Hi everybody, here's another of my chapter, enjoy.

"Julie!"
I hear somebody calling my name. It sounds like two people are calling my name. I look around and see Amy and Crystal. I'm happy to see them. "Amy, Crystal!"
"Do you know where we are?" Amy asks.
I look around and see that we are outside in town. It looks like a normal town. "I don't know," I say to Amy.
"We could ask that girl there," says Crystal.
We go to the girl with blue hair. The girl with blue hair looks like she is getting ready to fight us. "Wait a minute! We're not here to fight! We-" before Amy could finish what she's saying, something flashes in front of us.
"Enemy!" the blue haired girl shouts. "Are you Rogles?"
Who's Rogles? A guy wearing armour with two crystal balls on his face and one eye appears in front of us. "Ha ha ha…" he laughs at the blue haired girl. "Are you the Valis warrior?"
"Who are you?" the blue haired girl asks.
"Megas the emperor of darkness, I'm waiting for you to come to Vecanti, Syd." Megas says before he disappears.
"Megas… Vecanti is in danger. Sword of Valis!" The blue haired girl's ice cream turns into a sword.
Swords appear in my, Amy's and Crystal's hands. "What's going on?!" says Crystal.
"Swords of Valis?! No, there's only one sword of Valis," says the blue haired girl. "They're powerful swords with the same power as the sword of Valis. That would make you Valis warriors."
"We'll help you Violet," I say to the blue haired girl.
"Violet?" says the blue haired girl.
"That's your name; you said it when you got the sword."
"Oh, no, that's the name of the sword and it's called Valis, not Violet. My name is Syd."
"Hello Syd, my name is Amy." Amy points to Crystal. "This is Princess Crystal." She then points at me. "And this is Julie. We'll help you beat Megas."
"Thank you."
We run through the town. There're monsters in the town now. There're these red and green bad guys, a jumping bad guys in blue clothes, a red and yellow rhino-like bad guys and little green flying bad guys that shoot at us from above. Our swords can shoot small beams at the bad guys. We have to aim our sword upward to beat the flying bad guys above us. We keep going and jump on top of the wall.
A flying bird bad guy shows up with a gun. "Ah, ha, hand over the sword of Valis!"
"No I won't!" Syd shouts at the flying bird bad guy.
The bird bad guy shoots at us. Syd uses her sword to shoot beams at the bird bad guy's attacks which destroy them. The bird bad guy keeps shooting at us. We help Syd shoot down the bird bad guy's attacks with our swords' power while Syd shoots the bird bad guy. We beat the bird bad guy and get new things. Syd gets a china dress and we all get a new attack for our sword. The new attack is a wide beam which is much bigger than the small beam we are using. Syd happily jumps up and down as we won our fight against the bird bad guy. She puts on the pink china dress and we go to the next area.
We jump up the steps and go into a place with a roof on top. We fight more bad guys and carry on through this place until we face with a brown and yellow dinosaur-like bad guy. Syd jumps up onto the wall and shoots him in the face. The dinosaur bad guy fights back by shooting at us from his mouth. Me, Amy and Crystal run around the dinosaur bad guy and shoot him with our swords. The dinosaur bad guy doesn't know who to attack and is turning around, trying to figure out who to attack. We easily beat the dinosaur bad guy. Syd jumps up and down, happy that we won against the dinosaur bad guy. We jump down to the hole at the side and go underground. We follow the path and meet with a very big red dragon bad guy.
"Why do you want the sword of Valis?" Syd asks the red dragon bad guy.
"You will find out when you get to Vecanti! You will never win the fight with the Red Fighter-Dragon, Zaluga!"
Zaluga slowly moves toward us. The whole place shakes when he moves. Me, Amy and Crystal aim our swords at Zaluga's face and shoot using the wide beam attack. Syd jumps high into the air using double jumps and shoots Zaluga's face while in the air. Zaluga doesn't like that so he moves closer to us and tries to grab us with his big hand. We all jump out of the way. Zaluga sees that he missed us so he moves away from us. We keep attack him as he moves back. Zaluga stops moving back and opens his mouth to fire three fireballs at us. We get hit by the fireballs. Zaluga moves toward us again to grab us. We recover from the attack and duck down just in time to avoid Zaluga's hand. Zaluga moves back again to shoot more fireballs at us. This time we know what he's doing. We use our sword beam attacks to stop the fireballs from hitting us. We keep shooting at his face until we beat him. We all happily jump up and down when we beat him.
