Chapter 1: Zuko's Nightmare
Prince Zuko kneeled before his father, the Avatar in chains beside him. He looked up at the Fire Lord as he addressed him. "Father, I have brought you the Avatar."
The Fire Lord's response sounded amused. "Very good, now you can spend the rest of your useless life in exile."
Zuko started and replied "But I have completed my task! Why are you refusing to lift the exile?"
The Fire Lord smirked as he responded, with definite amusement "Because, I never intended for you to come back."
Zuko launched himself to his feet as he yelled "but that isn't fair!"
The girl beside the throne laughed harshly and said "Life isn't fair, little brother."

Zuko stood alone on a beach, watching the steel ship vanish into the distance as a red glow lit up everything and a comet hit the ground, causing an explosion. As the wave of fire was about to envelop the prince, he woke up, covered in a cold sweat, as a dragon shaped cloud dissipated.

Yes, I know it was short, but the next part is totally different, and needs it's own chapter. The next chapter happens at the exact same time as this one, but that's all I'm tellin'!
