Sorry it took me so long, I'll try my best to get the chapter done as soon as possible. I want to thank you readers for taking your time to read my story, I hope you enjoy this as much as me. This is basically my childhood and how I see things when I played my favourite games.
Disclaimer: As usual, I don't own any of these characters, only my OCs.
Warning for any mistakes I made or missed while proofreading my own story.
I'm in this world… There're green bushes with red, green and pink fruits on them. I look around and see mountains in the background.
"Julie, you're ok!"
I turn around and see Mario smiling at me. He runs to me and hugs me. "Mario!" I say. I'm so happy to see him.
"Julie, I'm a glad you're okay. We were all worried about you."
"Worried?"
"Don't you remember? We were in Mythgard, helping Jewel Master. When we faced with Jardine the Mad, you got knocked out by his attack."
I think about what Mario said to me. Jardine…? Mythgard…? Jewel Master…? Jewel Master… Now I remember. We went to his world to save his home from the evil Jardine the Mad. I got knocked out by one of his attacks when we faced him. "Jewel Master! Is he okay?" I ask Mario.
"He's okay, he beaten the evil Jardine the Mad and saved his kingdom. Mythgard is now peaceful. Jewel Master wanted to thank you for helping him."
I smile, happy that Jewel Master won and saved his kingdom.
"I'm a going to save Princess Toadstool. She has been kidnapped by Bowser again," Mario says to me.
"We have to save her!" I say. I run off only to get stop by Mario.
"Julie, be careful. I don't want you to get hurt like last time. This is Dinosaur Land, not the Mushroom Kingdom."
"We have to save Princess Toadstool!"
"We will but I want you to be careful."
"Okay."
We go to a house with a big tree with fruits. There's a sign at the front that says 'Yoshi' on it. Mario checks the blue block with a brown circle on it. "Mamma mia! Bowser has captured Yoshi's friends and Yoshi gone to rescue them. We got to help him," says Mario.
We go to the path toward the castle. It's just like the time I went adventuring with Mario. Mario picks up the red shell and throws it at the Koopas. There is a yellow dotted block. We try to hit it but we go through it. We hit all the question mark blocks that we find. One of the blocks has a white egg with green spots. A green animal comes out of the egg. We find out that he is Yoshi and that he got trapped inside the egg.
Mario picks me up and puts me on Yoshi. "Julie, you stay on Yoshi where it's safe. Yoshi, we'll save your friends from Bowser."
Yoshi thanks us and we go through this place. Yoshi loves to eat the fruits on the bushes. He can grab the shell with his long tongue and put it inside his mouth. When he spits out the red shell, it turns into three fire balls that go in three directions. Green shell just gets spit out across the floor. I see that the fire balls that Yoshi spat out hits one of the bad guys and turns him into a coin. When I jump on the bad guys with Yoshi, they make an exploding cloud when defeated. We collect coins and a big coin with a picture on it. We jump over the bad guy wearing a helmet. The bad guy wearing a helmet attacks us by running toward us. When Mario jumps on his head, the bad guy falls onto the floor and shakes his head. He gets back up and tries to attack us again. It takes three hits to beat him. We go through the silver pole between two poles. Mario hits the blocks and finds another Yoshi egg. Another green Yoshi comes out of the egg. He must be Yoshi's friend who got trapped inside the egg. We must rescue all of them. Mario jumps onto Yoshi. I follow Mario where he finds a block with a hidden plant in it.
Mario looks up. "Yoshi, you wait for me over there. I'll take a look up there." Mario climbs up the plant. I find out from Yoshi that they can't climb up plants. Me and the Yoshis go to where Mario told us to go. Mario jumps back down and onto the Yoshi. We carry on and get attack by small brown animals that come out of the ground and walls. Yoshis can eat those bad guys up. I see a pink fruit on a bush. I get Yoshi to eat it. We jump over the pipes and make our way to the end. There's a 'P' button inside the yellow blocks. The yellow blocks look like they have eyes (like Bomberman). We hit the bottom of the block to free the button. The block we hit spins around and after a while it goes back to normal. We press the button which turns all the coins in front of us into brown blocks. The brown blocks look like their eyes are closed. We jump onto the brown blocks and avoid the bad guy wearing a helmet. We run along and find two very big poles with a moving white line that goes up and down. We jump into the white line. Stars come out in a shape of the number 16. Mario raises his hand up with two of his fingers out.
I am about to go to the next stage until Mario stops me. "Julie, let's take a look over there," Mario says to me.
I follow Mario past Yoshi's house and into the next area. A bad guy slides down the hill toward us. Mario jumps on top of him to beat him. Mario jumps up and gets a big coin in the air. We carry on until a very big Bullet Bill flies toward us. This Bullet Bill has a very angry face on him. I got hit which cause the Yoshi I am riding on to run away.
"Yoshi!" I shout. I see Yoshi running away scared. A purple dinosaur with horns walks toward me. Mario, who is still on his Yoshi, jumps onto the purple dinosaur and beats him. Mario jumps off of Yoshi. He spins around while jumping. Mario puts me on his Yoshi. We hit the flying question block with wings. A mushroom comes out of it. Mario gets it which turns Mario bigger. When Mario jumps onto the purple dinosaur's head without Yoshi, he knocks the purple dinosaur down. The purple dinosaur is now small and run faster. Mario jumps onto his head again to beat him. There're lots of purple dinosaurs in this place. We avoid the jumping Piranha Plant in a purple pipe. Mario does the spin jump on top of the yellow blocks with eyes. This causes the yellow blocks to break into little pieces. We jump inside the purple pipe that Mario uncovered. We collect the coins underground and break the yellow block with eyes to get the big coin. We go through the green pipe at the end. We are sent flying out of the pipe. Hahaha, that was fun! We go through the poles and climb up the hills to the top while beating the bad guys. We slide down the hill, beat the purple dinosaur at the bottom and slide down into a little hole in the ground. We duck down in the little hole to avoid the very big Bullet Bill. We jump out of the little hole when the Bullet Bill flies over us. Mario grabs the red shell and throws it upward. The shell hits the yellow block which causes a 1-up mushroom to come out. The 1-up mushroom runs along the smiling clouds. We carefully jump over a hole in the ground and duck in the little hole to avoid the very big Bullet Bill. Mario quickly grabs the 1-up Mushroom before it can fall through the yellow dotted blocks and into the hole. Now whenever we get knock out, we can use the 1-up Mushroom to make us feel better. We jump over the hole and beat the purple dinosaur. Mario jumps on top of the yellow block to reach the question mark block high in the air. He hits the question mark block which causes the Fire Flower to appear. Mario grabs the Fire Flower which turns his clothes red and white. Mario fires fireballs at the two purple dinosaurs. They turn into coin when they get defeated by the fireballs. So every time Mario beats the bad guys with the Fire Flower power up, they get turn into coin just like the fireballs that Yoshi spat out. We jump up onto the hill to avoid the very big Bullet Bill and then carefully avoid the jumping Piranha Plant in the pipe. We collect the big coin in the air and find the exit. The bad guy wearing a helmet is in our way. He is not running after us, instead he is jumping up and down while clapping his hands together whenever he jumps. Mario jumps onto the bad guy's head and up through the moving white line. Stars appear in the shape of a number 25. Mario again, raises his hand with two fingers out.
We climb up the hill, swim through the water and climb up another hill. We go inside an empty room with a 'P' button. We press the button which fills the whole room with coins. We use the floating grey blocks in the middle to reach the coins at the top. We collect as much as we can before they disappear. Once we finish, we go through the green pipe into the next room. At the end of the room is a very big yellow button with an exclamation mark on it. We press on the button which causes lots of yellow exclamation mark blocks to fly out. We go back down and make our way to the next stage. I notice on our way there, the dotted yellow blocks are now yellow exclamation mark blocks. When we hit those blocks, mushrooms come out of them.
We climb the hills to the very top. We are very high up. We swing around on the swinging platform and jump over to the next hill. Line of five yellow blocks open and close, they open into five blocks and after a while they close into one block. We jump across them and using the swinging platform, we jump over to the next hill. We find a Yoshi egg inside one of the blocks. Mario jumps onto him. Now we're both riding on the Yoshis. I get Yoshi to grab the red Parakoopa and spits out fires. We jump across the flying platforms up to the next hill. I see the fires that my Yoshi spat out hit the red Koopa on the hill and turn him into a coin. I look down and see a line of yellow exclamation mark blocks. If we fall down, we can safely land on those blocks. It's a good thing we pressed that button or else we'll fall down and hurt ourselves. We jump across the swinging platforms and onto land. We go through the poles that has a silver pole in the middle which I find out is a checkpoint. If we fall in a deep hole and get lost, we can easily find the checkpoint and carry on from there. We beat the jumping green Parakoopa and red Koopa, and jump up to the top of the hill using the yellow blocks. Mario hits the question block which has a Fire Flower in it. Mario lets me take it. Now I can fire fireballs. We carefully jump across swinging platforms, moving yellow blocks and moving platform toward the exit. We jump up to get the highest number from the exit.
The next stage is full of water and fishes. I want to avoid the water so I'll just jump across using the floating green platforms on the water. Mario gets another Fire Flower from the question mark block. We jump across the water and go inside the purple pipe. We're now in another place with no water. Big yellow spikey bad guy slowly move toward us. He looks like a cactus. Mario gets his Yoshi to eat the bad guy. Yoshi eats him one by one, eating his four round bodies and then his head with a face. We jump over the hole and find another yellow spikey bad guy. I let my Yoshi eats him. We jump over the hole and eat the last spikey bad guy and then go into the purple pipe. We are back in the place with the water. There's a 'P' button high up on the yellow block. Mario gets off of Yoshi and puts up the red shell. He throws the shell up at the yellow block, causing the 'P' button to fall through the yellow block. Mario presses the button which causes the line of coins to turn into blocks. Bad guys fall down from above because the blocks they were on have turn into coins. I get my Yoshi to eat one of the red Koopas and spit out the fires at the bad guys. We quickly run across the blocks and make our way to the other end while dodging the jumping fishes and spiked balls in the water. We go into the green pipe to the exit. We can just walk through the exit without getting the white moving line but then we don't get the bonus number stars. The blue and brown block says that if we get 100 of these stars, we can go to the bonus game. I want to go to the bonus game. Next, we go into the first castle.
