would, but I was with her when she died."

Khari began to describe the young girl which made Sokka and Katara look at each other before they looked at her. They turned to see Hikkari's parents sitting there waiting for news. She closed her eyes and hoped that she could help them. She slid her feet across the ground as she started towards the parents. She stopped in front of the councilman and his wife. The two looked up at each other and their expressions changed.

"Councilman, could you and your wife come with me please?"

"No, whatever news you have just say it," he stated.

"Councilman, I really-"

"Just tell us already!"

"I'm so sorry but your daughter didn't make it. We tried all we could with what we know about this illness. Again, I'm sor-" Khari was cut off when the councilman's wife smacked her in the face.

"You are not sorry. You and our oldest have had issues for years. Sorry means you have to feel bad about what happened. You would be happy about anything bad that happened to this family!" the wife screamed.

Khari clenched her fist before she turned towards the door. She thought of all the things that would be the last thing screamed at her. She didn't want to look at anyone. She opened door the but felt someone grab her arm. She pulled away before slammed the door. Katara sighed as the cracks formed in the wall. Khari punched the ground in anger before she continued to walk. She soon went to the United Forces base to use their radio. She felt the soldiers staring at her, but she continued to walk to the building with the radio. After she asked permission, she sat down and spun the dial until she knew it would reach the correct destination. She took a deep breath as she waited for a response.

"This is Councilman Tenzin. Hello? Is anyone there?" the voice finally came through.

"Daddy, it's Khari. I don't know what to do. I need help. Can you help me?"

"Depends on the situation."

"That illness that sweep through Republic City when I was a little girl. The one that almost killed me. It's here. What did you guys do to help me get better? How long did it take? Daddy, is it something that we can do to help the kids here?"

"The same way you felt better for anything else. My father helped you. He may not have used healing, but he was with you the whole time and even when my mother insisted, he keep his distance he would even pull you in his lap. Your mother and I would try to take you, but you only wanted him. Most children had the illness for two weeks or longer. You had it for maybe a week. That week was horrible for us. The other children just had to ride it out. Maybe Korra can help you."

"Daddy, Korra has it. We lost a child, and the mother is blaming me. I don't think Korra is going to be much help right now."

"That's it I'm putting my foot down with your mother. You are coming home. You are not getting this again. I refuse to let you get that sick."

"Daddy, I can't come home. I'm sorry I have to go help. You did help. You helped my fear go away a bit. I love you. Tell everyone I love them."

Khari got up and sprinted out of the building so fast she never heard Tenzin tell her he loved her and that she may not be scared but now he was. She knew talking to her father may have helped her fear, but it didn't help her with the bigger problem. She was soon at her Gran Gran's hut, but she still didn't have any ideas. When she opened the door, everyone watched her as she walked through the hut. She suddenly stopped at a picture of herself with her Grandpa Aang. She smiled slightly as she stared at the picture. She was sitting with one of the Air Nation stories she loved to hear while he showed her his glider yet again. Her eyes widened a bit before she grabbed the picture off the wall. She looked to see if there was anything written on the back of the picture. When she saw what was written on the picture, she dropped the picture and the frame. Everyone stared at her as she looked at her Gran Gran.

"This picture was taken a few years after I had this very illness. Grandpa Aang didn't show his favoritism much after I got sick. I remember this day. Mom, Dad, and Grandpa Aang got into this big fight. Mom and Dad told him he has two grandchildren, and he should act like it. Grandpa Aang reminded them how they have two children. Daddy made the comment about how the illness almost changed that and how Grandpa Aang wouldn't have been able to favor me anymore. I thought Grandpa Aang was going to level the temple."

"Khari what is your point?" Zuko asked.

"I was Korra's age when that happened." She bent down, picking the picture off the ground. She turned to show everyone the number on the back. "I was only six when my dad used different words but said he wished I didn't make it through whatever this is. Only because my Grandpa Aang favored me more. I don't know I feel like it's the Spirits somehow. Only this time I don't know how to fix it. Daddy said that the way I pulled through it was Grandpa Aang... that's it!"