"Sword of Valis, lead us to Vecanti!" Syd holds up her sword and her clothes change to a different clothes. She is now wearing yellow armours. The sword takes us to an underground cave with spikes at the top. We all look around and then a girl with red hair shows up in front of us. She is wearing clothes similar to Syd.
"Reiko! Why are you here?" Syd says to the red haired girl.
"I am always with you," says Reiko.
"What happened at Vecanti?"
"The leftover forces of Megas have rebelled! Valia' life is in danger."
"Valia's?"
"Hurry!" Reiko says before she disappears.
"She's your best friend?" Amy asks Syd.
"Yes, but she died in the war," says Syd.
"I'm sorry," says Amy. We are all sad to hear that.
"Was you two fighting against the bad guys when that happened?" I ask.
"No, Reiko was brainwashed by Rogles and we were forced to fight each other," says Syd. She is very sad when she said that. "We must hurry and save Vecanti!"
We jump over the hole in the floor and jump over the wall where we face with a lizard with four arms, all his hands are holding swords. "Hee, hee, hee! I am Necrodepto, the Red Thunder-Dragon! I'm going to smash you!"
Necrodepto slowly walks toward us. We use our swords to shoot him. Necrodepto runs very fast when he gets hit. He bumps into us and then shoots at us with his swords. We all fall down after getting hit. We get back up to fight him. Me, Crystal and Syd run in and fight him with our swords. While we are hitting his swords away, Amy uses her sword to shoot wide beams at Necrodepto. We happily jump up and down when we beat Necrodepto. We carry on through the cave. A big flying balloon bad guy attacks us. It is very dangerous as it keeps moving toward us to hurt us. The worst part is that when we beat it, it turns into two small bad guys and when we beat the two small bad guys, they turn into two even smaller bad guys. We jump over holes and beat jumping bad guys in different colours. We use the flying platforms to cross over the spikes on the floor. We have to be careful of the flower bad guy that spits dangerous things out of his mouth. There are also lots of those big flying balloon bad guys. We carefully beat them and jump over the wall to get a heart which makes us feel better. I scream and jump back when I see two bug bad guys on the floor. They roll toward me. Syd quickly beats them using her sword.
"Julie, are you okay?" Amy asks me.
"I don't like them!" I say to Amy.
"I see that you do not like bugs," says Crystal.
"I don't like them!" I say it again.
"We'll handle the bugs while you help us beat the other monsters," says Amy.
We beat more bad guys and collect a round red ball. We jump over the holes to the other side and collect a small heart and a diamond. A red bad guy with a sword quickly attacks us. We use our swords to shoot beams at him. This bad guy is so fast that it looks like he is being followed by copies of himself. We dodge his attacks and keep shooting him until we beat him. Syd gets another suit called the guard suit and we get a new attack called the homing beam. Syd puts on the guard suit which looks like the yellow armour she wore only it silver. I like the yellow armour better.
In the next area, we make our way upward while beating the bad guys. We use the new attack which shoots little star shaped beams that home in on the bad guys. It is very useful as it hits bad guys that are far away. We don't need to aim our swords with this attack. We collect a yellow star which makes us invincible. We quickly jump up from floor to floor, beating the bad guys. I notice that if the bad guys are small enough then our homing attacks will sometime fly around them without hitting them. We have to be careful when that happens. We make it to the top where we jump outside.
It looks like snow outside here. We run across until we see a castle. A bad guy with white hair and a sword appears in front of us. She looks like a girl so I think she's a girl bad guy.
"Get out of our way!" Syd shouts at the bad guy.
"Ha, you are the Valis warriors," says the bad guy. Okay…I think she's actually a boy and not a girl but he looks like a girl. "The blue haired is strong headed! I am the Black Panther Dragon, the last general of Megas' forces. Come warriors of Valis, I'll fight with you!"
The Black Panther Dragon swings his sword which sends a big beam at us. We jump out of the way. Syd hits back with her homing beams. When the Black Panther Dragon gets hit, he raises his sword into the air which sends swords flying down on us from above. We make sure to keep out of the way to avoid his attack. We keep our distance from him and keep attacking him with our homing beams until we beat him.