Mario jumps off of the Yoshi. "Julie, you'll stay here with the Yoshis while I go into this castle," Mario says to me. Mario goes up to the door and looks up. The door opens and Mario goes in. I want to see Mario beat the bad guys so I follow Mario inside the castle. The door closes behind us. Mario sees that I followed him in. "Mamma mia! Julie, what are you doing here?!"
"Beat the bad guys!" I say to Mario.
"But it is too dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt."
"I won't get hurt. I got you."
Mario smiles at me. "I will do my best to protect you."
I follow Mario. We climb up the wired walls. Mario is a fast climber. I try my best to climb as fast as I can. I like how Mario knocks out the Koopas on the other side of the wired wall. He just punches them to knock them out. I help out Mario by punching the Koopas out. The Koopas can change side by going to the edge of the wired wall. We carefully climb over the lava and avoid the jumping lava ball. I watch as Mario goes to the small square on the wired wall. He punches it which causes the small square to turn around, sending Mario to the other side of the wired wall. I really like that so I do it too. I go over to the small square and punch it. I spin around to the other side. That was fun! We jump over the small lava and beat the Koopas on the wired wall. We climb up the wired wall and go over the lava to the other side. We go through the checkpoint and into the door.
We slowly walk through this room as there are big wooden things crashing down from the ceiling. They slowly come out a bit and then quickly come down very hard that it makes the whole room shakes. At the start we stop in front of the big wooden thing and then jump into the little hole in the floor to avoid the other big wooden thing. We get a Fire Flower from the flying question mark block with wings and carefully jump over the big holes while avoiding the big wooden thing. We use the line of yellow blocks to cross the second hole in the floor. We make it to a big red door.
We go through where we face with a blue turtle bad guy with yellow hair and glasses. We are on a little platform floating on lava. The platform slowly moves up and down from side to side. I hit him with my fire which causes the bad guy to move toward us. We jump over him to avoid getting hurt. Moving on this platform is very hard for me as it keeps moving. The bad guy goes into his shell and throws a fireball at us. We jump over it to avoid getting hurt. Mario quickly jumps onto the bad guy, causing the bad guy to slide off the platform and into the lava. We go out of the castle with Mario carrying a yellow spotted egg. We go away from the castle. Mario puts the egg down. The egg jumps up and down, and thanks us for saving him. Mario pushes the button on the red box. Fire goes through the line and into the castle, blowing it up. The castle breaks down into broken pieces with a white flag in the middle.
"Now that we defeated Iggy Koopa, we must travel to Donut Land and rescue the others," Mario says to me.
We go back onto the Yoshis and go to Donut Land. In the first area we get attack by flying bad guys with cape. They hit us which causes our Yoshis to run away. Mario jumps onto the flying bad guys with a flashing red and yellow cape. A white and brown feather comes out and floats in the air. Mario grabs it which gives Mario a yellow cape. Mario doesn't have the fire power up anymore. I like this power because it makes Mario look like a superhero. I bet he can fly with that cape. Mario can float in the air when wearing the cape. A Super Mushroom jumps out from the bush when we walk past. Mario carries me and we jump over the helmet bad guy. The helmet bad guy is throwing things at us. We avoid the flying bad guys that fly under us as we jump up onto the hill. A plant on the floor is spitting out dangerous red things. I use my fire power to beat the plant bad guy. We avoid the jumping Parakoopas below us and beat the flying bad guy that flies toward us. Mario beats the flying bad guy by spinning around and hitting him with his cape. We jump over the hole in the ground and into the blue pipe. In this room are five floors, each one with three question mark blocks. We hit one block which turns into a circle and then hit the block next to it which turns both blocks into brown blocks. I don't think that's right. We jump up to the next floor. We hit the far end block which causes all the blocks on that floor into brown blocks. We jump up to the next floor where we get only one block right. The next floor we got all the blocks right and a 1-up Mushroom comes out of the last block on that floor. We have to hit the blocks in the right order in order to get the 1-up Mushroom. After hitting all the blocks, we go through the green pipe which takes us back outside near a blue pipe. We go into the blue pipe into another place. There's a big grey pipe that is high up. At the bottom of the pipe is a smiling pink triangle thing. I see a feather in between the rocks. I take it and get a yellow cape behind me. I try to fly but I could only float in the air. Maybe we need to run fast enough just like that leaf power up. The only problem is that I don't got enough room to run around. I run around and accidentally run up the pipe using the smiling pink triangle thing. I run up along pipe to the top. I jump off the top of the pipes and fly up. I then slowly float back down onto the ground. I look up at the sky to see lots of coins. The sky is a very beautiful blue with white clouds with eyes floating in the sky. This is a beautiful place. I then see Mario flying up into the sky. He slowly comes back down but is holding the back of the cape with his feet. He floats back up using his cape like a parachute. Flying with the cape like that doesn't look cool. I prefer it when Mario flies like a cool superhero without holding the back of the cape with his feet. I run to the other end and run up the pipe using the smiling pink triangle thing. I float back down and onto the green pipe. Mario comes diving straight down. He hits the ground hard which causes the whole place to shake. That was powerful. I like it when Mario does that. He can beat bad guys that way. We both go into the green pipe. We come out of the small purple pipe. We jump over the hole in the ground and beat the flying bad guys. We get another feather from the flying bad guy with the flashing red and yellow cape. We jump up the hills and over the plant bad guy. We hit a question mark block which has Yoshi inside. I jump onto Yoshi. We can both float in the air by using my cape. We avoid the two helmet bad guys below by jumping across the yellow blocks. I get Yoshi to eat up the plant bad guy. We quickly jump down the hill to avoid the helmet bad guy on the yellow blocks. Four flying bad guys run and fly toward us. I quickly get Yoshi to eat the flying bad guy with the flashing red and yellow cape. Beating that bad guy with Yoshi will not give us a feather. We have to jump on top of him to get the feather. We can only get the feather from the flying bad guy with the flashing red and yellow cape. After collecting another big coin, we jump up the hills and over the big green pipe. We go through the green dotted blocks and toward the exit. We dodge the plant's attack and jump onto the helmet bad guy. We bounce off him and into the exit. We didn't touch the moving white line so we don't get any star points.
The next area we go underground. I don't like this place so we keep on moving without stopping. Beetle bad guys and bird bad guys attack us as we go through this place. We have to be careful not to get crush by the moving yellow ground. We try to get in the pipes but they do nothing. Only one green pipe in the ceiling takes us to a different place. We get a Super Mushroom from the yellow exclamation mark block and jump over the hole. A helmet bad guy is kicking rugby balls at us. We quickly jump over him and up the hills. There are four yellow blocks line up like steps. Mario breaks the yellow blocks on the ground next to us. He picks up an empty blue shell.
"What's that for?" I ask.
Yoshi takes the blue shell into his mouth. Yoshi flies upward toward the hole in the ceiling. I look down and see that Yoshi have wings at his sides. We hit the highest yellow block which grow out a plant. We fly up into the hole where we find a keyhole and a yellow key. Mario climbs up the plant to get to us. Yoshi spits out the blue shell. He doesn't have wings anymore. So the red shell make Yoshi breathes out fires and the blue shell make Yoshi flies. Mario picks up the key and puts it in the keyhole. In this hidden place, the room looks like the place with the big yellow button. There is an empty red shell in front of us. Mario jumps over and presses the 'P' button. The red shell drops down through the coin. I look down and see a bad guy kicking the red shell. We run across the room to the green pipe. In the next room, we find a big button just like the yellow button only this button is green. We press on it which causes green exclamation mark blocks to fly out. We go back to the underground place but this time we carry on through without going in that green pipe. We hit the green exclamation mark block which gives us the feather power up. We have to be careful of the moving yellow grounds as they can easily crush us. We run into this small tunnel where we hit a flying question mark block to get a feather power up. I look up and see the yellow ground comes slowly down on us from above. I thought it will squish us but it stops and goes slowly back up. We wait for the next yellow ground to go up to the ceiling. When it comes back down, we jump onto it and run across to the other side. We go through the green pipe at the end and through the exit. The next place is a dark old house.
"Julie, you stay out here with Yoshi," Mario says to me. He opens the doors and goes in.
I jump off Yoshi when he didn't go in. I quickly go in before the doors close. There's lots of Boos flying above us, all of them with different faces. The Boos are see through but become real when they fly down at us. I quickly follow Mario through this big room. We jump over the holes to the end where we go through the door.
"Mamma mia! Julie, I told you to stay outside with Yoshi. I don't want you to get hurt in this dangerous ghost house," says Mario when he sees that I follow him.
"I want to help save the princess!"
"Okay, but you have to stay with me. You can get lost in here."
I stay by Mario at all times. We can't beat the Boos but we can stop them by looking at them in their faces. They don't move when we look at them. While I look at one of the Boos for a long while, the Boo I am looking at quickly pulls a funny face at me. I am surprised by that and tell Mario about it. We go up the stairs and into the door. We hit the yellow block which has the 'P' button. We press the button which causes coins in the shaped of an arrow to appear. It is pointing away from the yellow door and toward the blue door. We go through the blue door which takes us to the same room as before.