She sprinted towards her hut, slipping on the ice. She fell to the ground, smashing her face. She felt the sharp ice cut into her face and blood start to come from her head and nose. She slowly put her head up before she put it back down. The pain in her head started to get worse but she managed to keep her eyes open. She lifted her head again, but the pain hurt so bad. She started to close her eyes a bit as she placed her head back on the ice. No! Everyone in there needs you to get up. She told herself. She finally gained enough energy to get herself off the ground. When she stood, she steadied herself a bit before she slowly walked towards her hut. When she entered, she blinked a few times as she searched for her bag. When she finally found it, she started to throw the things she thought would work in her bag before she made her way back to her Gran Gran's hut. When she entered the hut, a few people jumped up to try and help her, but she asked them to sit. She trudged towards the door and slid it open. She fell against the doorway as her vision changed. She tried to take another step forward, but she fell into healing room. She smashed her face on the ground yet again. Kya and Jia turned to her as Katara ran towards her. Katara sat her up to see the wounds on her face. Kya handed Katara the things she would need to clean Khari up while Kenzo picked her off the ground. When he sat her down Katara tried to open her mouth and pull her tongue out. She wanted to know why there was blood coming from her mouth. When she finally got it open, she saw the Khari had damaged her tongue pretty badly. She tried to hold Khari's mouth open while she fixed her tongue. She started to cry as she struggled a bit. Senna and Tonraq smiled briefly before they stood to help her. Tonraq grabbed Khari's jaw to pull it down while Senna pulled her tongue out. Katara smiled as she tended to the wound. Katara became a tad concerned with the fact Khari had very little reaction to her care. She nodded when she was done, letting Senna and Tonaq know she was finished. She examined the small laceration at the top of Khari's forehead to the side. While Katara fixed the laceration Khari had a flashback.

She stood there for a bit as she realized what was about to appear in front of her. She felt something bump her, making her turn. She smiles at her Grandpa Aang as the turned to watch the event he tried to make happy. He had gotten sick but was still able to do things. Khari watched as her younger self ran up to her Grandpa Aang. She watched as he started to cough a bit and she tried not to cry. She remembered the days he coughed and had problems stopping. She watched as her younger self and her Grandpa Aang do a bunch of tricks with their bending. She smiled as she continued to watch. Her expression changed when she saw her parents and she saw the same expression on her younger self. She listened as they fought with her Grandpa Aang about how she should know better. That he was sick and to stop being selfish and wanting to play all the time. Her grandfather came to her defense by saying she was not being selfish at all. She is simply a child and children like to play. He was not going to lay down and wait to die so if she wanted to play, he was going to play with his granddaughter. She covered her ears before her father could say the next part. Hearing it once when she was younger was enough. When she looked up and uncovered her ears her mother had her younger self by the collar of the shirt, pinned against a pillar. She saw the wounds on both her parents faces.

"Lin, enough! She is not one of your criminals you get to throw around. She is your daughter. Now drop her and don't you dare ask or what. By the spirits you do not want to know what will happen if you do not drop Khari. I said drop her!" Aang shouted.

Khari grabbed her Grandpa Aang as she watched the argument unfold. She never understood why things got so escalated so quickly they just did. She took a few steps back to try and avoid watching the rest. She shook her head and started to cry. He pulled her close, so she didn't have to watch anymore. She knew everyone was right he always protected her. She looked up at him to see his usual smile then looked back to see her younger self and a younger version of her grandparents. She turned back to face him before she pulled away.

"Grandpa Aang, I don't understand. What does this mean?"

"Just remember the answer is always inside of you. Always."

Katara had laid Khari's head on her lap as she slowly ran her hand over face. Everyone watched the aging Water Tribe woman as the occasional tear ran down her cheek. Khari started to move her head a bit before she slowly started to open her eyes. She closed her eyes for a bit longer before she started to blink. No one had noticed she was awake yet. She tried to think about the advice she got.

"The answer is always inside of me... Oh my spirits the answer is always inside of me. How could I be so stupid?" She jumped up scaring everyone. "I have the answer and I always have I just didn't know it. I don't know why I didn't think of this before."

Everyone gave her a funny look thinking maybe she was acting weird because she hit her head. She started to look for one of her Gran Gran's bowls. She grabbed a large bowl, ripped one of her sleeves off her shirt, and grabbed one of her daggers. She propped her leg on the table and placed the bowl.

"Khari, what are you doing?!" Sokka shouted.

"What I have to. I have the answer, but you have to trust me. I'm the cure."