We go into the castle where we face with more bad guys. There're these green men with swords, flying green things that fly right at us, big purple turtles that fly slowly and a jumping blue fish. We beat them using our swords and carefully cross over the dangerous green water using flying platforms that look like tables. A long dragon snake bad guy attacks us after we cross the green water. He quickly flies around and attacks us by flying into us and biting us. We keep our distance and use our homing beams to attack him. We move away from him when he gets too close to us. When we beat him, Syd gets new clothes and we all get a new attack. The speed suit looks like the other amour but it's blue and it makes Syd run very fast. The 3 way beam is three small round beams and it's very useful. It attacks diagonally up, middle and diagonally down at the same time. Syd puts on the speed suit. A flying table platform appears and we jump onto it. We ride it up, beating the bad guys with our new attack. On our way up, we collect a small hearts and a little doll. The little doll looks like Syd. We go up to the top and into the next area.
We beat more bad guys and carry on toward the flying platform table. I look down to see that there is another floor under the flying platform table. I jump down and run across to the end to find another doll. I go back to the others who help me get on top of the flying platform table. I show them what I found. On the next floor we face with lots of bad guys. There are flying green men with swords that will kick us when they get close to us. We shoot them down with our swords. We cross over more green waters and then fight with a big purple machine. This purple machine is hard to beat. It jumps whenever we attack it and it shoots an orange round beam that splits into lots of orange round beams. It's hard to dodge that attack because the orange round beams attack everywhere. We dodge the purple machine by making it jumps so that we can run under it. When we beat it, the top part of the machine disappears but the bottom part keeps attacking us. We keep attacking and dodging it until we beat it. We jump down the hole and run across to a green place.
A very big blue and white monster appears behind us, blocking us in. "You must be the girls that are fighting against our Emperor Megas!"
"Megas? Who is he?" Syd asks him.
"He is our great leader! All enemies of Megas must die! Now you must die…!"
He moves toward us and fires red bombs from his head. The red bombs fall onto us from above. We move around, trying to avoid the attacks. Syd is going too fast that she accidentally crashes into the very big bad guy and gets herself hurt. We don't get much space in here because of the very big bad guy. Syd quickly changes into her guard suit to avoid running into the very big bad guy. We use our 3 way beam to attack him. He only takes damage from his face. He moves back and then opens up his stomach. A red long dragon-like thing flies out and toward us. We quickly duck down to avoid it. Syd keeps on attacking him with the 3 way beam. We move back when he moves toward us. He attacks us using the red bombs again. That attack is very hard to dodge, especially when we are in such a small space. We keep getting hit about once or twice. He moves back to fire another red dragon thing. We can easily dodge that attack. We are too hurt and it feels like one more hit will defeat us when we finally beaten the very big bad guy.
We go to the next room where we find out that we are too late. The person we came to save is now gone. The bad guys have got her. We are very sad about it. Me, Amy and Crystal sit down on the floor to rest up after that fight with the very big bad guy.
"This isn't fair," says Amy.
"This is not supposed to happen," says Crystal.
I see the purple haired girl comes in. "Sorry we couldn't save your sister," I say to the purple haired girl.
"Sister?" says the purple haired girl.
"The bad guys got her before we can save her," I say to her.
"That wasn't my sister, she is my mother."
"What?! But you said sister…"
"I was talking to Syd, she is my twin sister."
"Wait! You and Syd are twin sisters?!" says Crystal.
Amy looks closely at her. "You may have different colour hair but your faces look quite similar."
"I wanted to thank you for helping my sister. Can you come with me please?" the purple haired girl says to us. We follow her to a room with a box in the middle.
Syd is standing on one side of the box. "Valia! It… It's too late… I wasn't strong enough."
"Sister… I couldn't save…our mother…" says the purple haired girl.
"Who is Megas?"
"He is a dark lord who has been sealed between dimensions a long time ago."
"How did the dark lord get out?"
"In the confusion of the rebellion, someone unlocked the gate. Now they are weak. Their only hope left is the sword of Valis. Megas is no match for us. My dear sister and your friends, will you help us?"
"Of course we will," says Crystal.
"We'll do everything we can to help," says Amy.
"Yeah, we'll help," I say.
Just then a woman shows up above the box. "Syd! Valna!" she says to the twin sisters.