"Mamma mia, the door took us back here," says Mario after he looks around the room.
We go back into the yellow door and hit the yellow block. We hit the 'P' button where the same thing happens again. We look around for another way but there isn't any. The blue door disappears after a while. We go through the yellow door again. We hit the yellow block but instead of a 'P' button, a plant grows out of it. Mario helps me to climb up the plant. We find a door hiding up there. We go in and find our way out. So the ghost house is very tricky to find the exit and you need to do lots of different things to find the way out. We go through the exit and get enough star points to go to the bonus game.
We go into a small room. There're nine blocks, eight blocks go around the middle block. The middle block has a picture of the Super Mushroom. The eight moving blocks keep changing picture from Super Mushroom to the Fire Flower and then to the Super Star. Mario goes and hits one of the moving block, causing it to stop on a picture. It stops on a picture of a Fire Flower. He hits another moving block and makes it stop on a Super Mushroom. He hits all the moving blocks, one by one. When he hits the last one, the moving blocks stop moving. It flashes when there are three of the same picture in a line. Mario got one line of Super Mushroom. A 1-up Mushroom comes out of the grey pipe on the ceiling. If we get all the blocks into the same picture then we can get lots of 1-up Mushroom. We finish with the bonus game and go back out.
The land in front of us turns into water and a wooden bridge appears over the water. I get back onto Yoshi and we cross the wooden bridge to the next place. A fish jumps out when we cross the wooden bridge. Green leaves are in the background of this area. We use the spinning three grey platforms and the moving brown platforms on wire to get across this area. We have to be careful as we don't want to fall down (It's a long way down from up here). We beat the Koopas and Parakoopas that attack us. We make it to a brown platform moving on a wire around the pink block that has the word 'ON' on it. We jump onto the platform and hit the 'ON' block which causes the block to turn grey with the word 'OFF' on it and changing the wire. The wire now moves the platform forward instead of around. We hit the next 'OFF' block to change the wire direction. If we didn't do that, we would have fall down at the end of the wire. We avoid the moving black fuzzy bad guys with eyes that move on the wires. We go through the checkpoint and carefully jump across the platforms while avoiding the bad guys. I find it easy to glide across with Yoshi using my yellow cape. We ride the brown platform on the wires while jumping across the gaps in between each wire. We jump into the orange pipe where we play that game where we have to hit the three blocks in the right order. We got some 1-up Mushrooms from that game. We come out near the exit. We jump across the platforms and hit a green block with a white star on it which gives us a coin. We jump through the moving line in the exit to get bonus stars.
We move to the next area where we see a Koopa jumping into his yellow shell. The yellow shell starts flashing different colours and rolls toward us. We jump over him to avoid getting hurt. The yellow shell rolls back toward us. I get my Yoshi to eat him. Yoshi now have the yellow shell in his mouth. We jump over the green pipe to the other side. When my Yoshi lands on the ground, he lands really hard that it causes the ground to shake and smokes to come out near his feet. This also beats any bad guys that are near us. This must be the power from the yellow shell in Yoshi's mouth. I beat the tomato –like bad guy and the red Koopa using this attack. We jump over the yellow pipe while avoiding the little jumping Piranha Plant. We are about to jump over the green pipe until the green pipe moves up. It has grows big that we can't jump over it. I get Yoshi to spit out the yellow shell and eat the Koopa with the blue shell. Mario jumps on and we both fly over the green pipe. The green pipe moves back down as we fly over. We keep flying through the sky. After a while I notice Yoshi's mouth is getting smaller. I think he is about to eat the Koopa's shell in his mouth. A few seconds later, Yoshi ate the Koopa's shell and we all fall back down. Without the blue shell, Yoshi's wings disappear. We make it past the bad guy throwing hammers on a flying platform and into a checkpoint. We jump over the hole onto the hill. There're lots of hills in front of us with tomato bad guys with wings in between the hills. Mario hits the question mark block and gets a Yoshi. We go over the hills, beating any bad guys by jumping on them or having Yoshis eating them. We find a block with a power up inside it. It keeps changing from a Super Mushroom to a Fire Flower to the feather and then to a Super Star. Mario hits the block which causes the power up to jump out of the block and bounce across the place. We quickly grab it and get another feather power up. Mario beats the bad guy on the flying platform by jumping on his head. We use the flying platform to jump to the next place. We quickly run across to avoid the falling tomato bad guys on parachute as well as the tomato bad guys with wings. Me and Mario lost our Yoshis when the bad guy on the flying platform hits us by throwing hammers at us. Mario beats that bad guy by jumping on his head and helps me jump onto the flying platform. We jump into the exit and get star points from it.
We go into the next castle. We avoid the jumping sad small grey square boxes that try to jump on us. I don't think we can beat them. We go up the moving stairs while avoiding the swinging balls with spikes. We go through the door at the top to the next area. We wait for the angry Thwomps to fall down then we quickly run under them when they go back up. We jump over the lava while avoiding the jumping fireball and make our way to the top. Mario beats the Dry Bone by spinning and hitting him with his cape. The Dry Bone gets knock out. We go through the door into a dark room. Stones move slowly toward us. We jump up the stones to the top of the non-moving stone platform. I watch as the moving stones stop when they get to a certain point and then slowly move back the other way. We jump onto the next moving stone and make our way up. We use the spring to jump up to the next stones platform and climb up the moving stones. We hit the yellow blocks and jump past it to the next stone platform. We beat the Dry Bone and then carry on up. We have to stop at the right spot or else we will get crush by the moving stones that move from the wall and toward us. We carefully make our way up using the moving stones while beating the Dry Bones that come after us. We jump across the spike floor and wait for the moving stone to come out of the wall. We jump onto it and make our way to the big red doors. We beat the Dry Bone and get a feather power up from the green exclamation mark block.
Two walls come crashing down, trapping us in with the bad green Koopa. The bad green Koopa runs toward us. Mario jumps on top of him to hit him. The bad green Koopa does not like that. He runs toward the wall and runs up it and then over the ceiling and toward us. We quickly run past under him. The bad green Koopa tries to fall on top of us as soon as we run under him. He misses us as we run too fast. Mario jumps on top of the bad green Koopa. The bad green Koopa runs up the wall and over the ceiling. We quickly run under him again. He tries to fall on top of us but misses us again. Mario jumps on top of him and beats him. We save another Yoshi egg and I help carry him outside. I watch as Mario runs at the castle and jumps at the side. He does that twice and then jumps on top of the castle lots of time, crushing the castle into pieces. A white flag sits on top of the pieces. Mario breathes out puff of air after crushing the castle. Wow, Mario is so cool and very strong! He's such an amazing hero, especially with the cape. The Yoshi egg thanks us for saving him. Now we beaten Morton Koopa Jr., we go to the underground Vanilla Dome to rescue the next Yoshi egg.
We go through the door to an underground cave. In the first area, we get attack by birds, Buzzy Beetles and red beetle-like bad guys with a spike on their back. Those red bad guys with spike can climb up walls. We make our way across and jump up to the top of the yellow blocks. We run across only to be block by a big orange pipe. We go back and take the bottom path. Mario uses his cape to beat the Buzzy Beetles in our way. Yellow blocks block our way out. We jump up and hit the yellow blocks above us. We jump through the spinning yellow blocks we hit and jump onto the next ground. Above us between the two yellow pipes are dotted pink squares. There must be another big switch around here to make those blocks appear. We keep on going to the green pipe at the end of this room. We hit the question mark block which causes a Super Star to come out. Mario carries me and grabs the Super Star. We jump onto the big yellow ground which starts to sink into the lava as soon as we jump onto it. We quickly run across, beating the bad guys with the Super Star power. We make it to the other side before the yellow ground sink into the lava. We make it to the checkpoint. We jump down onto the ground and run into a little tunnel and into a dead end. We hit the yellow blocks above us and then jump through them. We carefully make our way through the next area full of red spiked beetles that walk around the ground and ceiling. We jump across the pipes while avoiding jumping Piranha Plant and a Parakoopa. This place is like a maze, full of dead ends. We find our way out and find the exit behind the bad guy with the helmet. We jump over the bad guy and get the moving line to score star points.
We go to the next area where we fall down into the water. Mario helps me to swim to safety. I don't like this place, it's full of water. Mario helps me get through this area. There must be a secret hiding spot in this place. I don't remember much about this place because of the water (I couldn't see properly with water in my eyes). I do remember using a 'P' button to get to the secret place with a key and a keyhole.
This takes us to another area that looks just like the place with the big button. A bad guy jumps into the yellow shell and starts moving across the floor. Mario carries me and jumps onto the 'P' button. We quickly jump up onto the blocks in the air to avoid the moving shell. The moving shell follows us, knocking out all the Koopas in his way. We make it to the end where we go inside the green pipe. We find a big pink exclamation mark button. We press it which causes the pink exclamation mark blocks to fly out.
We return to the water area where Mario helps me get through the water. We make it to the checkpoint after the helmet bad guy destroys the yellow blocks blocking our way. We jump over the helmet bad guy to avoid his attack. Another helmet bad guy destroys the yellow block in front of us. We jump over him and go to the new path that the helmet bad guy made. We get a power up from the changing power up block and follow the path down. We hit the 'P' button to turn the blocks blocking our path into coins. We make our way to the exit while avoiding or beating the bad guys.