She pushed the blade against the bottom of her leg before she pulled it across quickly. She screamed as the pain in her leg reached both her hip and foot. She placed her foot down before she grabbed the bowl from the ground. She tied the part of her sleeve she ripped off on her wound. Everyone stared at her with wide eyes as she limped to where the other ingredients were. She started to grab them and pour them in the bowl as quickly as she could before she made her way for the room where the sick lay. She opened the door to see no one had gotten better at all. With the ingredients that had been poured in you couldn't tell that she added something a little different. She presented them to her Aunt Kya and Jia, and they started to give everyone what Khari hoped would be the cure. Khari went over to grab a few things to stitch up the wound on her leg. The three women observed the sick over the next few hours to look for any changes. Khari would go out and update everyone. After about twelve hours they saw slight improvements. Khari notified the parents of the improvements but when she sat down between Iroh and Korra she started to close her eyes a bit. She tried to stay awake but with everything that had happened it was getting difficult. She laid her head on Iroh's bed and hoped for continued improvements. The following morning Kya and Jia turned to the door when they heard a commotion. Kya went to open the door to see what was going on. When she opened the door, she saw a few of the parents arguing and Tenzin standing there. He looked behind her to see Khari sleeping on the floor between Korra and Iroh. He pulled the item he brought closer to him as he smiled slightly. Kya stared at the item in his arms and wondered how he had gotten his hands on it. She had sworn Khari had come to the Southern Water Tribe with it.

"She left it at the island that night. It was one of the last things I had of her, so I wanted to keep it, but I know she always wanted this when she was scared. I'd be selfish if I kept if from her any longer. I... I messed up, Kya."

Kya gave him a small smile, trying to see what would be best for Khari. She sighed as she moved to the side. He stared at her for a moment before he took a step towards the door. He held his breath as he entered the room. When he was finally next to her, he crouched down. He pulled the second item she left behind. He smiled at the stitched up flying lemur stuffed animal in his hand. He placed it in her arm as he held the first item even closer. He didn't want to let it go but it wasn't his to keep. He laid her favorite blanket across her. He watched her pull it up to her face just like when she was younger. He slowly reached out towards her but pulled away when started to move a bit under the blanket. Katara and Kya watched as Tenzin tried with Khari. She rolled over and grabbed a small handful of Tenzin's cape. He froze as he stared at her hand. He took his council pin off before he took his cape off. He watched as she instantly pulled it up to her face. He smiled as he remembered her doing that very thing when she was younger. He pushed the hair out of her face and tilted his head a bit. He ran his fingers over the wound on her forehead lightly. She opened her eyes a bit but closed them again. Tenzin looked up when he felt someone staring at him. He saw Iroh staring at him weakly.

"What are you doing here? Why are you near her? Come to break her heart again?" he asked before he started to cough. "I thought I told you to stay away from her. You cause her nothing but pain. You have guilt for everything you've done to her, so you have one foot in, but you're too scare of Lin, so you have one foot out. Lin may not say it but having children was not what she wanted. She wanted you and that is what she had to do to make you happy and stay. The cost was the only child that could bond with her. She couldn't keep the appearance you two expected of her. Now get out of here before she wakes up."

Tenzin looked down at her one more time before he heard the creak of a bed. When he looked up again, he saw Iroh trying to sit up. He quickly stood and exited the room. He knew Iroh was right. He was only going to cause Khari pain. He couldn't bring her home because Lin had no clue that he was there. She thought he was conducting business somewhere at one of the other Air Temples. It wasn't that he was afraid of her it was he just didn't want to argue about it. They argued about Khari for months after Lin told her to leave. He felt someone grab his wrist, making him stop. He had been so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't realize what was going on around him or if anyone was talking to him. When he turned around, he found himself staring at a tired Khari. She held his cape in her hands as she tried to smile at him. She tried to hand it to him, but he shook his head and pushed it back towards her. He pulled her close and kissed the top of her head before he rested his chin on the top of her head.

"Is he sick?" Kya asked.

"Is Lin sick?" Bumi asked.

"Are they both dying?" Izumi questioned.

"Will you three be nice." Katara snapped before she hit the three with a water whip.

Khari pulled away before she turned to go back to where the sick lay. Tenzin stood where he was for a few minutes after Khari shut the door. When Khari turned, she could see that everyone had started to make some improvements while she slept. She saw that some were now awake. Some finally had color to them. Some no longer were covered in sweat. She was hoping that within a week they could all go home. She looked down at the cape in her hand before she moved from the spot and stuck it up to her face. She inhaled deeply. Home. She walked over to Korra who was coughing but finally awake. She froze when she stepped on her flying lemur stuffed animal. She bent down and picked it off the ground. She continued to Korra, still holding the stuffed animal. Khari began asking her questions, hoping she could figure out how this happened again. She continued around the room, but it seemed like there was no real cause again. She wondered if this would be something that would happen again every couple of years. She walked over to Shen Tao who still looked sick. She wondered why he wasn't getting better like everyone else. She crouched down next to him and felt his face. He was still warm, and he still had a cough. She heard him wheezing which concerned her a bit. He opened his eyes a bit and looked at her. She could see the exhaustion written on his face.