"Valia!" both Syd and Valna shout.
"Syd, you must defend the freedom of Vecanti. Go and defeat Megas!"
"Yes, I shall!" says Syd.
Valia turns to us. "Julie, Amy, Crystal. Megas' forces may be too much for Syd to face which is why you were summoned here. The sword of Valis miraculously created those swords you are using. Though those swords you are using are not as powerful as the Sword of Valis, their powers are similar to the Sword of Valis. Will you continue to assist Syd and help her defeat Megas?"
Me, Amy and Crystal look at each other. We smile and nod our heads. "We will!" we all say to Valia together.
"May fate be with you!" Valia says to us.
Syd holds up her sword. She changes clothes to red, yellow and white armour. She looks cool in that. The next place looks…empty. The only things in here are bad guys. A green round thing with eyes attacks us by biting us. We hit him with our attacks before he can hurt us. I scream when I see a spider monster spiting spider web at us. Syd quickly defeats the spider monster. We jump up the mountains to the top. Flying green monsters fly above us and use their tails to shoot at us. We beat them by shooting beams at them. We beat more green monsters and we carry on forward over the mountains. We collect lots of good things at the top of the small mountains. We jump down to face with a bad guy in grey armour. He slowly walks toward us and throws his ball and chain at us. We stay up on the mountain and shoot him with the 3 way beams from above him. He tries to shoot us with beams from his hand but he misses us, and his ball and chain can't reach us. We easily beat him. He then turns into a flying long snake-like monster. He slowly flies toward us. We run and jump to dodge him. We attack him with our 3 way beam even though we seem to miss him most of the time. After beating him, our beams become a bit powerful. They are a bit bigger now.
We cross more mountains in the next area. Weird green jumping robot-like bad guys attack us. We beat them with our powerful beam attacks. In the next area, we go across the grey floor beating round green monsters and flying green monsters. We face with a red and black robot bad guy on a black flying board. He uses his stick to shoot us. It's very hard to dodge him when there's a small hill in the middle. We jump onto the middle of the hill and duck down. The bad guy flies around, trying to find a good place to attack us. We duck down in a little circle, back to back with each other. That way the bad guy won't be able to attack us from behind. We shoot at the bad guy with our 3 way beam when he flies past us. The bad guy still can't find a good place to shoot us. When we beat him, he comes off the flying board and flies around. That flying board looks like it has a face and it can fly by itself. The bad guy is still looking for a good place to shoot us. I'm glad he can't find a good place or else he'll shoot us with his stick. We have to stay down to avoid the flying bad guy and the flying board. If we accidentally let the flying board hit us, we may end up on the flying board and we'll crash into the bad guy. We keep on shooting until we beat him. Our beam attacks are even bigger and more powerful. We run across toward a building.
A purple, yellow and grey bad guy shows up in front of the building. "My name is Hizen! You should be honoured to fight me!"
"No! You are the one who has the honour to fight with us!" says Syd.
"You silly little girl!" says Hizen.
Why a minute, what are they talking about? Does that make Hizen a good guy? I ask Amy and Crystal about it. "Oh no, that doesn't make him a good guy," says Amy.
"I read in a book once that mention honour. It means high respect. What Hizen was saying is that we should be grateful for fighting him because he is powerful and very skilful. But Syd said that he should be the one grateful for fighting with us as we are powerful and skilful warriors. I mean we beaten all of Megas' forces, did we not?!" says Crystal.
Oh, so Hizen thinks that we should be happy that we're fighting him because he is strong. Now I understand. He's still a bad guy. Hizen attacks us by spinning around toward us with spikes pointing out. Me and Amy dodge him by jumping out of the way while Crystal and Syd jump over him. Hizen sometime spins under the floor. We have to wait for him to come back out before we can attack him. We keep hitting his face with our beam attacks until we beat him. Hizen changes so that he can fly in the sky. I see that his knees are the jets that make him fly. We stay away from him and shoot him with our 3 way beam. Hizen attacks by shooting lasers at us. We use our beam attacks to stop Hizen's attacks. We keep attacking until we beat him. I thought we won until we see that Hizen turns into a small flying purple bug monster. Ewwwww, I don't like that! He attacks us by spitting out lots of green balls at us. It is very hard to hit him with the 3 way beam as he is too small to hit so we change our attacks to the homing beam. The homing beam goes straight at Hizen and sometimes goes around him. Hizen sometime flies around before he carries on shooting us. It is a long battle but we beat Hizen.