After another bonus game to collect more 1-up Mushrooms, we climb up the wall and go into the ghost house. It looks just like the first ghost house we went to only it's a different layout with different ghosts. We have to quickly jump between two moving ghosts to avoid getting hurt. There's a circle of Boos with different faces spinning around in a circle. There is a small gap in their circle that we use to get through. We carefully jump across the small floor platforms toward the other side while avoiding the Boos. A very big Boo blocks our way. Just like the small Boos, he covers his eyes when we look at him. We use the yellow blocks to jump over the big Boo. We carefully make our way to the door at the other end of this room. In the next room, we avoid the big green balls that float through the air toward us. We carefully jump across the small floor platforms and go through the door. We are back at the start of this room. The ghost house loves to play tricks on us. There must be another way out. We go through this room again but this time we go past the door we went in. We find coins in a shape of a door. There must be something here. We collect the coins and look around this room. We hit the three yellow blocks that we went past before. The middle one has a 'P' button inside it. We press it and quickly make our way to where the coins were. We find a door and go through it. We are outside near the exit. We go through the exit and to the next area.
We are back in the underground cave full of lavas. We jump onto the four small white platforms in the lava. As soon as we jump on them they start to move. Eyes pop out of the lava and look around. The eyes go back into the lava and then a lava dinosaur monster jumps out at us. Mario quickly grabs me and we jump over the lava dinosaur monster. I see another one popping his eyes out of the lava to look around. We jump over him as soon as he attacks us. We were too busy dodging that lava dinosaur that we couldn't hit the flying question mark blocks above us. We jump to safety ground before the moving white platforms fall down the hole. I look closely at the white platforms and see that they are four bone heads platform. I follow Mario up the pipes while avoiding the bad guys. We jump onto another bone heads platform and ride it across the lava while avoiding the jumping lava dinosaurs.
The big orange pipe is too big for us to jump over. Mario hits the invisible block and we use that block to jump over the big orange pipe. Mario hits the question mark block in between the orange pipes and get the feather power up. We jump over the next orange pipe and ride across the lava using the bone heads platform. We make sure to jump to safety before the bone head platform falls into the hole. We carefully run under the pipes, avoiding the Piranha Plants inside them. We jump onto the bone heads platform and then onto the ground platform above the lava. We quickly run across to the other side, beating the bad guys, and jumping back onto the moving bone heads platform. At the end of the lava, we jump onto the yellow pipe and go inside it. We are now in an underground ice cave. We run across the hills and over the water while beating the bad guys. I keep on sliding across the floor because of the ice. Mario helps me to get across. We jump up into the purple pipe.
We are back inside the underground cave. We run up the big orange pipe. I look down in between the orange pipes. I see an angry looking bad guy walking toward the red shell and kicking it. The red shell bounces around between the orange pipes, knocking out the angry looking bad guy. Mario jumps down and on top of the red shell, stopping it. Mario then grabs the red shell and throws it up at the question mark block above him. Yoshi comes out of the question mark block that Mario hit. I jump onto the blocks and get on Yoshi. Mario goes through the checkpoint and we carry on forward. We ride another bone heads platform across the lava. It is easy to get across the small gaps above the pipes as I got Yoshi to eat the red spiked beetles that are crawling everywhere. We jump across the grounds and make the bone heads platform moves across the lava. We quickly run across the ground platform to the other side. Yoshi helps us by eating the Piranha Plants inside the pipes above us. We make it just in time and jump back on the bone heads platform. We make it to the end of this area.
In the next area, we are outside at the top of the mushroom-like platforms. I can see the stars in the dark sky. We use the wiggly green platform to jump high up and over the big blue spotted plant-like thing. Throughout this area we keep getting attack by Bullet Bills that come out of nowhere. It is very fun to jump on wiggly green platforms. It is also very easy going through this place with the feather power up as we can float across the sky. It gets very dangerous when four Bullet Bills come attacking in different directions. I am lucky to dodge them by jump up into the sky by the wiggly green platform. We make our way across the mushroom-like platforms and the big blue spotted plant-like things toward the exit. I find out that we get 1-up from collecting all five of the big coins in each area.
Onto the third castle, I leave Yoshi outside the castle and go with Mario inside. Koopa-like bad guys in blue clothes and hat attack us by firing magic from their sticks. We both run to the other end only to stop at a dead end. We look back and see the bad guys gone. I find a hole below us. We jump down and run across the yellow blocks. The Koopa-like bad guys can teleport to different places. It will be hard to beat them when they do that. We jump over the floating platforms on the water. When the Koopa-like bad guys hit the yellow block with their magic, the yellow block turns into a bad guy. We hit the 'P' button at the top and carry on across the water. We couldn't jump up to the blocks above us. We carry on avoiding the bad guys and going through the door to the next place.
This dangerous room is full of lava and moving square walls that will crush you if you are not careful. We can also fall into the lava if we are not careful. We wait for the best time to move across the moving square walls. We avoid the jumping fireballs and the Dry Bones throughout this room. At the end of this room is the big red door which usually means we are facing the big boss of this castle.
Inside we find ourselves on top of orange pipes, some of them are different sizes. A flying red fireball slowly bounces around the room. Two bad guys that look like they holding sticks come out of two of the pipes. A yellow Koopa with hair come out of one of the pipes. We run toward him but after a while, he and the two other bad guys go back inside the pipes. We wait for them to appear again. They all come out but this time at different pipes. The yellow Koopa comes out with his bottom out first. Mario runs to him and jump on him. The yellow Koopa does not like that as he waves his arms and yells. They all go back inside the pipes. We wait for them to appear again while avoiding the flying fireball. They come out different pipes. I am near the yellow Koopa. He is pulling faces at Mario. I jump on top of him. They all go back inside the pipes. I dodge the flying fireball while waiting for the yellow Koopa to come out. When he finally comes out, Mario jumps on top of his head, beating him. I hear something falling below us. I look down and see the yellow Koopa falling down into the lava. We get out of the castle with the egg. I watch as Mario runs off to get a hammer. Mario runs to the castle and breaks it down into pieces with the hammer.
We go into the green pipe which takes us outside. We go to the bridge over the water. I look down and see that we are far high up. In this area, we ride the moving platform on the line through the sky. We have to avoid the dangerous machine saws that quickly move along the lines. We can't do anything to them so we have to avoid them. Good thing I got Yoshi to help me dodge them. We jump off the platform and into the checkpoint. We safely land on the wooden platforms and we hit the question block. White wings fly out of the block. I don't know what they do. Mario tries to grab them but they fly through his fingers and kept on flying. I try to get it with Yoshi but I was too late. The wings fly way up and are gone. We jump across the platforms until we get to the bit where we have to climb onto the long rope on the machine. I can't grab onto the rope with Yoshi and even if I wasn't on Yoshi I still can't grab on due to me not knowing how to climb rope. Yoshi tells me that he knows what to do. It's a good thing we got a spare feather power up. Me and Yoshi fly across the sky. We jump on top of the machine saws. Yoshi can jump onto them without getting hurt. We bounce across toward the exit. We wait for Mario to come who is using the machine rope to get across. We cross the exit and go to the next area.
We are now on the other side of the bridge. We dodge the bad guy that comes sliding down the hill and the mole bad guy that loves to chase us. We run over to a line of question mark blocks with a big bad guy on top of them. This bad guy slowly moves around and then hits the ground with his feet which causes fire to fall down from under him and spread out onto the ground below. Me and Yoshi jump on top of him but it doesn't hurt him. Mario waits for the fire to go away and then he hits the question mark blocks that the bad guy is standing on which beat the bad guy. We carefully jump over the sliding bad guys on the hills. There are lots of mole bad guys here. We drop down the hills where lots of mole bad guys are running around. Yoshi eats them all up. We quickly run under the music blocks to avoid the falling fires from the bad guys on top of the music blocks. The music blocks are too high up that we can't hit it. We get the checkpoint and go pass a big mountain. More mole bad guys come out of the mountain and chase after us. We quickly run past and hit the yellow blocks. One of the yellow blocks grows the plant way up toward the sky. Mario climbs up it while me and Yoshi wait for him. Mario comes back down and shows me the thing he got from up there. It is the 1-up Mushroom. We find another Yoshi for Mario to ride on inside a question mark block. We run past the hills while avoiding the mole bad guys. We find pink fruits on the bushes. I get my Yoshi to eat the pink fruits. Yoshi lays an egg which opens. A smiling cloud comes out of it and flies high above us. It drops smiling coins down. We collect the smiling coins as they come down. We quickly get a power up from the power ups block and follow the smiling cloud until it flies away. We jump over the bad guy that kicks fire to the ground and make our way to the exit. We jump onto the helmet bad guy and bounce up onto the yellow block. We jump up onto the purple pipe and go into the exit.
We climb up the ladder to the castle. We left our Yoshi outside and go inside. We are inside a red tunnel. We follow it while avoiding the bone shell bad guys and swinging balls with spikes. We go through the door at the end into the next room. Mario quickly grabs me and we quickly run across the room. We jump over lavas and avoid the jumping fireballs. Mario hits the block with the word 'ON' on it. It turns from 'ON' to 'OFF'. I look up and see the spiked ceiling stopping and slowly going up. Oh, so that why Mario grabs me, the ceiling was falling down on us. We run toward the end of this room while avoiding bad guys and dangers. We have to be quick as the spiked ceiling comes back down again. We run as fast as we can and make it to the other end. It was very close but we made it. We go through the door into the next room. We climb up the wired wall, beating any Koopas that get in our way. Mario helps me to jump up to the next wired wall. We reach the top and go through the big red door.