"Khari, why does it seem like everyone is getting better but I'm not? Promise me you are not letting me die. Tell me you aren't letting me die so you can be with him and think about what if. Tell me!"

He started to cough even harder as she stood there. Everyone turned their attention to Khari and Shen Tao. She turned and ran out the door. She sat down next to her Gran Gran and decided that she was going to wait to hear news like everyone else. She couldn't, no she wouldn't take anymore abuse from the sick or their families. She heard the door open, and someone dropped her favorite blanket across her lap. She stood and pushed past the person and made her way outside with her things. She opened the door of her hut to find Raina sleeping in the middle of the room. The two ate before Khari locked them in the hut until she was ready to be around everyone else.

One week later

Kya and Jia had given everyone permission to go home. Hikkari's parents had lost one of their three sick children. That had been the only death from the whole sickness that struck the tribe. Everyone knew Khari was never going to forgive herself for it. The parents were told the children should still rest after returning home. Khari hadn't returned to the healing hut since the incident with Shen Tao. She held her father's cape in her hand as she stared at a picture of herself with him. She turned when she heard a knock at her door. When she opened it, she found her aunts and Izumi standing there. She gestured for them to enter as she clenched the cape. Kya and Suyin looked down at her hand as she pulled the cape a bit closer. They watched as she became possessive of the item. Kya reached out towards her, making her pull the cape closer to her body. The three women stared at her before they asked if she wanted to see her friends and family. She gave them a small smile before she nodded. They watched as she slowly placed the cape down. The three women smiled at her as she followed them to the hut. When she opened the door, she saw how exhausted they were, but they all looked much better. She walked over to Korra and hugged her. She felt a tear roll down her cheek. She thought she had lost Korra which meant she lost her Granpa Aang again. She felt a hand touch her back and Korra looked up. Khari turned around to see Iroh smiling at her. She stood and stared at him as he continued to smile at her. She pushed him a bit, making everyone move just a bit.

"Don't you ever do that to me again. I thought you were going to die. I was scared I was going to lose you. Who is going to be there to clean up my injures? Who will be there when Daddy breaks my heart again? It has always been you. It has to be you." She grabbed his face. "Even Korra sees that I love you now-"

Iroh stopped her midsentence by kissing her. She pulled away from him and gave him a look. She soon heard someone clear their throat. She turned her head to see Shen Tao standing next to her. She turned away from him, letting him know she was going to ignore him. He and Iroh stared at each other before they both stared at her. He sighed as he took a step closer.

"Khari, I'm sor-" Khari covered her ears before Shen Tao could finish what he was saying. "Seriously? That is so childish!"

"Childish? I'm childish? You asked me if I was letting you die so I could be with Iroh. I am not the childish one here."

"You think you'd be in a good mood. Not only did your boyfriend live but Daddy came and pretended he loved you for a bit. That's all you ever cried about in Zaofu. I mean he was pretty convincing."

Khari's eyes widened as she clenched her fist. Everyone watched as she turned towards him. Kenzo sprinted in the room and started to pull her away. She struggled against him before she finally caught his eyes. She pulled away and faced everyone. She wondered if it was true. Did he really care this time or was he only pretending? Everyone could tell what she was thinking by the look on her face, so she didn't ask. She went to leave but her Aunt Kya stepped in front of her. She pulled her close and kissed the top of her head.

"I think he is trying sweetheart. You'll have to be patient. In time we will see what choice he is going to make. I want you to know we are here no matter the decision."

"Does it make me a bad person if a small part of me doesn't want him anymore? I mean I love him, and he will always be Daddy, but I don't know."

"You are allowed to feel any way you want. He didn't treat you the best for years so no one would blame you."

She smiled as she thought about it. She went through this sickness not once but twice without him. The first time he was there but not as much as he could have been. He came around this time but that was only after he found out Korra had it. She was just so happy that the illness whatever it was had finally passed. She knew that she was going to have to wait some time to train Korra now. The young avatar would need time to heal. If the White Lotus argued with her, she would threaten to expose their secret. She wasn't just going to train Korra she was going to try and be her friend. It seemed like she didn't get out of the compound to make any of her own. She would protect her too. The little time she had spent here she realized that she loved being here with everyone. Even with all the bad that had happened lately. She couldn't wait to train Korra. To show everyone that she had done something important. That she made her mark.

(Author's Note: So, I wanted to do something out of Khari's past since I have done a few time skips. I also wanted something that would bring Tenzon back into the light a bit. I also wanted to bring the Tribe together a bit more. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Reviews always welcome and appreciated.)