We go inside the building where we ride a lift up. I look around. I don't like this place, it looks like we are inside a body. I can see bones in the background. Ices, rocks and round grey monsters attack us in this place. We beat them with our swords. We keep going up to the top and then we move diagonally up right. We beat more bad guys like the spinning coins until we face with a bad guy in white and purple armour with yellow hair. She shoots fireballs from her stomach and attacks by flying at us. We dodge her attacks and block her fireball attacks with the 3 way beam. We keep attacking her until we beat her. We reach the very top where we find ourselves in space. The stars and rocks are moving very quickly in the background.
Megas appears above us. "Well, I was waiting for you impatiently, Syd."
"What!" says Syd.
"Awwww, how very rude of us to keep you waiting," says Crystal. I know she is making fun of him.
"And it seems you have brought some friends with you," Megas says to Syd. "No matter, it's only a matter of time before I rule the whole world."
"I won't let you do it," says Syd.
"Yeah, we won't let you do it!" I shout at Megas.
"I will decide your final fate!" Megas says before he attacks us.
Megas floats around above us. We can only see his face and his top body which is cover by his cape. We shoot upward at him. Megas sends two pink lightnings down at us. We dodge them. The pink lightnings then move out toward us. We didn't expect that to happen so we get hit by them. Megas keeps attacking using that attack. We find out that the best way to dodge the lightnings is to stay under Megas when he attacks. The two lightnings always leave a space under Megas' face. We keep attacking him until we beat him.
Megas appears in front of us. He has no cape now and we can see his whole body. He attacks us by throwing a beam from his hands at us. The beam is like water when it hits the floor. It splashes little puddles of beam from the floor. We jump away from it to avoid getting hurt. He then sends spinning circle of round beams at us. We can't stop that attack with our beam attacks so we dodge the attack by ducking down in front of Megas. That is very dangerous to do as Megas could fire beam from his hands but that is the only way to avoid the circle of round beams. We just have to be quick dodging his attacks. We use the 3 way beam to attack his face since that is his weakness. We keep attacking him and dodging his attacks.
"You're stronger than I thought," says Megas when he is defeated.
"Why did you do that…?" Syd asks him.
"We can't have two emperors in one country. I myself was trapped in between dimensions. We need a strong warrior to save Vecanti! You are the only one I can trust. You must save Vecanti…"
"Megas…"
"Please save Vecanti…"
"Wait a second! You did all this and now you're saying that you need Syd to save Vecanti?! If that was the case why didn't you asked her in the first place instead of doing all this fighting?!" Crystal shouts at Megas. She looks and sees that Megas is gone. "All this time, you want to save Vecanti. Why do all this fighting when you could have just asked Syd."
"There may be a reason why he couldn't do that," says Amy.
I feel sad now that we beaten Megas. He only wanted to save Vecanti. I look and see that Amy and Crystal are sad too.
"Megas…poor warrior…" says Syd. She is also sad. Syd turns to us. "Thank you for helping me. Now we can go home."
"What about Vecanti? Don't we need to save it?" I ask.
"It's okay Julie. I know how to save Vecanti," Syd says to me.
The swords disappear from my, Amy's and Crystal's hands. We say goodbye to Syd before we make our way home. We find portals that take us back to our own home.
The game me, Amy and my OC found ourselves in is Syd of Valis on the Megadrive. Fun game to play and it is cute. I never knew there was a first one, I always thought that Syd of Valis was the first game. I found out about the first game when I told my sister that I wanted the number three. My sister told me that I should get the first game before I get the third one. I thought that the other games have the same art style as the Syd of Valis, boy was I wrong. I like the Syd of Valis because it is cute. during the boss battles (and sub battle) I noticed that there were spots where the bosses will always miss you. Also, there was a glitch during the third boss battle where if you beat the boss at the same time when you lose a life, you have to restart that boss battle but with extra health. And there was a music glitch where during the cutscene with Valia, if you press the button to skip it, it sometimes go to the next stage stuck with that music instead of the normal stage music. Looking at the game cover I always thought that we can control other characters by finding them in the stages, turns out that it was not true. Then why did the game cover had all those characters?