We run across where we face with a big yellow Koopa bad guy with big white hair on both side of his head. He breathes fireballs at us. I avoid the attacks while Mario jumps over the fireballs and onto the yellow Koopa bad guy. He is not happy when Mario did that. He goes into his shell and spins toward us. We run away from him and jump over him when he gets too close to us. When he stops moving, he jumps out and over us. He carries on breathing fireballs at us. I keep avoiding the attacks while Mario attacks him by jumping on his head. We keep fighting like this until Mario beat him in three hits. After the yellow Koopa bad guy disappears, we take the egg and make our way out of the castle. I stay with the egg while Mario jumps on the button on the red box. Fire goes through the line and into the castle. I thought the castle will blow up like the first castle we beaten but this one does something different. As soon as the fire hits the castle, the castle flies up like a rocket.
"Wow!" I say when I see the castle flying.
"Huh?" says Mario.
We watch as the castle flies all the way to the hill with eyes. Now the hill is hurt and has plasters on his head.
"How did that castle flied like that?" says a voice.
I turn to the voice and see Luigi looking in the sky. "Luigi!" I shout, really happy to see him.
"Julie!" Luigi gives me a big hug. "I'm a happy that you're okay! I was very scared when you got hurt by that evil Jardine. He was very scary."
"He is," I say to Luigi. I was very scared when we first fight him.
"He kept attacking us in that skull form as well as that attack he used to hurt you."
"And you beat him?" I ask Luigi.
Luigi nods his head. "Oh yeah, we all helped Jewel Master to beat him."
"Luigi, have you found where the Princess is?" Mario asks.
Luigi shakes his head. "No, I haven't found her. I did found a star that takes me to a Star World. You should take a look."
"I will, where do I go?" Mario asks Luigi.
"Just go back inside that cave over there. It's a near the entrance at the bottom. I know you will find the secret path."
"Thank you Luigi. You carry on saving the rest of the Yoshis while I'm a looking in the Star World."
"And save the princess," I say.
Mario pats me on my head. "That's right, Julie. Maybe something in the Star World will help us get to the princess."
"Let's us go, Julie. We'll save the Yoshis and the princess," says Luigi.
"Luigi, be careful and watch out for Julie," says Mario.
"I won't let anything happen to her," says Luigi.
Mario goes on the Yoshi and they go back to the cave. Luigi puts me on my Yoshi and we go to the next place. We climb down and go into the forest. In the first stage, we try to beat this yellow long wiggling bad guy with a flower on his head by jumping on top on him. This makes him very angry and he turns red and moves faster. We try jumping on top of him again but we only bounce off him. The yellow long bad guy runs toward us. Yoshi eats the yellow long bad guy when he gets too close to us. So the only way to beat him is to get Yoshi to eat him. We jump over the holes in the ground and find another Yoshi inside a question mark block. Luigi gets on and we carry on through the forest. Luigi is very smart. He gets a 1-up Mushroom just by hitting the music note blocks and then catching it before it falls into the hole. Yoshis help us beat the yellow long bad guys as we make our way to the checkpoint. We grab a power-up from the block and quickly run across. Bad guys jump out of the blocks above us and fall down toward us. We are too quick for them so they miss us. We jump up onto the wooden floor and run toward the other side. We find a question mark block which we hit. A flying "P" ball flies up. Luigi grabs it which causes him to get big and fly up. I think he is full of air like a balloon. The Yoshi that Luigi was on fall down next to me. Luigi keeps flying above us until he turns back to his old self. He gets on the Yoshi and we carry on through the forest. We beat more of the yellow long bad guys and beat the bad guy throwing the hammers on a flying platform. I lose my Yoshi because I got hit by the hammer. Luigi gets off his Yoshi. He puts me on his Yoshi. We use the flying platform to get to the exit.
The next stage is underwater. Luigi quickly guide us through this place as he knows that I don't like underwater. We avoid the fishes and the spikey blue blocks with eyes. There are sleeping fishes that will wake up if we go too close to them. We carefully sneak past them. We find the exit but we have to swim past a lot of sleeping fishes. We swim under them as they slowly fall down. We are doing okay until I hear a noise. That noise wakes up all the sleeping fishes and all the fishes chase after us. We quickly swim to the exit. I quickly look behind to see that it was the helmet bad guy who made that noise. He did that on purpose to get the fishes to attack us. We make it to the exit which causes the fishes to turn to coins.
We are back going through the forest in the next stage. All the bad guys are inside bubbles that are floating everywhere. There are Bob-ombs, little red round bad guys, fishes and there is a Super Mushroom in a bubble as well. The bubbles easily pop whenever we touch them or if they hit the ground, pipes and blocks. Luigi finds another Yoshi inside a question mark block. We carry on while avoiding the bubbles. We have to use the green spring to bounce over the very big yellow pipe. There are lots of question mark blocks in the air. We try to hit all of them but I couldn't hit the ones at the very top. The only bad guy that is not in the bubble is the helmet bad guy. We jump over him and use the yellow block to jump over the big green pipe and to the exit.
We make our way to the ghost house where we leave our Yoshi outside. We follow the path while avoiding the Boos and ghosts. It looks like Luigi is scared. He doesn't look happy and he is shaking a lot. I think he don't like this place. We try our best to avoid the big Boos and the small Boos that chase after us. We go through the door at the end of the big room. We are in the room with all the Boos at the top of the room. Luigi quickly grabs me and we quickly run across the room. We press the 'P' button. It didn't do anything good, just turning all the coins into brown block. After a while, it turns back. We fall through the coins and find nothing near the end wall. We jump over the small wall and go in the door. We gone through the wrong door, we are in the wrong room. We have to start again. Luigi is not happy about that. We go through the first room again and go through the door at the end. We quickly run across the next room but this time we collect all the coins before we hit the 'P' button. We find a blue door near the end wall. We go through it where we are in a very dark place. We run to the wall and jump up into the room. We run to the end and go through the door. We are back in the room with lots of Boos at the top. We quickly run across and go through the blue door using the 'P' button. We go the other way this time and make it to a yellow door. We go in and find the exit. Luigi is so happy to be out of that place.
Oh, a 1-up Mushroom! I jump and grab it. Spinies fall down from the sky and hit me which causes me to lose my Yoshi. Luigi quickly runs to me but also gets hit and loses his Yoshi. Luigi quickly gets up and carries me. I look and see that it was the Lakitus that attack us with the Spinies. We quickly run while avoiding the bad guys. We run far enough that the Lakitus stops chasing us. I think that Lakitus wasn't happy that I took that 1-up Mushroom. We go past the checkpoint and carry on while avoiding the Lakitus. We avoid the jumping Piranha Plants and the helmet bad guy, and make it to the exit.
We follow the path which takes us underwater. We quickly swim through this place. Luigi find a secret room behind the wall. It has a key and a keyhole. We unlock another stage. It's the same room as the other place where we press the big button. We find a blue 'P' button and a grey 'P' button. I wonder what that grey one does. We collect the coins above us and jump on the blue button. It turns all the coins that we didn't collect into brown blocks. Spinies come down through the hole we just made. We quickly hit the grey one which turns all the Spinies into grey coins. Oh, so the grey 'P' button turns all the bad guys into coins. We collect the ones near us and quickly go to the other end of the room. We go into the green pipe where we press the big blue button. Now all the dotted blue lines will turn into blue exclamation mark blocks. The blue exclamation mark blocks all fly off everywhere and we carry on through the forest.
Luigi looks around. "This place looks familiar… Oh no!"
"What wrong?" I ask.
"We're a going around in circle. We have been through here before," says Luigi.
"How we get out?"
"We'll just have to look around."
We go to the place with the bad guys in the bubbles. Maybe there is another way out. We get a Yoshi from the question mark block and then we look everywhere until we find a room inside the green pipe near the exit. We use the key to unlock the keyhole. We find our way out of the forest and into the castle.
I leave my Yoshi outside and go into the castle with Luigi. We run forward and jump down onto the line of blown blocks. As soon as we landed on them, the line of blown blocks moves. We follow it up and down, forward and backward while avoiding the flying fireballs. We follow it into a room full of spikes at the top and the bottom. While moving, I feel like there was something falling behind me. I look behind but didn't see anything. I carry on moving but then Luigi stops me. He points upward so I look up and see one of the spikes at the top shaking and falls in front of us. We quickly move ahead as we don't want to fall off the moving line of brown blocks. We jump off onto the safe floor and follow this path. We avoid the falling spike and press the 'P' button. We run forward onto the bridge-like platform. We avoid the jumping fire balls and the falling statue that spits out fire at us. We jump over the first statue and then jump over another statue behind it. We couldn't get the 1-up Mushroom as it falls down the hole. We jump across the moving line of blocks and avoid the flying fireballs and another statue that spits out fire.
We go through the big red door to fight a blue Koopa with sunglasses. The walls trap us in with the blue Koopa with sunglasses. This fight is the same as the one in the other castle. We jump on top of him to hurt him. He runs up the wall just like the other one. I think I saw the wall moving toward us. We run under the blue Koopa to get him to fall back down. We jump on top of him. The blue Koopa runs up the wall again.
"Mamma mia! This room has a gotten smaller!" says Luigi.
I look around and see that it has gotten smaller. I see the walls moving in. I don't like the look of this. Luigi quickly grabs me and carries me across the small room, under the blue Koopa. The blue Koopa falls down near us. Luigi quickly jumps on top of the blue Koopa, defeating him. We take the egg and go outside. The egg thanks us for saving him. Luigi presses on the red button to blow up the castle but when the fire hits the castle, nothing happen.
"Huh?" Luigi don't know what happened. "Julie, you stay here while I a check it out." Luigi runs over to the castle and check it. BOOM! The castle blows up right in front of Luigi. Poor Luigi, he got blown up and now he is very dirty and messy. Luigi blows out smoke from his mouth and walks back to me. "Julie, whatever you do, don't ever go near anything that is about to explode. It's a very dangerous."
"Luigi are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm a fine. I'm a glad you and the Yoshi egg aren't hurt." Luigi cleans himself off.
I get onto my Yoshi and we go to the next area. We find slow big dinosaur-like bad guys and fast little dinosaur-like bad guys in this place. When Luigi jumps on the big dinosaur bad guys, the big dinosaur bad guys turn into little dinosaur bad guys and breathe fire into the air. The funny thing is that Yoshi can eat the little dinosaur bad guys when they are breathing fire. He eats both the little dinosaur and the fire all at once. It's amazing how Yoshi can eat anything. We go inside one of the pipes which shoots us out the other pipe and onto the next place. We jump on the spring which sends us high up toward the checkpoint. Luigi jumps on the 'P' button to make a path of brown blocks over the dangerous black plant bad guys. We have to jump over the helmet bad guy that falls on top of the brown blocks. We climb up hills and beat more dinosaur bad guys as we make our way to the end of this stage. We find another Yoshi inside the question mark block. Luigi gets on Yoshi and we carry on toward the end, jumping over different coloured pipes. We need to jump in the right pipe which shoots us toward the goal.
We leave the Yoshis outside as we go inside the ghost house. I follow Luigi as we avoid the moving hole in the floor and ghosts that fly toward us in different way. A ghost on a little cloud is holding a line with blue fire at the end of it. He reminds me of the Lakitus that had that 1-up Mushroom on the line. We do our best to avoid the ghosts and the hole in the floor as we make our way to the other end of the room. We go through the yellow door into another room. We jump over the grey boxes after we hit the question mark block. We see Boos with different faces moving in a line around the room. We move back. I look back and notice that the grey boxes had move closer to us. They must be moving boxes. We jump through the hole in the wall where we find more Boos moving in a line. We look up to see holes at the top. I wonder where they go. Luckily, the moving grey boxes stop at the right place. Luigi carries me and we jump up through the first hole and go into the door where we find our way out.
We go to the next area where the mountains and grounds are brown. I smell something good. "Something smell good," I say to Luigi.
"That's because this whole island is made of chocolate," says Luigi. "This is Chocolate Island."
"I like chocolate."
"Same here, I like chocolate, sweet, oh and biscuits too."
"Yeah, biscuit! I want some of this chocolate!"
"Sorry Julie, but we can't eat it. We don't want to eat the whole island or else we'll fall straight into the ocean."
"Ohhh, okay." I'm sad as I still want chocolate.
"I know, once we rescue the princess, we get some sweet treats to eat."
"Yeah, let save the princess!"
Luigi is always so kind to me. We find out from the purple and brown block that we can go to different places when we collect lots of coins or go to the goal very fast. We climb up the hills to the other side and go through the green pipe. We beat the dinosaur bad guys (the ones that go small when you jump on their heads) and carefully jump over big holes. We use a spring to jump over a really big hole. We go through the green pipe into another place. This one is very safe. It is full of water and Super Mushrooms in bubbles. I have fun popping all the bubbles. We go through the green pipe at the end. We use the spring to jump over the really big hole and then jump up to the top of the hills. We beat the dinosaur bad guys and make our way to the goal. I want to go back there to try to open up another place but I follow Luigi to the next stage.
We are at the top. We use the spinning platforms to jump over to the next platform. Luigi tells me to get Yoshi to eat the blue shell Koopa. I let my Yoshi eat him and we fly over the place. Luigi on his Yoshi carry on jumping across the platforms. I have to fly down as there's a blue pipe in my way. I carry on flying and find Luigi coming out of the green pipe.
"Sorry Julie, I didn't mean to leave you alone," says Luigi.
"Huh? What happened?"
"I was following you and then I accidentally gone into the blue pipe into another place with lots of coins. I quickly got out so that I can find you." Luigi looks at my Yoshi. "Julie! You must come down right now! Yoshi is about to swallow the Koopa's shell. If he swallows it, he'll lose the ability to fly."
I look at Yoshi and notice that he is about to swallow the shell. Is it bad for Yoshi to swallow a shell? It looks dangerous. I get my Yoshi to go down on the platform. Yoshi gently spits out the shell onto the floor. He then eats the shell again. We fly across the sky as Luigi jumps across the platforms while avoiding the little black fuzzy things with eyes. We make it to the goal at the end. Strange, we end up going around in circle and back to the stage we just completed. Where do we go? Is there another way? Maybe we go back to the other place and see if we find another way out.
We go back to the other stage and try to find another way. We keep going to the same place. Maybe we need to do something different in order to get to the new place. After several tries, we make it to a different place. It must be because we went very quickly. We jump across the hills and avoid the red Parakoopas. We have to be careful not to fall down. We go through the green pipe at the end. We get attack by the helmet bad guys throwing balls. We jump to dodge the attack. Luigi beats the first helmet bad guy by jumping on his head three times. We avoid the others by jumping over them using the coloured blocks in the air above them. We find a key at the end and use it to open the keyhole.
We follow the path around the rocks and toward a green pipe. We go inside to another place. It's very dark in here. I see two green pipes high up on the mountain. I also see a small castle, a ghost house and a big castle below us. Behind all those things is a very big castle at the back with the word 'BOWSER' in different colours on the front of the castle. I think I see something moving in the air. Lightning strikes and I see someone in the flying machine. That someone is raising his arms in the air with a happy face.
"Mamma mia! It's Bowser!" says Luigi.
"Bowser?" I ask. So that someone in the flying machine is Bowser. The same Bowser we fight in order to rescue the princess. "Let go there now." I am about to jump down but Luigi stops me.
"Oh no, it's too dangerous to jump down there! We'll find a safer way there."
I follow Luigi to the next stage which is underground. We use the spring to jump to the other side of the lava and follow the path while avoiding the bad guys. We carefully run up hills while avoiding the rugby balls that the helmet bad guys kick at us. We carry on forward to a checkpoint and a green pipe. We go into the green pipe and slide down the hills, beating any bad guys in our way. It is a lot of fun sliding down the hills. We make it to the bottom where we go through the green pipe. We're in a very dark place. Yoshis help us out by eating the little red bad guys with spike on the top. We follow the path and quickly run across the gold ground to avoid falling into the lava. We beat the helmet bad guys that run into us. There are too many of them that they hit us and cause us to lose our Yoshis. Luigi carries me and jumps over the helmet bad guys. Luigi helps me to jump across the gold ground. The gold ground is like a hill so we have to be careful not to slide down into the lava. It's also very hard to run up them. We make it to the other end and go through the green pipe to the end.
We go into the green pipe on the other end and come out at the other side of Chocolate Island. We go straight for the castle. We wait for the big spike to come down and then we use the springs to jump up over the wall. We carefully jump down to the next floor and quickly jump into the little hole in the floor. We duck down to avoid the spinning spike circle that moves along the line. We jump out and carry on only to see another spinning spike circle. Luigi quickly grabs me and we jump over the spinning spike circle. We are able to jump over it because there's a hole above us. We quickly run forward and carefully jump onto the platform over the lava.
We avoid the jumping fire balls and jump to the other side where we have to carefully go past the spinning spike circles that moving around and lots of big spikes that come down. Luigi holds on to me to make sure that I don't get hurt. We carefully move forward while stopping in between the falling big spikes. We jump up across the platforms while avoiding the spinning spike circles. The next bit is very hard. There are three big spikes; two of them come down while the middle one goes up. Before, the big spikes slowly come out and then after a little while they come straight down. These three don't do that. They quickly come in and out without slowing down. We have to time it right in order to get past them. As soon as they move in, we quickly run past them but stop in between them to avoid getting hurt. We make it past them and go through the checkpoint.
We go into the yellow door into another room with yellow fire things with eyes and big moving grey blocks. There are two types of yellow fire things. The small ones are very fast while the big one is very slow. I am surprised by how big the yellow fire thing with eyes can be. They always move around the block, never getting off the ground. We carefully jump across small moving blocks while avoiding the bad guys. Some parts we have to quickly run through to avoid getting squash by the moving grey blocks. We make our way to the end where we beat a Dry Bone and safely jump past the small blocks with yellow fire things with eyes. We get the feather power-up from the green exclamation mark block and go through the big red door.
This is just like the battle at the other castle. It's the one with the lots of orange pipes and we have to hit the right bad guy that pops out of any of those pipes. The only difference is that all the orange pipes are the same; they're not big or small, they're the same size and they are lay out very straight. Another difference is that there are two flying fire balls that fly around the room, making it hard for us. To beat this girl Koopa we have to wait for her to come out of the pipes. Just like the other one, there are two not real Koopas. I always thought those not real Koopas were the Koopa's sidekicks. We have to avoid those two while trying to jump on top of the real girl Koopa. The girl Koopa makes fun of us by pulling faces at us. I help Luigi fight her. After a while, we beat her by jumping on her head three times. I think I hear her falling down through the pipe into lava. We rescue the egg and take him outside. I watch as Luigi runs off to get something. He comes back with a big brush. I smile as I watch Luigi wipes away the castle. The only thing left is a white flag on the ground.
We go to the broken ship underwater. I hate swimming underwater. Luigi helps me to quickly swim through this place. This place is very dangerous. I can't see much because it's very dark. I think I hear cannons firing. We swim into a pipe and inside what looks like a ship. We swim across and I hear Luigi screams underwater. I look and see lots of Boos around us, each one with different faces. I can feel Luigi shaking as he holds onto me. We swim as quickly as we can while avoiding the Boos and ghosts.
We go through the pipe at the end where we drop down. I can finally breathe now as we are not underwater anymore. Luigi holds onto to me. We grab the Super Star and fall down. It is a very long drop. There're Parakoopas flying in the air and falling spike ball and Koopas. We beat them using the Super Star power. We also fall through lots of coins. We fall down to the bottom where Luigi uses his cape to slow us down. We safely make it to the bottom and pick up the green ball with a question mark.
Everything starts shaking and a monster-like rock comes out of the water. We go inside to the place where I saw Bowser's castle. We go to the underground stage. We carefully make our way forward while avoiding the very big moles. I did not know that moles can be that big. This place is like a big maze. We got ourselves struck between the yellow blocks. Luigi gets us out by spinning his cape at the side of the yellow blocks. This hits the yellow blocks, causing them to spin around. We quickly go past the spinning blocks before they go back to normal. While going through this maze, I keep hearing something bumping on the other side of the exclamation mark blocks. I think the bad guys are struck on the other side.
We keep going until we stop at the path blocked by yellow blocks. I can hear something breaking blocks. Luigi is about to hit the yellow blocks with his cape until a helmet bad guy runs through the blocks, breaking the yellow blocks into little pieces. He runs through both me and Luigi, causing us to lose our cape power and making Luigi small. Luigi quickly grabs me and jumps through the hole that the helmet bad guy made. We run into more yellow blocks blocking our way. Before we can do anything, the yellow blocks we are standing on break and we fall down on top of another helmet bad guy. The helmet bad guy does not like it when we drop on his head like that. We both quickly run away from him.
We run down the bottom path where purple blocks blocked our way. Luigi puts me down and starts to pick up the purple blocks. He quickly picks them up and throws them away. I hear more blocks getting broken. Another helmet bad guy runs through the purple blocks but before he can hurt us, Luigi throws a purple block at him which beat him. Luigi is surprised to see that he beats the helmet bad guy with the block. I run to Luigi and tell him that we should get going. We both go inside the green pipe and to the goal at the end.
Luigi takes me back to the other stage to get Yoshi. Since I don't have the cape power, I can get myself hurt really easily. We find a Yoshi and I get back on. We go to the next stage where we are still underground. We carefully beat the bad guys while on the moving gold grounds. We go through the checkpoint at the end of the room and go into the green pipe. Luigi hits the question block which causes feather wings to fly out. We have no idea what those are. Yoshi jumps right into them. Yoshi quickly uses his tongue to pull Luigi to us and we all fly away. We are high in the night sky. There are lots of coins everywhere. Me and Luigi are flying around the sky on Yoshi, collecting coins we fly into. Yoshi looks purple in the night sky. We collect most of the coins and fly back down to the next stage. The Yoshi I'm on is still purple. Wow, I really like that colour!
We go to the next place which is a ghost house. Again, we have to carefully get through here and find the real exit. I follow Luigi and we dodge the green bubbles in the first room. In the next room, we press the 'P' button which causes question mark blocks and brown blocks to appear. We carefully follow the path but because we took too long, we couldn't make it through the small path. The coins turn back into brown blocks and we couldn't get through. We go through the door near us which takes us right at the exit.
"Wow! That was easy," says Luigi. "I'm a glad we didn't stay in there for too long."
"Yeah!" I say.
We go to the next place which is inside a cave. We beat the Parakoopas and jump over to the hills with spots. There're ropes in between the hills that we can walk on. The hills with spots look like vegetables to me. Each of them have different coloured leafs on top of them. We jump on a small green and orange platform with a number 1 on it. It moves but then fall once the number 1 disappears. There are more of those small green and orange platforms up ahead. One of them has the number 4 on it. When we go on the number 4 platform; it moves and the number counts down from 4 to 3 to 2 and then to 1. As soon as the 1 disappears, the platform falls down. The bigger the number, the longer the platform will move. The purple Yoshi helps me cross by flying across. This purple Yoshi has special power as he can fly with wing by eating red shell. Red shell gives Yoshi the power to spit out fire balls but because Yoshi is purple, it gives him the power to fly as well as spitting out fire balls. The problem is that we have to find another shell as once Yoshi spits out the fire balls, he doesn't get the red shell back. Luigi does great jumping across the platforms. We make it to the checkpoint and carry on across the hills and ropes. We use the green shell to make Yoshi fly as it won't disappear when it is spit out. There're small green and orange platforms with no number on them. They don't fall down when you land on them and they will keep moving back and forth. They move in an angle. Very big Bullet Bills fly across which Luigi avoid by jumping out of the way. We make it to the end and go to the next place.
We are still in the cave but this time there's lava. The helmet bad guy digs out round rocks at us. We dodge him by running under the platform he is on. We carefully jump across the lava and jump over another helmet bad guy. We jump across more lava using the grey rock platform in the lava. We hit the question mark block which make the plant grows up. I get Yoshi to eat the shell of the nearest Koopa and we fly up while Luigi climbs up. Luigi finds a green Yoshi inside the question mark block. We got to get the wings for the green Yoshi so that he can be purple. That way he can fly using any coloured shell. Luigi breaks the yellow blocks under us using his spin jump. We go across the lava while avoiding the bad guys. We go through the checkpoint and carry on across more lava. Luigi get me the feather power-up from a question mark block. Having a cape makes flying with Yoshi very easy. I also like the cape because it's cool. It gets really dangerous as there is more lava and more helmet bad guys digging out rocks at us. We avoid them and make our way to the end.
Next, we go to the number 7 castle. We start in a room full of lava. To get through this room, we need to ride on the moving line of brown blocks. Luigi helps me as we move along them. We follow the brown blocks up and past the swinging spiked ball on a chain. We avoid it but have to avoid more spiked balls on chains. We have to be careful not to fall down as there're yellow spikes on the floor. We follow it away from the spiked balls and then jump up using the brown blocks in the air as the line of brown blocks go straight up. We jump back onto the moving line of brown block as it moves straight across and follow it back to the spiked balls on chains. This time we go up above them. We jump onto the brown blocks that are like platforms and quickly run to the other side. We jump back onto the moving line of brown blocks and follow it. The next part is so hard that we end up getting very hurt. We get hit by the spiked balls on chains as we follow the moving line of brown blocks down. I see a Fire Flower power-up falling from above us. Luigi quickly grabs it to get the fire power. Didn't Luigi get that Fire Flower from before? So Mario and Luigi can have another power-up just in case they lose their power. We have to get out of the castle after we fall into the yellow spikes on the floor. We fall in because we jump out to avoid the spiked ball on chain. We just accidentally jump off the brown blocks as they move away from us. Back outside the castle, Luigi gives me a 1-up Mushroom to make me feel better. I feel all better now. Luigi eats one to recover. He is now small because he got hurt.
"You got no more Fire Flower?" I ask.
"No, I used it up," says Luigi.
"All of it?"
"Oh no, I can only carry one extra with me." So if Luigi gets hit, then the extra power-up will fall down to Luigi and he will have no extra power-up until he finds another power-up. "Julie, this place is very dangerous," Luigi says to me. "You stay out here with Yoshis. They will keep you safe. I will come back after I beat this Koopaling."
"Okay."
Luigi pats me on my head and goes back into the castle. I rest up outside the castle. This castle is very hard and very dangerous.
"Julie, are you okay?"
I turn to the voice and see that it's Mario. "Mario!" Me and the Yoshis run over to him.
"What happened?" Mario asks me. I tell him about what has happen to me and Luigi. "I see, Luigi gone back in to beat the Koopaling and to save the Yoshis."
"Luigi okay?"
"Yes, Luigi can do it. I'm a going to Bowser castle to rescue the princess."
"I going!"
"Julie, you should stay here and wait for Luigi."
"Save princess!" I go over to Mario.
Mario thinks about it. "Yoshi, let Luigi know that Julie is going with me."
The green Yoshi nods his head and wait outside the castle. I get on the purple Yoshi and follow Mario to a Super Star. We go past it and to the front of Bowser castle. I leave the purple Yoshi outside and go inside the castle with Mario. There are four rooms with grey blocks in a shape of a number. There is room number 1, room number 2, room number 3 and room number 4.
"Hmm, which a one should we take?" says Mario. He rubs his chin with one of his hands while looking at each room.
I look at the room. I like number 2, it's my lucky number. "This one!" I say to Mario.
We go through door number 2. We are in the room with the wired wall. We climb across it, dodging flying fireballs and beating the Koopas. We go through the door at the end which takes us into another four rooms. There is number 5, number 6, number 7 and number 8. We think about which room to take, I want to go into room number 8. In room number 8, we get attack by the helmet bad guys. They jump right at us. Mario carries me and we quickly run under them as they jump over us. We also jump over spikes on the floor. We go through the door at the end. It's very dark in this room, I can't see anything in here. We walk along and then Mario hits something which makes a colourful ball above us lights up. I look and see that Mario hit a red question mark block. When you hit it again, it will turn off the light. Using the light from the colourful ball above us, we carefully go through this dark place. There're jumping black clothes bad guys hiding in the dark. It's very hard to see them because it's too dark. There is also lava we need to jump over. There's this green and orange weird bad guy walking toward us. When Mario jumps on him, the green and orange bad guy goes to sleep. Mario picks him up and throws him at the other bad guys, beating them. After a while, the green and orange bad guy wakes up and carries on walking around. I don't like this bad guy, we can't beat him by jumping on his head. We make our way to the end where we go through the big red door. We are at the top of the castle. It's very dark outside. Lightning and thunder light up the dark sky. Mario takes me to a safe place.
"Julie, stay here and don't move unless you're in danger. You should only move to a safe place."
"Okay," I say to Mario.
I watch as a weird flying thing flies down and then Bowser pops up from the flying thing. He flies across like a swing swinging from one end to the other. He then stops and gets inside his flying thing. He throws out two of the green and orange weird bad guys. Mario knocks them out by jumping on their heads. He picks one up and looks up. As soon as Bowser flies toward him, Mario throws the bad guy up into the sky. The bad guy falls right on top of Bowser's head. Bowser is seeing stars right now while his flying thing is crying. Mario runs over to pick up the other bad guy. Bowser moves about and then stops to throw out two more of the green and orange bad guys. Mario knocks the bad guy he picked up into the other bad guy by running into him. He beats both the bad guys by doing that. Wow, I didn't know you can beat them like that. Mario quickly knocks the other bad guys out and picks him up. He throws him into the air as soon as Bowser flies toward him. The bad guy hits Bowser right on his head. Bowser is seeing more stars again. Bowser goes inside the flying thing and flies away. I run to the side when Bowser flies too close to me. Scary looking fires fall down one after the other. Mario dodges them. The flying thing comes back when the fires disappear.
"Help!" a yellow hair princess wearing a pink dress says as she pops out of the flying thing.
Huh? Is that Princess Toadstool? I thought she had red hair and wear a white and red dress. She waves her arms about and throws a Super Mushroom down. I pick up the Super Mushroom and keep it just in case Mario needs it. Princess Toadstool gets pull into the flying machine and Bowser pops back up. If Mario can get up there, I know that he can beat up Bowser by fighting him in the flying thing. Bowser flies around different now. He flies up and down while flying across the sky. He then stops and goes inside the flying thing. The flying thing goes upside down and pops out a big blue ball. Whoa! Where did that come from?! Mario gets hit and turns small. A feather power-up falls from the sky. Mario grabs it and gets the cape power back. Bowser carries on flying about and stops to let another blue ball out. Mario jumps over the blue ball to avoid it. Bowser flies about again and after a while, stops to throw out the bad guys. Mario knocks out the bad guys and picks one up. He throws it up but it hits the flying thing. It looks like he needs to throw it up on top of Bowser's head in order to beat him. Mario picks up the other one and carefully throws him up. The bad guy goes up and then falls down right on top of Bowser's head. Bowser does not like that. Bowser does the same thing again. He throws out the big blue ball twice and then throws out the bad guys. Mario uses one of the bad guys to hit Bowser while he kicks the other one away.
Bowser goes inside the flying thing and flies away. Scary looking fires fall down again. After they disappear, the flying thing comes back in. Princess Toadstool pops out and throws another Super Mushroom out. Mario quickly gets the Super Mushroom. The princess gets pull in and Bowser pops back out. The flying thing now looks angry and evil. Bowser doesn't fly around anymore. He bounces around, trying to squish Mario. Mario dodges him by running under him as he bounces over. After a while, Bowser stops in the air to throw out the bad guys. Mario quickly knocks one of them out and picks him up. He dodges Bowser and then throws the bad guy up into the air. The bad guy falls on top of Bowser's head. Mario couldn't get the other one as he walks far away. Mario keeps dodging Bowser until Bowser throws out more bad guys. Mario gets one of the bad guys and throws him at Bowser, hitting Bowser in his head.
Smokes come out and Bowser in the flying thing goes upside down. Princess Toadstool falls out of the flying thing and Bowser flies off. Princess Toadstool walks over to Mario and kisses him on his cheek. Mario goes all red in the face when the princess kissed him.
"Mario, princess, Julie!" I turn to the voice and see Luigi running to us. "Mario, you did it!"
"Luigi, you saved the remaining Yoshis!" Mario says. He is happy that Luigi helped out.
"That last castle was very hard but I beat him," says Luigi.
"What happened?" I ask Luigi.
"I was on a small island. Lavas jump out so I had to be careful. It was just me and Larry Koopa. I waited for the island to tilt at the right angle and then I hit him off the island and into the lava. I then rescued the Yoshi and took him outside. I decided not to use explosive. That was very dangerous."
"You blow up," I say. I remember, Luigi went to the castle to see what's going on. It was supposed to blow up but it didn't. And then it blew up just as Luigi was checking it. It blew up both Luigi and the castle.
"Oh yeah, don't want that to happen again. So I instead just picked up the castle and kicked it away."
"Wow, Luigi! You're strong just like Mario," I say.
"Let's a go and have our vacation," says Mario.
"Va…ca…tion?" I ask.
"It means taking a holiday where we can rest and have fun," the princess says to me.
"Yeah!" I say.
Mario gets the princess onto the green Yoshi and walks with her while I go on the purple Yoshi. Luigi walks with me as we make our way back to Yoshi's home. Behind us are the seven eggs that we saved. They are following behind us. When we make it back to Yoshi's home, there're pretty things on top of the house. A red Yoshi and a yellow Yoshi are jumping about, happy that we come back. We stand in the middle of the house and watch as the eggs open up one after the other. They are babies and they are different colour. We got red ones, blue ones, yellow ones and a green one. We are all very happy. We are now resting up at Yoshi's home.
"Mario, how did you got to Bowser's castle?" Luigi asks.
"Using the Star Road," says Mario.
"Star Road?" I ask.
"You found a way to get to other places?" Luigi asks.
"There's a hidden keyhole that'll take you to other places," says Mario.
"Go to Star Road!" I say. I want to see it.
"Okay, it should be safe now that Bowser is gone," says Mario.
Me, Mario and Luigi go to the star in the cave after the second castle. We climb up the other way and use the star to go up into shiny star shaped place. There're stars at each end of this place and a hill in the middle. I can see a smiling moon in the night sky. The first stage we go into is underwater. I am not good with that. Luigi helps me to swim while Mario gets a baby purple Yoshi from the egg. I hear something getting eaten and then I hear Yoshi. Luigi puts me on the Yoshi and we quickly swim through this place. We make it to the other end where Mario uses the key on the keyhole. We are back out.
"Mamma mia! I didn't know there was a hidden path there," says Luigi.
Mario shows us the other stages. While falling through all the yellow blocks, we find a red egg. It opens up and a baby red Yoshi comes out. Luigi picks him up. We fall down and I watch as the baby red Yoshi eats all the Koopas. He turns into a big Yoshi after eating a certain number of them. Luigi gets on. This red Yoshi can spits out fireballs when eating any coloured shell. So he can fly with the blue shell and at the same time, spits out fireballs.
Another stage has a baby yellow Yoshi. Mario feeds him with coins that the Lakitus throws. The coins are actually Spinies but got turn to coin because we pressed a grey 'P' button. After a while, the yellow baby Yoshi turns big. Mario then grabs the purple block and throws it at Lakitus. It knocks the Lakitus right out of his cloud.
"I want to ride that!" I say. I point at the cloud. My purple Yoshi and I jump up the floating purple blocks and we jump onto the cloud. We fly around. I go up where I find a key and a keyhole. "Do I put this in?"
"Yes, just put the key in," says Mario.
"But do I need to get off and put it in?" I ask.
"Oh no, don't do that. Yoshi can get the key in," Mario says to me.
I go over to the key. My purple Yoshi eats the key and spits it into the keyhole.
The next stage, we jump across the hills and spinning platforms. I have the easy time getting through here because my purple Yoshi can fly by eating any shells. I fly across and find a place with lines of green exclamation mark blocks and pink exclamation mark blocks. I get Yoshi to spit out the shell at the question mark block near the keyhole. A key comes out of the question mark block. I bet it really hard to get this without the green and pink exclamation mark blocks. We put the key in the keyhole. We go past the next stage because Mario says that it's very hard. We go to the top of the hill that has a star on top. This takes us to a place with stars that spell out 'SPECIAL' in the black sky. At the very top are green, yellow, red and blue shapes. Those look like the same shapes on my thing that I use to play games.
The first stage has these lines of bouncing green things. Mario bounces on the other end of it to go higher. Next there're two ways to get up. One is by the rope on the machine or up the green plant. Yoshis can't get up. We tell Yoshis to get back home while we climb up this place. Mario and Luigi help me climb up. We use the blocks to climb up near the top and then we jump down the other side. We go to the bottom and through the pipe. We press the 'P' buttons to make the question mark blocks appear. We follow it to the end where we need to beat the bad guy on the flying platform. We use the flying platform to get to the higher ground and carefully make our way to the end.
The stages in this place are very dangerous. It's a good thing I got Mario and Luigi to help me out. In the next stage, they help me fly across the sky. We avoid the bad guys while trying to keep flying using the 'P' balloons. This is very dangerous as one hit from the bad guys can make us fall down and it is a very long way down. The stage after that is also dangerous as we have to pick the right path for the platform. The wrong path will cause us to fall a long way down. We use the 'ON' and 'OFF' switches to change the path.
Another stage is an ice place with Koopas kicking shells at us. And after that are the jumping fishes and big Bullet Bills. The next stage is a bit safer than the others in this place. We get a green Yoshi from the question mark block at the beginning and then go through this place while beating the bad guys. I get Yoshi to eat the red and pink fruits. Yoshi eats a lot that he lays an egg. The egg opens and a smiling cloud flies up and drops coins. We collect the coins when we can.
I don't like the next stage because it has water in it and I can't swim. The water always goes up and down which causes problems for the fishes as they can't swim on the floor. The next stage is a forest with jumping fires and lots of cannons and Bullet Bills. We sometime use the cannons to get to higher places. At the last stage of this place, we go through all the dangerous bad guys to find coins that spell out 'YOU ARE A SUPER PLAYER!' at the very end. I wonder what that means. We go back out using the star we open up. Everything changes when we did that. The whole place is a different colour than before. I'm sure it wasn't this colour. Also, some of the bad guys are different too. The Koopas are wearing weird big head things and there're jumping pumpkin head plants. We go back to Yoshi's home where Mario and Luigi take the princess back home. I say goodbye to them and go back to my home.
And the game I found myself in is Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo. I love playing this game, I think this one is my favourite Mario game. And about the cape power-up, I love it now. I don't think it's not cool when Mario flies like that. I find it funny now.
